CW: Period sex, blood
Simon was desperate to put you out of your glum misery, the pout of your lip and the flair of your brows as you kneeled over in pain only urged him on more as he furiously tapped into his phone ways to help with period cramps.
He had tried everything; a hot water bottle, a nice bath, tea, massages. It all just left you feeling too hot or overwhelmed and never seemed to subside the internal torment of your belly.
Brown eyes widened slightly as he took in the word “sex” blurted as 1) on some shitty magazine website. Pupils flickered between each line taking in how ‘making love’ was a great way to ease period cramps.
It was a tender subject while you were menstruating, Simon’s body timid as he approached your skulking figure.
“Baby, I’ve been doing research on how to help with your period cramps and I’m willing to try it if you want too?”
“Mmmm… Si, no more home remedies… what is it?”
“Fucking.”
Your eyes looked at his, face tense as you checked for a joking smirk but your boyfriend only just stared at you, holding his phone up to show he was being truthful.
“You want to… fuck? Me? While I’m on my period?”
Simon nodded, almost hesitantly as he heard the unsureness in your tone. You blinked.
“What if it grosses you out? Or smells? Or looks weird? Or you get chunks on your dick?”
Simon shook his head, a chuckle leaving his throat as he leaned forward, placing a gentle kiss on your hairline.
“I’ve seen every bit of you. Nothing would gross me out. It’s completely natural, love. Besides, I see blood too often, feels like second nature to me now.”
Your body was rigid as you laid awkwardly on a towel, your thighs widened as Simon took in the sight of you. He licked his chapped lips, taking in the puff of your swollen pussy and the gentle throb of your clit. You had quickly washed yourself before this, incredibly self conscious, even though your boyfriend urged that it wasn’t necessary.
Slick pooled at your entrance, the light filter of red hinting through as Simon locked his hips against yours, rubbing the mushroom tip over your wet folds, a moan escaping your mouth as you clutched onto his biceps.
He lined himself against your aching hole, pushing in slightly as you whined before edging himself in inch by inch. It wasn’t long until he bottomed out, thick cock filling you to the brim as he began to rock back and forth, kissing your gummy walls with each thrust as you writhed underneath him.
“That’s it baby, does that feel good?”
You nodded, biting your lip in the process as a hand rubbed down on your belly, pushing slightly as he picked up his pace, thrusting into your wet heat as you mewled.
His shaft was coated in your slick and a light dribble of blood, the metallic taste in the air sending something carnal through him as he fucked himself into you at a rough pace, his eyes watching the way your breasts jiggled and your face scrunched up in pleasure.
“Fuck- Si - so, so good.”
“I know baby, just needed me to fuck you silly to feel better.”
You felt aligned with him as he ached his member into you before spilling his delectable seed into your fertile cunt.
Spoiler alert, you didn’t get a period for 9 months after this. Seemed to help your cramping problem.

Period headcanons
Friendly reminder that English is not my first language. You can check my Masterlists both in English and Polish here. Consider supporting me on Ko-fi. You can also check out my commissions if you're interested.
Other headcanons from this series can be found here.
Ruggie Bucchi
• Ruggie wouldn't be surprised by the period in the first place. If there are guys for whom this is a taboo topic, he wouldn't be one of them. He saw so many things on the streets as a child that neither pain nor blood scares him. He would also have no problem talking about it loudly. It's just a normal thing.
• He would definitely be a master of home remedies during your period. His years of odd jobs and all kinds of life knowledge would be invaluable in this matter. He would brew you homemade teas to help with the pain. All herbs are collected and dried by hand by him.
• While he is invaluable when it comes to home-made medicines, when you feel like snacking, he can be a miser. Cookies, chocolates, chips at Sam's? He's always short of money. But don't worry, if you really want some, he will somehow get money from Leona. Will you know about it? Not necessarily...
• Ruggie tolerates mood swings very well. Not only did he undergo training while working for Leona but he also got used to the fact that a woman is right, even when she isn't. In Savanaclaw, they lead in most relationships and thus he will tolerate any moodiness you may have.
Ortho Shroud
•A prefect in need? Ortho noticed it first! Before he downloaded the exact module, he thought you were seriously ill. He was very concerned about your health. Only when he downloaded the appropriate data did he understand what was going on.
• You can be sure that his information will be verified and supported by scientific evidence. He and Idia have access to data that an ordinary mortal will probably never even see. Therefore, expect a slightly medical approach to the topic.
• You will be scanned frequently unless you specifically do not want it. But let's be honest, these won't be just ordinary scans. You will get full information about what hurts you, where exactly and what is the best way to deal with it, so it sounds like a good deal.
• Ortho believes you should get plenty of rest. A warm water bottle, a blanket and off to bed! He will ask Grim to stay with you and not make a fuss, which surprisingly the cat will do (you don't know that there is a promise about can of tuna behind it).
• He will get you some medicines from the school nurse if you don't feel up to going to get them. Same with snacks and pads or tampons. Where does the money come from? He belongs to the Styx, one word and Crowley will generously create a new fund for your needs, which you won't find out about until long after the fact.
