Kurt Darkholme Yandere AU part 3

(Before the kidnapping)

The world is at peace at least, well, the word in itself is a bit of a trickery one, after all, this peace was conquer by many, many sacrifices and the heroes of this brave new world are not from a romantic tale.

Kurt Michael Darkholme is certainly not a romantic hero(some silly girls call him Byronic hero and Kurt think they are aired head) he survived and sometimes, in his darkest hours, Kurt wonders why he did survive. This was a routine that...change after his new mission.

"Kurt, keep up with the peace, will you?" Raven Darkholme snap at him" I don't have time for you Germanic musings about life and death" her reb painted lips snarled at him and Kurt is too immune to even fake a reaction.

"Sorry, mother, let´s keep with the program, what illegal and dangerous plan are you hatching this time?" Kurt counter back at her in his amused tone.

"You really would think your dear mother would do anything illegal?" Raven asked and as Kurt just nods without missing a beat, Raven smiles and continues "Ah, my boy knows me very well, but it is nothing ....completely illegal, unless we are caught" she smiles in a way that mirrors him(sometimes is a bit unnerving how Kurt and Raven are so alike)

They are hiking towards a city at the top of the mountain, why they are hiking? At this point, Kurt learn to not make to many questions, his mother´s plan always have loopholes to explore, always have a hidden agenda and Kurt and Rogue learn to just accept this.

"Do your sister enter in contacted with you?" Raven asked making her concern very well, but Kurt knows her well enough to know she is worried(well, as much his mother let him know her...there´s a huge lap of her past that is 100% unknown for him and Mystique has no desire to fix that)

"Ever since the fiasco with Magneto? Well, Rogue is dealing better than I give credit for..." Kurt's voice is lack of warmth, the memory of his sister crying for such low man is not pleasing "but she is still alive, just heartbroken"

"I heard that he is creating a mutant only state and many are following his words, he is a charismatic leader, I give him that, anyway, I decided to create my own state for mutants and humans" she said smiling now " Erik wasn´t pleased that I decided to open the gates for humans...I told him where to put his opinions" Raven answers proudly.

"I´m sure Rogue will feel vindicated, mother," Kurt said.

"Yes, I know I fail Rogue...I was a bitter woman when Erik and Rogue" there´s a loud sigh and Kurt prefer to not know much about the relationship between Magneto and his mother(although he has some ideas and none were pleasing) "But I´m her mother, I´m your mother and I´ll kill anyone who hurts my sons"

"I´m touched" his words are too neutral to be taken as sincerely or just plain sarcastic, Raven didn´t seem to bother. Then as they continue to walk, Kurt decides to ask something, since his dear mother is in the mood to talk  "Mother, when you realize you love Irene?"

This prompt Raven to halt and look at her son, no, more like gazing(golden eyes and scarlet eyes, unreadable for any other eyes)

"Well, I meet her before the Apocalypse, she was a blind mutant ...she was such a naive and cheerful woman, often seen the good in everything..." Raven speak fondly and is a rare occurrence for Kurt" I need to protect her, so many people take advantage of her, you know how this world is ugly, no matter if Apocalypse is dead, the ugliness remains" Kurt just nods knowing full well how ugly this word can be  " I take her to the cabin and we raise Rogue and you there...she could see the future and told me she was expecting me"

"You...kidnap her?" the words were spoken carefully, Kurt always knew that Mystique meet Kurt´s biological father and the meeting wasn´t nice, by all meaning of the word Irene and Raven are his family.

"No, I protected her" Mystique deem the conversation over her and then noticed the weather "Kurt, the winter is coming soon, you should wear something warm"

"I´m already fuzzy, " this did little to persuade his mother in stop with her antics, she now fixing his jacket mimicking a mother who is fixing her son´s uniform for the first day at school.

"Kurt, whatever plan you trace for yourself, I´ll always back you up, just promise you won´t sleep with Magneto"

"Rest assure, mother, this is a family tradition I have no desire to follow"

"Good, now," she said and the travel continues in silence, they spot the city´s gate and Kurt could see the hospital´s tall building and many residential houses. Life is flourishing once again(and did little to hide the unsightliness of the past.)
