💋 Oh no. Oh noooo, I do not envy your position. But, it's not all bad, of course. At least, not at first. Having no prior experience with any version of Damara, or really, any of the Alpha trolls, it automatically puts you in Damara's good graces. A new face is always welcome amongst the ones of those who betrayed, disrespected, and hurt her. She's more than willing to help you out and provide company. You both seem to get on really well together and become fast friends. Though, it is odd how whenever you try to get close to another Troll, she's immediately there to redirect the conversation or find some way to weasel you out of talking with them, sometimes even taking you by the shoulders to steer you away. Maybe she's just protective? She did mention something about bad blood between them. 

👑 Damara hadn't considered worrying about Meenah, though. Meenah, or at least her Meenah, had spent much of her afterlife cooped up within the confines of her castle. Of course. Explode them all to kingdom come and then run and hide after shit goes down. And who's left to deal with the aftermath? Everyone one. It's just like her. But, she could at least be thankful that Meenah's too busy submerging herself in the past. Or, that's what she had thought. She had lost you amongst a crowd of dream bubble doubles of herself and old so-called 'friends', panic gripping her bliodpusher as she searched desperately to find you, only to stumble out into a clearing. Craning her head wildly to spot you, she froze. She had found you, yes, but Meenah had gotten to you first, talking animatedly at you before locking milky-white, dead eyes with Damara.

"Ay, Damz, hook who I found! We were just talkin' aboat ya!"

💋 It nearly made the rustblood boil over with rage as she sat and listened to Meenah talk and talk and talk - about herself, her wealth, her status. As if any of that even mattered anymore. As if she isn't the one who killed and fucked with them all. As if you needed to hear any of this. But, she couldn't just drag you away from the seadweller now, not when you've made an actual connection with her. None of her usual ways to get out of interacting with her old friend group couldn't work either, now that she had a reputation to uphold to for you. Not to mention that Meenah was probably the only one scummy enough to spill about Damara's past to you, so she must settle on sitting with you and stewing in rage at the sound of Meenah's voice, all while making biting comments in Eastern Alternian that she hoped you couldn't understand. 

👑 Oh, Meenah was happy as a clam! Oh, how lucky was she to run into a cutie like you, huh? Someone who could fall into her good graces just by some nice words and grand tales, all while Damara couldn't do a thing aboat it! That's what the beach gets! Shows her, krilling a gill like that… Well, not that Meenah's record gad exactly been squeaky clean, either, but you didn't need to know about either of that! You just needed to be blissfully unaware of any, uh, "drama." Oh, and not to leave her, of course. It's not like Meenah could help it! What could she say, she's a girl who like having things. And she wants to have you! Her arm around your shoulder, a hand clasped either yours, snickering together as she softly bumped her forehead against yours. It was… Sweet. Something Meenah thought she might be able to do forever. And it had the added benefit of making Damara bright red with rage.

💋 But, eventually, like with everything else, Meenah crossed the line. She could have kept her mouth shut and rode out the tentative agreement between her and Damara to 'share' you, but of course not. That's what Damara remembered most. Meenah liked pushing things. Pushing issues, pushing her friends into doing things for her, pushing trolls around. And the heiress hadn't changed one bit. Meenah had pulled her aside with a grin, saying they needed to talk. Meenah wanted more from you. More from you that she 'knew' you didn't want from Damara. So, like a good friend should, she could just… Take you off her hands, you know? Meenah knew Damara was too scared to actually make a move on you, so Meenah might as well be the one to have you to herself. She took Damara's silent, shaking rage as permission, grin nearly splitting her lips. She had finally done it. She was finally superior to Damara again. She could do whatever she wanted to her now, just like before! All was right with paradox space again. And as she turned to walk away and claim you as her prize, Damara Megido finally snapped. 