• You will receive a personalized cycle tracking app. Idia was allegedly bored. In reality, however, his hair was red the entire time he was creating it and he explained to his brother that he was only doing it at his request.
Jade Leech
• Menstruation is not a foreign concept to him. The point is more that Jade, like his brother, knows it from theory. Everything looks different under water and he never had to face this problem with his mother, for example. But there's no need to worry. Years in business have accustomed him to learning new things quickly.
• If you like specific foods, whether before or during your period, Jade's has you covered. Mostro Lounge has a wide range of products and if you want something specific, he will simply cook it for you. It's best if it contains mushrooms but if you don't want them, it's fine...
• As with Ortho, there is no problem with money. He is a good businessman. What was the point of doing any business with Azul if he didn't make money?
He knows your dorm doesn't have enough money. He often jokes with a serious face that you will work it off later but in the end it never happens. In the worst case scenario, he will ask for a kiss on the cheek in exchange for help.
• You can be sure that at the first opportunity he will do some off-campus mega business related to hygiene products. There aren't many people interested in the NRC but outside? He can take over the world and give you free samples. He will ask you for advice and opinions. Guaranteed that at the end of the process you will come up with a new formula or scents. You are happy and he is rich. Two in one.
• He is not open enough to talk about period in front of others, like Ruggie. He won't shy away from it but he just has a little bit more tact and won't talk about it until the conversation clearly stirs that way.

your werewolf girlfriend comforts you during your period
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
As a werewolf, your girlfriend doesn't experience menstruation, instead going through a heat cycle at the beginning of each year lasting around 7 days; though the breeding season itself is short, she has a pseudo PMS time about a month before her heat starts.
Although you two have been together through many of your menstrual cycles, she still becomes panicked whenever she smells a hint of your blood. She becomes clingy, insistent on inspecting every inch of you each month to ensure that this time, there aren't any external injuries. She'll grumble anxiously as she tilts your chin and panics at every bump or bruise. Once she's satisfied with your safety, her strong, furry arms gently hold you, treating you as if the most minute movement would shatter you. She'll pull you to her lap, setting you up with a heating pad while rocking you slowly and cooing.
No matter how hard she tries- how often she goes through this with you- she can't get it out of her head that her poor mate is hurt and needs her help.
Your girlfriend's instincts tell her that she needs to help her mate with their heat. She urges you to take medication for even the slightest cramps and pains, offering a million natural remedies if you refuse. She builds nests made of blankets and clothing, tucking you in with a heating pad and a warm meal as she cuddles you.
⋆⁺。˚⋆˙‧₊☽ ◯ ☾₊‧˙⋆˚。⁺⋆
You groan, curling in on yourself in bed as the cramps intensify. Peeking through your blankets, you see the Saturday morning light stream into your bedroom, warming your face and providing a scrap of comfort. By the magnitude of the sunlight, you guess it's around 9am. The pain in your lower stomach indicates that you've started your period, and you thank your past self for having the foresight to have put on a pad the night prior.
Whining dramatically to yourself, you push yourself out of bed and to the bathroom. Changing the pad and showering before making your way to the kitchen to prepare a nice hot drink.
Hands and stomach thoroughly warm, you glance out your front window, shoulders drooping as you notice your girlfriend's car still missing. She works as a carpenter- strong, beautiful, with large calloused hands that not only felt wonderful when around your waist, but were perfect for woodworking. She'd left home early in the morning today to meet with a client regarding plans for the construction of a family treehouse. You propped your chin on the heel of your hand, staring out the window akin to, ironically, a puppy with separation anxiety. As you waited for your puppy to come home, you held your arm firm against your stomach and sipped languidly from your mug.
You were removed from your daze by the rumble of your girlfriend's truck pulling into the driveway, causing your ears to metaphorically perk up. Setting down your mug and rushing to the door, you unlocked and opened it a bit, poking your body out see your girlfriend sooner. As soon as she had locked her car and retrieved her equipment, she turned her head towards you. Her fuzzy ears literally perking up, tail wagging rapidly; her usually hidden werewolf traits easily revealed her excitement.
She speed-walked to the front door of your shared home, pausing at the doormat and giving you a sharp, giddy smile.
"Hello, my love,"
She pulls you into her arms, burying her nose in your hair and rubbing her hands along your sides, "Mm, I missed you. I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have left my poor baby home alone, especially when you're like this." Your girlfriend trails off.
Before you can reply, telling her that a period is not a life-threatening ailment, she sweeps you up into her arms, causing you to squeak in surprise.
"Gah-! W-what's wrong, puppy? I'm fine! You don't need to be so doting..." You pout, despite nuzzling close to her chest.
She responds by kissing your forehead as she locks the door.
You're carried through the house and tenderly sat down on the bed, her immediately following. She settles a heating pad to your lower stomach and settles her nose to your pulse point, inhaling your scent and reassuring herself that her mate is alright.
As you drift off again, lazily enjoying the weekend while the love of your life comforts you, she whispers gently,
"I could always, stop these for you, ya know." She teases, smiling into the crook of your neck.
