Posting extremely late, but this is the Christmas card I made for @missingrache ! ^_^ It’s Dream and Hob on a Christmas date with Dream making it extra festive with images from Clara’s dream of the Nutcracker World! ^_^ While my only knowledge of Sandman is from friends squeeing about it + researching for making cards for Rachel, I feel like these two have become one of those ship-in-laws for me. Aka even though I'm not in the fandom, I really love their ship dynamic and enjoy seeing the fanart of them when it crosses my dash. ^_^

Posting extremely late, but this is the Christmas card I made for @godtier1! It’s Touya and Yukito from Cardcaptor Sakura baking Christmas cookies! ^_^ I'm always so happy that Allie requests these two for Christmas every year (it really is a little series at this point XD ) because it's so much fun getting to draw my OTP! ^_^ <3

This is the Christmas card I made for @godtier1 ! ^_^ I went with the usual Touya and Yukito celebrating Christmas (hehe it’s like a series at this point) since that always seems to make her happy. ^_^ But since this year I didn’t get the time off at Christmas I usually do and all my regular days off were Murphy’s Law days where I wasn’t able to work on cards, I didn’t even have this sketched before the Christmas season ended. ^^; So I decided to change it up and make it more of a winter-themed Touyuki card with some Christmas colors, rather than overtly Christmas-y like my initial plan.

Posting extremely late, but this is the Christmas card for @lycorogue! It’s Miyo and Kudo from My Happy Marriage! ^_^ Instead of poinsettia like I usually do for Christmas cards, I went with camellia because they’re red like poinsettia, are a symbol of New Year’s in Japan, and have a flower meaning of passionate romantic love. ^_^

I love this manga and anime, Miyo and Kudo are just too cute! ^_^ <3 So I had a lot of fun getting to draw this for Dana! :D

It’s Momo and Tenn from Idolish7 at a cat café! 😊 This is also in a way the birthday card for @godtier1 ! 😀🎉

I usually make a colored pencil birthday card for her. But this year she asked that instead of making a card for her to make fanart for myself because it would make her happier to know that I took some time to relax and finally do one of the watercolor projects I’d been putting off in favor of using my rare free time to make art for other people. Which I thought was so sweet!! 🥺 ❤ She even told me to not rush it and that it’d be okay if it was late (I had the sketch done on time, but yeah, the finished version is very late 😫). I have a massive mountain of Idolish7 fanart ideas, but I chose this one because Momo often takes Tenn to the cat cafes as a way to force him to relax (Tenn is very much like me in that he will take tiny breaks every day, but unless forced to he rarely takes big breaks because work always comes first 😅). So it’s basically what Allie wanted me to do with this art! 😊Momo and Tenn are also my favorites from Idolish7, so they're fitting for my first fanart from this show. 🥰Hehe and I had to include the mon plushies as the cat toys because I love Pumpkin Momo and Mouse Tenn, and they both seem like plushies kitties would love to play with. 😆 The kitty that Tenn has is modeled after the kitty I had growing up since he had a Tenn-like personality! 😊 While the kitty Momo has is the one that my family had from senior year of high school up until earlier this year when he died of old age (even though I only lived with him for that one year before leaving for college, he was my kitty too and I miss him so much 😭) since he had a Momo-like personality! 😊 And the kitties in the background are Allie and her wife’s kitties! 😀

So once again, happy birthday, Allie!! 🥳 I had a lot of fun making this and I had a lot of fun at your virtual birthday party! 😀 Thank you for being a Momo-like friend to my Tenn-like self! 🥰

This is the Christmas card for @lycorogue ! ^_^ She asked for a wholesome Honda Family Christmas, so I went with Katsuya and Kyoko reading little Tohru The Night Before Christmas! ^_^ I imagine that Tohru and Kyoko did all those construction paper crafts during the day while Katsuya was at work to surprise him with a festively decorated apartment. ^_^

I'm going to post the finished version in a moment, but I really loved the sketch stage of the painting I did of Momo and Tenn from Idolish7 at a cat café! ^_^ If I had known it would be 2 whole months after sketching it before I got a day off to paint it, I would have posted it back in August when I drew it. 😅 (Also wow I've been away from tumblr too long, everything looks different here! :O The layout and the making a post screen! :O )

This was the Christmas card for another of my best friends from high school! ^_^ She asked for Taki and Mitsuha from Your Name! :D I based this on a picture of that friend and her husband celebrating Christmas in the traditional Japanese way. ^_^ <3

Posting extremely late, but this was the Christmas card I made for one of my best friends from high school! ^_^ He’s Greek and told me that his favorite Greek Christmas song is Hristougenna by Despina Vandi, so I drew that for his card this year based on the music video for it! :D

This is the Christmas card I drew for my very best friend! ^_^ He asked for Nagisa and Rei from Free and this year he wanted it to be Christmas-y (he celebrates Hanukkah too and last year asked for that)! ^_^ It’s been far too long since I drew this ship, so I’m really happy he requested that! <3

This is the Christmas card I drew for @godtier1! :D She asked for Touyuki again this year and it’s fun that now I have a little series of Touya and Yukito celebrating Christmas together! ^_^ <3 I had less time this year to work on cards than usual so it’s probably the simplest of the three. ^^; But it always makes my heart all warm and fuzzy to draw my OTP and I hope that even if it’s a simple painting it makes everyone who sees it feel the same way! ^_^

This is the Christmas card I drew for @lycorogue ! :D She asked for Marinette and Adrien from Miraculous Ladybug as Clara and the Nutcracker Prince! :D I had fun figuring out how to make their normal outfits into the ballet costumes. ^_^

This was an assignment for the illustration class I took this past semester where we had to redesign the DVD cover of any modern Halloween/Spooky film! (I just realized I hadn’t uploaded it here, so that’s why I’m posting Halloween in December ^^; )  Paranorman is my favorite of the modern ones, so I chose that! ^_^ I tried to mimic the style of the ending credits and it was a fun challenge! :D

Late at posting, but this is the Christmas card I drew for @missingrache! :D She loves the band The Amazing Devil, so I decided to draw that for her card this year! :D I listened to their music for the first time while working on the sketch for this and I’m a fan now too! They have like a Florence + the Machine meets Musical Theater vibe to them. While I loved every song I heard, my two favorites were The Calling and Battle Cries. ^_^

This is the Christmas card for another of my best friends from high school! :D Moana has become one of her favorite Disney characters, so I decided to do that for her card this year! ^_^ I thought it’d be fun if instead of the ancestor’s memories she was able to see the memories of the Christmas angels singing under the Christmas star. ^_^ Since I don’t think poinsettia flowers grow where she lives, I used hibiscus flowers instead to be a festive red color. ^_^

This is for Doukyuusei Week 2021 Day 4: Dreams! :D In Blanc Ch 6 when Sajou had that nightmare about how he could never hug his mother, I was expecting we’d get a scene later on, such as at his wedding, where he hugged her. But since we didn’t get that (Kumiiiiiii T_T ) I’m just going to headcanon that the dream he had when he fell asleep at his wedding was one where after the ceremony Kumi came up to say congratulations and Sajou pulled her into a hug. T_T <3
