MeseMoa. Babies Audition - Masterpost

MeseMoa. Babies (the name is temporary) is a new project planned to be launched by DD Corporation. An audition, the name of which is stylized as “DD presents MeseMoa. Babies AUDITION”, is being held to choose the members for the group. The audition has four stages + final stage that take place from September, 2017 until February, 2018.

Please note, the masterpost is still in construction, so is the schedule for the Audition, so the dates of the stages can be changed.

Stage 1: Online Examination (Sep 4 - Nov 5)

The ones that want to audition have to fill the entry form and provide the following:

a proper photo of them

a video of them singing “Shiroi Fuku wo Kimi to”

a video of them dancing to “Rabbit Jump” (choreography by K’suke)

Other requirements:

only male contestants allowed

contestants must be 12 years old or older

contestants who are planning to become members must be able to live in Tokyo when the group is formed as this is where the group will be set (the company will provide accommodation)

contestants must not have any side contracts as dancers/singers/performers/models/etc.

contestants have to be good at interacting with fans

After the application period has finished, the entries are judged and the ones who passed are informed via email. Those people proceed to the 2nd stage.

Stage 2: Online Popularity Contest (Dec 8 - Jan 8)

At this point, each contestant gets an entry number and must have a Twitter account to communicate with the fans. The materials sent with applications (photo, singing video and dancing video) are revealed to public for the viewers to judge and choose who they like the most. Out of 33 contestants only 20 are planned to be left for the 3rd stage. Only one vote a day from one person allowed.

I managed to chat about the play and work with Tanaka Toshihiko-kun on my way home. It was pretty pleasant and I loved it. (Here’s a photo of the training room floor I took for some reason)

Today we were practicing the scenario. On the photo you can see the act I appear in. Thanks to Sugano Shintarou-san’s guidance we are managing to recreate the scenes one by one. Also, here’s our training room, empty. We are practicing on but an imitation of a stage, so I am excited to see what it will look like at the actual show.
