League of Villians dealing with a member that has hannahki due to a hero, ANGST!
I actually had to look up what Hanahaki was as I didn’t recognize the term, but once I saw it I knew what it was (I just didn’t know the name).
-It had been a fight that went wrong very quickly, and you had been hit in the crossfire.
-You were a member of the League of Members, your friends- your family, but you had a supportive role, using your healing abilities to keep your friends safe.
-The heroes knew about you, and many tried to convince you to become a hero, wanting to use your abilities for the Hero Association, which you had no intention of doing.
-Your parents had used you, forcing you to heal others despite the backlash it had on your body if you did too much in such a short amount of time. They extorted your quirk for money, charging a small fortune to have you heal others so they wouldn’t have to go to the hospital.
-After your parents were found out and arrested by the Hero Association, they tried doing the same thing, using the guise that you were a hero, and it was the duty of heroes to help others!
-You were tired of helping others, as you remember begging so many of the ones you were forced to heal to save you from your cruel parents who would beat you to comply, only for them to ignore you. And you told the Association you didn’t want to heal others, not wanting to use your powers, they tried to gaslight you, telling you that your quirk was meant to help others and to not do it would cause suffering for so many.
-What about your suffering?
-That’s when you met Shigaraki and the League of Villains, your safe space, people who cared about you as a person, who never made you use your quirk if you didn’t want to.
-You didn’t do ‘evil’ things like they did, but you did nothing to stop or report them which basically made you a villain, but you ignored the self-righteous words of the heroes who constantly tried to ‘save you’ from them.
-You knew that you were safe right where you were.
-It was a battle with a newly emerged hero who used flowers to fight, from binding to stunning with pollen and other flower-based attacks.
-When he had seen you hiding around a corner, watching your friends fight, making sure none of them would get seriously injured, he came to evacuate you from the area, thinking you were a civilian that hadn’t been able to get away.
-He realized who you were, and he grabbed your wrist, telling you that you had to come and heal his comrades that had been hurt, but you refused, trying to hit his hand to get free.
-He grew angry at your defiance and when Dabi saw you being accosted, he shouted, trying to get this hero away from you, rushing towards you. When Dabi sent a wall of fire at this hero, he shot a hand towards you, hitting you with something that blew you back, away from Dabi’s flames, but you knew that Dabi would never hurt you.
-You clutched at your chest, feeling a sudden heaviness growing as your eyes went wide, trying to gasp for air as you coughed up flower petals. Your hands covered your mouth in horror as Dabi saw what happened and when the others realized you had been hit, Shigaraki ordered the retreat.
-Himeko was beside herself in tears about an hour later at the hideout as you were struggling to breathe, coughing up flowers as it felt like your esophagus was struggling to open and you were growing weaker and weaker, unable to get the air you needed.
-Spanner was panicking, hugging you close, trying to comfort you, “What do we do?!” Twice was panicking, holding his head as he kept flip flopping, saying you needed a hospital while the other personality said they needed to hunt down this hero and make him fix you!
-Shigaraki was quieter than normal, not liking the sight of you suffering so much and when you lurched again, coughing up more petals, he glared, standing suddenly, “We’re going! Twice- you and Toga guard Y/N! Spanner you carry Y/N- Dabi with me!”
-Spanner held you close as Shigaraki led the group to the Hero Association, furious that you had been attacked, and when they stormed in, instantly they were surrounded by heroes, ready to take them all on until their focus quickly went to you as you coughed up more petals, your body beginning to convulse from the force of the coughs, trying to clear out the flower petals.
-Eyes went wide and instantly All Might, who was front and center, demanded the hero that did this to you be brought forward, as this attack was deemed illegal, due to it being so dangerous, and to see that an innocent had been hit made the situation worse.
-The hero, Flower Power, seemed smug, like he had won, “Looks like my plan worked! I knew you all would turn yourselves in to save Y/N!”
-He didn’t realize that there was a Twice clone high above, livestreaming the whole thing, showing how cruel some heroes actually were as Flower Power continued to monologue, acting like he was hot shit since he got the League of Villains to turn themselves in to save you, and to get you back in their custody so you could heal people again.
-Surprisingly, All Might was the one who grabbed Flower Power, looking scary as he glared down at him, “You harmed an innocent and willingly put their life at risk. Fix this now!” being faced with a very pissed off All Might would make anyone wet themselves, and he was quick to reverse his attack on you, instantly clearing your lungs.
