Vraiment bon.

Brian May live at the Fat Tuesdays in New York, NY, USA (with Les Paul) - March 25, 1991
The gig was played at Fat Tuesdays, a small nightclub that Les Paul played once a week for many years. On this night, they were filming part of a home video called Guitar, narrated by guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter of Steely Dan fame. But the released video included only part of Early Morning Blues.

“The gig was played at Fat Tuesdays, a small nightclub that Les Paul played once a week for many years. On this night, they were filming part of a home video called Guitar, narrated by guitarist Jeff "Skunk" Baxter of Steely Dan fame. Al Di Meolo also played that night and I believe Les Paul intros him at the end of Brian's set. It was a truly amazing night for me and the other people there. You can hear the excitement in the crowd, made up of an older, jazz crowd, including regulars that came each week to see Les Paul, and the Queen fans that had heard about it on the radio that afternoon and from friends. When we arrived at Fat Tuesdays, not knowing what to expect, there were only three other people there to see Brian. By the time he went on, though, another 50 or so people had shown up. Before the gig, I had the honor of meeting Brian, hanging by himself at the bar. I was even able to buy Brian a beer, as he had just finished the one he was drinking! Then the subject of live recordings came up (my friend blurted out, about me, 'he's got 100 live shows', to which I was a bit weary of having Brian hear. I mentioned to him that I thought he might not be too happy for fans to have unauthorized recordings, but he said no, as long as I enjoyed them, then it was fine. I even made sure to let him know that a decent portion were of excellent quality! We talked about Queen and other stuff. It was an incredible night and he was one of the nicest and most gracious people I've met. At the time, some of the Hollywood remasters had just been released. I know News Of The World was out (Brian even asked what I thought of the Rick Rubin 'remix' of WWRY... I said it was 'interesting'!)... well, I asked Brian if they had already started work on the remaster for Queen II and he said that it wasn't finished yet or they were working on it. So, I mentioned that if possible, they should include 'See What A Fool I've Been' as a bonus track, since The Game remaster had been released without 'A Human Body' (as I can remember!). He said something like 'you know, we hadn't thought of that' (what???)... and at one point, even took out a pen and paper and wrote down these ideas! Well, as we know, the Queen II remaster came out a few months later, with 'See What A Fool I've Been,' sure enough on it! Maybe it was already planned that way, but who knows! Brian also mentioned that the Queen I remaster would include an unreleased tune, which turned out to be 'Mad The Swine', but I couldn't understand what Brian was saying, so I thought he said 'Madness Wine'. After talking a bit with Brian, we realized we still weren't sure if we were even going to get into the gig, so we kindly asked him if there was somehow he might help us get in... he told us to follow him as he went into the club through the back entrance, down past the kitchen! Once inside the tiny club (where we dutifully paid our way), my friend Mike had a classic line, meant in jest (though I'm not exactly sure how Brian took it!)... he said to Brian: 'Not quite Wembley, huh Brian?'. I hope Brian took it as a joke! There was a guy after the gig that presented Brian with a homemade guitar... it didn't look like the Red Special, but supposedly sounded like it and on a subsequent in-radio 'live' performance from Brian's 'radio tour' for Innuendo, Brian wound up playing it! I can't remember which radio performance this was from, but I know he mentions it on the program. It truly was an amazing, magical night!” - Justin Leiter

Quindi, (e qui mi rivolgo anche e soprattutto all' #OpusDei !)

#museoarcheologicovenezia #venezia #venice #piazzasanmarco #piazzasanmarcovenezia #archeologia #archaeology #carloanti #guerra #lova #martellago #castelvint #brunaforlati #meolo #oderzo#inrepostme (presso Villa Lante Bagnaia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGW8jEDhQkt/?igshid=96optlswubfq

Fulvio Roiter was born in 1926 and grew up in Meolo, a small village in northern Italy a few kilometres from Venice. His family lived in the countryside and lived off the harvests of the land. The economic situation was not the best, Italy was in the post-war period and food was scarce. His father's obsession at the time was for Fulvio to work in one of the country's largest petrochemical poles. A secure career, according to him, and a relief for the whole family.
The young Roiter was a good student and did well in his studies. So his father wanted to give him a special present. He spent six hundred lire at the time and bought him a Welta, a German camera. From that moment on, there wasn't a corner or person in the village that he didn't photograph. He did it instinctively, viscerally.
He made a pact with his father: he asked for a month to travel and decide whether he would be a chemist or a photographer. Granted.
The trip confirmed his love of photography and, above all, his talent.
All his work is related to the trips he has made, a long journey around the world. The subject of his photos is usually ordinary people going about their daily business.

The clothes I choose for the store are all things I love. It’s a simple rule, and I’m humbled daily in the knowledge that there a bunch of guys around the world that share a similar taste.🙏 For all the products I pick and sell, I actually end up wearing pretty much the same few pieces throughout the winter and summer. The Max 3 Jacket from Max Rohr is definitely one of those pieces. In the winter I always weer the heavier wool version.:.and in the summer I wear the Linen version…until it gets hot enough to melt the pavement of course.🔥 Here I’m wearing the Modern Western Shirt in Rinsed Denim from @freenotecloth with the Olive Max 3 Jacket in wool. (Still cold here in Italy can you believe it!) We have the new summer collection of cotton and linen jackets arriving soon from Max Rohr…and we still have a few of these wool Max 3 Jackets in Olive left. 🇮🇹👌 #heritageworkwear #myredwings #redwingheritage #redwingboots #redwingstyle #redwings #selvedgesunday #heritagestyle #selvedgedenim #vintagemilitary #rawdenim #drydenim #denimporn #selvedge #selvedgeforum #denimheads #thereviveclub #rugged #ruggedstyle #dailyruggedstyle #ruggedworkwear #freenotecloth (at Meolo) https://www.instagram.com/p/CbzgzFPNiEv/?utm_medium=tumblr

Fulvio Roiter, Bresil, 1970. "Fulvio Roiter was born in Meolo (Venice) in 1926. He began to take photographs at the age of twenty; in 1949 he joined the La Gondola photography club in Venice...In spring 1955 he travelled around Sardinia on a motorcycle, while a few weeks later he made his first journey to Andalusia, where he was to return a year later. In 1959 he left for his first journey to Brazil, where he stayed for 9 months, returning several times between 1960 and 1962. In the winter of 1959 he was working in Belgium; here he met the photographer Lou Embo and they were married a few months later. Between 1972 and 1974 he discovered equatorial Africa, with a series of trips to the Ivory Coast, where among other things he carried out a famous photographic reportage in a Senufo village; to Zaire, where he photographed the ritual dances of the Watussi and the pigmies of Mount Hoyo; and to Niger, at Agades, the gateway to the desert. His famous photographic books originated from these journeys: to date the most important number more than sixty." https://www.instagram.com/p/CH8jfYXgDMy/?igshid=1hcvuy01hy5yj
