明日からWAREHOUSE名古屋店にて開催する『WILDSWANS受注会』のお知らせです。

『WILDSWANS バーガンディシリーズ受注会』 名古屋店開催期間：2024年11/16(土)～11/20(水)　（サンプル展示期間）

WILDSWANS SPECIAL ORDER WALLET ”サドルプルアップレザー バーガンディシリーズ” 外装：マシュア社 サドルプルアップレザー(バーガンディ) 内装：マシュア社 サドルプルアップレザー(バーガンディ)

内外装に使用するレザーは、ベルギーの『マシュア社 サドルプルアップレザー』のバーガンディ(復刻)を使用しました。

その���、サドルプルアップの原料である原皮の���通量が不安定になり、その原皮の状態についても安定しない状況が続きました。 サドルプルアップを製造するマシュア社からも、サドルプルアップを生産出来る品質の原皮が手に入らない限り生産は難しいとの報告を受け、泣く泣くバーガンディは廃番となったのでした。

現在は良質な原皮を安定した量で入手できるようになったこと、当時と同じバーガンディの色味を再現できるようになったことで、今回のバーガンディシリーズ復刻へとつなげることが出来ました。

WILDSWANSといえばサドルプルアップと言えるほど代表的な皮革でありますが、それはただ単にサドルプルアップがWILDSWANS最古参の皮革であるというだけでなく、その優れた特性にあります。 平均して厚めの部位とされる成牛の肩（ショルダー）を原料とし、ベジタブルタンニン鞣しで時間と手間をかけて製造されたサドルプルアップは堅牢度、耐久性に優れた皮革で、長くご使用頂いてもコシ感が抜けにくいことが特徴です。

今回は残念ながら経年変化後はご紹介できませんが、使いこむことにより鮮やかなバーガンディは渋みのある表情へと変化をしています。
