 AKWARD CLASS FAVORITES PLAYLIST 2022
Bruh! We (I) made it to the end of Akward Class Favorites 2022. I know we’re already sitting in March of 2023, but I’m going to give myself points for showing up, even if it is late. That’s how we’re moving going forward, unless absolutely necessary, we’re going to show up even if we show up late because that’s better than not showing up at all. I thank y’all for following me on this journey and continuing to stick around as I document my life in the form of music and concerts and TikTok and YouTube videos and graphic novels and everything I consume in between. And if you’re new here or just passing through, I appreciate you too. And to quote Fall Out Boy (who is not on this playlist) “Thnks fr th Mmrs” or rather thanks for being here while I share my memories and stories and just talk about this thing called life.
_______________________________________________________________________
Notes:
This is not a strictly 2022 playlist, but the 2021 songs will be clearly marked.
There is a story or flow that I tried to create once again, but you do not need to know any of that to follow along with the playlist. You can listen in order, shuffle, pick and choose, do whatever you want.
That being said if you’re following along from the beginning and reading along, the anecdotes that follow many of the songs aren’t really apart of that story, they’re just extra pieces of sometimes “personal” information that I include because it’s fun for me.
When I’m collecting YouTube links for these songs, I’ll often find a live or alternate version that I really like and will share that instead, or in addition to, the original/studio version. I will note when I do this, however the full Spotify playlist will have the “correct” version.
Also to note, I wrote all the songs like they show up in Spotify, which is why some are capitalized and some are not. (Just in case anyone was wondering,
Key:
⭐️ = Songs that came out specifically in 2022.
🕚 = Songs that came out in December of 2021. (You know the late babies.)
✊🏾 = Songs by/featuring Black Artists.
_______________________________________________________________________
This may be a shorter year (72 tracks) for the playlist, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t really great gems in here and I hope you find something to love. 💛
30/90 ft. Vanessa Hudgens and Joshua Henry - Andrew Garfield
No I haven’t seen the tick, tick... BOOM! musical, because I don’t have Netflix, but this song is so good and it for sure hits at 30.
⭐️ EP. 1: Adult - Ian McConnell
⭐️ 23 - Wilfred
⭐️ What Makes You Sad - Nicotine Dolls
I love this song so much that it might already be a contender for one of my favorite songs of all time.
The video is technically a live version, but it doesn’t stray too far.
Pineapple Boy - Authentic Pines
F.I.N.E - You, Me and Everyone We Know
This was one of the songs that could of made last years list, but missed the mark and decided to stick around to be able to make it this year
⭐️ Blood Runs Red - Matt Maeson
⭐️ IDGAF - AS IT IS
Angels On The Moon - Thriving Ivory
If It Makes You Happy (Cover) - Michael Cera Palin
This song was on the list last year, but I didn’t know it was a cover. Anyway I really love this version and it’s very much still in rotation
⭐️ ✊🏾 Anxiety - Megan Thee Stallion
We support Megan The Stallion over here!
Twenty Twelve - Matt Maeson
🕚 ✊🏾 It’s Okay ft. Tilden Parc - Pandaraps
Didn’t realize that this was a December 2021 release cause it totally could have made my top 12 of 2022.
Jealous Of Birds (Audio Tree Live Version) - Bre Kennedy
Changes ft. Joe P - Jax Anderson
⭐️ Cut Deep - Matt Maeson
⭐️ ✊🏾 Keeping The Light On - Joy Oladokun
🕚 Back Together - The Summer Set
The first time I heard this song I about cried. I’ve listed to it enough now that emotional when I hear it, but it still hits me right in all the feels with every listen and watch of the video.
Didn’t make a missed connections playlist this year, but this was one song I ended up checking out late.
Glorious ft. Skylar Grey - Macklemore
TikTok really had me convinced that this was a new song, but unsurprisingly I’m late to the game lol.
✊🏾 brick by brick - Joy Oladokun
So smooth and good. This one even made it to the voice notes.
⭐️ You Make It Real For Me (Refreshed) - James Morrison
If you’re not a James Morrison fan you should be.
