✦ A few years ago the young CEO of the company OX Tech moved in to Megatropolis...
AND THAT CEO IS OUR RED BOYYY
✦ I'm going to give a brief context--
Many years ago the DBK used to be the owner of that company but then we all know what happened, dont we? Dude got sealed away- and then, Red Son being the heir of everything, took the company and changed its name and uses a human disguise for not get suspicions about him being a demon. But why? Well, to find where his father got sealed away--
And that's the context for now, of course I will say with more details about it in a soon future and fix up my english because I hope it doesnt get confusing to people--

What would the children of tragedy of six lives be like if they were never taken by LBD?
Simple Answer: Happy and loved
More detailed answer: XD
Xiaohua and MK. They would be living with their Baba and Dada, learning from them and growing happily on the mountain. Big brothers, and adored members of the tribe. Their live would have been peaceful and filled with so many adoring family members from the tribe, to Unkeys and Aunties. Both little fuzz balls of powers and free will.
Red Son: The heir to the Bull King, his powers sealed away for his safety and the safety of others. A well known genius who is annoyed by two very cheeky monkey twins XD But has a very sweet little brother Emerald. Living in peace, but feeling a bit empty with the lack of his own energy. Knowing he’ll never be a strong as he was intended to be.
Mei: Would have been living with her parents. She most likely would have grown up no meeting everyone right away, but would have eventually met her Great Unkey Ao Lie and his son Emerald. Would have trained under Ao Lie, and her Unkey Ao Guang. So outgoing and friendly, the heir to her domain and future guardian of Megatropolis.
Emerald: Would have grown with such love and care ,not caring for his looks or feeling self conscious of them as he knows exactly why he is the way he is- and he is proud of it. He would be adored by the Brotherhood and trained personally by all of them. Close friends with two monkey princes and a Bull Prince. Stronger then his counterpart would be as he was hand trained by Azure.
Bai He: In truth. She may have never existed without LBD and her treachery. :(

I don't get the Minrathos vs Treviso situation. Like one city is open canals and no army whatsoever and the other is a megatropolis with a laser cannon floating fort, an entire template order, the magisterium, etc. Why would I go to Minrathos I am sure Minrathos could destroy one fucking dragon. THE HAVE LASER MAGIC CANNONS. TREVISO HAS NOTHING.
This story beat wouldve made way more sense choosing between like the elves in arlathan and Treviso. Minrathos is the capital of a humongous empire! With completely unchecked magic use and an army !

Okay, dont get me wrong, im OBSESSED with this week's 4SD, and even more enraptured with Taliesin's portrayal of the Wildmother. But i HAVE to say something about the whole "nature is fundamentally about starvation and violence", because as an environmental scientist... What a bleak fucking worldview.
Theres absolutly something to be said about nature only being beautiful to humans because we ascribe that beauty to it - there is no beauty without humans to observe it. And i get that the point of the statement is that without the observation of humans, nature is just things killing and eating and starving and dying forever and ever and thats it. But;
1. Humans are a part of nature. That spark of peace you feel when you look out at a forest after years of being in the concrete jungle of a megatropolis? Thats because we are a part of nature. We cant divorce ourselves of it, and i think its a fool's errand to try.
2. Not to "um akshully" the statement, but like. There are definitionally aspects of nature that arent starvation and violence. Like. Ecosystems? Climate? Biodiversity? Have we forgotten about abiotic factors? The statement itself seems to have almost anthropomorphised nature in a way it didnt intend to. Nature is far more than just flora and fauna, and those things themselves do not know violence.
3. Violence is a subjective human descriptor. If we're gonna exclude 'beauty' on those grounds, we have to exclude violence, too.
I leave it with something i think about a lot. Forest fires can be very dangerous. They can be deadly, even. They can raze whole ecosystems, thousands of vertebrates, hundreds of thousands of insects, and mile wide swaths of vegitation. They can be devastating. But if you spend any amount of time studying forest ecology, you learn that there are forest ecosystems out there that rely heavily on the destruction of wildfires in order to not only continue on, but to thrive. The fire destroys disease. It clears away leaf litter and burns back undergrowth so new shoots can join the canopy, and future wildfires only burn long enough to clear the undergrowth again. There are a significant number of species of animals AND plants that cannot continue their generations without the disturbance of a wildfire.
