~ C A F E ~: MuNoN - A BUN Rabb!t's World of Neon
Sooooo here's another silly lil idea from yours truly and more original outfits that are also manmade from yours trulyyy~!!! Yes, so basically I have also decided to return to original-outfit-making and decided to go for a bunny-maid-outfit-thingy of some sort with these two since I love them sooo much and since they're sooo similar!!! I honestly rlly enjoyed doing this and decided to go all out for it and rather than to make them just stand together and be cute, I have made them look like as if they're working in a maid cafe, and not just a maid cafe, a neon bunny oneee!!! Of coursies, just for fun, games, and most of all spreading all kinds of creativity, the usual~!!! BUT IMAGINING THESE 2 MOE LADIES SERVING U AS NEON BUNY RABBITS FRRRR OMGGGG
P L E A S E R E A D:

Blog #6 (Ch. 6 & 7)
Chapter 6
THE DELIGHTS OF JAPANESE CUISINE
“Tokyo is the city with the biggest accumulation of Michelin stars, and it is widely considered the city with the best restaurants in the world. Japan also has the most restaurants per capita in the world. Two basic ingredients in the diet of all Japanese is white rice and miso soup. They are almost always included in fixed priced menus in traditional restaurants.” Pg. 78
While in Japan, I am looking forward to trying many new foods. Here are some traditional Japanese foods listed in the book that I am hoping to get the chance to enjoy.
Unagi: eel in special sauce
Ramen: noodles prepared in different soups depending on the region
Soba: thin spaghetti like noodles that can be served in thousands of different ways
Onigiri: rice balls
Gyoza: meat dumplings
Don: served on rice, can be pork, veal, eel, or many others
Sushi: raw fish on rice or rolled with nori seaweed and rice
SAFETY IN JAPAN
“Japan is one of the most advanced countries with the lowest crime rates in the world. In the land of the rising sun, 1.3 thefts are committed per 100,000 habitants, whereas in the United States the rate is 223 per 100,000.” Pg. 75
At first glance, the numbers are astonishing. Why does Japan have such a low crime rate? Well, some of the reasons for low crime rates are legislation restricting the sale and use of firearms (hmmm), severe penalties for committing a crime, and not much traffic in drugs. Therefore, little crime is generated by that problem. However, the biggest reason is the sense of guilt that accompanies committing a crime. Whatever the reason, it is a very intriguing statistic and perhaps we could learn something from the Japanese people.
Chapter 7
MEIDO FASHION
“The Japanese word meido comes from the English word maid. In manga, there are usually many female characters dressed in maid costumes, which fascinate the Japanese. As mangaka draw increasingly tight fitting maid uniforms, the meido fashion is becoming one of the Otaku‘s favorite fetishes.” Pg. 92
The most interesting phenomenon surrounding meido is that there are actually meido kissas, which are coffee shops with young women dressed as maids serve coffee. When you enter a meido kissa, you are greeted by several girls, who bow to you and give polite welcomings. There are even elegant coffee shops where men serve the women instead. There are many meido kissas throughout Japan, so finding one should not be difficult. It would definitely be an interesting thing to experience whilst visiting.
LOLITA
“The term Lolita refers to a fashion, a style, and a subculture influence by costumes from the European rococo., With touches from Western punk and Gothic subcultures. The term comes from the name of the character in Vladimir Nobokov’s novel Lolita, which became a noun in English meaning “a precautiously seductive girl.” Lolita fashion began in the seventies when some bands started wearing elaborate, frilly dresses and sporting 18th-century French hairdos. girls following this fashion usually buy their clothes at store specializing in Victorian style apparel in Tokyo and Osaka.” Pg. 94
There are many variations of the lolita. There are gothic lolitas, which are the most common, where their appearance is usually rather sinister with a touch of innocence. There are also sweet lolitas, which tend to go for a more “little girl” style. They oftentimes base their looks off of anime or manga characters. Lastly, there are other lolita tendencies that are listed below….
Classic: pursue a more “mature” style, trying to appear more adult than they are
Wa: Mix Japanese traditional clothes with lolita elements
Qi: Instead of Japanese traditional clothes, they use chinese traditional clothes
Erotic: They go for a sexy look, wearing short skirts and high boots