You scoff gently, relaxing into your werewolf's arms.

Kids! Do You Want Kids
Pairing: Pete Townshend x fem!reader
Requested by anon
Summary: You and Pete are expecting your first baby.
Tags: fluff, pregnancy, implied smut, referenced past abuse
Words: 2,736
A/N: First time writing for Pete! I'm only about 100 pages into his biography, so I'm kinda rawdogging it. Hope you like it!
“Heartbeats? Plural? There’s more than one?” Pete chipped in, leaning forward in his chair.
When you had gone to the doctor, your problem was your daily sickness that wouldn't go away no matter how many home remedies you tried. After a month and the lack of your last two periods setting in, you thought it was time to see a professional. Your life hadn't been stressful enough to just skip your menstruation and you were otherwise healthy if it wasn't for the nausea.
The doctor confirmed and congratulated you and Pete. There were many thoughts going around your head, so you hoped Pete was listening attentively because you weren't.
When you left the office, there was some silence until you got into the car and your husband smiled excitedly. “We're going to be parents!”
You nodded, matching his smile. You were truly happy about it, you were simply surprised because except for a few conversations before you had gotten married about whether you both even wanted children in the future, you hadn't planned anything. Still, you felt like you were ready for it now.
“Yes! But let's not tell anyone yet, we'll surprise them,” you suggested. “I don't want our friends to know when we haven't fully processed it ourselves.”
“As you wish, angel,” he agreed, cupping your cheek and kissing you deeply before starting the car.
At home, Pete started making a list of things to do now that your situation had shifted quite a bit and you were to welcome a new family member in half a year. Then he made more elaborate lists for each of the points on the first list. Decorating the nursery, buying clothes and toys, making the house child-safe, preparing the dog, buying a child car seat, packing your hospital bag…
He also wanted to make a list of possible names, but you gently reminded him that there would be enough time to think about that later. Until you came up with a name, it would simply be “baby”.
Pete's excitement was contagious and reminded you once again of his enthusiasm being one of the many reasons why you loved him. However, as you were beginning to seriously prepare and realized how high the level of responsibility was going to be for the two of you, his worries set in. He didn't have doubts about keeping the baby – he didn't want you to have an abortion like his mother used to get and he was looking forward to having a family of his own – but he doubted whether he would be a good father himself.
“I'm afraid of being a dad,” he admitted one evening while you were lying in bed, his head on your chest, “because of how my dad was with me… He wasn't bad, but he was drunk most of the time and wasn’t supportive when I wanted to start making music. And I told you about my time with Denny…”
His voice cracked at the last sentence and you quickly caressed his cheek in comfort. You didn't want him to think about that now. He avoided talking about the dark times he had spent with her and not even you knew the full story – in fact, you were glad he had suppressed some of those memories – but what he had shared with you was horrible enough. His parents splitting up when he had been very young and never hearing from his father while Pete had lived with Denny certainly hadn't helped.
“You’ll be a great dad,” you reassured him, locking your fingers with his. “You told me you liked looking after your little brother, that's a good basis for parenting. You aren't Denny and you aren't your dad. You don't have to repeat their mistakes.”
“Thank you, love,” he said quietly, kissing your inner wrist. “I'll try my best.”
The next day, he was back in the happy dad-to-be mode and took you to go shopping for toys and baby clothes. While you were buying the same blue and white striped romper in two different sizes with matching blue shoes and a tiny hat, Pete found the most adorable teddy bear, a wooden rattle and a mobile with sun, moon and stars. Before the arrival of the little one, you would definitely come back to buy more, but this was good for a start.
Conveniently, your fairly new house had two extra rooms you had no real use for as of now. You decided to turn one of them – the one across the hall from your bedroom – into the child's room.
Everything you needed to renovate the nursery you had bought together and you had discussed the colour scheme beforehand, but as Pete didn't want you to get sick from the paint fumes, he sent you to go out with your friends for the day while he painted the walls.
You thoroughly enjoyed spending a whole day with your girlfriends – not that your husband kept you hidden away at all. The one thing you found increasingly difficult to hide was the fact that you were pregnant. Eventually, one of them discreetly asked, “Are you and Pete planning to have kids anytime soon?”
At that point, you couldn't hold back anymore and grinned, drawing out your answer, “Yes.”
Naturally, they had to celebrate loudly, ordering a round of dessert, and it was only a matter of time until people you hadn't even told would start congratulating you and Pete.
When you came home, you had the biggest smile on your face and Pete stepped out of the room he had been working on, mirroring your smile. “Did you have fun?” he asked, bending forward to kiss you with his hands held up in the air because he had some paint on his fingers.
“Yes! How is the nursery coming along?” You peeked past the door, noticing a few details he had felt free to add and nodding approvingly. This proved once more that Ealing hadn't been a waste of time. “I love it, Pete.”
After letting the paint dry for another day, you continued decorating. While Pete was putting together and moving the furniture, you started to knit a little blanket with the softest yarn you could find when you had gone shopping for baby clothes. You sat in an armchair he had put in the room first this morning so you could have a say in where to place what without having to stand for too long.