Is there violence in a wildfire? Undoubtedly. Is there also beauty? I believe so.

Any thoughts on what's up with the Accelerated Dynamics nightmare dungeon? The obvious surface is about corporate greed, but how does that relate directly to Jimmy's life like the other nightmare dungeons do?
i've been slacking on the analysis posts a hell of a lot but this is one of the dungeons i've been looking for an opportunity to talk about because it's another one of those inclusions in jatpm that i think gets overlooked because it doesn't have an immediately obvious interpretation like some others do (or, as obvious as is possible for your average jimmy fan). i've done a lot of thinking about it, and a while back had this realization (slight tw for very very brief suicide mention, also obvious spoilers ahead):
kasey definitely put a lot of his own personal grievances with capitalism into accelerated dynamics, but in my opinion it's an incomplete picture without taking megatropolis as a whole into consideration. terminal illness is extremely costly to treat and particularly in the US, it's (in my experience) much more terrifying to imagine being unable to afford the cost of healthcare than it is to actually fall ill and require treatment. even with insurance covering the cost of medical supplies and bills most people continue to struggle to feed, clothe, and house themselves, and that's assuming they do have health insurance that covers the right necessities to begin with.
i say this because i doubt jimmy's cancer treatment was at all affordable given that he's already been through chemotherapy once before, and has spent the entirety of his second battle comatose while his family continues to work not just to support themselves, but to try and save his life. this isn't to argue that money troubles were absolutely a factor in his family's life because of his illness because we don't know much at all about their financial situation--more that this is a terrifying reality for many, many families fighting illnesses, and megatropolis is representative of something that jimmy and his family don't have the luxury of anymore: leisure.
accelerated dynamics is set in a sprawling city landmarked by arcades, shopping malls, theaters, toy company headquarters, and a massive school campus, all adjacent to a high-class beach resort. it's a stark contrast in atmosphere that was likely very intentional--accelerated dynamics is devoid of personality and wonder in comparison to bonita vista or even shinryu and features workplace ambience as its area theme and visuals of skeletal employees hanged outside the office windows. i think a lot of people were incredibly disappointed in mr grouse as a character to see that his humble beginnings had led him to this point, but i think the commentary runs a lot deeper and touches on this incredibly grave aspect of illness and thus jimmy's personal life that can be easy to miss for the trees; mr grouse tells jimmy before the fight that he used to dream of his banking business growing bigger and bigger and that now, with the advent of it having grown so big that it's now expanded into an entire enterprise, he understands the power and influence that money can buy him, but more than anything he now conceptualizes how terrifying it is to lose that wealth.
his dialogue after the fight is an admission that wealth completely and utterly eroded his morals and that jimmy should enjoy his innocence while he can--this is the incomprehensible, horrifying world of adulthood that he couldn't possibly understand at this age--and it's very clear that this is (one of) the intended angle(s) of this dungeon's theme where jimmy will never live long enough to understand the complications of growing older and losing his innocence to concepts like late stage capitalism, but mr grouse phrases his dialogue like an earnest request for reflection, something for jimmy to consider in a way that his brain can more easily deconstruct--think of all the things you could do if you had practically infinite wealth, and the only thing you had to worry about was not having money.
if jimmy and his family had infinite wealth, then maybe they'd be able to afford luxury resorts and theme parks and theaters and shopping trips again. if jimmy and his family had infinite wealth, maybe they wouldn't need to work themselves into an early grave over their child's deathbed.

A World Without Him
Chapter 21
Tang only got a few seconds to process what exactly he was stuck with before he was hauled up by the back of his uniform shirt and onto his feet. He stumbled forward at the sudden force, broken glass crunching beneath his feet.
The scholar blinked indignantly at the rough handling, but he couldn't even get a huff of displeasure in before the soldier was already walking out of the curtained area and gunning for the front exit. Tang couldn't hide his annoyance as he groaned loudly into his hands and started to go after the guy, wiping his face with his sleeve while he tried to follow.
Every one of his steps crunched on the stone floor, somehow powering over all the other noises in the medical tent as he tried to pursue the guy, glass shards almost definitely embedded into the soles of his boots now.
It was uncomfortable, but the growing sense of exhaustion quickly drew more attention. He’d already been drained from that ghost intervention, but he didn't realize how badly he was affected until he couldn’t even take two steps without his lungs burning up. Tang knew that this was a losing battle.
