Thank you for asking about more dishes!! I debated to put either Rawon or Rendang, so I'll talk about more here :) feel free to read while listening to the songs

Rendang (from Padang, Sumatra): Beefsteaks in thick spicy brown sauce (as in, full of spices - garlic, pepper, chili, and coconut milk). The color and thickness of the sauce depends on how you cook it. The longer you cook it, the darker & thicker it becomes, since it contains coconut milk.

Pecel (Java?? I'm not sure if other places have the same name): Rice with a bunch of greens. Most of the time it's vegetable hummingbird (katurai?) and beansprouts topped with peanut sauce. Most people add tempe, eggs, and/or bakwan as side dishes.

Tempe: I think this one is pretty popular. You put soybeans in a bag with some tempe yeast, put it to rest, and open it to get your tempe. Then you can season & fry it, or put it in stews, or mash it into pieces and knead them into small balls called Mendol (which is apparently only native to Malang afaik).

Bakwan: Add a lot of water into all purpose flour as well as instant seasonings (you can make them yourself tho, lots of different recipes on the net). Add corn kernels, spring onions, and beef/chicken if you like. Scoop with a ladle and slowly dip into hot oil to deep fry it until golden brown.

Bihun nanas: I just learned about this dish the other day from my friend from Tulungagung. Just make soun noodles like how you usually would (a type of Chinese noodle - i think you also call them glass noodles?) BUT add pineapple into the mix. then once you've got your noodles, shape them into small cubes. They make sweet tasty snacks, which i think contradicts the point of soun noodles. Everyday you learn something new.
