I want to formally thank you all for introducing me to the glory that is Lori + Gristol (platonic for me but whatever floats your boat) interaction, wether it's canonical post game or reluctant mailman!Gristol, because the potential for comedy and / or "This is kind of sweet in an extremely.... Weird way" is just SUCH a good dynamic in both cases.

Lori is one of the only people who actively goes to visit Gristol in captivity and every time she gets asked what on earth she is DOING down there she just answers "Sorry, highly confidential. Hollis would have my head if I said anything." Rumor is going out shes helping Sasha conduct unethical experiments on him. People are theorizing about her being a vital part in keeping Gristol Malik in his place and from committing atrocities. Meanwhile, when she actually gets there the first thing she yells is "Nick you won't BELIEVE what Hillary wore to the office today" the door viewer slides aside and Gristol is already standing behind it gleefully anticipating what's next " The Polka Dot Tracksuit pants?" "The FUCKING Polka Dot Tracksuit pants AGAIN" and then it's just an hour of petty office gossip.

Mailman! Gristol Au is more along the lines of "Woman writes of her Co-workers outrageously loose grip on live as him being eccentric " with a side of "I mean, it's one banana, Lori. What could it cost, ten dollars?"

Lori going over to psychoisolation to fucking office gossip with gristol is hilarious, i love that for her. I'm so glad we are enjoying the weirdest frienship

Real talk: If we go with " This is my Headcanon that I specifically have just because I like the idea and not because it would make any more sense in canon " things, I am very much into the idea of Loboto being Bobbies UNCLE instead of his father. After his parents abandoned him (and probably told people he died to save face) they tried for another kid and this time around the kid got lucky and didn't turn out psychic and got saved from a whole bunch of trauma.

Years later they get married and Bobby gets born and turns out to be psychic, which his parent doesn't have a problem with because society may still be afraid of psychics but it has progressed just a tiny bit and they are open minded enough, but of course gramps and granny Loboto absolutely freak out and "God why must our family be cursed like this?" "We have to do something about this monster! We could send him to the same place we sent the other one?" "....The same place we sent the WHAT now?"

Long story short: Sibling Loboto finds out they have a long lost psychic brother, freaks out at their parents, gets in contact with him and actually manages to get on friendly terms with him and decides it's a GREAT idea if they send Bobby to the same camp he's working near so maybe their child could get to know their uncle better.

....Yes this also implies that Bobbies parent is a very nice open minded person who's judge of character is pretty much nonexistent and deemed Caligosto to be mentally sound enough to look after a kid. Pobodys nerfect.

oh this is ALSO delightful! I'm in love with the idea of Bobby's parent being able to connect with their long lost sibling, even if they don't realize that Cal isn't exactly stable. it would be interesting to see the confrontation that would probably end up happening after the events of Psychonauts 2.

personally, since the timeline of Psychonauts is already pretty weird, I just kinda pick and choose from things I like and go from there. in my mind it takes place somewhere between 1990's and/or early 2000s with the latest being maybe 2015. it might not make sense in some aspects but I suspect there's some weird time warping thing going on anyways.

- gordon wears his hair in a ponytail all the time, only taking it off for shower or at the end of a really tiring day. he complains about it all the goddamn time but would get horribly offended if anyone suggested a haircut 

- in the same lieu, he complains about benrey living with him all the time, but wouldn’t even think about moving or kicking him out 

- that being said, benrey malfunctions every time gordon’s hair is out, and he will keep playing with it while calling it ugly and shitty 

- he watched a lot of youtube tutorials for intricate hair styles. he’s hoping to style gordon’s hair into an ak-47 one day, but he’s only gotten as far as fish tail braid (gordon shakes his hair back to normal as soon as benrey is done cuz he finds it embarrassing) 

- on the other hand, benrey wears a ratty old gray beanie or a drinking hat or his helmet or some other stupid form of head wear that gordon HATES but there is absolutely no way of getting it off his head, it’s like glued to it

- on the uncommon occasion that benrey DOES free his hair, it is gordon’s turn to malfunction cuz benrey’s face immediately opens up so much, and there’s no more of that annoying shadow covering his eyes, and he just looks so sweet and normal and human that gordon just *clenches fist*

- the first time it happened gordon immediately set the beanie on fire and threw it out the window while benrey was in the shower, but the second he came out he had it back on his head 

- benrey’s eyes are entirely black and they don’t reflect light at all. gordon more often than not finds himself literally lost in his eyes, and not only for romantic reasons but because he’s morbidly fascinated by them 

- he doesn’t need to sleep, so he doesn’t most of the time, but once in a while he’ll join gordon in bed if the other asks and when he wakes up he feels like he has the worst hangover ever

- he also physically can’t seem to blush, which used to piss gordon off, but then he realized that the stream of bright pink orbs he releases from his mouth every time he’s embarrassed are as good of an indicator as any

- saying they steal each other’s clothes would not be exactly correct, since their shit got so mixed up they basically just have one giant wardrobe they share (which mostly consist of shitty gamer slogan hoodies which make everyone around them cringe horrible) 

- they have the exact same fashion taste, actually, and it is Bad

- they are most of the time all but physically stuck to one another, either holding hands or sitting in each other’s lap or laying sprawled across one another. they still argue all the goddamn time 

- if they are not within the visible vicinity of one another for longer than an hour, they will seek each other out just to be annoying. gordon will find the most inane reasons to pester benrey, something about his posture or the way he’s holding the controller, and benrey would barge in while gordon is working to demand he feed him doritos 

- when benrey leaves, gordon will loudly announce to anyone within hearing vicinity how he can finally have some goddamn peace and quiet for once and how he’s going to get work done, and then spends the next several hours texting benrey until he comes back. 

