Lol, it’s funny to actually look at the tracks that are coming up and reminisce about how I discovered the band. (The Lords of Acid were mentioned in a BBS Doors game called Barney Splat. I had to check them out, and my 16-year-old mind was not left unscathed. I definitely recommend them to anyone who likes some racy topics like songs about fuck dolls or marijuana.)

Also, track 10 had me laughing because I have many soundtracks and I’m glad that one was able to bust through the army of :Wumpscut: tracks.

X: 3 OTPs from 3 different fandoms.

I don’t really have any OTPs?  OP is the only fandom I’m really in right now and I multi-ship everybody...

Y: A fandom you’re in but have no ships from.

Graceland, maybe?  I’m not really ‘in’ the fandom but what drew me into that show was the interactions between all the different characters in a platonic sense, so I’ve never really been that into any ‘ships’ because of that.

Z: What's a ship that you want to ship publicly, but everyone on tumblr hates it so you keep your mouth shut about it?

I mostly ship rare pairings so none of those are ‘popular’ enough on tumblr to get any hate, thankfully...and at least in this fandom the ‘popular’ ones I ship I’ve never gotten hate for, either, so...

I hope your little furbaby feels better. Usually shots can really put them down for the count for awhile so I wouldn’t stress too much. <3 just keep an eye on him and give him lots of love and snuggles <3

Omg. Please ask the vet if it goes on. He might be allergic or something :(((  

Thanks, everyone. T_T I talked to the vet when I dropped off his poop sample (no parasites! yay!) and they said give him 24-48 hours to feel better. He had quite a few vaccinations and he’s probably just sore and tired from them.

I got home and he’s a little better. We got him to eat a little bit of food, and I think he drank his water and ate while I was gone. He walked around some, but he doesn’t want to be picked up at all (which I totally get).

I think he’ll be okay by tomorrow. He’s gone back to sleep in his bed and is relaxing as we speak. I’ll give you all updates when I have them.

37. Most inspirational quoteyou’ve ever read or heard that’s still important to you.

When I was younger, my mom usedto watch a lot of Northern Exposure, and honestly, I feel like that was goodfor me. There were a lot of good messages in the episodes, stuff that little me(who didn’t have a computer or internet or any way to get any culture beyondthe pitifully small school library) wouldn’t have learned otherwise.

Season 3, Episode 10 Seoul Mates, really struck me, and even now willbring me to tears when I watch it. It’s a Christmas themed episode, and one ofthe main story arcs has Maurice, ex-marine, astronaut, and rich white man,meeting his son for the first time—Doo Qwon. Turns out, while he was in Koreaduring the war, he knocked up a woman, and now, after 40ish years, his soncomes to Alaska to meet his father. Maurice is always shown to be a bigot,racist, sexist. He’s not a very progressive man, so this comes as quite theshock, and he’s having issues with accepting it.

He has a conversation abouthis misgivings with Chris (the town DJ), and this part really struck me hard.It’s something I think even now, we need to remember.

Chris: It’s the Other.Maurice: The other what?Chris: Maurice, think ofconcentric circles. The inner circle is ourselves, then the family, then thetribe, then the neighboring tribes, and so on and so on. The further you getaway from the center, the more foreign things become. The people on the outercircles, they become the Other.Maurice: What’s your point?Chris: Well, with sex, the Otheris good. I mean, you were probably very attracted to Doo Qwon’s mother way backwhen. But, you take the Other from the Outer and make it part of the Inner, andsometimes it doesn’t work out.Maurice: Chris, no matter how youexplain this thing, it’s a nightmare. This man is my son. I don’t like the wayhe looks. I don’t like the way he talks. I don’t like what he eats.Chris: Well, if it’s anyconsolation, Maurice, your feelings aren’t instinctual.Maurice: No?Chris: No. It’s cultural.Maurice: Well, how the hell couldthat be a consolation?Chris: It’s learned behavior.Maurice: So?Chris: So, you an unlearn it.

 Even now, this gets me hard. It reminds me how easily you can have you perception molded by your surroundings, and that culturally ingrained concepts can be unlearned. It just takes effort.

42. How do you figure out yourcharacters looks, personality, etc.

Looks are much less importantthan personality for my writing. I usually figure out a base personality andwork from there. Like, I’ll pick a trait (such as stubborn, kind, etc.) and workfrom there. Sometimes I’ll use writing generators to give me random traits tomix it up so I’m not always creating similar characters.

46. What would your story _______look like as a tv show or movie?

For this one, I’m gonna go withLost Time. And man, I think if it was made as a TV show, it would be so cool.Ahhh, just think of all the dragons and the fighting?? Amazing. I just lovefantasy settings, and seeing them on screen is always fun. (LOTR aestheticplease and thank you. XD)

52. How did writing change you?

I’ll be honest, it’s hard toremember what I was doing before I wrote. It’s been so long. I think though,the biggest thing is that I almost never go anywhere without bringing anotebook with me. I’m always ready if inspiration strikes.
