I made some mortal forms for the lake guardians, as both a reference to the magical transformation trope, and as a way for them to blend into public.

The mortal forms have some aspects of the lake trio's shiny versions

My Lake Guardians won the poll !!! They're all siblings and help keep things in check whenever needed! The world has been so peaceful that most legendries nowadays don't have to do much, all thanks to a noble sacrifice from their father a long time ago. Not to say things haven't been stirring as of late, but whatever it is these three are sure to throw their hats into the ring to keep the peace-- even if that's just assisting the good guys!

Pokeddexy 2023 | day 31: All Time Favorite

If someone asks me what's the one reason why I even got into this damn fandom in the first place, it's this fucking deformed dinosaur thing that is the Pokemon equivalent of a time god right there

I spent 13 or so hours on this one, which is like... 4x a usual Pokeddexy entry takes, I went fucking shit with the lighting cause... there's 2 light sources, and I'm pretty sure not even school taught me how to do this yet, but anyways I did finish it. I'm not sure if this is gonna age well, so I'll just let sit for a while to see if I have any regrets or not :/

Basically, I was kinda trying to subvert expectations by making mesprit a dude; considering the whole "pink=girl blue=boy" trope. I also wanted to kinda reference the whole magical girl transformation trope by making the lake trio have normal forms(human disguise) and their true forms

Okay I can finally answer this ( was coming back from a family vacation so there was such a little wifi)!

Anyways, yeah!!! I like trying to subvert expectations with my gijinkas, if not visually, then personality wise! So your Mespirit gijinka was very cool in that regard!!!!! I also like the magical girl aspect of them too!

-Artemis (Azelf) She/her, sylph of Willpower

-Metsik (Mesprit) he/him, warrior of emotion

-Uri(Uxie) they/them, Seer of knowledge

Also, transformation wise: it's magical girl-ish. Basically, they grab ahold of the gem on their accessory of choice and focus; and then they transform
