Dakota didn’t want to be at this party or anything. He just wanted to be at home with his blanket and the tv playing while he drank himself into a hole. He sighed as he had a plate of food and ate it quietly by himself.

A water slide. This place had it’s own god damned water slide. Isaiah was in heaven. Sure, the line to get to it was a little long, but so worth it once he reached the top. Once it was over, far too quickly for his liking, he swam around the pool it ended in, contemplating getting in line again. “What do you think?” he asked the next person he looked at, not realizing he didn’t give any context for the question to them.

Nova smiled as she floated down the lazy river. She smiled as flowers bloomed in the grass around the lazy river in her relaxed state. She hummed as for once she was actually relaxed.

Dinara sighed as she stood at one of the tall tables in the dance room. She ran a hand through her hair and looked around. A lot of possible customers here. She smiled as she sipped her champagne. “What a quaint little party.”

Zaid was bored out of their mind. Their friend refused to give them any more stuff and said they needed to slow down. But now they was just thinking of what had happened with Gareth. They bit their lip and watched as people danced while they sipped on their drink. Zaid rolled their eyes at all the laughing and fun everyone was having, while they were miserable and their best friend just found out they were a vampire. They started to exit the room with the dancing and ran straight into someone, their drink spilling everywhere. “Shit! I’m so sorry. I wasn’t watching where i was walking.”

Serena sat behind the shade of large sun umbrella, reading the latest best seller novel. It didn’t matter if it was particular good, but Serena read anything Opera suggested. She put her book down to take a sip of her tropical (and alcoholic) beverage. She turned the other sitting beside her and smiled. “You enjoying yourself?”

Dorian ran a hand through his hair as he looked around the room. Everyone was dancing and having a good time. He smiled as he had come with alex but the wolf had disappeared. He shrugged and sipped his sprite. He politely waved at all who passed him.

Jaccks stretched as he laid on the chair by the pool. Cat had made fun of him last time when he was shirtless at the teachers convention cause of how white he was. He had put on some color since then but he was still rather pale.

Grayson sighed as he felt the boredom growing. Dinara had closed for this event. Cause it was a good chance to intermingle and get the club out there. He rolled his eyes as he sipped his iced tea and held a plate. “Events like this are boring as all hell.”

The End of Summer Extravaganza was a momentous success, deemed incredibly profitable by Mayor Teresa Wright. When asked about the evening, Mayor Wright had only great words of praise as she spoke of the thousands of dollars that were donated throughout the evening along with the charity auction. Bid winners can claim their prizes and set-up their dates with who they won. The pool party ended in what only could be described as a summer daze. People filtered out of the Hawthorne Country Club pleased and unharmed, to both the Mayor and Police Chief’s surprise as they both had their speculations on another catastrophe striking yet another event in town. The event ended peacefully and without a hitch and the town wants to thank everyone who participated, donated, and contributed to success of the event.
11:27pm, Friday, August 24th. An anonymous tip is phoned into the police station. The party had been fully wrapped up, leaving only behind the stragglers and the clean-up crew. There is an emergency on Wayside Drive. Once the police approach the scene of an abandoned building, they only find one body and no traces or leads of any kind at first glance. The victim is the shy 16-year-old Zavian Richardson, youngest son to the Richardson legacy. Yellow tape surrounds the building as the police have so much more work to do.
Hawthorne thought it was under attack by a prankster, one who was only jeopardizing the town’s safety with sudden storms and bonfires setting ablaze, when in reality it seems that there is a killer and a much more sinister plan afoot. Residents of Hawthorne are urged to set curfews for themselves and to not loiter around suspicious buildings as the fugitive is still at large.
Event 003 has thus concluded with this update. No new threads from the party can be posted. Threads after the update and the following days after the party and full moon can be started and continued as we move forward, along with auction dates. The town of Hawthorne recommends keeping tensions in check during these trying times as fear continually spreads further through the town.

Hunter had enough fun and games for the day, searching for his sister to let the night really begin. He didn’t care about what date he got, or who he’d be going with. His participation was an act to give himself some kind of cover. Hunter walked up to his sister, standing next to her and talking in a low voice for only her to hear. “You ready to go?”

The pool had practically become his home after getting away from Dinara and making an appearance with Viv for show. He still didn’t know how he’d been roped into that one, but it seemed to be going well for the time being. Miles lifted his head to see Mariana walking along the edge of the pool, whistling and making his way towards her. “Just the mermaid I’ve been waiting to see.”

Ben sighed, “I think I’m regretting signing up for this auction. Do you think there’s a way for me to back out now?” It wasn’t something he normally did, or would have ever considered before. Now he felt stuck, needing either a pep talk or some advice to not feel overwhelmed by it all.
