Part 2! So I know making Tsuyu an artist was a lil’ odd, considering she shows no interest in the stuff, but a lot of the MHA characters don’t really feature their hobbies or interests, and we just assume their likes and dislikes based off of their quirks and all of that.. So, I took a few creative liberties!

Seat 3: Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu is the class’ braincell holder. It is not Momo, it is not Tenya, it is Tsuyu. She’s the one people trust to make logical and sound decisions and drag them back from doing something abysmally stupid. Tsuyu has the ability to talk their way out of the most uncomfortable situations and does NOT hesitate to flip the switch when their classmates are in trouble.

Seat 4: Tenya Iida

Most would think Tenya the rule follower, and while true to some extent, the boy also comes with his own set of issues: anger issues, mainly. His ability to coral the class into falling in line is absolutely cherished, but he is banned from getting into confrontations for the class, they leave that role to Izuku. But either way, Tenya likes to do sudoku and dominate in checkers.

rereading Oumagadoki Zoo oneshot!

Unfortunately, because I am this tweet:

I will drawing comparisons of it to bnha. specifically, Shigaraki and the League, because the parallels are pretty obvious.

If you haven't heard of the oneshot Oumagadoki Zoo before, it's one of Horikoshi's earlier works, a oneshot that became his first serialized manga. Premise of both the manga and the oneshot is the same: Aoi Hana, a high school girl, applies to work at a zoo, only to discover too late the zoo is a magical one where the animals can turn into humans, while the zoo director, Shiina, is a human cursed to look like a rabbit-man; she then gets dragged along into crazy adventure as the director attempts to break his curse.

The oneshot is much less zany-comedic in tone, with Shiina a more serious and ambitious character and leader, but still deeply caring for his friends, who are all outcasts animals he helped. I've compared Serialized Manga Shiina with Shigaraki before; but I've always found Oneshot Shiina to be even more similar, especially with later series Shigaraki.

In the oneshot, the first mission we see Shiina and his team go on is to rescue a talking alligator that's been captured and smuggled by people wearing skull-masks. Obviously these guys are not the good guys. They acknowledge that the talking alligator might as well be considered a person, but are still keeping him caged and ready to be sell him.

So I always wondered if they were the basis of the bnha's CRC - skull-mask wearing criminals who looks down on Spinner, a person whose quirk make him looks like a lizard. But this time they're even more evil.

In the manga, it's due to Shiina's cursed magic powers that allows the animals to turn into human form; in the oneshot, however, the animals are born with magical energies that transforms them into human form - and Shiina is only someone who finds and gathers them in order to harvest their magical energy to break his curse.

If this sounds kinda selfish, it is - which Shiina acknowledges. Shiina didn't save the talking alligator out of the goodness of his heart - he needed the alligator's magical energy, and says so bluntly.

But when Hana accuses Shiina of using the animals to his own ends, Uwabami, a snake woman, says no, all the animals are here of their own free will.

The explanation Uwabami then gives Hana about why they stay with Shiina, why they follow him, actually mirrors Spinner's last dialogue with Deku on bnha a lot:

Uwabami describes the animals that have magical energy as beings whose forms have bent away from normal and turned 'grotesque'. In Japanese, the word she uses is 'igyou', which is the same word used to describe people like Spinner - translated as 'heteromorphs' in MHA. Uwabami implies that these 'grotesque' animals had suffered, had stood out with negative consequences, and that was how Shiina was able to find them. Similarly, Spinner says that he was oppressed for being a heteromorph, for having a quirk that altered his appearance.

The context is of course different, but I think the underlying feeling is still the same. Uwabami explains Shiina and the animals' situations are similar, that in helping Shiina break his curse, the issue of the animals' magical grotesque forms may also be solved as well. Shiina's mission aligns with their desires as well. In Spinner's case, Shigaraki told the League that he'll destroy everything, which at first also seemed like it was his specific dream; but within that destruction is also promised the changes and goals each of the League wants - Shigaraki represented him.

For the animals of Shiina's zoo, they were never able to fit in, they were unneeded and unwanted - and yet Shiina would still consider them comrade and friends, and gathered them together. Much like Shigaraki did for the League: he gave someone like Spinner a dream, a chance to be someone. Gave a bunch of strays, the dregs of society, a place to be.

So both Shiina and Shigaraki - leaders loved and respected by their friends so much that those friends - Uwabami and Spinner - are both willing to so straightforwardly spill out their hearts and feelings to near strangers.

Summary: Lucifer is a first year at U.A. and in Class 1-A. High and from a family of high society. He is the illegitimate child of Walter Morningstar (Pro Hero: Cyrus) and Ophelia Eveningsun. He is the youngest out of all his siblings and the most naturally talented.

While most of the family detests Lucifer and his quirks, his siblings on both sides of his family love and adore him.