He leaned on one of the empty beds when his head started pounding and looked ahead with bleary eyes. Squinting, he only saw a glimpse of how the soldier seamlessly passed by the staff and wandering patients, seemingly dead focussed on getting out as fast as possible with practiced ease.
The scholar could only grit his teeth as he pushed himself back onto his feet as the body's silhouette got smaller and smaller. As he tried to move forward, his body became more slow and lethargic; he felt disconnected to his limbs, almost numb.
I guess there just had to be side effects for anything giving me a boon here. He thought bitterly, pushing himself forward. He could barely keep the guy in focus as he was already so far ahead while he tried to dodge and swerve to get to the exit himself, noticing the feeling was achingly similar to the streets back in Megatropolis.
Pushing the small feeling to the back of his mind, Tang saw that the soldier was no longer in his line of sight, most likely frolicking outside in the grass while getting further and further away from his tag-along.
Tang clenched his fists at the thought and if you were to ask anyone in the vicinity, they would have said that smoke was billowing out of his ears. Tang silently prayed that he would make the trip to wherever he's being forced without his legs giving up and moving to the Bahamas because of unsafe working conditions.
He huffed a bit at the thought as his legs started to twinge even worse, almost as if they were dignifying his thoughts with a response. Tang just frowned, pushing himself past one more staff member before he was finally in front of the exit. He took no hesitation in pushing the tent flap open and stepping outside, the dirt cushioning the glass in his soles.
A breeze kicked up at his exit, blowing wisps of hair behind him as he quickly walked a few feet before plopping himself down onto the ground, relishing in the feeling of his legs not giving in their two weeks notice. This, along with the nostalgic feeling of grass swaying in the wind, helped him relax.
He squinted up at the darkening sky af6er a moment, seeing how rish blue started to fade into vibrant hues of magenta and navy. As the sun was no longer visible beyond the treeline, electric torches started being lit all across the clearing pathways, giving everything a soft yellow glow as the area began to darken.
Tang just sat still at the view, taking in the scenery as fragments of memories flooded into his mind. A glance at the willow tree showed its hanging branches swaying in the wind, a single torch laying under it for some light amongst the grass. He put his elbow onto his knee and leaned into his hand for a better position, even if he knew there was nothing stopping the pain he would feel from his hunched position.
Behind him, a surprisingly soft voice knocked him out of his trance. “It's almost beautiful by itself, isn't it? If you can ignore the lake filled with mush and the tents covering every inch of solid ground with patrolling officers.”
Tang sucked in a breath and snapped his head to the voice, half-expecting it to have come from his own head and for nothing to be behind him. Instead, he saw Harrison leaning against the monastery wall, a blank look in his eyes as he looked over the clearing.
Tang didn't know how to react, giving the guy a blank stare as he tried reasoning in his head. Did he wait for me here? I thought he really didn't like me. That’s surprisingly nice considering he looked seconds away from maiming someone a couple of minutes ago…
He didn't know what to respond with, only opening and closing his mouth as no words actually came out. He eventually decided not to say anything and looked back towards the clearing, his eyes trailing back to the willow tree. He heard footsteps approaching after a minute, stopping right next to him as Harrison spoke up yet again.
“We need to get moving. Make sure to keep up this time.” He mumbled, reaching a hand down for Tang to grab. The scholar hesitated for a moment before grabbing the offered hand and being hoisted up again, much more smooth and comfortable than the first time.
Harrison quickly let go as Tang got to his feet, brushing past him and heading towards the dirt stairs now illuminated with torch light. The scholar blew a piece of hair out of his face before following right behind, his hands unconsciously starting to fidget with the bell on his wrist.
He tried his best to keep close behind this time, never letting the guy more than 2 feet away from him lest he lose his next guide and get lost in the labyrinth of white fabric. He did trip more than once on the uneven ground trying to keep up, but if Harrison noticed it, he didn't care to mention it as he only kept his head forward.
As the walk went on, the talk with those voices(? Spirits? Ghosts? He didn't exactly know what they were still) pushed to the front of his mind as he got more used to the white noise of the camp, replaying the conversation over and over as he tried to find anything useful he didn't already know.
All he could remember in detail was not to go to the Monastery, avoid Cian as much as he could, and basically nothing else. He frowns at the memory, millions of questions flying through his mind at what was going on.