👑 Your fronds friends (or… something more?) had been gone only for a few minutes, but you were starting to feel anxious. You couldn't remember the last time you'd been on your own for so long. Getting up to look around, your eyes widened as you noticed a large crowd forming. Making your way over, you noticed familiar voices screaming over the murmurs of the crowd. Your friends were in there! Diving and pushing through the crowd of ghosts, you eventually made your way to the front, panting and almost falling over. Your momentary exhaustion was replaced by pure adrenaline as you took in the sight before you. Damara straddled Meenah by the waist, shoving her face into the dirt with one hand and the other scratching deep into her stomach. They were both bloodied and covered in bruises. Damara's hair had become unraveled and messy, giving Meenah the opportunity to pull hard on it as she squirmed on the ground, her maw of razor sharp teeth opened and closed like a bear trap, trying to bite down on something. Meenah scrambled with her free hand and found purchase on Damara's shirt, pulling her forward and knocking their heads together as they both screamed in unison,

"THEY'RE MINE!!!"

At first, it was difficult to call your communication with Meenah even friendly. You were quiet, silent, striving for peace, while Meenah was loud, active and it would seem that there was nothing in common between you, however, you not only managed to get along, but also started dating, despite all your differences and the fact that it took you a long time to start at least trust her, not to mention something more

You have often neglected your own health. Despite the fact that you tried to keep your house in order and clean, you often overworked, could not sleep for several days, skip meals, and every time Meenah found out about it, she was angry at you and wouldn't let you work, claiming that you needed to take care of yourself and your health comes first, and only then do business

You learned from your own experience, even though you often did something with great confidence. You tried to keep an objective view of things, but it wasn't always what Meenah often told you. You didn't always listen to her, but you knew the value of mistakes, so you tried to avoid them with all your might

Despite your lack of emotion, you were genuinely worried about the people close to you, including Meenah. She often told you that you shouldn't have worried about her. Sometimes there were conflicts between you because Meenah could be selfish, but you usually put up with it. You were able to forgive, which was one of the reasons why you continued to be together

It was difficult for many of your mutual friends to understand how you and Meenah just found a common language, because you seemed to be opposites. You didn't think about it, but it was fun for Meenah to watch people's reactions when they found out about your relationship. You were both satisfied with your relationship even despite your rare conflicts. It wasn't something that could ruin your relationship

Meenah, for some reason, harbors a special kind of hate for you… one she can't seem to get rid of.

She doesn't get it either, it's not like you did anything.

Despite this Meenah finds herself picking up on your traits, especially your flaws.

You're already on edge around Meenah.

Her base personality is aggressive, rude, sarcastic, and mean to generally everyone.

Her trying to pursue black romance with you just feels like her… except very condescending and probably worse.

Meenah's black feelings probably just feel like bullying to you as a human.

Or some odd attempt to start a rivalry.

It's like Meenah is trying to coax out the same reaction from you.

The point of a Kismesis is supposedly to have both parties better each other by recognizing their flaws, similar to other quadrants.

However this romance is much more volatile, even with the right pairs.

Meenah already feels a bit weird trying to teach a human such a thing.

Yet not enough to stop pursuing you.

Yeah, poor thing, you're confused and she is too.

That is until someone tells her what these feelings are coming from.

Aranea may tell Meenah she feels pitch for you, for some reason she feels she'd love this human if not for their flaws… making her pitch for them.

Meenah's confusion lessens when she has her theories confirmed, your confusion is still rather present.

Even when you have someone like Karkat try to explain the caliginous black romance quadrant, you just grow concerned.

As a human you want nothing to do with such a thing.

To you it probably sounds like some sort of alien hate mating thing and it doesn't appeal to you.

This may result in you trying to distance yourself from Meenah, which only fuels her black hate.

In fact… a lot of what you do fuels her feelings, that's the frustrating part.

If you attempt to be friends, if you try to avoid her, if you express annoyance or hate towards her…

It all feeds the obsession.

It only makes Meenah want to pursue you more, even if you don't understand how troll romance works.

If anything, she can take the hate you're festering for her as the start of black romance.

Even if you don't mean to do that….

What's worse is Meenah is an entitled troll.

She feels she deserves you and shows aggression towards others with you.