Name: Alastor Boudreaux

Hero Name: Hunter

Vigilante Name: Radio Demon

Quirk: Wendigo/Radio Frequency

Summary: With his deer features and how his quirks affect him, Alastor has always been an outcast where he lived. This resulted in everyone around him mistreating him in one way or another. The only person he could count on was his mother.

At night he is a vigilante to rid the world of the scum or the Earth, but still wanting to be able to take care of his mother (and to have a cover) he is a 2nd year at U.A. high and in Class 2-A.

Alastor falls for Lucifer when he found out about not just Alastor's secret identity but also everything that he had been hiding from everyone else and still accepted him.

Hero Name: The Man

Age: 15

Quirk: Holy Blessing

Summary: Is first year at U.A. and in Class1- B. He is always in competition with Lucifer and always has been ever since they were children. It didn't help that their families were always at odds.

Adam fell in love with Lucifer when they were children but will never admit it to anyone besides his best friend.

Name: Victor Petrov

Villain Name: Vox

Age: 28

Quirk: Electrokinesis

Summary: Victor wanted to change his life but also get revenge on the people who made his life a living hell. This led him down a dark path and to form the well-known villain team The Vees.

He fell for Lucifer during The Vees' attack on U.A. when they were fighting one on one.

Name: Anothny Dobre

Hero Name: Doesn't have one yet

Vigilante Name: Angel Dust

Age: 16

Quirk: Spider

Summary: Grew up in a family of criminals but broke away from that life once he met Lucifer and the other students of U.A. With the help of them, Anothny wants to make up for all the bad he's done in his life.

Anothny fell for Lucifer when they first met, and he inspired him to take charge of his life.

Name: Lilith Giordano

Hero Name: Siren

Age: 25

Quirk: Siren Song

Summary: Works at her family's agency with her younger brother and hopes to one day have an agency of her own. Lilith is the number 10 Pro Hero in Japan and inspires women to peruse careers most people would consider were for men only.

Lilith fell for Lucifer when he came to work at her family's agency for internships and he saw her more than just a pretty face and sex appeal.

Name: Eve Athanasiou

Hero Name: Artemis

Quirk: Marksmen/Nature Control

Summary: Eve is a naturally gifted young lady and always praised for her talents. But with that praise comes a lot of pressure on her to be the best. She is the youngest in her class at Seiai Academy.

Eve fell for Lucifer during the Provisional Licensing Exams when he encouraged her and saw her for more than her gifts.

Name: Peter Giordano

Hero Name: Saint Peter

Age: 19

Quirk: Angelic Song

Summary: Peter works at his family's agency with his older sister, Lilith, and is a part of a wonder duo with her. Hopes to one day become a teacher at one of the many hero schools in the world.

Fell for Lucifer during his time at his family's agency during his internship and thinks he is the most adorable thing he's ever seen.

This story is heavely based on one of my OC, it mentions kidnapping, suicide, bullying, sex, yander behavior and abuse. Please be warned this is little more graphic compared to my other storys. Also the time line for the story is a little different when compared to the actual MHA, the characters are all in college vs being in hight school. (Set as a pre... they're in middle school)

        Midoriya stood watching over the roof tops edge, he was leaning with his back against the railing and his feet teetering on the ledge. He took a deep breath and slowly released it, allowing the wind to blow his hair.  He had been up there so many times before but for the first time in his life, he stood there with no intent of jumping. He watched the clouds and the kids below who only pointed up and laughed at him. He has had so many thoughts of this ledge being his end but yet "IZUKU HIII" He was startled by his sudden name called but he smiled at the familiar voice. "Y/N!! HII" He held a face of pure excitement, as he looked behind him to see her smiling face. A transfer student that showed up mysteriously from America. She was outcast-ed for many reason, coming into middle school with no friends would to that to ya, not to mention the rumor of her being quirk less left her basically alone. That was until she ran into Izuku Midoriya, who she had quickly made friends with, seeing him on a roof top in the city... she watched as the #1 hero leaped from the same area. Alas. she brought him instant comfort and safety, however he was concerned for her already bad reputation and did not want to tarnishes it anymore by having the other student see them together. "Y-Y/N you cant call out to me so openly! people are gonna hear you" He warned, hoping back over the railing and standing across the roof top from her. "Oh why not? scared to be seen with me?? Huh the transfer?" She teased him, taking a couple steps closer to him.  "N-no that isn't it! I just... you don't want them to catch you with me!" He points down below to the other teens who where walking around in similar uniforms. They where clearly their classmates, and the ones who bulled Izuku. "If they see you with me, they'll tease you even more" He looked down shamefully, he held tears in his eyes refusing to look at her. She huffed, walking up to him and gently cupping his face. "I'm not ashamed of you Izuku..." She sighed lifting his face to look at her..."You're my best friend Izuku, please, let me be your hero" She used her free hand to wipe his tears,  "y-you don't care if they make fun of you?" His eyes met hers and a slight sparkle shown in them. He had fallen in love with her since she first spoke to him... her courage, her quirk, her everything. "I'll just kick their asses,  because hero protect other! so lets protect each-other!" She called holding out her fist for him to hit. He met her and smiled brightly, no one has ever offered to protect like she has. She was truly extortionary. "YEAH! W-we can protect each other!" They both giggled at each-other, "Now lets head home!" She started her way towards the rooftop door, "Alright!" Izuku quickly grabbed his things and ran to follow her.