Over the course of the afternoon, you asked several times if you could help because he sometimes looked confused trying to figure out what size of screws belonged where in the chest of drawers, but he declined every time, insisting that he's fine and you shouldn't strain yourself.
“The crib under the window? Or next to it?” he asked, shoving it back and forth to show you the difference.
“Next to it,” you replied after a moment of thinking. “That way we don't have to bend over it to open the window.”
“That’s what I thought,” he smiled and looked down on your lap to see how far you had come with the blanket.
You noticed and proudly held it up. “Like it? I thought it would suit the colour of the nursery.”
Pete nodded quickly before asking shyly, “Can you… make a matching larger one after this is finished? For us two?”
“Aw of course, darling!” You stood up and wrapped your arms around his spindly figure. He wiped some sweat off his forehead with his sleeve and hugged you back, kissing your head as he rubbed your back.
Then the doorbell rang and he let go to answer. Shortly after, he returned with a small gift basket in his hand, equipped with a bottle of expensive red wine, and leaned against the windowsill to read the card that came with it.
“For the last set of Who parents. Love, Keith.” Pete read, shaking his head in disbelief. “This idiot gifted us a wine bottle to congratulate us on the baby.”
You simply chuckled. “What did you expect? It's Keith, we can be glad he didn't give us cherry bombs and a box of matches.”
“When it's old enough maybe,” Pete sighed before adding after a pause, “How did he even know? We haven't seen him together since we found out.”
“Well…” you admitted, feeling a little guilty because you had been the one who told him to keep it secret for now in the first place, “I told my friends because they asked me the other day. The news must have circulated.”
Pete smiled and kissed your cheek. “God, at least now I can finally say there's a reason why I've been in such a good mood. Roger must think I started popping pills before work again.”
“We can still surprise them next time,” you said half-jokingly, turning to kiss his lips.
“Next time?” He raised his eyebrows, secretly not completely turned off by the idea. After all, there was a second spare room. “Let's see how we can handle the first one.”
During this time, Pete liked to talk to the baby on a regular basis, often singing to it and showing it songs he had been working on. Although it couldn't respond yet, it was a nice way to share a piece of what he did for a living with your baby while entertaining it.
Pete laid on his back with his head on your lap and strumming the guitar. While playing, he turned his head to sing to the baby. At the end of the song, he rested his cheek against your bump, stroking it with his hand. “Was that a kick? It felt like a kick!” he asked excitedly, looking up at you with a wide smile.
You nodded, running your hand through his hair. “The baby likes when you sing to it.”
He leaned into your touch and started talking to the baby. “We’re so excited for you to arrive, little one. You're the size of a guinea pig now!”
“Probably bigger if you take after your giraffe-sized dad,” you teased and Pete tried to playfully glare at you but failed as he started to laugh.
“Probably bigger if you take after me, says your mum. She loves me for it, though,” he winked. “We're decorating your nursery right now. We hope you like the colours orange and yellow.”
Smiling at his excitement, you continued playing with his hair. You loved that he was letting it grow out along with the stubble he had usually shaved to look smooth. While talking, Pete's fingers lightly traced your stretch marks, stopping every now and then to kiss them.
When you had first noticed them, you had been frustrated and tried to hide them with your clothes even around the house, but Pete quickly caught on to your issue and made sure to show you on any given occasion that he genuinely liked how they looked on you. At the beginning, you had thought he was just trying to cheer you up, but you had grown to believe he meant it.
“Well, baby, you're probably overwhelmed by how much I talk and I'm afraid it will get even worse when you're here” he chuckled. “Until then, take it easy on your mama, it's not her fault. Take a nap, mum and I will be a little busy now anyway.”
You grinned and tugged at his hair. “You better not have the talk with it now when its peers will only get it in 15 years.”
“I just said we'll be busy,” he said, raising his hands in defense. “Doing the laundry or reading, for example. Or buying groceries.”
“And here I thought we would do something behind closed curtains,” you sighed, shaking your head in disappointment and crossing your arms.
Pete got up and pulled the curtains closed before returning to you, kneeling between your legs and sliding his hands up your thighs under your dress. “You mean like this?” he asked, placing his hands beside your shoulders and leaning in to kiss you.
You grabbed his face and pulled him in for a passionate kiss, resisting the urge to push his body down on you with the heel of your foot. “Close enough. Go wild, I'm already pregnant,” you laughed and he didn't need to be told twice as he shuffled to be on head-level with your hips again.
When it came to your strange food cravings, Pete readily cooked for you or helped you cook if it was something you wanted to make yourself. Either way, he didn't bat an eye – actually, he did at especially weird snacks, but he understood it was your hormones – and ate most things you ate too. He could eat as much as he wanted to without significantly gaining weight and he considered it a form of quality time as he didn't want you to feel alone when you had those cravings.
“Your child's been kicking me all day,” you groaned when Pete came home from the studio and stepped into the kitchen.
“Oh, so now it's my child?”
“Well, you put it in me, didn't you?” you teased.