Overloved - Greyson Chance
I said this last year, but yes that Greyson Chance and he’s GOOD!
⭐️ Till We Both Say - Nicotine Dolls
⭐️ ✊🏾 Love You A Little Bit - Tanner Adell
Has the catchy-ness and spark that I love about today’s country, she just better not get problematic on me lol.
Scotty Doesn’t Know - Lustra
Basically I was getting ready for a date and needed music but my CD player didn’t want to play any of my CD’s, except for the Euro Trip soundtrack. A soundtrack to soundtrack my life.
PS: Shout out to the guy who took me on my first date ever, thanks for meandering with me. (Eventually I’ll tell you what ridiculousness I’ve named your car.)
Heaven In Our Headlights - Hedley
Don’t Go Borrowin’ Trouble - Elizabeth Cook
Alone (Acoustic) - Jessie Ware
Washington State Fight Song - Matt Nathanson
⭐️ Problems - Matt Maeson
Both of Us (Acoustic) - You vs Yesterday
The non-acoustic version as well cause I listed to both a bunch in 2022.
⭐️ Thinking ‘Bout Love ft. Warbel - Wild Rivers
Such a good version of this song and it would have made my top 12, but I wanted to give other songs a chance.
✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 Pistols At Dawn - Seinabo Sey
I feel so bad for missing her on the Rooting For “Everybody” Black playlist, however this song is so good and you should listen to it a couple times to make up for my mistake lol. Plus it just goes hard.
Say You Love Me - Jessie Ware
⭐️ Better When We’re Falling Apart - Wild Rivers
FIGURES - Jessie Reyes
One Too Many ft P!nk - Keith Urban
Heard this for the first time at doctors office and instantly was feeling it. That waiting room music was on point that day.
⭐️ ✊🏾 Desmond’s Song ft. Tobe Nwigwe - Johnnyswim
Heavy - MacKenzie Bourg
⭐️ Someone To Love (Piano) - Dermot Kennedy
I love his voice so much and will always ride for a more basic, stripped down version of his work more than the big productions stuff.
1-800-miss-ur-guts - TRAMP STAMPS
Another song that could have made it last year had I listened to it more. At least it’s here now.
🕚 WYD Now? - Sadie Jean
Yes this was a TikTok find.
Clean Slate - Donovan Woods
⭐️ EP. 2: Friends - Ian McConnell
⭐️ Bedrock - Wild Rivers
Uncomfortably Numb ft. Taylor Acorn - Arrows in Action
This was also a TikTok find, but it transcends TikTok. The whole song hits and they were right when they said “they made the next pop punk hit.” - Or something to that effect.
⭐️✊🏾 Liar - Magnolia Park
⭐️ You’re Not My Friend - Semler
⭐️ Bad For Me ft. Teddy Swims - Meghan Trainor
The video doesn’t fit the song for me, however they look good and as always Teddy Swims sounds fantastic.
PS: I’m just glad this was the Meghan Trainor song to make the 2022 cut.
🕚 ✊🏾 Snake Eyes - Disperser CA
This is my kitchen head-bang dance song, I just wish I could figure out the 2 step.
⭐️ Sneakers - Knox
Yes this song is slut-shamey/misogynistic, but I was getting so many of the 30 second TikTok clips of the chorus that I was already supper into the song before the full version was released. Yes that probably was intentional.
✊🏾 go - Cat Burns
abcdefu - GAYLE
Untitled - Knuckle Puck
I’ve listened to this song before, because I own the album, however this is the first time (like as in 2022) I really paid attention to it and I am in just as deep as all of you other Mid-West Emo fan boys.
A Hurt Like That ft. Matthew Thiessen/Releint K - Phangs
⭐️ Shrink - Marielle Kraft
Mirror - Madison Ryann Ward
End Of The Road (Acoustic) - Boys ll Men
⭐️ Long Time - Wild Rivers
⭐️ German Cars - Matt Nathanson
Not a fan of the music video, but I do love the song.
are you okay? - Winnetka Bowling League
Please listen, it’s just so good. They’re so good!
A live version too, so you can get more of the extra jazzy vibes that don’t quite show up in the original.
