It is helpful to pre-oil your hair 30 minutes prior to showering with coconut oil, coconut oil is the only oil proven to effectively enter the hair cuticle and can help protect against water damage. if you are going days without shampooing, spraying it with conditioning spray or oil on the shafts only is helpful. number three is small habits, dry your hair with a microfiber towel. keep shampoo only on the scalp and conditioner on the ends. squeeze out any excess water out prior to applying conditioner and let it sit for at least 2 minutes, longer if you can. use gentle hair ties and claw clips. put your hair in a protective style before bed. eat properly, get enough rest, and make sure you are hitting protein goals for biotin production. never brush your hair while it’s wet, and don’t over brush. use a leave in conditioner after washing, and avoid heat styling.

Mama Earth Oil Free Moisturiser With Apple Cider Vinegar comes in a rectangular white and green color box with all the information about the moisturiser printed on it. The moisturiser itself comes in a white and green color tiny tube with fewer information printed on it. It has a white twist open cap which closes tightly as well.
The packaging of the moisturiser is very average nothing attention grabbing and exciting according to me. But the tube is definitely travel friendly because its cute, tiny and can fit in smallest handbag.
The smell of the cream is very mild and fruity and it does not irritates my sensitive nose at all.
The cream is pure white in color and the texture is very smooth and thin just like a lotion. It feels very light on skin and gets absorbed into my skin in no time.
I take a very tiny amount like shown in the swatch picture below and dot it all over my face and massage it gently. I like how this moisturiser mattifies my skin without giving me a stretchy feel or something.
I apply it in the morning and evening and also before applying my makeup sometimes. It might suit all skin type people but for extremely dry skin it will not provide intense moisture like they need.
It is perfect moisturiser for oily skin in hot and humid weather. It also helps in drying out acne. Whenever I get any new pimple on my face, I apply a generous amount of this on just pimple and the next day the pimple dries out.
Therefore, I am definitely going to purchase the bigger tube of this cream once this is over. Also this 25ml tube will last for a long time because we just need the tiny amount of the product for the entire face.
Also I did not face any breakouts using this like I normally get using any other average moisturisers.
My face remains matte for good about 4 to 5 hours in air conditoning room but in an open environment I think it will not last more than 3 hours.

My Thoughts: I usually love Clinique products however Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream fell short for my expectations for the brand. Luckily I received a sample size from my January 2018 Play! by Sephora box. It came in a bright orange squeeze tube with a unique round shape applicator. I love that I don’t have to use my fingers for application, I just massage the product in with the round applicator. It helps a tiny bit with depuffing but I feel like it would work much better if it had a zamac tip instead of plastic.
The texture of Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream is white and thin cream. Its easily spreadable on the lid and under eye area. A little goes a long way so this small sample size has lasted me a long time, even though I use it every day. The lightweight cream works perfectly under makeup. But I mainly wear it at night once I take off my makeup. It does hydrate the skin pretty well. My disappointment is that it didn’t do anything for my dark circles. It did give me a temporary fresh look but it doesn’t last longer than 3 hours.
Would I purchase Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream? No because the results are only temporary, I can’t justify spending that much money for that reason.

Hello. This is a note for your future self, who is probably tearing out any semblance of a wave because it’s still frizzy after 5 months of buying and binning new hair products. Let’s do this! Curly Girl Method seems like something I shouldn't be partaking in so I've renamed it to the Wavy Woman Attempt.
After many minutes of research, I think I have high-porosity hair, because it floats on water and it feels kinda bumpy when I run my finger up the shaft (lol). It dries really quickly and is frizzy and easily absorbs water, which are some other indicators from a selection of websites who I have decided to trust. This means that I need to:
Regularly deep condition
Rinse with cold water to seal my wide-open cuticles
Use leave-in conditioners
I will be using a ‘low-poo’ method (which isn’t CGM apparently but if I only wash with conditioner or something similar I will have a greasy mop a few hours after the shower so I’ll start gently). Here's the 'Is It CG?' 'Be Careful' results of what I'm beginning with.

These ingredients could cause build up on finer, thin hair.
Chelating Agents: Disodium EDTA
These ingredients bind with metal ions or metallic compounds and prevent them from adhering to your hair. They work to detox your hair from mineral and potentially toxic metal build up. Products with these ingredients should be used sparingly - up to once a month.
So it all got a bit too scientific for me towards the end there and I'm choosing to ignore that bit. Next!

A true repeat of the conditioner I have, which isn't a huge surprise as they're both Garnier. But I'll be using this one as a leave in on the days I'm having a bath or whatever.
I'll also be trying the Umberto Giannini Curl Jelly Scrunching Jelly for a laugh. I've never really used anything post-hair wash so it'll be fun to see if this tames the frizz. I just washed my hair today but I had to use a silicone-laden conditioner, so I'm going to start the real journey on Thursday!
