uhhh huh can u share some MFP headcanons? 👉👈 idk really if u did it before but 🤲

(Originally, I wanted to make a doodle for all my headcanons, but I’m not in the best place mentally to draw all of them because there is a LOT of them. So enjoy my reference sheet for Pedro/Vigilante and some sketches! The rest will be written so be aware: THIS IS A LONG POST!)

And an obvious SPOILER ALERT if you haven’t played the game!

Headcanons for Vigilante:

Vigilante’s name is Pedro

He was 19 at the time of the Incident, and is 24 at the time of the game

Trans and aroace

Selective mute but he can talk more freely with his siblings, and he knows sign language

Started to see Pedro the banana after he received an entire crate of banana on the head when he was a kid

Has sick cooking skills

Wanted to be a chef or a cook, but he wasn’t born in the right family for that, so now he does Ophelia’s dirty work (not by choice)

He is a vegetarian (he walked in on Mitch slicing up someone for dinner and just noped the fuck out; he can't look at any kind of meat anymore without feeling sick)

He is a cat whisperer (can seemingly understand and talk with cats)

He learned parkour to get the farthest away from Ophelia (mostly self-taught, that lead to an occasional broken arm)

He needs glasses to read but usually doesn’t wear them until he needs them

Took ballet classes after losing a bet, and ended up loving it so much that he kept going

He sometimes wears a dress because it makes him feel fancy

When he REALLY doesn’t want to speak to anybody, he just... unties his hair and covers his face with it. It’s a clear enough message

After the Incident, he vanished

The last anyone saw of him was him slamming the door of his room, he never went back out

He snuck out the window and didn’t look back

He changed hairstyle when he ran away

He stayed away for 5 years until he heard another horrible story about his family that made him take action

He wiped out his memory by shoving a banana in his left ear (hence the blood)

Overall, he’s just a lovable crackhead who’s had enough

Headcanons for Ophelia:

She was 22 at the time of the Incident and 27 at the time of the game

She regularly used her brother as target practice

Even though she and Pedro barely got along, they still had their sweet siblings moments

She will never admit it, but she's been worried sick ever since he disappeared

Headcanons for Denny:

Ain’t got much to say about him (YET)

He was 16 at the time of the Incident and is 21 at the time of the game

He and Pedro were very close because Pedro was left to raise him alone after their mother's death (Mitch and Ophelia barely lifted a finger to help)

He is a coward but is a surprisingly good boss, all the bounty hunters under his command appreciate him

Headcanons for the family in general:

Mitch beat up the siblings regularly

Rose is the name of the siblings’ mother (based on the first song of the OST Requiem for Rose)

Pedro was the closest to her

Rose was killed by Mitch when he beat her up an umpteenth time

Repeat after me: MITCH IS A BITCH

Pedro suffered a lot from Rose’s death and often visits her grave

What is the Incident?

The Incident was a job on which all three siblings were involved

Mitch sent them to get rid of a rival gang causing problems to his weapon trafficking

Once at the gang’s place, Pedro just sighed and asked “Alright, who are we killing?”

Ophelia simply answered “Everyone.” before she and Denny burst in and started to kill effectively EVERYONE

Including innocent kids and people who had nothing to do with the gang’s business

Pedro could only stand there, horrorstruck

Until a kid ran up to him and begged for help

And Ophelia calmly said “Oops, missed one.” before cold-bloodedly shooting the kid at close range

And that was too much for Pedro

When they got back home, Pedro let out everything he had been holding back for years

Ophelia pointed out that he, too, had killed numerous people and they were probably innocent people in the bunch

And that was the last straw

Pedro simply went in his room and slammed the door behind him before sneaking out the window (cf above)

Miscellaneous headcanons:

In-game, the banana is the embodiment of Pedro’s old/true personality

Post-game, the banana is replaced by a version of Pedro without his jacket and whose eyes are constantly hidden by a dark mist

Only Pedro can see him

After the game story, Pedro settled in an apartment in a different city and lives off assassination job

The multiverse mess (with all my AUs) canonically happened but that’s another story

The MFP siblings are dressing up as characters from Showdown Bandit for Halloween!

Pedro's dressing up as Bandit, Ophelia as Miss Undertaker and Denny chose to be a grieve!

Denny propaganda:

"Okay TECHNICALLY, he's just dressing up as Santa and not actual Santa but it still counts in my heart, he deserves a place in the tournament :(

He's a coward (he's the boss of the chapter but he runs away as soon as he spots you) and he doesn't have a sleigh but he has an aircraft with a minigun/turret mounted on it, which is a lot cooler

He deserves some love because he's the only boss that hurts you in self-defense instead of attacking first