If anyone doesn't like you she'll take it as them taking her spot.

Then there's the issue that black romance can affect other relationships, which may drive her to isolate you.

In her eyes she feels she's the only one you deserve, flaws and all.

Only she can pick you apart all while kissing your face and nipping your lips until you bleed.

If this makes you hate her, then she's only winning.

Making you hate her will make her quadrant feel complete.

Meenah already knows she'll have you as her Kismesis… it's just a matter of when.

Kankri relationship hcs

- please be patient with him, in case you couldn’t tell he hasn’t been in a relationship before and just.. doesn’t know how to act sometimes.

- this is all very.. new to him. He’s been preaching celibacy for so long, so it’s weird to him to now be dating somebody.

- as a result he’s a bit awkward, in fact he’s not even sure how to talk to you. After a talk about it though you’d both decide to act the same, before you started dating.

- he talks a lot, big surprise! But if you actually listen to him and even talk about the subject with him he’s overjoyed, most people don’t listen to his word vomit

- your relationship is slow pace, for awhile it doesn’t feel like a relationship but it will eventually progress

- to him, being in a relationship is a weakness. That he’s forced to rely on somebody else when he can handle himself just fine. So it’s just.. a lot for him

- he will however grow more comfortable as time passes and if you’re pushy but not too pushy

- there was a time he hated any form of physical contact and now he loves it! Sure, there are times he needs his space but for the most part enjoys cuddling and stuff, even if he’s rather awkward about it

- you pretty much always have to engage in like physical affection cause otherwise he won’t ?

The New Home Part 1

The start of a new story I’m writing. I have not decided which character it will be for but, most likely kurloz x reader or ghb x reader 

You step consciously down the dampened makeshift marble stairs that clicked beneath your god tier heals. Your Moirail Meenah Peixes leading the way beneath the earth towards you have yet to find out. When you had first spotted your Moirail in the distance of your bubble,  marching toward you, you had been ecstatic. The last you had seen of your Moirail had been when she had incinerated your whole team. However when she had asked you to collect the other Alpha players you were baffled. Meehan did not allude to why but you did as she asked nonetheless, leading you and your group to the cold goose dump inducing cave you all now travel through. As the cave grew darker, you had instinctively grabbed onto members traveling with you. You look up to the troll you grabbed so firmly to, with squinted eyes, only being able to make out the slight hint of face paint and stitched lips. Smiling awkwardly to the silent clown who had graciously returned the sentiment if not with minor trouble, straining the thread hold his lips closed. Kurloz Makara had always been a close confidant to you, many individuals had assumed you had enters a Matespirt ship with the muted clown. However, that was not too far from the truth you and Kurloz had been heavily interested with the other of late neither one of you were brave enough to voice these thoughts. You had been violently ribbed from your thoughts by a cold fishy back smacking against your forehead. This freezing fish person could only be the back of your Moirail Meehan You could only assume she gave you a toothy side grin you could not see in the darkness. "Jeezz Gill betta watch were your goin" Meehan huffed as you visibly cringe as she spoke though you care deeply for you Moirail you can never quite get her infatuation for puns fish or otherwise. You roll your eyes dramatically at your friend releasing Kurloz in the process "then why did you stop moving" you proclaim dramatically as if you where a child and not a twenty-year-old adult. You had lost your patients as you had descended the filet of stairs in the pitch darkness only having the clown next to you for guidance down the winding stairs. Your Moirail answer left you dumbfounded the simple we're here made you flush with embarrassment as she spoke. you feel as if you for slap yourself for being so stupid but you don't as you skip off the last step and let out a quiet "oh" as you now stand next to Meehan. She snickers before you hear her pushing something heavy scraping against the cold rock ground she blinds you momentarily light as incapsulates narrow corridor your group stands in. Once the bolder had been moved it reviled a hidden cavern that none of your other group had seen before excluding Meenah. Meehan had walked into this newly exposed area with a form of confidence she only exudes when she has produced an impossibly idiotic idea with that notion in mind you follow your companion hesitantly into the open unground cavern. You stare in at the beast before as in shock of the creature as the rest of your group, you could hear mumbles or amazement to hissed swear. Meehan spun on her heels quickly her excited smile showing many of her pointed teeth "whale bouy's and gill's I got a plan" she exclaimed. To say  Meehan had been depressed after the game session had failed was an understatement but if she thought you were going to let a giant monster kills yourself, she was dead wrong. You let out a breath as you get ready to yell at your friend only for her to cut you off "cod guys don't look so scared I got a plan" Meehan spoke making you groan unenthusiastically. An air of quiet met Meehan as she continued her speech "ya sea this guardian here has made us a proposition we can't refuse" she said as her voice echoed off the walls "vwhat is it" cronus' voice popped in as Meehan paused. Meehan started again "whale she is gonna start our game up in another world" she stopped speaking as in thought of her words carefully "a new one" she finished her speech. Honestly, you didn't know how to feel you had another chance to live it sounded too good to be true. Unannounced to you the silent clown had moved soundlessly in front of you only then did you to notice as a gloved hand wrapped tightly around your waist securing you to his side.  Kurloz's doing this gave you a sense of dread for only one reason if he was uncomfortable enough to keep you close then something terrible was about to happen. As if on cue you heard a high pitch scream of Latula whipping your head around only to see her and Mituna disappear as if they had never been standing behind you. You were horrified as you see as all of your friends meet this same fate. Muted by the scene before the you-you turn to Meehan looking for some form os answer to see or just as petrified "what did you do" you scream to her hoping to some form of explanation. That would be the last thing you say to Meehan before the world went dark.

