A massive Heritage Auctions International Comic Art event takes place this weekend, 9th - 10th March 2024, offering iconic works from Tintin, Metabarons, Rom, plus art by Brian Bolland, Carlos Ezquerra, Moebius, Jack Kirby and more

So did Jodorowsky wrote the 2015 Metabaron series yes or no? The Humanoids website and Goodreads cites him as author of "Histoire originale" "orignal story" but Jerry Frissen as the author of the script; the English version cites Jodo as "Story" and Frissen as "Writer"

I'm a bit skeptical because L'Incal : Kill Tête-de-Chien cites Moebius as author of the original work and he's you know, dead; so I'm not sure if Jodorowsky came up with the story and Jerry Frissen wrote it or if it's "inspired" by The Metabarons saga

jodorowsky is the only good mainstream comic writer. the sons of el topo is great because it's metabarons but it's a spaghetti western

I've always been a fan of Moebius ever since I picked up the Incal, many many years ago. Over the years that universe, called the Techno verse, expanded both literally in the number of comics and stories set in it and metaphorically, as it exploded new frontiers of scifi in my soaking-up-everything-i-can-get-my-brain-hooked-onto mind. The Metabarons saga is one of the finest pieces of literature, space opera, ever written in a comic book format. And now with my added fascination of ink pens, nibs and inks I finally have an expression of creativity that goes beyond the words and verse. I want to continue inking and sketching the things that made me pause and wonder. I hope in a small way, my amateur sketches will inspire you and others to pickup the tools of your choice and push yourself into karma. With all the love and encouragement, may the Metabarons and Moebius spark your imagination and let your creativity badoom!
