“oh. My. God.” She squeaked, firstly plunging herself into your arms gratefully and thanking you over and over, and then kneeling down to get a better look at the kitten

She soon noticed the tag on his collar, and reached out to read it- noticing the ring attached

She froze, then slowly turned to you in shock with a pale face

“You’re...you’re serious?” She gulped, as you slipped it on.

She didnt care how much of a blubbering mess she was- she just pulled you down for a hug and a thousand kisses- ready to start her new life with you

“R...really??” She asked you, gulping as you nodded before breaking into the hugest smile anyone’s ever seen

She placed the kitten safely on the floor and jumped into your arms, kissing all over your face and promising that you were all she ever needed

idk how true this is or accurate it is, but ive noticed that most of the times, its ex drivers praising lando, and the media criticising lando, and at the same time, its also ex drivers (sometimes?) criticising max, and the media praising max.

idk, its just an observation, im still new to the sport, so idk how much of it is true

a lot of ex drivers praise lando, especially who i like to call the biggest landorina, jenson button. every time he's the one doing the race cover, he's praising lando and defending lando. there's also nico rosberg, emerson fittipaldi, sir jackie stewart... but yeah, he's always getting thrashed by the media.

as for max, he has past drivers backing him up... like his (asshole) father in law, nelson piquet, known racist and homophobe! but also sebastian vettel, i think. you don't even need to look at past drivers to see who criticizes him. the fucking goat lewis hamilton is always pointing out max and his fuckups and that's incredible to moi

and the media is always riding max's dick and acting like he's the best they've ever seen. don't get me wrong, he has talent, he's fucking incredible. but his actions are less than sportsmanslike. either way, your statement is, almost all the time, true.

im ngl, the interview with the race is kinda rubbing me the wrong way... not the things that lando said, i thought it was really mature, but the little part that the journalist wrote just seems very... mean? critical? negative?

Hating an unproblematic guy like Oscar is hilarious to me, and this is coming from a Lando fan. You are mad at Oscar for trying to race Lando? When it's basically his job? When Lando does the exact same thing? okay, let's go through parts here

1. the misogynistic comments —

i'm still failing to see a concrete video proof, but okay. i don't agree with what he said, and i would definitely feel offended if i got told that. liking a driver ≠ agreeing with everything they say.

seeing as it happened in 2021, almost four years ago, i'd definitely say that lando has grown and matured. it's not an excuse for what he said, keep that in mind. lando has done a lot more that highlights the fact he isn't misogynistic than not.

take it as an example: an interview with brazilian journalist mariana becker. she asked him a question, he said “you're definitely the one who asks the better questions here”, and another journalist from the crowd said he was a liar. lando went on to promptly defend mariana.

2. horner comments —

literally every driver did it lol. doesn't make it any better, but they all did it. plus, it wouldn't be smart — pr wise — to say shit about the rival team's tp, would it?

3. vettel disagreement —

people grow, change and mature. people can change a lot from a year to the other. he wasn't saying he didn't want them banned; he was saying it just shouldn't be for life because people can regret what they did. shocking, right?

again, i would've been slightly more upset at the time, but seeing as he has done a lot more to talk about abuse in the sport with fans amongst themselves and fans with drivers, as well as always broaching the topic of mental health, i'd say he has done more to prove he's not approving of abuse in the sport.

4. piquet comment —

cannot and will not defend him on that one. he was wrong, period.

still doesn't erase the fact he chose to participate in the blm movement when lewis brought it up. cl16 refused to do so, if i'm not mistaken.

but then again, max verstappen and red bull were the ones to take piquet to the paddock in são paulo and break his permanent ban.

5. final thoughts —

all of them are going to do controversial shit. they're rich fucks who don't have much grasp of the real life. that's shitty.

what stands out is the fact he changed. grew. matured. he has done a lot more over the years to prove he's not any of those things than to prove he is.
