Isobel was set to go out on a training mission today with one of her other classmates. She did wish that she could have gone with one of her friends from her school as part of the exchange program. She walked to the staff room to chat with Aizawa-sensei waiting outside for the student she was meant to be working with today.

I like to think that since she moved back to Japan, and still refuses her father's wealth, that Ayame struggles sometimes with money. She has learned to save most of her wages from teaching, and heroing, but the move took much of it away. This has caused her to save some clothing that is strictly for special occassions, but also selling some of her more professional attire to rebuild some of her wealth. Despite this, she still tries to buy her friends things she thinks they will like, which is her biggest weakness.

In spite of everything, she’s here at the doors. Probably with a sniper tracking her from somewhere. She doesn’t think they’d kill her - not at this point. But it would certainly not be pleasant to be shot at, even if nonlethally.

She enters the building, and immediately feels eyes on her. Nedzu? She should’ve guessed. She respects few people, but he does have hers. In a way they were very similar: a lab rat and a girl groomed into “godhood”. She continues to muse, watching the eyes of the heroes teaching at the building graze her as she walks down the halls.

1-A. Rehab. She dislikes that word’s connotations. She doesn’t need to put her use to some faux-heroic effort. Her information broking helped thousands of people, even if in morally suspicious ways.

But that was behind her now. The bar had been taken, and she was to be living in the dorms. Monitored. Constantly.

Her brooding continues until she sees a flash of green hair. Her eyes widen in surprise. It takes a lot to truly keep her off guard, but this would qualify. She’s unused to being disconnected from the underground - if she’d still been running her bar, she’s sure she would’ve already known - but this seals her misery.

She isn’t miserable because of his presence - on the contrary, she finds him pleasant enough. Smart, not obnoxious, and not dramatic enough to have to deal with theatrics to create opportunities and deals. She’ll offer a truce, just in case. They hadn’t parted on bad terms last time they’d met, but even so, they were competitors.

Emphasis on were. And that’s what really gets her. She hadn’t known. She almost always knows. And now everything she’d built for years has been taken from her in pursuit of some “greater good”. It’s nauseating.

She walks closer to him, Mary-jane heels clicking on the floor.

“Usagi. This is a surprise.”

he's half asleep when he finds mic. foggy headed & zombified from a latest dose of pain meds. It was the only way they allowed him back to teach. If he stayed on top of his health. & he had pushed himself too hard , an adrenaline rush from being away for so long. Maybe he was a little hard on the kids. . . . he wonders if they had been gossiping about it. Eh. They'll be fine.

The soft click of the cane sounds through the walls and it's the only noise he makes. He's a little slower than usual.

He nearly collapses on the couch in the lounge .

AUs & Verses

Unless tagged otherwise, all threads take place in their own, separate version of the main universe.

Main

Rades is a rogue mage who resides in the Clover Kingdom.  After being captured during the Elf Invasion, he was sentenced and is currently serving out his judgement under the supervision of Makusa North of the Clover Kingdom’s Magic Tool Research Lab.  Other than being under strict observation, he has almost as much freedom as the average commoner that lives in the capital city.

My Hero Academia AU

Rades is a low level thug with a corpse-animating quirk.  He gets scouted as a potential recruit to the League of Villains by Giran, but is slow on the uptake.  Rades is used to appearing as his own boss, surrounded by bodyguard corpses.  Why would he want to work for someone else? Quirk: Reanimated Corpse (僵屍 Kyōshi) grants the user the ability to reanimate and raise the dead by touching their bodies.  If multiple corpses are touching, a pile can be raised with one touch.  Special Corpses are able to retain the quirks from when they were alive and use them.  All corpses are under the user’s full command and will not act without orders.  Corpses cannot be healed.

Villain rehabilitation verse

Hyacinth was found by either All Might or another hero during a sting operation, and instead of sending her off to prison at such a young age. They decide to try and do a form of restorative justice for her and rehabilitate her at UA.

The students will be given very little information as to not affect her schooling. The teachers will be fully made aware of the reason why she is in the school.

Her quirk is still the same. Don't know if she will still be in Class-1B, or Class-1A so Aizawa can keep an eye on her.

Her ears are ringing. That’s the first thing the girl notices. Her vision twists, and she falls over in a bout of vertigo. Mother bless her, what’s happened?

On instinct, she tries to connect to her divinity. It’s there, and she sighs in relief, almost as if she’d feared it being taken away. Her quirk is her blessing as the Priestess. If she had failed in her duties, would she be forced to relinquish it? She shivers at the thought. She thinks it might kill her.

When her vision clears, she notices a man. He looks a bit scraped up, but not terribly injured. White hair. Around them is suspiciously colored dust - reddish, with a gory like consistency.

She stands up wobblily, not backing away from the man. If he tried anything, she would simply do her duty as Priestess. Eradicate any threats to the Church of the Great Spider.

“Speak your name.” she says, but does not yet offer hers.