-You gulped down air, gasping loudly as Spanner held you close, calling out your name in worry as Himeko kneeled next to you, rubbing your back and took the face mask for oxygen from Midnight who rushed it over.
-All Might threw Flower Power down, and many were looking furious at him that he would do such a thing, calling for his immediate termination from the Association, while others had to admit, while extreme, his methods did manage to do a lot.
-All Might allowed Shigaraki and the rest of you to leave without a fight, once you were stable, not willing to fight, as it showed that while villains, they still did what they had to in order to help you, showing that they weren’t truly bad people, they just did bad things.
-All Might told Shigaraki the next time they would meet, they would be taken into custody, something Shigaraki wasn’t bothered at, as he was only worried about getting you back home where you were safe once again.
-Nobody was going to take you from them, as you were there of your own choice. Nobody was going to use you. Nobody.

Mha/Khr crossover where the Tenth Gen kind of trip their way into becoming a teen vigilante group (something that Reborn finds infinitely amusing) and through a series of near misses find themselves cornered by a group of Concerned Adults who offer them a chance at “rehabilitation” and to become true heroes by going to UA on a probationary basis.
Reborn thinking it’s funny/good training so he lets it happen and even gets himself named as their homeroom teacher despite the fact he looks maybe seventeen at this point.
Including Tsuna and Izuku bonding over having generational trauma, Mukuro and Chrome breaking any and all laws of quirk science intentionally or not, Reborn and Nezu being terrifyingly good friends, and poor Aizawa Shouta who will never know peace again.

Mha AU fanfiction idea.
Villain deku au but every time Izuku tries to complete his plan he is stopped by spanner in the works who unknowingly ruined Izuku's plans.
Example
Izuku plans to get a couple of heroes framed for murdering the daughter of important peoples to ruin the same important people's trust in heroics, that plan is ruined by a group of vigilante who noticed the kidnapping and stop the murder of the girl and nearly defeat Izuku , results: Izuku gain an black eye while the vigilante know there is a villain who can plan an assassination (they don't know who as Izuku is masked from identification)
Izuku plans to gain control of a gang to get more gang into it and snowballs into an army of disillusioned from heroic, that plan is ruined by a group of villains who got standard found the gang and noticed some of their Enemies is in the gang and learned about destroying Japan and deciding on killing most of the gang though grenade dropping from the sky and ambush with explosion. Results: Izuku lost the gang and the group of standard villains learns about a rising mastermind who wants to destroy Japan (they don't know who as Izuku is not there for the gang destruction.)
Izuku planned to show Japan the truth of Endeavor and All Might by using a one and done hacking tool (that is destroyed after one use to prevent any tracking) that can hack all of Japan to sow despair, that plan is ruined in the beginning after Izuku uses the device by a Japan size blackout by a villain in a other city fighting a group of different vigilantes. Results: Izuku's hacking device is forever broken and Japan learns about a villain who can hack Japan (they don't know who.)
At that point Izuku wonders if this is a warning from the universe to get him stop being a villain.
Edit: You can choose if Izuku is quirk less or got a op quirk but the idea is that villain deku is always beaten by a spanner in the work ( who may be canon character but I want someone to write an original character team who will ruin villain deku plan unknowingly while fighting another villain.)

Bakugō Katsuki: Engineer
Fandom: BNHA // MHA — [ Masterlist ]
Summary: ~1.5k, fluff, a little violence.
• Being a talented inventor meant your skills were sought by many (both good and bad), but then you catch the attention of Dynamight.
Warnings: Cursing, violence, mention of weapons, post time skip.
>>>>——————————>
Tumblr media
"You can't be serious Bakugō-san."
The pro snapped to his trusty assistant, raising an expectant brow when replying like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"You said they're the best. That's who I want for my agency."
"Yes but—"
"But nothing! Do you know where I can find them?"
"Everyone who has tried has been refused. Their infamous talent has been sought by heroes, big companies, and even villainous characters... All of whom failed to hire them."
"’Cause I haven't asked yet."
"Bakugō-san, I know there's no convincing you otherwise but, I'd recommend having other options available at least."
True to his assistants' warnings, you were no easy recruit, all his efforts at communication were futile. Emails? Calls? Letters? You hadn't replied to any of his professional outreach methods and he suspected this was a common occurrence for you.