He did know they had some sort of master, though, maybe a higher up who also put them in charge of watching over him. But why did he need watching over in the first place? (The job itself seemed like a punishment, though, considering those voices were obviously displeased with the work.) What deities are they most likely working with, and who exactly is the master they were referring to?
He doesn't have much to go on. Maybe that's the point, though, as those beings seemed shocked that he could hear and see them while all the info they did reveal was mostly slipped out by the younger looking one in a panic.
The more he tries to think about those things, his powers, Cian’s whole deal, and the apparent upcoming demonic war going on at his hometown if the vague (and straight up) threats from human military with whole towns being blown up are anything to go by… he really just wants to go back to Megatropolis, sit down at Pigsy’s and talk that grumpy cook’s ear off with Sandy, Mei, and Mk while scarfing as many noodles as he can down his throat.
However, he knows he needed to go somewhere other than there; that staying any longer would either break him, or cause trouble to the people around him. He knows what's been going on is most likely highly dangerous with the burn marks, strange dreams, and magic voices floating around his head among other (terrible) things giving some indicators.
He really wishes that it could all go away, that one morning the voices, dreams, and stupid bell would all just disappear. But it can't, not really, unless Mk's mentor has been storing up some magical cure or curse that could cancel out the presumed magic in that cave somewhere.
He wishes that he could go straight to his friends, ask for help, get all the support he could ever want, and end up ok. But it's not like that would happen. They would definitely try to help, of course, they're his friends. However, what could they really do for this? What could they do for the voices? The outbursts? He doesn't even recognize what's happening himself, and he's the certified scholar of the group who's read every legend and story he could get his hands on!
Another problem is that he still doesn't know the extent of how bad his magical episodes can get, if he can even control them, if he could stop them from happening, if he could actually hurt his friends during one of them.
Mk would probably be alright, he's got a good amount of Monkey King's powers with decent durability and is on an all time high right now after LBD got put into the ground. But he can't exactly be that sure for the others, or the city, for that matter.
He remembered what happened during one of his episodes, the foggy memory bubbling to the surface; glass scattered all over the streets and sidewalks. The shards silently crashed onto the unforgiving floor. Did anyone get hurt from that? Did that actually happen?
Tang couldn't remember. No faces came to mind, no news report on the TV or gossip overheard on the street were talking about it. But he can't be too sure, as almost everything after the Megatropolis Library fell was shaky at best and he wasn't exactly focussing on his surroundings.
The Library still hangs heavy in his mind. The screams, the crumbling ceiling, Allan, the poor kid, Mk… he still doesn't know exactly how to feel about that, either. He's seen Mk be reckless before. Hell, he's seen entire buildings go up in smoke trying to destroy one villain, but he never batted an eye. Never really thought about the “collateral damage”.
Until he experienced it. The fear, not even from the fight itself, but from the careless swings that could send tons of rubble towards them at any moment. The fighting style solely focussed on the opponent, uncaring if the missed shots or flying bodies caused damage to the city as long as the enemy stayed down.
That was something so different from the fear he's experienced before. Something so different compared to facing a common foe. Those are straight up. You know what you're getting into, that these guys will try and take you down however they see fit. You know they're trying to stop you, that you have to stop them in turn. You can run, hide, fight, do whatever in combat, adrenaline keeping you standing until you can get away or win at least.
But that moment in the library was something so raw, from not knowing what could happen next, that powers beyond your control could send something crashing down at you at any second, and you couldn't do anything to stop it. That powerlessness, that feeling of dread growing bigger and bigger every time a piece of the ceiling or wall crashed to the ground, was eating him alive from the inside out.
Tang wouldn't want that to happen again, especially not because of him. That was a big factor in why he left, the faint feeling of hopelessness eating at his insides when he's alone with his thoughts for too long.
He frowns at the depressing thoughts, feeling his eyes start to burn again. He knows he should take more time to take these thoughts in, to take them seriously and pick them apart, but he's not exactly in the right environment to do so at the moment as he looks up and notices they’re nearing the edge of the clearing.
He rubs his eyes before focussing back into his surroundings. The glass in his soles still grate onto the floor uncomfortably, but it's lessened by the softer dirt path he's currently walking on. Looking past Harrison, Tang can make out a few vehicles lined up next to each other, most likely trucks based on the cargo beds full of people in each of them.
