Quirk: Knock down - Kendra is able to release wrecking balls on a chain, one from each palm, and use them however she likes. She can throw them as far as 8m. Because of her Quirk, she also has a lot more arm strength than the average person.

The wrecking balls themselves are roughly 2 feet in diameter and each weigh around 100kg/220lbs. I'm not the best at numbers so hopefully that doesn't sound too wack lol

As for her personality, Kendra is slightly immoral and loves destruction, but has managed to rescue many civilians and is considered a hero to some. She enjoys teasing who she fights and doesn't really takes things that seriously.

She gets injured a LOT but passes them off as minor inconveniences and has to be forced to heal up and rest.

Kendra likes travelling and playing sport.

✭ quirk description: It gives the user several abilities of the mythical kitsune (i.e: illusions, transformation, fire, etc.). These abilities do not show up all at once  at age 4, like usual, but rather every 4 years ending at age 40. They can show up in any order, but the user is always born with the ears, tail, and other features of a fox. At ages 32 and 40, the user will gain four tails, ending their Quirk maturity with nine tails. Still, there's a legend that if a user of the Kitsune Quirk gets severely wounded while protecting another, they will gain all nine tails at once. This hasn't been seen but the rumor has been passed down since the Kitsune Quirk emerged. The Quirk can be genetically passed on through offspring, meaning that if the user of the Kitsune quirk has children, there is a chance that one of them may have the exact same Quirk. With the features of a fox, the user also has the senses of a fox (heightened sight, hearing, smell, etc.).  ✭ quirk drawbacks: Overuse of illusions can cause the user to become lethargic. The user is not immune to being burned by their own flames. In addition, there is a starting 15 second cooloff for use of both aspects of the quirk.

When Yukina decided she wanted to be a hero, Hinata was incredibly supportive and helped her train. ✭ father (Fumihiro Okami): Fumihiro is, to Yukina, the best father she could ask for. He's supportive, understanding, and incredibly dedicated to his family. He was the one who sparked Yukina's love for cooking and baking and taught her how the kitchen works. ✭ older sister (Kaguya Okami, oldest): Kaguya and Yukina may annoy each other from time to time, but they are practically inseparable. In their words, they are a "nerd" and "loser" respectively. Despite the constant insulting, the two love each other (as much as siblings can). ✭ older brother (Tsukiyama Okami, middle): Tsukiyama is and has been one of Yukina's closest friends for a long time. They don't annoy each other as often as with Kaguya, but there is some bickering from time to time. Still, the two have been best friends since Yukina gained sentience. ✭ grandmother (Miyako Okami): The woman who started it all, Miyako is another huge inspiration for Yukina. She taught her how to stand up for others and the greater good, no matter what. Yukina was the third and last child of Hinata and Fumihiro Okami. As she was the only one of her siblings to have inherited the Kitsune Quirk from her mother and grandmother, she was heralded as the successor to the Fox Hero name by the public. At the time, her grandmother Miyako had retired from the hero business and had fully passed on the Fox Hero mantle to Hinata, who was still keeping the populations safe as Zenko, the second Fox Hero. Since she was old enough to understand heroics, Yukina had wanted to be a hero like her mom and grandmother. Despite being supportive of her goals, her parents warned her of the risks of becoming a hero. Yukina decided it was worth it and started training under her mother. When Yukina was nine, Hinata was attacked by the Hero Killer Stain, who decided not to kill her instantly. Instead he sliced off her left arm, leaving her to bleed out in an alleyway. The authorities arrived before the blood loss was fatal, but a full recovery took months. Yukina wasn't told about this until Hinata came home with a bionic arm attached to where her left arm was. she retired shortly after. Still, she kept training Yukina to use her powers to the best of her ability. Some time later, the 6/6 Incident, where people with Quirk mutations were massacred without reason, occurred. Yukina and her direct family weren't involved in the massacre, but three members of her extended family were. After that, Yukina vowed that as a pro, she would protect the innocent and ensure that nothing like that would ever happen again. ...and then the fic begins.

Hey y'all. I figured I'd let some of these ideas see the light of day. Perhaps one of you can make something of them.

A bit of disclaimer: The way "s/i" isn't the typical. A Self Insert is usually the author putting themselves as a character.

In the MHA Community this is usally done through projecting ones personality through an existing character (ex: Midoriya)

The way I use S/I is a either:

A: A OC with knowledge or awareness of MHA's canon in some form (visions, reincarnation, intution) These characters are usually made up from a collection of different people and experiences, rather than just my own personhood.

A Character like Seven fit this bill.

B: S/I but Ingrained. Aka a S/I that blends and adapts to the world of MHA, their past self is not as relevant (if it's brought up at all) however may play a role in their perspectives and world views.

A Character like Arachne fits this bill (for another post)

With that out of the way, let's start small and work our way up:

If you need reference, this is the girl seated next to Midoriya at Aldera, her quirk is pretty rad with the possibility of being better than Hellflame (because she seems to have fine control over the flame itself, becoming it). Of course she needs professional training first

I imagined them (her and Mido) here as friends who met halfway through middle school and have stuck together since.

Much like her quirk and namesake, Ryukka has a fiery disposition and doesn't take kindly to people* harassing her friend(s) (*read Bakugo)

She's one the only people at Aldera willing to stand up to him (her flames cause his quirk to overload)

As hinted at in her quote, she does get into UA and thanks to her and Midorya's study sessions (Quirk and academic wise) she gets in with high scores (beating out Bakugo's score in the Entrance Exam)