Fine then, he'd turn up the heat. Your workshop address wasn't a secret to those with connections and Bakugō wasn't one to give up without a fight. Literally, if need be.
———
It was a perplexing thing in the middle of nowhere, your workshop. A metal-like building heavily lined with obscure defensive weaponry as well as having access to your own personal scrapyard it seemed. But it was yours. A rumoured mechanical talent for crafting hero gear and inventions, one that drew attention from far and wide. However you were content in your independence, it was less hassle this way you'd hoped.
Alas, the confident banging on the metal entrance doors with conviction was far from unusual.
"I told ya, I don't—" You paused once sliding open the door and taking a look at your visitor, lifting your goggles and shifting to a smile. "Haven't seen you at my door before."
"Since ya didn't answer my calls or mail, I don't have a choice." The man seethed through gritted teeth, trying to be more 'accommodating' like advised.
"Oh? Which one are you again?" Your gaze flicked to a pile of (some charred) letters in a nearby bin, smile growing more smug by the second.
"Bakugō Katsuki. You might know me as Dynamight though."
"Yeah you're fun. I like you." You smirked proudly, honesty and bemusement present. "The way you yell at people resonates with me."
The man rolled his eyes with scoffing sound, choosing not to say anything rambunctious enough to have you slam the door in his face - still, he was surprised when you welcomed him in.
"Tch. S'pose you know why I'm here then."
"You, and many others. Had Lemillion here last month, least he bought me a welcome basket with cake and such." You joked, easing the caution the blonde seemed to be upholding around you with his natural personality showing.
"Tch, ain't gonna get you none of that crap unless you start working with me. I did bring something useful though because I'm better than the other extras you've dealt with." He held out a bag, one you quizzically explored to find a peculiar item to win one over with.
"A spanner...?"
It wasn't just a spanner, it was one of the newest, top of the grade, multi tool sets crafted by one of the big brands. Thoughtful. Very thoughtful actually...
"I appreciate it, but I can't accept something this expensive. Especially when I'm going to decline your offer."
"S'fine. It's a gift, but if you feel that guilty about it then you can fix my gauntlets." Bakugō justified rather abruptly, shoving the bag into your arms to ensure you took it.
"Alright. That sounds fair."
"I'll grab 'em from my car, get your shit ready."
That afternoon, you sat beside Katsuki as he talked you through the technicalities of his weaponry whilst you worked on them together. All the while diverting onto conversation tangents and making drinks mid way, he demonstrated his quirk - tiny sparkles of explosive lighting up his hand.
"They're pretty, your explosions."
"They’re deadly— I don't— shut up nerd!" He dismissed you briskly, turning away with an irritated growl.
———
Fixing his gear would be the first and last time you'd see Bakugō in person you assumed, considering you declined his job proposition and all.
So when you received another bout of rapid banging on metal the following week, you were surprised to find a smirking Dynamight rather than another recruiter.
"Shocked to see me or something?"
"Well I— yeah. Figured you'd take my refusal and go."
"Nah you did a good job with my gauntlets, wanted to see what else you're up to." Dynamight flexed his wrist for example, openly pleased with his gauntlets but seemed more so by your genuine reaction.
"Oh really?" You sounded truly perplexed, but also excited to share your work with someone. "Sure, I'll show you my latest ideas!"
Bakugō stayed a while, a couple of hours discussing applications for your inventions and inquiring as to whether there were any materials you were unable to obtain recently. Then it moved on to his occupation, his agency, and then to trivial matters such as popular restaurants around town.
“So, wanna join my agency yet?” The blonde threw over his shoulder on his way out of the door.
“No Dynamight, but thank you for asking and visiting.”
“Fine nerd. I’ll be back then.”
Now you didn’t believe that for a second when he slammed the door behind him, and you felt like he’d only asked for the sake of it - fully expecting you to say no. However, if he did decide to visit again, you wouldn’t be mad about it you concluded.
———
Unfortunately, your next set of individuals weren’t so welcomed. You’d seen them multiple times previously, each visit coming with its increase of pressure to work exclusively for them. A dealer who specialised in exporting weaponry to villains on the black market, they had both the money and power to pose either a threat or a reward. Except, your constant refusals had only fuelled their growing impatience which led them crashing down your door tonight with violence in their wake.
"C'mon (L/n), I came here personally just to hire you. We'll certainly pay you well enough~" The dealer slammed you into the wall, digits digging so deeply into your neck you barely managed a disgruntled wretch.