✊🏾 Better Days ft. Justin Timberlake - Ant Clemons
No I did not watch the inauguration, Spotify just recommended it to me one day.
High Hope - Patrick Droney
Be - Garret Kato
✊🏾 To Be Me - Desiree Dawson
good girls bad girls - Charlie Curtis-Beard
If I had a twerking song this would be it.
⭐️✊🏾 That’s How God Made Me - Joy Oladokun
⭐️ Who Killed Avril Lavinge? Theme Song - Who Killed Avril Lavinge? Podcast
⭐️ I MISS 2003 - AS IT IS
I know this only bugs me, but they talk about missing 2003 and being 16, however they’re my age and we were not 16 in 2003. I know it just fits with the lyrics and the song, it just slightly irritates me. (Note we were more like 10 and 11 in 2003.)
All My Friends Are In Bar Bands - The Wonder Years
“I’m not sad anymore I’m just tired of this place and if this year would just end I think we’d all be okay.” (For the record I’m still sad, but I’m glad 2022 is over.)
On Top Of The World - Boys Like Girls
I had a hard time picking which song best represented me getting to hear this album live for the first time, but ultimately I went with the one where the title spoke for itself. Getting to see them live was truly a gift.
Hello Seattle - Owl City
Called this my Summer Anthem of 2022 because I got to go to Washington State for the first time this year and yes I do understand why y’all romanticize the Pacific North West.
It could have also been The Washington State Fight Song by Matt Nathanson, however I couldn’t turn my back on high school me and our love for the album Ocean Eyes.

Deleted scene - 4 of ?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
14 INT. THE COTTAGE (KITCHEN) -- DAY
Chuck comes down for lunch. Gloria and Meg are at the table. Mother is at the stove cooking canned ravioli.
MOTHER: So the long and short of it is I haven’t got a date.
GLORIA: Barry must be seeing a new bimbo.
MOTHER: Oh probably, course he’d never tell me. I’m the Platonic girlfriend.
GLORIA: Morning Charles. How’s the studying going?
CHUCK: Fine.
GLORIA: Tres bien. Qu’est-ce que tu etudies aujourd’hui?
Chuck looks over blankly.
GLORIA (CONT.): Lis-tu Virgil deja?
CHUCK: Spanish isn’t on the exam.
Mother and Gloria have a chuckle, Meg tries to suppress a grin.
MOTHER: Oh, Charles.
Mother serves the ravioli. Chuck looks glum.
MEG: What about Mr. Patton, Mother? Wouldn’t he take you to the party?
GLORIA: Megan! He’s practically bald!
MOTHER: Oh, I don’t mind a bare spot. As long as they don’t try to hide it with a ridiculous flop of hair...
CHUCK (to Gloria): Like your sometime boyfriend.
GLORIA: Don’t be ridiculous, slime.
CHUCK: It’s true. His hair’s retreating so fast you can see the Neanderthal ski slope on his forehead.
Mother and Meg giggle. But Gloria is the master of the putdown.
GLORIA: Charles, having you criticize someone else’s intelligence is like sending a retard to Harvard. That’s an analogy. Do you know what an analogy is Charles? I’ll give you a hint: It’s not Spanish.
Mother and Meg laugh. Chuck wants to come back with a witticism but all that comes out is:
CHUCK: Shut the fuck up.
MOTHER: Charles!
GLORIA: Aren’t we witty today?
CHUCK: I said shut up.
MOTHER: Charles be quiet... Everyone just think happy thoughts.
ON: Chuck munching his food, sullenly.
15. INT BEDROOM -- NIGHT
Chuck snaps awake in his bed. Gets up and runs over to Gloria’s bedroom. He shakes her awake and yells:
CHUCK: Analogy! Gloria is to sisterhood what the Boston Strangler is to brotherhood!
He leaves her startled and heads back to bed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This deleted scene (well, two deleted scenes, technically) was transcribed from an early draft of The Man Without a Face (1993) (screenplay by Malcolm MacRury, based on the book by Isabelle Holland).
