They are pretty rare now. The past few days I was re-reading Fried Green Tomatoes and there are some vague things that happen that'd probably be triggery if I had not been in therapy, but I just breezed past them without incident. I think what made this one a lot worse is because it was a visual one, plus the character in question said something that just kinda set off alarm bells in my head
