#mentioning how a social media site platformed antiblackness?

I made a comment on a TikTok video talking about the popularity and influence of Vine on HS kids in 2012/2013, and a bunch of other young people are upset in the comments of my comment and the video.
I commented, "Tru! I think we need to discuss more Vine's influence on '94 to '98 babies' humor." Because a lot of Vine's humor relied on antiblackness, and I mentioned this in a follow-up comment. But I woke up to several dozen comments from other young people saying something to the effect of, "But I know what Vine is, and I was born in '05!"
Okay? Cool? You've completely missed the point of both the original video and my comment.
#Like... first#the video was about Vine's influence on high schoolers in '12/'13#if you were born in '05 then you were not in HS at this time#those high schoolers would've been born between '94 to '98#simple math people!#Second...#how in the fuck is that a way to respond to someone#mentioning how a social media site platformed antiblackness?#'Vine's humor relied on antiblackness and this greatly influenced high schoolers when the platform was popular'#'But I know what Vine is and I was born in '05!'#alright. we can talk about how your humor was also influenced by antiblackness if that's what you're getting at#(it's not. that is not what they're getting at)