He walked up to you and hugged you from behind, his hands slowly moving up and down your bump. “That's right,” he murmured proudly, pulling the collar of your blouse to the side to kiss your neck and shoulder.
“Can't keep your hands away, can you?” you asked, closing your eyes and turning off the tap.
“Why would I when you're always so damn pretty and with my baby in you?” One of his hands slid up to your cleavage and you turned around, leaning against the edge of the counter and biting your bottom lip in excitement.
You loved how Pete never made you feel like he didn't want you anymore even after you had become bigger. In fact, you liked to joke that he wouldn't want you when you weren't pregnant anymore. While it helped you with your higher than normal libido, it could also get tiring on days when he was especially attracted to you. If he continued like this until the end of your third trimester, you would end up accidentally inducing labour.
Time passed and things got more serious, so now you were just waiting until your packed hospital bag would be needed. The nursery was ready, including toys, framed pictures and a wardrobe of clothes that were so adorably tiny you couldn't wait to dress the little one in them.
Everyone in your social circle knew you were expecting and while you didn't throw a party or were planning to have one after the birth, your family and friends had visited you at one point or another to bring little gifts for the baby or simply offer a helping hand if needed.
You had also picked out names for both genders and written them down in case your minds went blank in the moment.
“Do you want it to be a boy or a girl?” you asked, lying next to him with his arm around your shoulder.
“I'll be happy with either, as long as it vaguely resembles me,” he replied, his lips curling into a smile as he tugged at your knitted blanket to cover both of you.
“I hope it has your nose,” you said.
“Oh no, anything but that,” he chuckled. “Eyes or lips would be fine, or even cheekbones.”
You lifted your head and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. “Eyes would be nice, yeah. But I really think your nose is pretty.”
Pete scrunched up his nose as you kissed it, but then he smiled. “Thank you, love. However, it would win the genetic lottery if it looked much like you.”
“In that case, it better have your talent.” You smiled and cupped his face, kissing him softly. He wanted to hold you tightly, but in fear of crushing the baby, he gently placed his hands on your sides.
“I can't believe these six months passed so quickly,” Pete said, sounding fascinated yet a little sad.
“Don't worry, soon comes the part when we actually get to spend time with our child,” you pointed out. “And we'll have at least 18 years of that, isn't that something?”
“I can't wait. I love you.” He reached down to stroke your belly with a big smile. “And you too.”

We'll drink a drink a drink to Lily the Pink, the Pink, the Pink!
Anyone familiar with that song? The lyrics talk about the "medicinal compound" invented by Lily the Pink, and chronicle the "efficacious" cures it has brought about, such as inducing morbid obesity to cure a weak appetite.
Lydia E. Pinkham brand "Vegetable Compound", containing extract of Piscidia Erythrina (Jamaica Dogwood), Asclepias Tuberosa (Pleurisy Root), Cimicifuga Racemosa (Black Cohosh), Vitamin B1, Dandelion, and other ingredients.
Lydia E. Pinkham, née Estes, (1819-1883) was an American proprietor who commodified her homemade herbal-alcoholic supplements, claiming they could cure any “female complaint” from menstrual discomfort to a prolapsed uterus. Pinkham began making her medicine as a home remedy, which she freely shared with family and friends. In 1875, her “Vegetable Compound” made its debut commercial appearance for $1 a bottle. In Pinkham’s life, the business grew from her cellar kitchen to a manufacturing plant that would gross just under $300,000 a year. The product is still sold today in a modified form.
Though medical experts dismissed Pinkham’s products as quack remedies, the supplements’ popularity among women persisted. Aggressive marketing of Pinkham's products contributed to their acceptance by women; slogans such as “Only a woman can understand a woman’s ills,” targeted the many women who were hesitant to consult male physicians about menstruation or other women’s health issues.

Introduction
A small cottage sits on the border of a little village.
Months pass and the cottage sees little in the way of visitors.
The Summer leaves vibrate and wave to and fro in the light breeze.
There is a knock. Once. Twice. A rapping sound, frantic. A call.
" Are you home? I am in need of a remedy."
What is hedge witchcraft? I have heard hedge witchcraft described as a blend of green witchcraft, astral projection, and cottage witchcraft.
I have heard it described as a blend of green witchcraft, kitchen witchcraft, and cottage witchcraft.
My interpretation of it is different.
It uses both the magickal and medicinal properties of plants. At least that is the method of plant work I have used within my hedge witchcraft practice.
There is an intuitive quality to it. Journey work tends to be under taken. This need not exactly be astral projection. This can include remote viewing as a way of gathering information and meditative journeying and trance work.
It can be used to aid the home and family and loved ones.
Yet it does involve the community.
I find in many of the descriptions of hedge witchcraft about, there is neglect in mentioning one of this crafts main points.
Remedies and healing methods to bring relief to those in our community, our families, and ourselves.
Magic And Medicine
Here I begin with an example of how medicinal remedies are included within magickal practice in a way that associates it with witchcraft.
Take a magical oil for example. A recent oil I am working on is an oil for the intention of love. It includes Rose petals. Rose has long held symbolism related to love, relationships and depending on the color lust.