"I'll neve— ever work— for you assholes!"
"Too bad, the consequence for that is death y’know." You were slung across the floor, a gasp for breath futile when he aimed his pistol at your heart. "Want to reconsider yet?"
"Fuck you."
The gun safety clicked off, one of the henchman's quirks keeping you painfully immobile. If these were your final moments you were furious you hadn't completed your latest invention, maybe a little irritated you hadn't hit the code red before you were taken over by a damn quirk. You avoided pledging alliances to avoid this bullshit! You didn't work for any competitors, you weren't in the line of fire for sharing information, but now you can't even refuse work without getting caught in a crime web?! Society and talent is a sh—
Then an ear splitting bang echoed in the facility, dust clouds and debris forcing through the room like a tidal wave, leaving two intruders knocked out and the remainder covering their faces and yelling confused curses. That's when you saw sparks of light, a familiar explosion you had the privilege of seeing in person only once before.
He came back.
"That's why they call me Great Explosion Murder God!" He grinned menacingly, teeth bared like a predator with a dangerous glint in those crimson eyes. Sparks and smoke danced around him, the hero lowering both his stance and voice when he spoke what sounded like a protective threat.
"Now get away from my agency's' new engineer."
Oddly you felt butterflies in your stomach, but you'd narrowed that down to the whole situation being an absolute bombshell. You watched as Dynamight immobilised them effortlessly, the quirk being lifted allowing you to utilise your inventions - mechanised laser snipers pointed at the foreheads of your unwanted company, all programmed to fire with a snap of your fingers.
"Couldn't have done that sooner nerd?" The hero shot back to you tauntingly, but you didn’t miss how his gaze flared up at the sight of bruising on your neck when he’d scanned you for injury.
"Then you'd be out of a job, hero."
It took no longer than ten minutes for the authorities to arrive, during that time Dynamight had retrieved any information he’d wanted. As well as issuing basic first aid to you contrastingly softly in comparison to the deathly interrogation the dealer experienced.
You’d be taken to hospital for a check of course, (Bakugō personally walking you to your escort since he couldn’t drive you himself right now) but before you bid farewell you had a burning question.
"When can I start?"
"Hah?" Came his classic recall, snapping to you with a look of angry curiosity.
"You called me your engineer, I was wondering when that begins." Your voice was quieter now, but upon realising Katsuki seemed a little embarrassed with hand rubbing his neck and honest answer spilled.
"It's your choice, but I figured saying that would get others off your back when word gets around. You'd be left in peace for a while to continue your work."
"And if I want to work with you, when would you want me at the agency?
"All the time." Just as quickly as he spoke, he realised his lack of hesitance, awkwardly huffing and rephrasing all in one. "I'll send over a contract, you can move stuff into the lab if you like the terms."
"Then I look forward to working with you, boss." Gladly, you held out your hand to him, pleased smirk plastered on your features.
"Call me Katsuki." He shook your hand, victorious grin in play. "And the pleasure’s all mine."

Thelreads, MHA 162, Replies
1)“Now in all seriousness, why the hell was kurogiri up in the mountains, all alone, and how the fuck they managed to get him?!”-Well, as was to be shortly revealed, he was informing the rain man of the state of affairs since they’d last met and pointing him in the direction of shigaraki for aid, since he wasn’t feeling too confident in his ability to keep AFO’s successor safe by himself, which arguably makes Shigaraki’s actions and planning throughout the arc even more impressive, since he pulled off everything he did without the aid and supervision of Kurogiri like he normally would have had in his corner, so it shows how much he can adapt and improve himself when under pressure and properly motivated.
As for how they caught him- I’m assuming Gran Torino managed to sneak close enough to speed-blitz Kurogiri’s body before he could create any defensive warp portals and thus incapacitated him that way. Plus, it’s stated that Kurogiri’s warping is ‘coordinate-based’ so perhaps his ability to warp to other locations is hampered if he’s in an unfamiliar location? He might need to ‘store’ or remember coordinates for safe areas he can flee to in a hurry, and since the normal escape route he had before led back to Kamino ward, and the league are currently moving from location to location to keep ahead of the cops, it’s likely he doesn’t have a ‘safe point’ to flee to this time, and since he’s unaware of the local coordinates, he can only warp to locations he himself can see?