When they finally get close enough, Harrison leads him to a half empty truck and gestures half-heartedly for him to get in. He walks away quickly after and starts to talk with a different soldier in the driver's seat of the first truck, leaving Tang to awkwardly hoist himself up and onto the cargo bed.
He doesn't recognize anyone in the truck, and he’s silently grateful for that as he doesn't think he can take any social interaction at this point in time. He sits down a decent amount away from the other passengers as he sags in relief at finally getting a longer break.
He does jump slightly as the tailgate of his truck gets slammed shut almost immediately after he gets comfortable, but he quickly relaxes again from the utter exhaustion creeping back into his body.
As the trucks get started and slowly start moving forward, Tang can barely keep his eyes open any longer as he starts to succumb to his fatigue. His eyelids droop as he lazily watches the trees swish by and the torches from the clearing get duller and duller until they're fully covered by the foliage.
He wraps his arms around himself as the breeze comes by again, causing a chill to run up his spine. But that's not enough to stop his eyelids from closing completely and his mind to finally take a rest from the day's events, drawing him into a deep, deep slumber as more trees roll on by, branches and leaves shaking in the wind almost like a lullaby.

Silly Hui Ying (+ someone new?)
Hui Ying Season 2 outfit!
Tumblr media
While Season 2 of LMK was happening, Hui Ying was still in the eastern empire. However she does sometimes travel to megatropolis (I don't remember the name-) to get some extra sweets.
Also, here's a sneak peak design of someone!
Tumblr media
To put it short of who this is, it's Hui Ying's furute daughter. Atleast my image of her. I leave hui Ying open to ship with others ocs for me to interact with more LMK fans, but also, I don't think Hui Ying would date anyone in the Lmk cast
Soo if Hui Ying does ever get a official lover, this character appearance may change! If anyone has any name ideas, feel free to show them!
Dont be afraid to ask questions!

A Fiery Lovestory (Mk x Red Son) part 11
(I suggest you check out parts 1-10 if you haven't already)
After Macaque finished with the bandages he left leaving Red Son alone with his thought, he didn't want to do much and just lied down on his bed, his thoughts managed to bring Mk into them so now he was thinking about the noodle boy. "Stupid noodle boy..." The fire demon mumbled before his thoughts began thinking about when he was shirtless and how muscular he was.
Red Son lit up with blush and his hair lit on fire slightly, "Why can't I stop thinking about him...Macaque isn't right I don't like him...." Red Son said to himself as he rolled onto his back. The fire demon got up and decided to do something to get his mind off Mk. He went to the library and yes they do have a library in their palace. Red Son grabbed a bunch of books mainly about his fire power.
He read books for hours on end finding them entertaining and they managed to keep his mind off Mk. Red Son looked at a book curiously, it mentioned that fire power was extremely difficult to absorb into an object, he didn't think much of it due to being unaware he made the samadhi fire and eventually skipped through it. The fire demon heard something and reacted to it immediately getting up and conjuring a small flame, Red Son sort of had sensitive hearing like Macaque but not as sensitive.
The fire demon moved closer to where the sound was coming from, but he was suddenly jumped at by something small. Red Son reacted and grabbed it before it could touch his face. The fire demon looked at it and his eyes widened to see a cat, not just any cat Mo the cat! Red Son looked at Mo not recognising it before his eyes widened, "Aren't you the blue guys cat?" Red Son asked knowing he wouldn't get an answer.
"How in the celestial realms did you get in here?" Red Son sighed out, before holding Mo properly and gently scratching his chin. Mo purred and pressed his head against the fire demons' chest liking the affection. Red Son was surprised by this but smiled softly, he had a soft spot for cats. "How am I supposed to take you back without all of them attempting to kill me? I suppose I could just leave you outside the noodle shop" Red Son said Mo in a sweet tone.
Mo let out a meow in protest, "What you want me to come in with you?" The fire demon said apparently now being able to talk to cats. Mo meowed again more happily this time and looked up at Red Son with the cutest and most innocent expression. "W-what on-....fine...you win this time.." Red Son sighed out, "I'm going there dropping you off and leaving" he added.
Mo meowed happily, "Can't believe I'm doing this..." Red Son mumbled before teleporting away with Mo into Megatropolis.