- when gordon leaves, benrey smiles and says ‘good riddance bitch boy’ but then just kinda. stands by the door staring at it until he comes back.

Which Lints where the second ones to come to life after Habits tough? I personally love the idea of FK and Habit just ... Wanting to see what happens if he cuts their hair. For science? And Four hours later Kamal walks back into the office and a bunch of Habiticians are gathered around Habit all "ME NEXT" while those tribble like creatures are running amuk. (Kamals instance to not be part of this chaos lasts for five whopping minutes. "Cohm one, arint you a liiiiidle bit kurious?" "...well")

I am almost afraid to ask because there's a chance I will die hearing the potential answer, but Benry in your Sierra comics is like... Very wistful when he gets to see and hold a baby and just... Is Benry secretly a total family man in this story ? THE RUMOR COMES OUT, DOES IS BENRY WANNA BE DAD?

stop me if youve heard this one before, but-- i think benrey has little to no understanding of how humans work. i think in canon he tends to underestimate the severity of wounds-- when he says a dead body is "just sleeping", when he asks why gordons hand is gone after the betrayal, i think he believes humans can come back like he can. my sierra comics happen in a post-canon scenario where benreys had time PLENTY to realize that no, humans are so extremely fragile compared to him, and if gordon dies thats it hes gone forever. so when he sees human children he kinda freaks out like oh shit this baby is going to DIE. so i like drawing him with joshua and sierra having moments like this thing is So Small and So Cute i Must Protect It.

Tbh, in your last comic, you can't tell me that Zira not only could get out of this easily, you also can't tell me he doesn't know what he's doing. There is no way he doesn't get a kick out of showing Crowley off all " Oh nooo, we reeeeally shouldn't". Which is preferable to them catching him alone, cuz then he will just use his insight to psychoanalize them so accurately on their pathetic life's that they decide to go to therapy and become better people from this traumatic experience alone.

why, i’m sorry, but it does seem as though you’re implying that aziraphale… knew crowley would do that? that when crowley called him over, aziraphale expected that outcome? that he, perhaps, enjoyed it very much and would absolutely encourage his wily serpent to do it again should the situation arise?

Just because I read your tags on my dear friends shy lonely weirdos art I just have to add: GOD I CANT BELIEVE SITTING DUCKS WAS NOT A WEIRD FEVER DREAM I HAD AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY REMEMBER IT? I AM SHOCKED! (Also oh hey for early 2000s cgi this show actually still looks pretty decent. It has aged but by god I have seen shows that aged worse)

I tend to be drawn to duck related media, but I’m also a fan of friendships that are frowned upon by the rest of society. It appeals to my gay heart. Like, yes, for CGI made for television, it wasn’t that bad. And I enjoyed the slapstick. It wasn’t my favorite show ever, but for what it was? I enjoyed it!

A weird thought I had because I saw your “Knoxes are strong” hc and that got me thinking and realizing that nether Sam or Guy seem to have any trouble carrying MR Jenkins in their briefcases and nether of them notice the swap till they get back to their place, implying that he weighs about as much as Guys invention, which is made out of metal and uh, I am not sure how heavy ether of them are supposed to be, but ether they are lighter than you would think or Sam IS ALSO STRONG AS HECK. DISCUSS?!

oh i love that idea yes! sam is slight and nimble but he’s also strong for his size, with most of his difficulty carrying things coming from the fact that some stuff is just Bigger than him 

meanwhile guy is sturdy, he’s tall and heavy and just has an over all strength

which is why it surprises him when sam tries to pick him up and actually manages to lift him a good bit, like what we see in Mouse. he can only hold him up for a few seconds cus Sam Is Tiny but the fact that he did it at all 

then you have guy who can just pick sam up and move him whenever he wants to, no sweat at all

The Lilli vs. Norma psychic battle post is a gift but all I can think about how is " So basically Norma+Lilli anime rivals / frenemies relationship when?" They make it to adulthood and are both highly esteemed psychonauts at this point and yet whenever they see each other it's just "Yes. My nemesis. I shall best you in psychic combat and show you who the true champion is once and for all." "Lilli please it's been 15 years I am not even mad at Norma anymo-" "Shut up Pooter and let me battle your wife!" And then they basically just do the psychic equivalent of putting each other into headlocks and giving each other wet Willie's for ten minutes.

im so glad the appropriate levels of "our battle shall be legendary!!" rivalry beginnings are apparent in that drawing lol

the first duel ends in a stalemate and ever sense then theyve both been determined to win, lili bc shes got gumption and spite, norma bc like hell shes letting a kid like 3-5 years younger than her beat her (and yet!)

Random hc time because my friend arent into taz as much: You know how many people draw Lup with an Undercut? I am now convinced that this is the result of her fucking up during evocation practice where she tried to flirt with Barry by coyly playing with her hair... while her hand was still on fire. He screamed. Then she smelled burning hair and she screamed. Then Lucretia helped her fix it up and smooth it out and she was like "this is actually a pretty bitching haircut."

I am gonna join the general opinion here and say that I absolutely adore your book omens versions. And I thank you for reminding me of all the good interpretations of the chars I have seen before the show, a decade ago , since I gotta admit that Sheens and Tennants portrayals of them have kind of erased the original image I had of them. Which is a compliment don't get me wrong, they played them so well that my brain just went all "Jepp, that's Crowley and Zira right there" and accepted it

hhhh thankyou so much! i know what you mean, i used to see so many interesting book interpretations.. i kind of hope people don’t feel like they have to stop with those. i also absolutely LOVE Michael and David’s version, but i think they’re just different enough to me that i can consider them to be another version all together. (they were very in character, don’t get me wrong, it’s just a nuanced sort of thing i guess. the way that i experienced the book verses the show..)