This rose used is a dark, almost vampiric red.
Used on the body for love, sex, or lust magic this oil can be adapted medicinally to add a level itself to the intention.
In this particular oil, rose as well as other skin safe botanicals added, help to soften skin and reduce acne.
When embracing, and becoming close soft appealing skin is a benefit and further entices the embrace.
This is an example of a medicinal remedy for magickal use. It enhances the magic and corresponds well with the intention.
I share below another remedy used magickally to give further understanding.
Strawberry leaf tea for self love and relief of menstrual pressure.
Strawberry too is associated with love, relationships, and care. Think of exchanging chocolate covered strawberries with an adored partner.
Strawberry leaf tea can help to relieve pressure and cramping caused by menstruation.
Coupled with loving properties, magic and medicine mix to form a hedge witch spell and remedy.
In my own practice of hedge witchcraft this method of using plants for both magickal and medicinal properties is common.
I have been a bit naive when younger. I thought all those whom practiced hedge craft did this. I thought this because it was always my understanding of hedge craft.
A very natural practice that involved journeying and blending the medicinal and magickal properties of herbs and plants.
When I suffered a cold and had what I needed available I'd whip up a calming tea spell that relieved sore throat.
A mix of chamomile and spearmint.
Hedge witchcraft has been a combination of magic and medicine for me for a very long while.
Flight Or The Journey
Journeying, astral travel, or remote perceiving is just as much an integral part of hedge craft as is plants and their medicine and magic.
Methods include astral projection, meditative journey or trance, and remote perceiving to gather information.
These methods can be accomplished with research, practice, and time put in as with anything that can be learned.
I will not be giving exercises here as this articles main focus is to discuss aspects of this path, rather than it is a step by step guide. Perhaps I will consider a series of exercise articles in the future.
Instead, here I give examples of the types of journeying I practice to give the reader a better idea of what can be considered forms of astral travel.
Meditative journeying
I entered a state of visual meditation. I came upon a tree. I know this tree well. It is an orange tree that has entered my meditative space before. I've sat beneath her numerous times on my journeys here.
I entered a hole in her trunk this day and climbed upward. Up I went along a case of stairs. I got then to the middle of the trunk and walked into a room. A small den like atmosphere. In the corner atop seating and leaning against two small pillows I see an old man. He comes forward into the middle of the room and places down a mortar filled with water. He casts some type of plant or flower into the water and points. I look into the mortar and witness a series of images pertaining to current thoughts and interests that, in my absent mind, I had forgotten about.
This example is telling. The series of images seen in the water filled mortar were thoughts that were within my subconscious mind below the surface. I had completely forgotten about them, yet the visual trance work brought them back to the foreground.
This same visual exercise can be practiced by the reader, however I suggest, keeping an open and non expectant mind while peering into the water. Simply relax and see if anything happens.
Try not to hold expectation.
Remote perceiving with precognition
At home I sat, bored. I had an urge to spend a bit having recently received pay. The thrift shop nearby was closed. Still I wondered if it would be worth a trip the next day. I had an idea. Why not see if I could remote view what could be in the shop? Tickled at the idea I figured I'd give it a try. What is the worst that would happen? I'd see something and it wouldn't be there.
I entered my usual trance pose, normally just to sit wherever I am, and I closed my eyes. I entered the shop through the front door. I was then feeling slightly overwhelmed. Things looked incredibly realistic. I began by visualizing things within the store as they usually are. I was hit with the small store baskets for shopping first. Settled there where they usually are directly across from the door.
I looked over to my left to view the shelf that stands there and began to view the items sitting upon it. The usual candle holders. Etc.
I began down the small hall remembering there tends to be artwork there as I had been wanting to find a witchy art piece.
There against the wall was a small image. A full moon adorned with the view of gnarled tree branches. The branches dark, upon the stark white of the full moon.
Excited I decided to make a trip the next day.
The outcome of this visit was disappointing.
The art piece of the moon eluded me.
A few months pass by.
My niece stops by after a long period of not seeing her.
We sit and chat and she is bored and wants to do something. We decide that since on that day the metaphysical shop is closed to check out this thrift shop, see what we can get up to.
We pay a visit. We are browsing. The shop is chaotic. We are checking out different areas and things, when I get the urge to enter the front room on the left. I am pulled. An employee is standing in the hall where the artwork is, blocking the entrance to the front room. I inch closer, and closer, but no movement. I decide then to circle round and give another look at the other items while I wait.
At last I make it to the room at the front. I begin to browse, I look at a spot on the wall featuring small art pieces. I stand there still. I become anxious wondering why it is I am just starting at this spot on the wall. I look downwards becoming self conscious and there! There it is. A small handpainted canvas piece featuring the full moon in her glory obscured by dark, gnarled branches.
At check out the owner comments on it.
"That is really pretty." She said. Then "Lucky you were able to get it. I was actually about to hang it up before you came in."
Remote viewing is my favorite and is generally my preferred form of astral travel.
Conclusion
I have seen hedge witchcraft described in many different ways and combinations as of late and the only real conclusion I can come to personally is that all of them can be accurate.