It would have occurred directly after the scene where Chuck is reading a comic in bed with his cat and his Mother calls him down to lunch and before an alternate version of the scene where Charles is told by his Mother to stop letting the cat in the house.
The actors involved would have been Nick Stahl, Margaret Whitton, Faye Masterson, and Gaby Hoffmann.

Star, December 28
You can buy a copy of this issue for your very own at my eBay store: https://www.ebay.com/str/bradentonbooks
Cover: The Kardashians in ruins
Tumblr media
Page 1: Fans jumped to conclusions when Taylor Swift who is known to drop hints about her personal life in her music videos posted a teaser shot for her new clip for Willow of herself in a lacy dress and floral headpiece looking very much like a blushing bride -- Taylor and boyfriend Joe Alwyn have been talking weddings and they initially discussed throwing a big bash in Joe’s native England but they’ve reconsidered since holing up in Taylor’s farm outside Nashville so now they’re just going to go ahead and get married in a small romantic ceremony and forgo the church wedding and elaborate reception since they are super private and prefer to do things out of the spotlight
Page 2: Contents, Heather Rae Young scoped out wedding dresses with Chrishell Stause by her side
Tumblr media
Page 4: Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio are heating up the Boston set of their movie Don’t Look Up where their chemistry is off the charts even though both are seriously taken: Jennifer is wed to Cooke Maroney and Leo’s been dating Camila Marrone since 2017 but Jennifer and Leo have always had a flirty rapport whenever they bumped into each other at awards shows and other industry events -- Jennifer’s husband Cooke could be annoyed with all the flirting even if the actors are keeping things professional and as for Camila she finds his connection with Jennifer pretty intimidating
Page 5: There’s plenty of tension on the set of The Morning Show now that Julianna Margulies has joined Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston on the series -- Jen wasn’t in on the decision to add Julianna to the cast and is miffed she wasn’t consulted and doesn’t understand why Reese insisted bringing Julianna on board and she’s just plain hurt that the new arrival has been getting so chummy with her BFF and Julianna and Reese are whispering behind everybody’s backs and barking orders like they own the place and they’re not even inviting Jen to lunch
* Olivia Jade Giannulli addressed her part in the $500,000 bribe that ensured her entrance into USC and sent her parents Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli to prison and reactions to her appearance were harsh with a typical commenter calling her smug but she thinks she did well and figures this will be good for her career as a social-media influencer
* Martha Stewart has been flourishing during lockdown and a new photo shows her looking beyond refreshed leaving some to wonder if she’s doing more than nibbling her new CBD gummies to look so good
Page 6: Kelly Clarkson’s divorce from Brandon Blackstock may be getting ugly but her ex-mother-in-law Reba McEntire is standing by her side even though it can get a little awkward at time but nothing is going to get in the way of Kelly and Reba’s relationship
* A slew of A-listers are about to be dragged into Johnny Depp’s defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard as shocking new court papers allege that Johnny had affairs with a bevvy of his costars including Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley and Marion Cotillard and must submit all responsive communications with them -- the women are mortified and embarrassed they’re being pulled into Johnny and Amber’s tawdry split while for his part Johnny flipped out when he learned he needed to produce his communications with these women and he’s calling the tactics lowdown and disgusting
* Star Spots the Stars -- David Beckham, Chrissy Teigen, Carrie Underwood, Gal Gadot, Floyd Mayweather, Nick Offerman, Hilaria Baldwin
Page 8: Star Shots -- Audrina Patridge and her daughter Kirra out in Beverly Hills, Pete Wentz let his bleached hair down during a tennis game in L.A., Joe Jonas and wife Sophie Turner walking with their daughter in a stroller in L.A.