In which case Gran Torino’s speed would still be the deciding factor, since he could catch up before Kurogiri could decide upon the next point to warp to and beat the stuffing out of him-I think it’s implied the warping takes a degree of mental focus, so injuring or hurting Kurogiri might impact his ability to successfully warp- his warping ability got disrupted when Bakugou blew him up during the USJ attack, and he was only able to flee because none of the teachers were able to physically injure him in time
2)“Either he knows he’ll escape this, or he already dealt with the business he came all this way for, and is merely stalling them while the wild man escapes.”-eh, kinda- he’s already dealt with his business and made first contact with the rain man, and from the way the dialogue was going he’s fine either being captured by the police or being able to take advantage of the chaos of his attack against them to flee- he basically sees either option as acceptable, since he’s done everything he could to prepare Tomura to lead on his own, and has now ‘passed the baton’ of teaching him to the rain man
3)“Oh fuck, it wasn’t Gran Torino the one that did that noise, it was the Wild Man.”-It’s a massive missed opportunity here that Horikoshi didn’t draw a puddle nearby vibrating with his footsteps ala Jurassic park- it’s the prefect setup for it.
4)“Kurogiri is smarter than that anyway, since he’s the holder of 98% of the League’s brain mass.”-More like 70% now that Tomura’s done some levelling on his ability to implement tactical planning and make smart informed decisions in Kurogiri’s absence
5)“At least they didn’t tried to cover up their failure. They could’ve said that the convoy was attacked but the villains didn’t got anything or something like that as an attempt to save face, but they went the high road and let the general public know that they fucked up.”-it’s kinda hard to term that a failure on the police’s part, given that the raid was supposed to be dealing with only the Hassaki members and following it they’d all been captured- the convoy was prepped to handle assaults from the known members of the remaining Yakuza family, but the league’s presence was an unexpected spanner in the works for them, and given they’d already got one professional hero to protect the convoy, it’s hard to think of what other precautions they could have taken that wouldn’t have been complete overkill in transporting a group of badly wounded and beaten yakuza, and thus difficult to justify and get authorisation to implement.
6)“As usual, the main protagonist just happens to walk by when the news are talking about something plot-related”-And that’s it. That’s the last we hear of Overhaul so far. I was curious if this translation would extrapolate on his current condition beyond missing two limbs but apparently not. Having lost both arms and being left alone on the highway with emergency vehicles likely several minutes away from reaching him means there’s actually quite a large possibility that Overhaul could have bled to death before someone reached him in time for emergency medical treatment, and Deku’s statement here leaves it quite ambiguous whether he’s dead or not. Either version of Overhaul’s fate going forward is preferable, but it does kind of irk me that we don’t actually know his current state past this point
7) “see? You know that this is the time to mourn, and that your very soul yearns to cry for all that happened, but you still force a smile on your face, since it was what All Might did, and what Sir asked you to do, am I right?”-the way I see it, Miro somewhat forcing himself into the acceptance stage of his grief here. He’s clinging tightly to Nighteye’s last words and focusing on the future where he’ll become a ‘fine hero’ in whatever capacity that may be, and he’s had about a day since to allow himself to mourn and deal with Nighteye’s loss.
He’s still sad and upset by it, but rather than ignoring it, he’s dealt with the majority of his grief and is pushing himself into being the happy, smiling guy he was before the raid, with his negative emotions  having ‘peaked’ since yesterday and him dealing with the aftereffects on his own time- I get the feeling he’s mature enough to know that bottling up his grief would be bad for him, but there’s been enough time passed between Nighteye’s death and Midoria meeting him that he’s been able to deal with enough of it to start acting like he did before, so he can deal with the rest of it in private later.
8)“Oh boy, I felt that this was approaching… Guess the title of the chapter was a huge clue that we would talk again about who was the one that should be the symbol of peace, but, Midoriya actually went the extra mile and offered to pass on his quirk to mirio”-It was kinda inevitable- the whole arc Mirodira’s subplot has been dealing with his own feelings of inadequacy and lack of ability compared to Miro, and he didn’t really get to settle matters with Nighteye before the latter passed on, so he needed to resolve his emotional conflict somehow, and Miro was the only one he could actually talk to about it.