@hyenagirlbulge replied to your post “Portland Pride; Portland-Augusta, Maine, 207X”:
yo is ur shadowrun campaign set in futuristic portland?? thats dope as fuuuuuck bro
i don't actually play and TECHICALLY the setting they exist in is no longer "shadowrun" but it's Basically The Same (based on a TTRPG podcast played in the system that officially severed their ties w/ the setting at the end) and yes it is set in Future Portland. There's a huge megatropolis spanning all the way from where current Portland is to current Augusta and it's all considered the same city now

"Pushing Boundaries, Student Competitions in Games Art and Design"- What does it takes to win? How does participating help?
This time around, we had to do cast studies of an art competition of our choosing, where we have to do a case study on why we think they won, and how the competition may have impacted their careers.
Since I am a character artist, I looked for competitions that had categories for characters. I ended up picking the ArtStation challenge as not only it will have thousands of participants due to how big ArtStation is, but it also had a section that was for characters but rendered in real time, therefore, the models were optimized for games.
I chose the Neo Tokyo challenge as I liked its aesthetic, and this challenge had 5294 participants. These were the 3 winners:
-1st Place:Olya Anufrieva
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fig.1: Neo Tokyo by Olya Anufrieva
-2nd Place:Viacheslav Gedich
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fig.2: Neo Tokyo by Viacheslav Gedich
-3rd Place: Ekaterina Renvirr
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fig.3: Neo Tokyo by Ekaterina Renvirr
I also managed to find the judging criteria for the ArtStation Challenges, it states "Game characters will be judged on creative details, personality and execution of the original concept. The game characters will embody the future of humanity in the megatropolis of Neo Tokyo and will tell a compelling story which produces an emotional response. Strong composition, modeling, texturing and lighting will also be crucial components in an entry’s success."(ArtStation, 2024)
The 3 winners undoubtly present huge amount of skills, even more impressive when they only have 1 month and a half for the deadline. The sculpting in all 3 are highly detailed, their precisness and polish are something I want to aspire to. The technical parts of a game model are also done really well, with efficient retopologies, and not many unncessary UV maps. All these 3 winners are coincidentally stylized, so the textures are mostly hand painted, which was done perfectly.
In my opinion, I think what set each one apart from 1st,2nd and 3rd place, and even those that got nomintated but did not win, was they way these 3 artists interpreted the original concept art.
For example, in the 1st winners case, Olya took this concept by Ruan Zoe:
Tumblr media
Fig.4: Concept art by Ruan Zoe
While Ruan Zoe provided the design and a brief description of its character, Olya was able to elevate the character via storytelling. For example, the background she chose for her render depict a typical Tokyo street, which really emphasizes on how the character is just some average person on some average street. Ruan described the character as a high school student, so perphaps she was on her way to school on her routine walk but she suddenly got a mission so had to change clothes in the middle of the street.
The soft lighting in the scene also highlights in a way the youthfulness of a high school student, which is then contrasted by her violent and edgy design.
In addition, I think Olya has managed to also add her own ideas, with for example, the shiny fish pattern on her casket was brand newly invented by Olya as in Ruan´s concept is just a bunch of scribbles.
On the other hand, the 3rd place took a concept by fish as their reference:
Tumblr media
Fig.5: Concept art by fish
While it is technically impressive, excellenty well reimagined in 3D, I feel like Ekatarina perhpas went too literal and there is not a lot of storytelling involved in her renders. The 3D model looks the exact same as the 2D with no new details, or any new subtle interpretation done by her.
Therefore in conclusion, I have learnt that technical skills while incredibly important, in order to take the egde in a competition is that, even if based on a concept art done by someone else, to try to add even more to the idea done by the concept artist even if subtle differences.
In terms of how this competion moved the winners careers, for Olya I unfortunately was not able to find anything about her, including her linkedin, but I would assume that the competition probably brought her a lot of visibility, network opportunities and lots of interested people or companies approaching her.
For Viacheslav, I found his linkedin, and he has been working for a while for the same company, so while the competition did not necessarily make him jump to another company or anything, the benefits he reaped were the same as Olyas.
Lastly, for Ekaterina, she was working for one studio whilst during the competion, however, since 2023, she has moved to another and has been able to work on Fornite characters. While the competition might have not directly given her that job, I assume that all the networking and visibility she has gained from winning, might have helped her land that new job.
In conclusion, I have learnt that competion take a lot of mastery over skills and creativity to win, but the rewards of participating, even if you do not win, the benefits it can provide will very likely help you in the long run.