Page 10: Steve Martin took his meal to go during a break from filming Only Murders in the Building in Central Park, Josh Duhamel and his son Axl enjoyed a playful romp in the grass, Paris Hilton and Carter Reum celebrated their one-year anniversary in Bora Bora
Page 11: Diane Keaton jokingly flirted with the men watching on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in Burbank, Sir Michael Palin brought the laughs during his appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show in London
Page 12: ‘Tis the Season -- Kristen Taekman left a nursery in Encino, a decked out Lil Nas X and Ellen DeGeneres opted for a safe season’s greetings by bumping elbows on the talk show
Page 13: Brooke Burke was all smiles shooting content for her fitness app in Malibu, Niecy Nash and wife Jessica Betts kicked off their first holiday season as a married couple in plaid pajamas
Page 14: Kylie Minogue performing on The Jonathan Ross show in London, Irina Shayk out and about with daughter Lea in NYC, Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld and a canine costar filmed scenes for Hawkeye in NYC
Page 15: Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn showing some major skin during a photoshoot in L.A., Antonio Banderas and journalist Maria Casado posed for photos at a presentation for their new Spanish television series Escena en Blanco y Negro in Malaga, Spain
Page 16: Beach Babes -- Chantal Jeffries and boyfriend Drew Taggart in Miami, Mark Zuckerberg showed off his gliding skills on his $12,000 eFoil electric surfboard in Hawaii
Page 17: Chris Pratt used his hoverboard as a weight after hitting the sand with his son, Julia Roberts enjoyed a solo stroll in Hawaii
Page 18: Normal or Not? Vanilla Ice headlining the drive-in Winterfest concert in West Palm Beach -- normal, Demi Moore wearing big boxing gloves -- not normal, James Franco couldn’t go without his phone during a getaway in Mexico -- not normal
Page 20: Fashion -- stars look timeless in black -- Sofia Carson, Nicole Richie
Page 21: Taylor Hill, Vanessa Kirby
Page 24: Like so many Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are putting their future on hold amid the global health pandemic and Gwen revealed that the two won’t even set a date for their nuptials in order to avoid a COVID situation that would require restrictions -- they have already nailed down a few details like the location which is Blake’s Ten Point Ranch in Oklahoma where he proposed inside a chapel Blake built for Gwen on the 1300-acre property
Page 25: Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are embroiled in a bitter custody war over their sons Noah and Bodhi and Journey -- Brian responded to Megan’s divorce filing by requesting joint custody and spousal support and he’s in a non-negotiating mood and if she tries to take his kids it’s going to get ugly really fast
* James Franco is ready to pop the question to girlfriend Isabel Pakzad and he’s been looking at rings -- dating since 2017 the two overcame a difficult time in 2018 after James was accused by multiple women of misconduct -- surviving that scandal and enjoying their time in lockdown has convinced James he’s found The One
* Kristin Cavallari and comedian Jeff Dye who were first linked in October jetted off to Mexico for a fun getaway with friends where the couple smooched and danced and enjoyed cocktails and had a wonderful time in Cabo but Kristin isn’t looking for anything serious following her divorce from Jay Cutler
Page 26: Cover Story -- the Kardashian empire crumbles -- with their show leaving the air early next year the Kardashian-Jenner crew could stand to lose it all -- ratings for Keeping Up With the Kardashians reached a new low before they pulled the plug and it’s obvious fans are losing interest and they spend money like it’s going out of fashion
Page 30: A Spy at the Palace -- after a staff member steals more than $200,000 worth of her personal keepsakes Queen Elizabeth no longer feels safe in her home
Page 33: Gone Too Soon -- a look back at the celebrities we lost in 2020 and the legacies they leave behind -- Naya Rivera, Kelly Preston, Regis Philbin
Page 34: Kobe Bryant, Chadwick Boseman, Alex Trebek

She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement by Jodi Kantor, Megan Twohey
Tumblr media
On October 5, 2017, the New York Times published an article by Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey--and then the world changed. For months Kantor and Twohey had been having confidential discussions with top actresses, former Weinstein employees and other sources, learning of disturbing long-buried allegations, some of which had been covered up by onerous legal settlements. The journalists meticulously picked their way through a web of decades-old secret payouts and nondisclosure agreements, pressed some of the most famous women in the world--and some unknown ones--to risk going on the record, and faced down Weinstein, his team of high-priced defenders, and even his private investigators.