         As they walked out the school grounds they gained glances from other students, trying to figure out why in the hell she was walking with him. Even though they've been friends for so long, Izuku did his best to keep it under warps. Izuku was glancing around and his anxiety was rocketing through the roof, but he took one glance at her and felt at peace. His smile returned and he puffed his chest out the slightest. They continued walking, chatting about an anime they've both been watching. As they walked the sidewalk, Y/N took a notice to the group of kids that seemed to linger behind them.  They where whispering rather loudly about them "Look at useless Deku" one spoke.... "She's wasting her time". Y/N felt irked, "HEY if you got something to say, say it with your chest" She huffed, turning around to confront the group.  The teens snickered, "Why are you walking with that nerd?" "Your wasting your time by talking to him, he quirk less and useless. No better than trash" They laughed at them "You should find someone better to hang out with" Y/n only hummed at them, "You say that but are you any different?" She asked, her head tilting to the side. "Well, for starters I have a badass quirk" He smirked, the other boys chuckled in agreement. "Uhm.. but a quirk is only as useful as it's holder, and what im seeing right now... isn't very impressive" She sighed crossing her arms and glancing at Izuku, she had a disappointed face. He couldn't help but giggle at her. The bully face faded into a scowl, "W-What the hell did you say to me?" His voice only raised in volume as his anger increased, he was not used to having anyone speak to him this way. "IM BETTER THAN HIM" He roared, he activated his quirk which allowed him to stretch his arm out. "Prove it then" she spoke, her tone hard... she watched as he moved towards her, "I'LL PROVE IT BY BEATING YOUR ASS" He made a running movement at her, his followers watched with wide eyes, this was the first time they had seen their leader get challenged like this. Y/N took a stance... "Lets see it then" He lunged at her, making an attempted to punch hier... The others muttered... thinking of how this battle could result. Y/N dodged, grabbing his arm and twisting her hips to flip him over her shoulder. "H AHA TO SLOW" She cackled as his head smacked into the ground. He let out a groan, his arm flying back into its original size. "ACK" He screamed as pain flooded his senses. The others gasped at how fast he had gotten taken down. They where scared... but moved quietly as to not be noticed by Y/N. Y/N stood over the bully... "Without using my quirk... you where beaten.... so quite talking out your ass" She told him off, hands on her hips and head shaking side to side. "should kill you for this" Still laying on the ground he was awestruck. Bakugo was the only person that ever scared him. "y-you got lucky! it was one shot! when I get up YOU'LL REGRET THIS" He strained to get up, he huffed and wheezed but his eyes went wide as both his arms where pinned by her shoes. She stood over him, both his hands pinned, she lifted her hand and brought it down right onto his face, breaking his nose. He laid still for a moment before she stepped off him, blood began dripping down his face, rolling on his side he began to tear up. Everyone stood shook, the bullys poise was to scared to move, they watched as their leader rolled in pain. Y/N huffed, "You talk shit but you're no better...if I hear you talk bad on him, you're gonna get it ten times worst. As human beings you should be ashamed and know that if truly believe you're above someone then you're probably under them" The others shook in fear, they watched as she moved away from the body, she glanced back at him as he snarled from the ground... he couldn't move even if he wanted to... his nose was in to much pain. His eyes held nothing but rage and hated.... "Keep looking at me with those eyes.... I love the attention" 

