Aquarium jailbreak?

Steve starts questioning the moral implications of keeping Eddie captive for a new exhibit to make money for the aquarium. The painful tagging and excessive experiments are too much, they're just cruel and maybe even barbaric. So after building a bond with Eddie he decides he can't let him be unveiled to the public and decides to break him out.

This being a little spontaneous, he grabs the nail bat from the trunk of his car and sneaks in after hours using his employee key. Make it look like he broke out on his own, was the plan, (they all knew the mer was inhumanly strong when the sedatives wore off) so he smashed the glass. Much to Eddie's glee.

That was pretty much as far as the plan went though, so now he has to carry Eddie to the back seat of his car and drive him home.

His bathtub will be fine, right? It's just temporary after all.

But he gets caught by the security cameras, the problem with spontaneity is lack of forethought. The man who caught Eddie for his exhibit just had his ticket to fame and fortune stolen away and he's coming to get it back.

EXCITED AND SCARED! Wrote (accidentally) ten sentences of my steddiebang, sharing three new ones from mer!eddie wip.

His eyes wandered down her body, taking in her curves and all the tanned skin her yellow bikini didn’t cover, one of his hands settling onto her opposite hip as he leaned over her. His mouth was spread in a hungry grin that made her tremble with anticipation and it was her who made the final move, reached up to sink her finges into his wet curls to draw him closer to kiss.

His lips were wet and cold, the kiss consuming, his tongue meeting hers to coax a moan out of her.

Okay but what about fake dating AU but NOT the way you think. Hear me out okay.

Steve being tired of Dustin telling him over and over to ask out Robin bc they’re obviously in love. Steve has enough and says the only thing that he thinks will get Dustin off his back.

“BECAUSE IM GAY DUSTIN”

“That’s not true!”

“I have a boyfriend!”

“Who?!”

“Jonathan!”

Jonathan is chill and agrees to fake date. They tell the party they’re dating. Steve has a gay awakening. But Jonathan is not his type really. Realizes he likes metal heads when he and Eddie bond about being queer. Eddie Munson is incredibly jealous. ‘HES ACTUALLY GAY BUT TAKEN KILL ME NOW’ Eddie and Jonathan almost get into a fight. Chaos, man, chaos.

She thought it was a fish at first, a big one, and right next to the pontoon, because some water splashed onto her fingers where her right arm was stretched right to the edge. Turning to look, mostly because she was simply so bored, her breath caught in her throat. She couldn’t be seeing what she was seeing.