But nothing could have prepared them for what followed the publication of their Weinstein story. Within days, a veritable Pandora's Box of sexual harassment and abuse was opened, and women who had suffered in silence for generations began coming forward, trusting that the world would understand their stories. Over the next twelve months, hundreds of men from every walk of life and industry would be outed for mistreating their colleagues. But did too much change--or not enough? Those questions plunged the two journalists into a new phase of reporting and some of their most startling findings yet.
With superlative detail, insight, and journalistic expertise, Kantor and Twohey take us for the first time into the very heart of this social shift, reliving in real-time what it took to get the story and giving an up-close portrait of the forces that hindered and spurred change. They describe the surprising journeys of those who spoke up--for the sake of other women, for future generations, and for themselves--and so changed us all.
I’m going to keep this short and sweet. READ THIS BOOK. Or better yet, listen to it on audio. It’s rough, it will make you angry and sad. This is the story about Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, the two reporters who broke the Harvey Weinstein case. One of the major takeaways I had from this story was just the sheer number of women who were “involved”. I say involved in quotes because I feel like that word implies willingness but that’s not the case here. I had no idea there were so many actresses and associates involved.
5-stars.
Megan Twohey is an investigative reporter with The New York Times. Twohey has also written investigative reports for Reuters, the Chicago Tribune and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Jodi Kantor has covered the world of Barack and Michelle Obama since the beginning of 2007, also writing about Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Richard Holbrooke, Eric Holder and many others along the way. Ms. Kantor graduated from Columbia and attended Harvard Law School. But soon after she arrived, she caught the journalism bug, took time off to work at Slate.com, and never looked back. She joined The New York Times in 2003 as Arts & Leisure editor, revamping the section and helping lead a makeover of the culture report. The recipient of a Columbia Young Alumni Achievement Award, Ms. Kantor has also been named by Crain's New York Business magazine as one of "40 Under 40." She appears regularly on television, including The Today Show and Charlie Rose. Though she is a Washington correspondent, she lives in Brooklyn with her husband and daughter.

And The Nominees Are… (Part 2/2)
#younghowzetheatreawards
By Ricky and Dana Young-Howze
Mays Landing, NJ
Venmo: @rndyounghowze
The nominations for the first ever Young-Howze Theatre Awards are finally here! We have been working hard since March of 2020 reviewing over a hundred and forty digital productions. We have been poring over them all since January to bring you these categories and the shows vying for them.
Tumblr media
Let’s remind everyone what our criteria were: Because of the pandemic this year every show that we have reviewed was nominated for at least one category. We picked winners by a very specific set of criteria: What was this show attempting to do? Was it successful? Was it the most successful of all the shows that tried to do this? We apologize to anyone who thought that we would be announcing winners today. We decided that we wanted to save all of the spoilers for the live show on February 21st at 8PM EST. Please remember that even if you only get one nomination it is because we wanted to honor everyone who worked hard this year (every theatre artist who did a show this year deserves a medal). However we understand that specific nominations are useful for theatre creators in their resumes, grant applications etc.
All Nominees should receive a nomination email from us. If you haven’t gotten an email by Monday 11:59pm PST email is at [email protected]
Congratulations everyone! We are so proud of your accomplishments and amazing work. We’ve already seen shows this year that are award worthy. You all exceeded our expectations. Without further ado...

Medea’s Silly Thoughts & Predictions for Pokemon Sword & Shield
Tumblr media
Okay, by the looks of this region (Galar) is based off of England...I think it’s time for some SUPER silly predictions.
The Pokemon Professor for Galar shall be...
Tumblr media
Rowan Atkinson (a.k.a. Mr. Bean). He can be Professor Bean.
Person in charge of Pokemon Storage? That honor goes to...
Tumblr media
John Oliver.
The gym leaders can be members of the royal family.
Tumblr media
Yeah, I’m not too picky. Megan and Kate can be gym leaders to. Same with the two princes. Hell even Prince Charles. Except he’ll probably be the outcast of the gym leaders to Galar.
Tumblr media
He’s been the butt of the joke for decades, I’m not letting this opportunity slip up now.
Tumblr media
The evil organization shall be named Team Galexit (pun on Brexit). Though now that I think about it, that sounds like a cheap Team Galactic. But might as well throw Galactic a bone since Game Freak won’t any time soon.