Y/N huffed turning and taking Izukus hands "Lets go home" He followed silently, amazed by her strength and ability to take down such a force with ease. He was snapped out of his daze when he felt her warm hand envelop his. He blushed at the touch, his worry taking over...  "Y-Y/n are you okay!? hurt anywhere?" He gasped, frantically checking her for any injuries. Y/n blushed softly at his fear... her heart fluttering at his antics. She smiled at him before an idea... bold and daring piped into her mine. "y-you know, my lips kinda hurt," She glanced away "M-maybe a kiss?" She was beat red and pointed to her lips, "Just a small one" Her eyes winded when his arms started flailing. "AH A k-kiss as in you w-want my lips and your lips... pressing ohh god" He was flush red... shaking at her request. "h-hey Izu,.. you don't have hmm" She gasped as his lips crashed into her, she was quick to get over her stunned state and raised her hands to hold his face. He let out  soft moan as he also raised his hands to meet her face. They connected perfectly, enjoying their time for a few more moments before they gently separated.  Izuku quickly covered his face mouth, eyes wide and face flushed... he stared into Y/n's eyes who held nothing but love and asmiration while looking at him. "Date me?" She blurted out... he was slightly taken back... he felt undeserving of a girl such as Y/n, she was perfect  and he was merely a deku... but if the world was offering him her.... then surly he was allowed to be selfish for one.... he was allowed to hold her close and claim her. "YES! i uh yes, i'd love to date you!" He smiled brightly at her, "REALLY" both where giddy, giggling at one an others actions. Y/n gasped softly as Izuku dove into a hug... burring his head in her chest and holding her waist tightly. She greatly returned the hold and gently began petting her hair. "mmm" Izuku made a noise of approval of her touch, almost like a purr. Having been friends for over a year now... being here felt natural, now as they returned to school tomorrow, they would no longer stand as best friends protecting each-other but rather lovers who had taken a vowel and stand true to it. "hey... Izuku" Y/n hummed, he took a glance up at her, still a red face and bright smile... "Let’s head home" he nodded his head, gently removing himself from her hold. He had never felt for safe, so appreciated, so loved. "right!"

Heyy so I was wondering if u could write a story about katsuki bakugou x reader if yes then it’s basically that she is new and he tries to tell her he’s the boss but she doesn’t care and then at some point they meet alone in the park or school idk and she has like separatet parents and it’s really difficult for her so that’s why she’s so cold(persenality) so he tells her about his parents and Val bla bla they like go like each other and talk in school often but they tease each other and then they meet at home and cuddle together

BNHA/MHA - Bakugou With a Cold Classmate With Separated Parents

“Hey, fresh meat,” a gravelly voice, obnoxiously loud for its close proximity, came from in front of you. You looked up from your phone to see a boy burning holes in your skull with a dangerous glare. Judging from his uniform (quite disheveled, you noted, as if he didn’t know how to dress himself properly), he was a classmate of yours.

“Are you talking to me?” You deadpanned.

He blinked dumbly, as if he wasn’t expecting such a bland response. But the fire in his eyes only extinguished for a moment. He slammed his hands on your desk, his glare somehow even more powerful than before.

“Don’t get mouthy with me,” he snapped. “I’m the boss around here. Bakugou. Me. Ya hear?”

You looked him up and down, marking again his shoddy appearance. One of your eyebrows perked up for half a second judgmentally. You just shrugged, sighing as you turned back to your phone.

“You think you can just ignore me?!” You didn’t think his voice could get any louder, but apparently you were wrong. You flinched at the noise, but you didn’t bother to look up at him; instead, you pulled out your headphones and cranked the volume.

You could hear him yelling some more, but your music was too loud for you to discern what he was actually saying. Eventually you saw him leave your periphery, which you correctly assumed was a sign that class was starting.

You had forgotten the encounter as soon as it ended, but the boy didn’t. While you focused on jotting down notes and asking questions, he was sending furtive glances your way, both outraged and baffled at your treatment of him. You were a puzzle, that was for sure, but not one that he wanted to solve. No, he was much more interested in championing you. You’d be bending at his will just like the others, he told himself, in no time at all.

After classes were done for the day, Bakugou was walking the grounds, lost in thought. He was trying to determine the best way to get through to you. He’d need to push you, yes, but how? He chewed his cheek thoughtfully, tossing a few ideas around.

A smirk came to his lips when he noticed a familiar figure perched on a low wall along the walkway. It was as if fate wanted this. 

“Yo, fresh meat,” he growled, trying to keep the sadistic pleasure out of his voice.

You turned around, your blank expression unchanging. That irked him. Why weren’t you afraid of him? He had to try harder.

“Why are you sitting all alone? Are you an outcast already?”

You shrugged, turning off your phone and putting it in your pocket. “I sure hope not. I’m just trying to get a moment of peace.”

He was caught off guard again by your nonchalance. “From what?”

“My parents. They’re separated,” you sighed, shoulders slumping. “They fight a lot. It’s… I dunno. It’s just hard.”

The need to dominate wavered. Without thinking, Bakugou spoke in a normal volume. “Yours too, huh? My parents suck ass.”

He wasn’t sure what made him say that. Nor what made him take a seat next to you, letting you vent while he listened patiently.

It was after that strange, spontaneous encounter that you became friends. Bakugou reluctantly abandoned his original goal, telling himself that you were enough of a loser already that he didn’t need to conquer you. Of course, he teased you about this relentlessly, and secretly took satisfaction in your teasing back. 

