My opinion on Starscream and Megatron's relationship in Transformers One

Unlike other Transformers universes, in this movie Starscream is older than Megatron, which felt weird at first since we're used to Megatron being much older than Starscream.

The size difference was noticeable since while Starscream is usually small for Megatron causing him to be afraid of him, in this one Starscream is bigger but despite that, D-16 is not afraid of him.

Starscream was the one who created the Decepticons, although they had another name before they were called that. Showing us the leadership and persuasion skills that Starscream had to lead the group.

Even though Starscream lost his position as leader, as strange as it may sound, Starscream felt respect and admiration towards Megatron.

In a roleplay I’ve been doing with several people, Megatron ( @galactic-poet ) is going to be captured and pretty much tortured, unknowingly bringing a sliver of Starscream’s spark (he’s been dead for a bit now and his spark was busted into pieces by his “uncle”). Starscream uses it to filter energy through in order to cause a blackout in the operation room. :))c In doing so, sacrificing several of his spark’s shards and ruining the chances of it being in one piece again.

What happens when the long war on Cybertron is 'almost' won by the Autobots?

Instead of the Autobots fleeing to Earth, it’s the Decepticons who find themselves in that role.

Led by Megatron, the Decepticons navigate the Nemesis to a new habitable planet. Not Earth, but Kepler—a planet resembling Earth with inhabitants that look like Cybertronians but lack the ability to transform. As the leader of the Decepticons, Megatron must figure out how he and his comrades can survive on this new world.

Many events unfold during their stay, slowly changing their perspectives, especially regarding their motivations for being Decepticons.