It’s ironic because of Miro’s cluelessness in regards to the entire conflict of whom should be All might’s successor, but at the same time it’s extremely appropriate, since Miro’s basically never been consulted once by any of them in regards to him being the future Symbol of Peace, so he’s never been able to give his own 2 cents as to whom should be the one to succeed All Might. Him refusing the potential of OFA here just because it would leave Midoria in his current position (and arguably worse off given Midoria’s self-esteem issues) shows he would have been a great successor in the end, but also leaves Izuku with no choice but to try and become a better hero than Miro would, since his issues drive him to feel guilty for Miro losing his powers in the first place, and if Miro won’t take OFA to achieve his heroic potential, then Izuku has to be the one to succeed in becoming a better symbol for the both of them.
9)“HE HEARD IT”-At this point All Might’s having to face the fact that Midoria has a ‘serious’ martyr complex to him, born from his feeling of powerlessness and impotence in his childhood and early teens, and has developed a mind-set that drives him to save or help others with no regards to his own well-being. All Might’s similar views, and the state he’s been left in because of them- compounded by the recent death of Nighteye, one of the few people who tried to shake him out of his own self-sacrificing mind-set- means that he’s now having to find a way to teach Izuku to not be so self- sacrificial in his hero work, whilst also teaching him to be a greater hero than him.

Rising Covid-19 cases and boxing team doctor’s positive report lead to cycling, hockey camp’s indefinite postponement | More sports News
NEW DELHI: A sense of fear and anxiety has gripped athletes and sports administrators after certain recent developments at the NIS Patiala raised fresh questions about the Sports Authority of India’s (SAI) preparedness to resume sports activities and national camps in different disciplines across its various regional centres in the country. An embarrassing quarantine protocol breach by India’s two Olympic-bound boxers, Vikas Krishan and Satish Kumar, and Vikas’ training partner, Neeraj Goyat, at the NIS Patiala, which resulted in the management change at the top leading to the interim suspension of NIS’ executive director, Col. Raj Singh Bishnoi, followed by a team doctor associated with the boxing discipline testing positive for covid-19 infection – all these incidents have made athletes worried about their well-being and safety when reporting for the camps after over three months of lockdown. Similarly, the SAI, which has taken up the mantle of organising camps for returning athletes in the wake of the derecognition of 57 national sports federations (NSFs) by the Delhi High Court, too, has been walking a delicate tightrope in its bid to keep athletes mentally healthy and motivated during these uncertain pandemic times. While the SAI has been gradually opening up its facilities for camps according to its own ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ (SOPs) and guidelines issued by the ministry of home affairs (MHA) and the health and family welfare department (MoHFW), the rising number of covid-19 cases nationwide, fresh lockdowns imposed by various state governments to control the virus surge and recent incidents playing out at the NIS Patiala involving boxers, including doctor Amol Patil testing positive, has thrown a spanner in the SAI’s plans to resume camps in coming weeks at its regional facilities. To begin with, a national camp for the country’s premier cyclists, including India internationals Esow Alben, Ronaldo Singh and David Beckham among others, will not be organised now at the NIS campus amid growing fears of contracting the virus. The camp has been called off keeping the health and safety of cyclists in mind. The development has come in the backdrop of the boxing team’s doctor returning covid-19 positive. The camp, which was originally scheduled to begin in Imphal, was twice postponed (July 1 and July 10) due to the Cycling Federation of India’s (CFI) derecognition like all other 56 NSFs and the SAI’s reluctance to fund the camp. CFI looked to organise the camp at the Khuman Lampak stadium, which has a velodrome in its campus and a hostel as well, but the residential facility wasn’t made available for the cyclists’ stay by the local state administration. CFI was in the process of renting out a space for cyclists outside the campus, but then the derecognition happened. Imphal was originally chosen for the camp because the Manipuri capital fell under the ‘green zone’ demarcation (not affected by covid-19). The camp was later rescheduled for the Wednesday (July 15) start at the NIS, which the SAI agreed to fund as well, but the cyclists stayed put in their respective cities because there wasn’t any clear communication to report for the camp either from the SAI or the CFI. But, after the covid-19 case on the campus, the SAI looked in no mood to take the risk of giving a go-ahead to any fresh camp, that too, when it’s not for the Tokyo Olympic-bound athletes. The SAI, it’s been learnt, has decided to postpone the conduct of the cycling camp for now. The sports body, which is looking for a course correction at the NIS – be it revisiting its quarantine protocols or overhauling the institute’ administration — doesn’t wish to put the