One day, you were engaged in your usual banter in the dormitory common room, bouncing between creatively insulting each other and solving math problems. When your homework was done, you were able to focus your full attention on teasing.

“No way a girl would ever even go near you,” you snorted.

“Girls without spines, maybe. I’m only interested in ballsy girls anyway.”

“And what about me? Do I have balls?”

“I don’t know, do you?”

Taking this as an invitation, you stood up from the armchair you were sitting in and plopped yourself down right next to Bakugou, so close that your shoulders were pressed together.

Amused by the subtle pinkness that came to his cheeks, you leaned against him. Taking this as a challenge (he had a tendency to make everything a competition, you noticed), he wrapped both of his arms around you and reclined on the couch. You were laying on top of him, your chin planted on his chest as you looked up at him. The mischievous glint in your eye was met with an equally sly look in Bakugou’s eyes.

“Well? Am I ‘ballsy’?”

“Shut up,” Bakugou guffawed, pulling your head so you were laying properly against him. 

You sighed, finding the position rather comforting, especially after all that homework. The way his sinewy arms seemed to fit perfectly around your waist brought a little smile to your (and Bakugou’s, though you couldn’t see it) face. The faint smell of his cologne filled your nose, and you closed your eyes to hone in on the scent. 

Bakugou stared at the top of your head. He could feel your chest expanding and deflating languidly as you relaxed, and he found himself following your example. With a little smirk he closed his eyes, grateful that he had chosen to befriend and not break you.

The creative mind really is a beautiful thing sometimes.

Like, I started writing a fic a few months ago about 1A competing against another class as part of an inter-school event.

Since then, the class has become an all girl class, since I wanted to write some strong and interesting female characters. And now the class includes some with disabilities, one trans character, two who are deep in a “forbidden” romance because of their quirks’ natures being opposites; and as of a few days ago two of the students are now adoptive sisters who used to be outcasts in their respective homes due to their quirks.

Their adoptive moms are actually their chaperoning professors too, who used to be criminals now turned heroes and one of them is a Nigerian doctor who trained with All Might decades ago while they were both in the US.

Like, wtf brain calm down! It’s been two months! Seriously though the creative mind is beautiful and never ceases to amaze!

Even though it’s made me rewrite this fic 10+ times, lol!

I love it! Your fic sounds like a lot of fun to be honest. The MHA universe is a great playground for ideas, almost as great as RWBY.

Like my OC, Izumi started off as a below-average student, lost her (lousy) parents due to the League, fell in love with Tsuyu and on a student exchange trip to Seattle met two heroes she's admired all her life and was adopted by them and as a result now has a younger sister.

One of them even went back to Japan with her and became the Mama Bear for all the 1-A girls and thanks to her training, Izumi is now just behind Izuku and Bakugo.

Oh, and Todoroki came out as a trans girl, fell in love with Momo, Mina and Toru fell in love too and Bakugo and Kirishima look like they're headed that way as well.

And to top it all off, it's still roughly canon-compliant lol.

Fic is FUN and that's what it should be. It's great if other people like it but the most important thing is that if YOU like it.

A Silent Voice its an anime movie based on a manga of the same name that, while many might look it like a romance movie, its mostly about redemption, overcoming trauma and social anxiety, facing and living with your past, and the true meaning of friendship.

I was impressed with how they handled the trauma and agnst parts to the point that they are relatable and make the characters feel human and realistic especially from the trauma victim's point, like how Shoya looked at everyone with an X on their faces. And i found the sign language interesting, even if its the japanese sign language.

The hardest parts for me to watch were the bullying scenes, who am i kidding no one likes to see a child go through that, even in movies. And some kids can be that cruel in real life too, and i know because i have an aunt and uncle who were teachers and were relieved when they retired since let me tell you their students were the hardest to handle, one even stabed my aunt in the hand with a pencil.

And it also bothers me that the teacher didnt even did something to stop the bullying almost as if he didnt notice or wasnt part of his job, it even reminded me of the middle school teacher of Izuku Midoriya from MHA, only that there it was a bit worse.

The thing that hooked me in my mind the most was the friendship part of the film. Especially the former friendship between Shoya Ishida, Kazuki Shimada, and Keisuke Hirose. These three were the balanced trio: the Daredevil, The Carefree guy, and the Comic Relief. And were the main bullies of Shoko Nishimiya. But then things took a twist when Shoko's bullying was brought up by the teacher and the people who Ishida thought of as his best friends put the blame on him in order to save themselves from punishment due to apathy, cowardice and fear, and acted as if they were never his friends to the point that they even bullied him and turned him into a complete outcast and loner, with Kazuki being his main bully, in fact he makes the most appearances than Hirose. This character hooked me the most, who knew a star student and carefree guy could turn out to be so cold, cruel and blind to his faults, like in his mind he didnt do anything wrong. Talk about trials and bad situations showing someone's true colors. From my pov, the bullying he and Hirose put Ishida through was even worse than the one Shoko went through. And even in Middle School he still made his life difficult by telling everyone of his bullying and left him with absolutely no friends at all, making him drown even more in his trauma, loneliness, and guilt over his past actions and their consequences.