There is a slim chance you will find any four hedge witches practicing the same thing.
Many paths contain those personal methods, techniques, beliefs, and elements.
Hedge witchcraft is no different.
My journey methods may not be the same as another's and what each and every one of us sees will be different.
My herbal mixes, oils, and teas may not look like another's.
This is alright and dare I say preferred.
These are the elements that make our practices our own.

Have you ever wondered what might cause itchiness in your breasts? There are numerous reasons that can worsen the condition. It can be uncomfortable, annoying, and sometimes even painful. It is crucial to identify the cause and address it promptly. Let’s examine some of the most common reasons for breast itching and explore effective ways to prevent them. Some of the Most Common Reasons For Breast Itching There are many reasons why breasts can itch, including puberty, hormonal changes, allergies, and even serious conditions, such as breast cancer. Addressing the issue promptly is essential, as neglecting it can lead to more severe complications. Here's a look at the most common causes of itching: Some reasons are as follows: 1. Dry Skin One of the most common reasons for breast itching is excessively dry skin. Some people naturally have dry skin, while for others, it may be caused by harsh chemicals, prolonged sun exposure, or continuous sweating. When the skin becomes too dry, it causes itchiness and discomfort in the affected area. 2. Growth As breasts grow, the skin stretches, causing itchiness and discomfort. The hormonal changes during puberty, pregnancy or premenstrual syndrome can also make the skin more sensitive and reactive. 3. Allergies Allergies are another common cause of itchiness in the breasts. While boob rashes may sometimes accompany the itchiness, this is not always the case. Soaps, detergents, cosmetic products, and perfumes are often responsible for allergic reactions to breast itching. 4. Heat Rashes Heat rashes can cause itching under the breasts due to blocked sweat ducts. This condition traps perspiration, making the skin warm and damp, which triggers irritation. 5. Hormonal Changes Itchy breasts can occur due to hormonal changes during menstruation, pregnancy, or menopause. 6. Yeast Infections Yeast infections, also known as breast yeast or thrush, can cause itchy breasts. Symptoms include nipple tenderness, burning, itching, or stinging sensations. 7. Signs of Breast Cancer If you notice a lump around your breast, redness, discolouration, swelling, or heavy and painful breasts, it is essential to consult a doctor immediately, as these could be signs of breast cancer. Common Treatments for Breast Itching Treatments for itchy breasts depend on the underlying cause and may include the following: Use Skin-Friendly Skin-Care Products Use fragrance-free, unscented products such as ceramide-containing creams, lotions, or petroleum jelly to moisturise the skin. Coconut oil, which has anti-fungal properties, can also be effective. Clothing Wear loose-fitting, breathable cotton bras. Avoid fabrics like silk, which can dry out the skin. Oral Medications Take antihistamines for severe itching or corticosteroids to reduce inflammation. Phototherapy Ultraviolet light therapy using special lamps can help relieve symptoms of eczema. Home Remedies Place a warm washcloth over the rash for a few minutes, several times a day. You can also apply a small compress or cotton square before wearing your bra to minimise rubbing. Avoid Harsh Skin Products Avoid substances like soaps or lotions that may trigger symptoms. Tips for Managing and Preventing Breast Itching Explore these helpful tips and remedies to manage, prevent, and soothe itching for long-term relief. 1. When to See a Doctor: Red Flags to Watch For If the itching lasts more than a week or is paired with unusual symptoms like lumps or pain, it's time to see a doctor. 2. Preventing Breast Itching: Simple Tips Regularly moisturizing and wearing comfortable clothing can help prevent itching from happening in the first place. 3. Natural Remedies Applying aloe vera or coconut oil to the affected area can provide natural relief from itchy breasts. 4. The Connection Between Diet and Skin Health Eating foods rich in omega-3s, like salmon, and staying hydrated may help reduce skin irritation and prevent dryness. 5. Other Skin Conditions That Cause Breast Itching Conditions like eczema or psoriasis can lead to itching. These need specific treatment. 6. Managing the Emotional Impact If your breast itching is affecting your emotional well-being, try practicing relaxation techniques or talking to a support group for help. Dysmenorrhea (Painful Periods) — Understanding the Condition and Seeking Relief
Introduction Menstruation is a natural biological process that occurs in women of reproductive age. While mild discomfort during periods is common, some women experience severe pain, known asdysmenorrhea, which can interfere with daily life. This condition is often overlooked or normalized, but it is essential to understand that persistent or extreme pain is not something one should endure every month.

Dysmenorrhea can be classified into two types: 1.Primary Dysmenorrhea — Pain caused by natural hormonal changes without any underlying medical condition. 2.Secondary Dysmenorrhea — Pain linked to reproductive health issues like endometriosis, fibroids, or pelvic inflammatory disease.
Common Symptoms of Dysmenorrhea Women experiencing painful periods may notice various symptoms that range in severity. These symptoms include:
Abdominal Discomfort and Cramps - Sharp or aching pain in the lower abdomen. - Feeling of pressure or tightness in the pelvic region. - Pain starting 1–3 days before the period and peaking within the first 24 hours.