athletes’ lives at risk. Similarly, the CFI, too, fears for the well-being of its cyclists and doesn’t want a camp in Patiala. It doesn’t see any logic in making its elite cyclists to travel from different cities all the way to the NIS and then put them under a 14-day quarantine period. Instead, the CFI wishes to start the camp at a much more logistically convenient Indira Gandhi Indoor (IGI) stadium’s cycling velodrome from August 15. CFI’s decision to say NO to the NIS was influenced by the covid-19 positive case on the campus. According to CFI’s chairman, Onkar Singh, while his core group riders in Imphal and Andaman have started training on a dedicated cycling track, the other core group members in Punjab and West Bengal are practicing on road tracks in the morning hours. The CFI will tell the cyclists to assemble in Delhi for the camp, stay quarantined for 14 days at the stadium’s residential facility and then start training at the refurbished velodrome. The CFI’s original plan was to send its cyclists to Germany in May for training-cum-competition tour before returning back to India in August after competing in the UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships in Cairo, Egypt from August 16-21. But then the world was struck by the deadly covid-19 and the subsequent lockdown ensued. It meant that the cyclists stayed put in their respective home cities and couldn’t practice. Also, the IGI velodrome was undergoing refurbishment before the lockdown and the work was expected to complete by August. But, with no labour available and construction activity halted, it would take some more months for the velodrome to become fully operational, which would mean another postponement in dates for the camp. “We are in a fix and don’t want to take chances going to Patiala when there has been a covid-19 case. It’s already too late to conduct the camp in Patiala. There’s no point calling the cyclists to the NIS and putting them under quarantine for the next 14 days and then taking them back to Delhi for the camp in August. It doesn’t make any sense. It would be better to organise the camp at the IGI and we hope that the velodrome becomes operational by then. If not, then at least the cyclists should be allowed to assemble at the IGI so that they can start some sort of practising. SAI should make the IGI’s residential facility for campers available to the cyclists. In the next 15-20 days, cyclists will need to come to Delhi. We also hope that the NSFs’ derecognition issue gets sorted out soon, so that the CFI can conduct the camp. My only concern is the safety and well-being of my athletes, that’s it,” Singh told TOI. Similarly, talking about the hockey camp for the Indian men’s and women’s teams, the SAI has informed that the camp will not resume on July 19 as planned at its regional centre in Bengaluru because of the rising number of covid-19 cases and the city going for another seven-day complete lockdown until July 22. Another reason, it’s been learnt, is the derecognition of Hockey India (HI) as an NSF by the court. The covid-19 case at the NIS, too, has played a part in the decision-making. The players had been sent home on a month-long break by the coaching staff as they remained confined to their hostel rooms at the Bengaluru centre for nearly three months due to the countrywide lockdown. The SAI may not be comfortable holding fresh camps at a time when the cases are rising and athletes themselves are afraid of resuming the training. It’s been learnt that the players haven’t been informed about the resumption of camps either by the SAI or HI. Since the HI is derecognised, the SAI has been directly contacting the athletes and organising camps. The men’s team chief coach, Graham Reid and scientific advisors Robin Arkell (men’s) and Wayne Lombard (women’s) are currently staying at the SAI centre. At the NIS, the Olympic-bound boxers and core probables, along with the coaching support staff, haven’t been retested for covid-19 after doctor Patil’s positive test report on Monday evening. It had been decided by the SAI to get the 11 boxers and Indian men’s team chief coach, CA Kuttappa and women’s team head coach, Mohammed Ali Qamar, among other support staff members, retested to rule out the possibility of any of them being infected by the virus. The men’s team boxers, including world No. 1 pugilist in the 52kg category, Amit Panghal and Ashish Kumar, among others, along with the coaching staff, were at the same quarantine facility where Patil was staying. The team members were quarantining at the STC boys’ hostel at the polo ground outside the campus. But, two days have passed, the boxers and coaches are still waiting for their samples to be collected.

I keep thinking about the Sports Festival in the khr mha crossover and I’m trying to decide who would win because the obvious choice is Hibari but it’s also incredibly in Hibari’s character to say fuck the race and decide to beat the shit out of the giant robots instead… basically either option of him breaking Bakugou’s ass or getting disqualified in the first round because he wanted to beat the robot’s ass is equally funny to me.
But beyond who wins the tenth Gen and go would bring so much chaos.
Spanner and Shoichi just flying to the end on a Moska. Tsuna diving down to give Izuku a lift over the chasm because good god that can’t be safe. The cavalry battle would be unhinged. Not to mention the 1 on 1 fights.