Cute Dresses!
"What do you mean, you can’t do this?  I keep telling you, this is money!” Cherche grumbled.
“I’m sorry, it just isn’t possible,” the desk manager said.
“Agh!”  With that, she walked away, pocketing her gold and the knowledge that converting Valmese gold to yen on this planet was impossible.  There was no way she was going to be able to enjoy her time in this town without money.  As she huffed through the streets of Littledove Hachiman City she pondered her options: she could steal, as she had to have picked up a little knowledge from Gaius; she could literally kill a man if she had to, although these were innocents; or she could somehow get a job.  Whether that job would have to be prostitution, she didn’t know, but any man who even tried to take advantage of her would be tied up, beaten senseless, and then fed to Minerva upon reboarding the Yomi.
A poster, taped to a wall and fluttering against its confines, caught her attention.  While her Japanese wasn’t great, she was able to decipher enough of it to realize it was her financial salvation: a group running a cafe for a convention was looking for waitresses.  Some of the words had thrown her off, but surely this couldn’t be anything too strange...
The next morning, Cherche found herself baffled when she was handed a maid costume by the boss of the establishment.  “This is... frilly.”
“That’s because this is a maid cafe.”
Oh... so that’s what a ‘meido kissa’ was.  That explained her difficulty understanding certain areas of the poster.  “A... maid cafe, okay.”
“Yes.  Now please go and get dressed.  We'll be opening shortly.”
“Of course.”  With that, she headed toward the impromptu dressing room that had been set up... but before she could begin pondering what working at a maid cafe would even include she saw someone who looked uncannily like that partridge-man on the ship.  The only difference seemed to be his height... well, and the smile.  She pulled her eyes away after a few moments, but she kept looking back; if this doppelganger was anything like Iwamine Shuu her time at the maid cafe was going to take a level in danger.

Blog Entry #4
*Please note that my book is a digital copy and does not have the correct page numbers. I will be using the location numbers as my page numbers instead. All quotes are highlighted yellow in my copy, if you would like to see them.* Chapter 6: 1. “[In Japan], I don’t have to worry if I leave my mobile and wallet on the table in a coffee shop while I go to the bathroom, because I know nobody will touch them” (p. 2001). Being so carefree to leave belongings alone, seems very strange to me, but this is probably because I am from the West where crimes are more common. Although I do not plan on testing this theory, it eases my mind a little that if I were to leave something by accident, I could find it again. 2. “Even though at first family life in such large cities might seem difficult, the Japanese urban model does facilitate things somewhat”(p. 2033). It is interesting to see an efficiently working family unit in a very large environment. This is probably because of the centralized systems of society being in reach of every neighborhood: from school to hospitals and many other things. I’m curious to experience this with our homestay family. 3. “They’re stressed by work, there are lots of smokers, and they are heavy drinkers, but the key seems to be their diet” (p. 2061). The combination of fish and little fatty meats along with seaweed and green tea has given the Japanese a very healthy diet. When compared to America, their diet has much better health effects. I have never had the pleasure of trying any Japanese cuisine, besides one or two ‘tuna rolls’ my sister had given me, but I am very excited to try some! Chapter 7: 1. “Teenagers in Japan are under a lot of pressure to prepare for college entrance examinations, a test that to some extent will determine the rest of their lives” (p. 2367). Still being a teenager myself, I think I can relate to the Japanese youth, but perhaps not to the same degree. Compared to Japan, the American school system is much more lax is its competition and structure. 2. “The Japanese word meido comes from English maid. In manga, there are usually many female characters dressed in maid costumes, which facinate the Japanese” (p. 2495). I am slightly surprised by the phenomena that is meido fashion and possibly even more surprised by the growing popularity of the meido kissas. I wonder what being inside one would be like. 3. “Hikikomori is a term used to refer to the social isolation into which many young Japanese are plunged. Those suffering from this syndrome shut themselves away at home and spend their time watching television, playing video games, and surfing the Internet” (p. 2515). Being a teenager, I often spend any free time I have doing these things as well and can very much relate, however, I don’t think I could fully isolate myself and strictly focus on just these things. I think this is because of the Western individualistic and independent beliefs where I feel like I must be a part of society to survive and cannot risk time towards these things as fully as I may wish.

Blog #4
-Chapter 6-
“Employees simply go to work every day,  don’t complain, arrive punctually, and never leave on time - they always have to work overtime.” I can’t imagine how an American might fare in a Japanese low-paying job like working at a convenience store, or as a fast food worker. I find this quote hard to believe, but nonetheless, the Japanese work ethic is well-known , so it wouldn’t be a surprise.
“Japan is one of the most advanced countries with the lowest crime rates in the world.” I wonder if Japan is really as safe as the book makes it out to be. Of course crime still exists in modern Japan, but it seems that theft is incredibly rare, which is pretty amazing considering that America’s theft rates are about 150 times higher.
“The Japanese are the longest-lived people on earth.” This is pretty amazing, I’d like to know why exactly the Japanese have such a high lifespan compared to so many other cultures. The diet seems to be a key part of this, as well as Japanese eating habits in general.
-Chapter 7-
“Hikikomori is considered an illness, and those who suffer from it shut themselves  in at home to the point that they stop going to school or work and don’t socialize at all.” I wonder, is Hikikomori only a term applied to those who are otaku? I know the two go together hand in hand, but I wonder if hikikomori is a wider issue than just those who are obsessive with their hobbies and become antisocial as a result.
“The largest yakuza gang is the Yamaguchi group, with 40,000 active members.” It seems that organized crime is a much larger problem in Japan than random acts of theft or assault, as seen with the Yakuza gangs.
“Among the most interesting phenomena produced by this are meido kissas, coffee shops where young women dressed in maid costumes  serve the coffee.” The maid outfit is definitely a very popular thing in otaku culture, and so a maid cafe doesn’t seem too far fetched. Going to one would be an interesting experience for sure; I wonder how the general attitude of the workers would be?