💟 When Meenah Peixes wants something, she gets it. It's not just a promise, it's a fact. As the (former) Heiress apparent of Beforus and, frankly, spoiled brat descendant of Her Benevolent Radiance, Meenah has spent her entire life and afterlife having things, for the most part, handed to her on a solver platter. In fact, you aimed to try to stay as far away from the mini-batterwitch and her group of friends as much as you could. You wanted your afterlife to be as drama free as it possibly could be, thank you very much. And maybe, ironically, that's what drew her to you.

💟 Meenah spent a lot of her afterlife in her castle, isolating herself from her friends and anyone else who may wander into her dream bubble. Perhaps she needed time alone, even an eternity alone, if need be. Maybe she thought herself better than even her friends, only needing herself and her thoughts as company. Or maybe, even, she thought she could even wait out eternity. That she could get what she wanted, the gift of life, simply by wanting it badly enough. Water-ever it may have been - one day, she comes down from her tower. And it just so happened that you caught her eye.

🌊 You felt your heart leap to your throat when hands clamped onto your body, pulling you close. She talks to you as if you've known each other for eons, and she isn't shy when it comes to physical contact, holding you close to her. Her confidence and boisterous nature leaves you speechless, so much so that for a moment you wonder if it's you that's wrong - as though you really do know her, and it's you that's wrong for being uncomfortable. When you try to squirm free and plead with Meenah to let go, she quickly becomes annoyed. She growls under her breath as she pulls you uncomfortably closer. You immediately freeze in her grip, your double-death staring you in the face. She whispers that if you knew what was good for you, you'd be good and obey.

💟 She thinks you're so cute. And you're new. You're not one of her friends, who all either hate or tolerate her… Or vie for her affection. Even all her former, future subjects had known her, fearing for the day she took the throne and would assuredly descend Beforus into chaos. But now, Meenah had no future. But, you were something new. Something to play with and mold and make you soft and obedient and pliable. You're too scared to struggle when she leads you back into her castle. And she likes that.

🌊 You're absolutely adorabubble, did you know that? How you shiver and shake with fear, gold collar and chains clasped around your throat. She comes to you as she plays with your hair, petting you sweetly. You were still afraid, but you'd slowly learn to trust her. What a sweet little pet you were. Oh, she loved you already. She couldn't wait to spend the rest of eternity with you. You would learn to love her, because that's what Meenah wanted. And she always got whatever she wanted, one way or another.