It also made him wonder what friendship even was because he didnt know what that was anymore after he lost all hope of reconnecting with his old friends. He explained that he only understood them because they always did what he thought they would and wanted them to do, but after that and his changed thoughts and feelings he doenst even understand them anymore, especially after learning from Naoka that they rescued him from the river but only because it was the right thing to do rather than wanting to make up with him, especially because they didnt seem to change after that and even told Naoka to not tell Ishida and mind her own business.

Naoka is what many would say "the love rival" in this film due to her one sided love for Ishida and jealousy towards Shoko and seeing her as a threat to her feelings for him, even putting the blame of what happened to him on her and that if she had never rattled them out or even went to their school Ishida wouldnt have gone through that hell and lost his friends. They called it one sided because of her feelings towards him but without considering his feelings and choices and doing stuff more out of her own benefit and self guilt for what she did in Elementary school. Especially her desire for things to being back to what they were before, mostly Ishida's old friendships due to her (failed) attempts to try to make them meet up and reconciliate.

Honestly i admire her hope for those three making amends, but just like Ishida learned to face and be at peace with his past, she needs to learn and accept that things will never be like they were before and that some relationships cant easily or never be mended by "locking two people in a room". She cant rush or force those three to be friends again by setting encounters between them, this is a step they need to take on their own choice and will, and if they are even willing to make amends and are willing to change or not, just like she "forced" herself to change and made a peace truce with Shoko. And also follow the "advice" Shimada gave her to "mind her own business" because in a way their issues and broken relationship aren't something she should meddle with even if she only wants help, and he told her the same when he told her to keep quiet about them saving Ishida from the river so neither she got her (false) hopes too high or Ishida getting the wrong idea. Some people and things just never change.

While the films ends in the Cultural Festival and doesnt include the film arc, the manga shows what happened after that and ends in chapter 62 at the time for the Coming of Age Ceremony which its like a school reunion convention, and ends just as Ishida and Nishimiya open the door to their elementary school reunion ready to face their painful past , which may includ etheir old classmates and possibly teachers, together as equals. We dont know how that might had turned out, fans can only imagine what could had happened, the most probable, if the classmates had matured or moved on/ forgotten the past or not, that everyone could have stared at them for a moment in a bit of shock before minding their own business with their friends and family and maybe get a few stares or whispers or just being ignored. We dont know if he encountered or interacted with Kazuki( if he managed to come from studying in France and Ishida even asked for his email t see if he would come so he could talk to him) or Hirose, whom we saw a glimpse of him entering the room with his wife and child and whom we dont know much about due to his few appearances in the story (honestly i think he has more chances of having matured and changed than Kazuki and who knows if the river accident did affected him somehow) or if they are even worthy of his forgiveness, but even if he manages to confront, talk, and make peace with them or not its ok, because he gained even much more true friends than the ones he lost and wont have to worry of confronting his past and the challenges ahead by himself and living a lonely life ever again. And after a long timw since elementary school, he finally found peace, happiness, and love.

Yeah so you're probably wondering what that intentional mini shift was. Well... I hate to admit that it was during my early days of shifting and my despicable MHA phase... I had all these mfs in a room and said "I'll feel hands on my cheeks once I shift." And one night I layed there on my back, listening to a sub, and imagining someone holding my face like that. And soon enough I felt it and heard voices. THANK GOD I FREAKED AND CANCELED IT!!!!

I've always seen Hanta as someone who enjoys loose and baggy clothing that doesn't quite fit right, paired with a fuck-ton of accessories and trinkets that adorn his ears and face. I play Fumikage into the gothic style here, but really, they're also dark academia and techwear all the way. Once again, using they/them pronouns for Fumikage because of the artist pattern, with them being a creative writer and all.

Hanta's one of the class 2-A members you'd normally find in the commons or the kitchen nursing a glass of hot chocolate and smoking some expensive cigarette brand at 3am, someone you can speak to during long days and tiring nights. They're a fierce and unrelenting debate competitor and has one of the best communicative skills in the class.

Seat 14: Fumikage Tokoyami

Fumikage hangs out on trees and high places, often found lurking behind their classmates, writing poems and short stories from anything and everything that vaguely inspires them at the time. They are the person you'd love to have during literature projects or creative writing classes, and also the same person who'd mouth off random quotes from whatever book they read that week.