My Cute and Pervy Fanfic Idea
I have this Fanfic Idea stuck in my head since yesterday since I thought what if Princess Bubblegum was sent into another world where all the girls find her attractive. Remind me why every girl is gay for PB. Princess Bubblegum in Wonderland (不思議の国のプリンセス・バブルガム, Fushigi no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu) consists of seven, independent chapters linked together with the eponymous Princess. - “Princess Bubblegum in Wonderland” (不思議の国のプリンセス・バブルガム Fushigi no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu): While rushing to school, Princess Bubblegum sees a motorcycle-riding Haruko Haruhara in a Playboy Bunny outfit, and falls down the rabbit hole. There she meets various women, including Minami and her Blonde sister Mina, who find her attractive, and panicking, awakens from her dream. However, as she runs to school, Haruko rides past her again. - “Princess Bubblegum in The Looking Glass Land” (鏡国のプリンセス・バブルガム Kagami no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu): While combing her hair in front of a mirror, Princess Bubblegum finds herself kissed by her reflection and pulled into the mirror, where she meets women who find her attractive, including four of the Minami Sisters. Fleeing from them, she returns to her bedroom. - “Princess Bubblegum in Anime Land” (アニメの中のプリンセス・バブルガム Anime no Naka no Purinsesu Baburugamu): Princess Bubblegum awakens to find that she has overslept and missed the anime. She is then pulled into the television by a pair of legs. Fleeing from the women who find her attractive, Princess Bubblegum wakes up to see a pair of boobs emerging from the television. - “Princess Bubblegum in Maid Cafe Land” (メイド喫茶の国のプリンセス・バブルガム Meido Kissa no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu): Rushing to her part-time work as a waitress in a Maid Cafe, Princess Bubblegum finds a boxing ring, in which she is pitted against other Maid Cafe’s employees, including three of the Minami Sisters (Purple, Blonde, and Pink). She attempts to escape, only to be caught and blasted. She awakens, having bumped her head on the staff room door, and enters to find the boxing ring. - “Princess Bubblegum in Poker Land” (ポーカーの国のプリンセス・バブルガム Poka no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu): Princess Bubblegum reads a Dangan Ronpa manga, when several female characters from several Dangan Ronpa series appear to play strip poker with her. Celestia Ludenberg reveals herself to be the “Ultimate Gambler”, and with her defeat, Princess Bubblegum takes her place. She eventually awakens. - “Princess Bubblegum in Outer Space Land” (宇宙空間の国のプリンセス・バブルガム Uchuu Kukan no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu): After seeing T.O.M. being killed off, she accepts his offer to take over as the Heroine and is transported into outer space, where she meets women who find her attractive, including Black!Minami and Pink!Minami. Princess Bubblegum, however, dies in outer space, and the words appears. - “Princess Bubblegum in Sword Art Online” (SAO(ソード・アート・オンライン)の国のプリンセス・バブルガム SAO no Kuni no Purinsesu Baburugamu): While watching Sword Art Online, Princess Bubblegum is swooped into the anime, where the female characters find her attractive. She awakens to find that she has now replaced Kirito, to her shock.

Non Manaka, the bunny/penguin waitress?!?!
My beloved Nonnie~chan is B A C K with another all new cosplay, and this time, it isn't Pripara, but insteaaad, Project Sekai!?!? Yeah, you heard me, a Pripara idol in the outfit of a ProSeka idol's? Exactly. That's the EXACT type of magic that I create on this page! 😑🙃
I also decided to go for Penguin as well as you can clearly see because it was overall just a random thought that popped up in my mind with Non working at no other than Haruka Kiritani's F A V E place which is no other thaaan the Penguin Café!!!!~ and besides...I've always thought that Non'd looks superb in one of Airi especially's outfits in particular...and sooo here is the result!!! Its lovely !!!!!!!
