A mute joseph AU? That would be interesting since he's easily the most talkative of the Jojos so it would completely mess around with his established personality. Would it be him mute from birth or perhaps from an injury? (Also: what if it crosses over with the mer au, in that merman!Joseph can speak underwater, but his vocal cords simply don't work in air?)

Alright, it's time for me to explain one of my first ever JoJo AUs: Strengths and Weaknesses! The reason it's named this is because everyone loses their biggest strength, which counts as a "weakness", but they gain new strengths along the way!

I'll be real, I have more info on the fandoms this AU was original for and for Part 5. (But don't expect any other part 5 AU content here, since I'm only well-versed in Part 2! Sorry bout that D:) The Part 2 variant, involving Caesar and Joseph, was a tiny silly idea my sister and I came up with.

The silly idea was that Joseph loses his voice and Caesar loses his charm with women while Lisa Lisa loses her hamon. That's... it really.

I surprisingly have more for a side AU (which at this point is the main S&W AU for Part 2), which is as follows:

"Caesar carried Joseph, littered in bruises and scars, home. Even after watching the Joestar sneak off the island to finish his secret deal with Kars, the Zeppeli held all trust in him, going as far to look after him. But, after Caesar tries to question him, he finds Joseph's voice missing as panic bubbles under his skin. It takes two men to return the missing pieces that was Joseph's voice. But it was obvious that there was something else that was plaguing Joseph..."

That's about all I have for this AU, but I do always think about the angst potential of mute Joseph!

First off, this account is non-canon! Since this is based on a AU, of course some wild stuff will happen here that won’t happen in the main franchise. So, there’s that.

Secondly, due to the first point, everyone’s original deaths did not happen, as they were redacted. Therefore, the characters original deaths did happen, but were quickly undone by some strange force.