Heavy Menstrual Bleeding - Excessive blood flow that lasts longer than usual. - Passage of large blood clots. - Need to change sanitary products frequently.
Lower Body Pain - Pain in the hips and lower back. - Discomfort radiating down the legs, making movement difficult.
Additional Symptoms -Nausea and Vomiting — Feeling sick or throwing up due to pain. -Fatigue — Extreme tiredness during periods. -Headaches or Dizziness — Weakness or lightheadedness due to blood loss.
Why You Shouldn’t Ignore Menstrual Pain Many women believe that period pain is normal and something they must tolerate. However, persistent or severe pain could indicate underlying conditions such as:
-Endometriosis — A condition where tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, causing intense pain. -Fibroids — Non-cancerous growths in the uterus that contribute to heavy bleeding and cramping. -Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) — Infection in the reproductive organs that can cause menstrual pain. -Adenomyosis — A condition where the uterine lining grows into the uterine muscle, leading to painful periods.
If your menstrual pain is affecting your daily routine, work, or social life, it’s time to consult a gynecologist for evaluation and treatment.
How Can You Find Relief? Treatment for dysmenorrhea depends on the severity and underlying cause. Some effective management options include:
Home Remedies and Lifestyle Changes -Heat Therapy — Applying a heating pad or warm compress to the lower abdomen helps relax muscles and relieve cramps. -Hydration and Nutrition — Drinking plenty of water and maintaining a balanced diet can reduce bloating and pain. -Exercise — Light activities like yoga and walking improve blood circulation and reduce menstrual discomfort. -Stress Management — Practices like meditation and deep breathing can help alleviate pain caused by stress.
Medical Treatments -Pain Relievers — Over-the-counter painkillers like ibuprofen and naproxen can provide temporary relief. -Hormonal Therapy — Birth control pills or hormonal therapy can regulate cycles and reduce period pain. -Surgical Procedures — If conditions like endometriosis or fibroids are diagnosed, surgery may be recommended.

Types Of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
During a woman’s monthly menstrual cycle, the mucous membranes that line her uterus are shed. The lining, consisting of the tissues, mucus, and blood, exits your body through the vagina in the form of menstrual blood. This should normally last between 3 and 7 days. If the menstrual bleeding occurs at unpredictable times, amounts, and duration, this could indicate Abnormal Uterine Bleeding (AUB). It’s important to schedule a visit to the gynecologist in Thane West to get evaluated for abnormal bleeding, as it can indicate an underlying health issue.
Types of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding
1) Menorrhagia:
The most common type of AUB is menorrhagia. If you experience heavy bleeding that lasts longer than 7 days, results in significant blood loss (above 80 mL per menstrual cycle), and occurs with large blood clots, you could have menorrhagia. The condition can lead to anemia. Uterine fibroids, polyps, and hormonal disorders can cause menorrhagia.
2) Metrorrhagia:
Metrorrhagia refers to abnormal uterine bleeding that occurs outside your menstrual cycle. It could be spotting in between periods or heavy bleeding. Sometimes, bleeding that occurs a few days after menstruation is mistaken for another menstrual cycle in the same month. Polyps, endometriosis, and hormonal fluctuations are the common causes, but the condition could also indicate a more serious issue, like cancer of the reproductive organ.
3) Polymenorrhea:
You may have normal blood flow during your menstrual cycle, but the interval between your menstrual cycle could be shorter than normal. In women with polymenorrhea, the menstrual cycle is shorter than 21 days, which means you might get periods twice a month.
4) Oligomenorrhea:
Some women may have menstrual cycles longer than 35 days. You might go two months or more without having a period. The condition is called oligomenorrhea and is mostly caused by PCOS or thyroid disorders.
Causes and Risk Factors
a) PCOS:
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can be the cause of abnormal uterine bleeding or infrequent periods. It’s a hormonal disorder that may lead to a wide range of reproductive and other health issues in women.
b) Uterine Fibroids and Polyps:
These are the non-cancerous growths in your uterus, causing prolonged menstruation and heavy bleeding. You might also experience spotting between periods.
c) Endometriosis:
The tissues lining your uterus can grow outside the uterus (mainly within the pelvic region), causing heavy bleeding and painful cramps.
d) Cancer:
Although less common, abnormal uterine bleeding, specifically if it happens after menopause, can indicate malignancy.
Treatment Options
See a doctor if you have heavy bleeding (soaking a pad every hour or passing blood clots), prolonged bleeding, or infrequent menstrual cycle. AUB treatment in Thane West can include medication, home remedies, and invasive treatment options.
Usually, mild cases of abnormal uterine bleeding can be fixed with lifestyle adjustments, like practicing stress-reducing exercises, controlling your weight, living an active lifestyle, and eating a balanced diet. A gynecologist may recommend hormonal treatment, like birth control pills or progesterone therapy, to control heavy bleeding. You may consider minimally invasive treatments, like uterine fibroids embolization and endometrial ablation. If nothing works, your last resort is hysterectomy — uterus removal surgery that ends menstruation and makes pregnancy impossible.
