I heard talk about Light Bearer and how Alex CF was in that band, but that was the extent of it. I was hooked immediately. They quickly rose through the ranks of my favorite listens and has been repeated again and again. With the entire premise of the band being based on the mythos of Richard Adams’ “Watership Down”, their lyrics are dismal and powerful. With riffs to match, they can also pull it back for some beautiful, spacey, atmospheric bits that really shine. This album is the 2nd part of a trilogy that the band wrote, all based on the fall of the Efrafa from the book.