That’s right, I insulted Gen4, come at me!
Team Galexit will consist of some wank trying to overthrow a monarchy. Or they’ll probably just throw Team Rocket and Giovanni in again.
Or some shit.
That rugby stadium and theme we saw in the trailer...yeah...
Tumblr media
I want to see some soccer/rugby hooligans. Like in the movie Eurotrip.
Tumblr media
The Elite Four will consist of the remaining members of Monty Python.
Michael Palin must dress like a lumberjack. That’s a requirement!
And the champion? You’d think I would say the Queen, right? NO!
There is only one champion! Alive or dead, it has to be...
Tumblr media
Freddie “God Damn” Mercury!
OH GOD MEDEA, I THINK YOU PISSED OFF ALL YOUR ENGLISH FRIENDS.
Probably. That’s why I said this was going to be super silly.
REAL SILLY PREDICTIONS TIME:
This will consist of game prediction and anime prediction.
Tumblr media
1. Scorbunny will end up FIRE/FIGHTING type by the time of its final evolution.
No shit, Sherlock. Everyone’s been saying that this morning.
Tumblr media
2. There will finally be a Corgi pokemon.
That’s more of a severe WANT than a prediction. Because I want one so bad.
3. That “more” indication at the end of Pokemon Direct probably means there’s going to be another game that’s a free-to-download and NOT a Sinnoh remake.
No, I’m quite content beating the dead Sinnoh remake horse.
Tumblr media
4. Ash will be in Galar by the end of 2019.
...Huh...Can we have his Pikachu wear a Sherlock Holmes hat in the new series?
Tumblr media
5. Serena must receive a fucking restraining order from this fucking region.
Fine, I won’t attack Blushy McIdiot.
Tumblr media
Giovanni must receive a fucking restraining order from this fucking region. Stay in Kanto, you twat! My fanfiction depends upon it.
Better.
Tumblr media
6. I will NEVER SEE TRACEY SKETCHIT HERE.
You got that right!
Tumblr media
7. The anime will scout voice actor, J. Michael Tatum (a.k.a. the voice of this sexy mofo) to do characters with accents.
PLEASE DEAR GOD, DO THIS!
Tumblr media
8. The anime will scout voice actor, Ted Lewis (a.k.a. the voice of this character) to do characters with accents.
...
...
99% of the fandom boos at this. Me being the 1% in this says ‘yay’ because I’m still hearing Ted Lewis.
Say what you will about his Bakura, I thought he was adorable.
9. “Wank”, “Cheeky”, “Cunt”, “Cocksplat”, “Twat”, and “Swamp-Donkey” will now be appropriate language for the Pokemon anime.
Hey, Detective Pikachu can get away with saying “Hell”.
10. Some Cocksplat from Canada is going to receive an advanced copy of the game a week before its release, ruining the story for everyone.
I call it like I see it.
11. The game will come out September 20th, 2019.
Medea, NO! It will not come out on your birthday. I don’t care if it lands on a Friday this year.
Fine. The game will come out November 15th, 2019. Remember, this is just a prediction. Don’t take my word for it.
Tumblr media
12. There will be a same-sex couple shown in the game and/or anime.
HEY, I didn’t get my Ash on Gladion smut I asked for yet. I’m waiting here!
I just added this category just to put up Yuri/Viktor stuff.
Tumblr media
13. Clefable will be Nurse Joy’s partner pokemon in Galar.
My silly predictions, guys!
Tumblr media
14. Detective Pikachu easter egg/cameo/appearance might appear in the game or the anime.
Tumblr media
15. A Sun & Moon episode will introduce some random guy who plays Pokemon Rugby and eventually an introduction to the Galar region, which gets Ash excited and more fuel for more Pokeani!
I’m basing this on the fact that there have been a total of 3 sport-related episodes in Sun & Moon thus far (Ping Pong, Baseball, and recently Golf).
Tumblr media
16. I might get lucky with a game or anime character cross-dressing again.
Current prediction on this: Ash will have to help out a theater and ends up in women’s clothing again.
That’s all for now.