I don't think that in MHA or in fiction in general death of a character has to be a punishment, or a sign that the character was bad or not "worth" redemption. Death happens because life is a bitch. Oboro was a good guy, he died at 16 as he decided to protect the civilians before himself. (details in Vigilante) One second later he was crushed. He did nothing wrong, he even put other before himself, and that got him killed, and then Aizawa spends his carreer teaching future hero to protect themselves, not to be cocky, not to rely on their quirk to solve everything, etc.

Spoiler : the whole MHA manga + Vigilante spinoff.

Overhaul and Endeavor both got maimed to the point they cannot live up to their own ideals. They are not the persons they thought they were. And they had plenty of alone time to think about what they did. For such narcisists, I think it's a huge concequence that has more meaning than "bad guy dead". Endeavor's family still help him, but we had a lot of pages showing us how he perfectly knows and remember what he did, and that he doesn't deserve their forgiveness. He's suffering every freking second.

The abused kids who died are also those who, as adults, commited mass murder. If they lived, they would not have been free, and they would not have win what they craved the most : acceptation. Toga was eventually accepted as who she is by Ochako, and it made her genuinly happy, but it was too late. She even said earlyer in the story that it was too late for her or something like that. Spinner lived, he get to tell their story, but he's alone and an outcast AGAIN. Dabi lived, but we don't know if he's going to wake up, and if he does, he won't have a peaceful life or a normal family...

Horikoshi loves Naruto, was inspired by Naruto, but he decided to do something brave : actual definitive consequences, and dead people mostly don't come back, and if they do, they are never going to be the same. Also the super vilain who kidnapped children, tortured them, brainwashed them, made soldiers out of them, don't get to live peacefully in the village as a quirky neighboor (yes, I'm talking about Orochimaru/AFO).

And All Might is not idealized either, he's a walking disaster, really out of touch, he fails multiple times to be the man he WANTS to be. Nezu is shown as having sadistic and manipulative tendencies. Which is normal because he's the chief of Child Soldier High School. Nezu and All Might are not getting the third Hokage treatment.

I need to talk about Oboro again... Aizawa and Yadama say that he's most prominent trait, as a person, was that he wanted to protect everyone. This is what he did as a hero student, got him killed, not because he deserved it, because life is cruel. And then he got turned into a nomu, and this trait was kept to make him a bodyguard. And then, he died trying to protect Tomura. Just before that, he also saved Yamada and Aizawa last minute because a bit of Oboro was still in there. He did all the right things, he checked all the boxes, to have his redemption arc, but all he got was another death. Because we are not in a random shonen, we are in MHA, and life is cruel, and people don't die because they are bad persons, or because it's convenient to the plot. People are not forgotten either, so many characters got to complete their arc and have some sort of evolution during the war ! Even the frightened grandma from Tomura's flashback got a satisfying and meaningful ending !

In stories or in real life, death is mostly... meaningless. Everybody dies, not just villains, it's not special. BUT In stories, you can use death as a narration tool, and make characters die at the perfect moment. In real life, for death to have some sort of meaning, the living need to work really hard. And Horikoshi sure is making the surviving character work hard ! Ochako creates a charity to help kids like Toga. It won't make Toga come back, but it helps the living, it gives some sort of meaning and goals in a time where nothing makes sense.

Toga died giving blood to save a life, she saved one person, but she still killed dozens, and the persons she killed are not coming back to life just because she eventually sacrificed herself. Again, this is not Naruto, the villain cannot bring everybody back to life because he has regrets after having a moving talk with a hero.

AFO died vulnerable and naked while yelling about his ego trip.

Tomura died in a way AFO could not come back, he destroyed everything.

I think people have talked at length about the fact that bnha ended up basically being super pro-cop and delivered nothing on its narrative critiquing hero society. but one thing I haven't seen commentary on yet is how bizarre the narrative on abuse is. bnha is a series where abusive father figures (e.g. endeavor, overhaul, shigaraki's father) and neglectful parents (e.g. toga's family) have been the origin for marginalization of children and, in the cases of the league, their eventual descent into actual crime and villainy. yet the single most prominent abusive father figure of the series (endeavor) got a redemption arc, while the second-most prominent abusive father (overhaul) got to survive. yet the children who suffered abuse (toga, shigaraki, touya) were not worthy of redemption nor even survival. it has very bleak implications on who gets a second chance in life and who doesn't. this is possibly the worst narrative on childhood abuse I have ever consumed btw lol

Origins info (as in creating origins) : I made the character to mess with a bakugou bot I had found, his story was originally meant to be an antihero turned hero but instead, as I made the story switch to him and shigiraki interacting, it just became like a protective cryptic villian kind of thing. I messed around with some shigiraki bots, trying to figure out how I entirely wanted vortex to be, and his story origin. One thing I liked however is one where I had him speak through rhymes, and when he didn’t he repeated things often(usually twice/three times). His ‘immune to disintegration abilties’ came from the fact that- when the bakugou bot was playing as shigiraki, shigiraki kept patting Vortex or touching him, never specified with all his fingers or not so I just assumed he was, so that’s where that kinda came in- also I had him dance with shigiraki as a thing vortex can do with his portals is a puppeteer kind of thing where he can put portals around someone’s wrists/ankles and make them move however he pleases. I also created another oc due to a bakugou bot but I’ll get into that guy on a later date. I might get myself caught up in MHA lore just so I can add him into the story somehow, cause I think he’d have good potential somewhat, but he’ll also be my oc just in another universe with different origins and such.

MHA universe origins (as in story) : Since portals are useful and could be powerful in some ways, I had the thought of his parents wanting him to go to the UA school, and went with that, he originally became a vigilante at first before joining the league due to a kidnapping (by shigiraki) where he was forced to join but quickly enjoyed being in the league.

My own universe origins : He comes from an outcasted group of people (like a society type of people) that used portals to get around, most of these people had markings on their skin signifying how much they could use their portals before they had to rest for the marks to appear again (The marks would fade one by one the more the portals were used.), that’s all I’ve thought of for now.

Design notes :

The mask is based off of a Roblox mask I have which looks like a spider almost but without the fangs and tiny arm thingies, his original design had orange pants and didn’t have a corset or bands around his arms but I later changed it, his mask’s face moves with his expressions and he can also move his masks tiny little arm thingies, he’s also just tall(idk-)

What I’ll use him for : Probably just another oc, he’ll have a story and might be involved in a big fanfic I’m planning on making about all of my main ocs (ao3 - Hyperlinks_Constellations)

How does he act? : Gideon from once upon a witchlight with a bit of Ryan from Daycare

Miscellaneous : I don’t plan on getting INTO Mha but I do plan on catching myself up with the lore briefly and maybe making a universe with him and the villians as teens, I’m not sure though. I’m still going to use this character with MHA bots and likely other bots aswell. The two eyes were a random descision kind of in reference to their mask but also just because I had this idea that he could spawn portals with his eyes aswell (he normally spawns them with his hands (making a circle lol))

𝑲𝒊 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒓𝒊, a 17-year-old girl marked by tragedy, survives the devastation left in the wake of her mother's infamous deeds. The tragedy of Aoyama

You know with the newest chapter leak it's really lead me to a sad conclusion about aoyama. This boy has most likely been alone his entire life. Those who are quirkless or even just having a mutagenic quirk instantly makes you an outcast in the world of MHA. We saw it episode one with the deku explaining how not all men are created equal and how horrible life is for those lacking powers, even for a small child for godsake. Being quirkless makes you the worlds punching bag by default and the 80% of people who do have the privilege of being born with a quirk people aren't taught to be sympathetic. They're practically taught they're superior. Cut to the few scenes we've ever seen a young aoyama with the first having him beg his parents as to why he was so different and in the latest chapter (despite being untranslated) it's obviously implied he was heavily ostracized and beaten by his classmates for a lack of a quirk. Going by how deku's life was up until high school I doubt anyone wanted to befriend the quirkless aoyama. At some undetermined point yet unrevealed he receives his quirk via a deal with the devil courtesy of his parents. (I'm debating if it was 100% for the sake of making their child happy or trying to avoid the shame of having a quirkless child but that's a whole 'nother topic). But I doubt this made his life any better besides now at least having the bare minimum to blend into society. Now that he has this power it's come at a high cost. One of them obviously being any form of normal social interaction. Now that he's linked to one of the biggest villains in the world he can never get to close to his peers despite now finally having a quirk. And now he probably can't even fully interact normally with his parents again because there is always the underlying factor of aoyama having to preform his new role well or they will all die. And that his parents got him into this situation. It's stated in the manga that he never goes out of his way to interact with anyone and now with the traitor/AFO reveal it makes sense why he didn't/couldn't. He couldn't risk his mask slipping for a second or he'd jeopardize both his family and his friends/classmates. But at the same time the sad thing is is that he's never had anyone in 1-A or in general reach out for him. He gets spoken over a lot, relegated to the background and generally ignored a lot with a lot of his stand out moments being chalked up to "oh he's being weird again". He doesn't seem to have anyone he's particularly close with or seen hanging out with. HELL he doesn't even eat in the cafeteria with everyone else he eats alone in the classroom when everyone else is gone. The fact that aoyama both as a person in the world of MHA and as a character has always been ignored as a whole has always made me deeply sad since I started MHA years ago. And now with this reveal I can only hope something is made of him and someone (most likely deku) will finally reach out to him and be there for him. This was a long ass rant my god but I had to get it out. In summary? I have intense feelings rn and I firmly believe that aoyama needs a goddamn hug. :((( I desperately hope he can get saved and not go out like lady nagant.
