This whole thing is settled in my Meditrina AU (that I poorly explain here)

Ballister walks into the tavern, with a pink snake draped all over his neck, his shoulders. Nimona likes this way of transportation better, and it adds to the whole "villain" look they're supposed to be going for in this new town.

Niccole — the bar keeper, owner and founder, grins at him, her silver tooth shining with the last sun rays of the day that managed to sneak their way in through the few windows of the place. She is one of those women, the ones that are as beautiful as the few stars that are starting to show up in the pink sky outside, and Ballister has learned to enjoy her company, even with her sour humour, her pranks and horrible habit of taking everything left unsupervised. Everyone in the town has a couple of bad habits, and he's no exception.

One of them is the tavern itself.

"Blackheart, baby! And my favorite menace!" Opening her arms to invite him in for a hug, she quickly started pouring his favorite drink into a cup, smiling ever so lively. "I was wondering when we we're gonna find your body, honey. Rumour had it, you were dead, or kidnapped. I knew, baby, I knew you wouldn't go down that easily. I even bet on it, believe me. I'm going to turn so rich in a couple of hours"

He gave in, hugging her. Nimona switched from his shoulders to hers, barely hissing to say hi. She's tired. They just came back from running an errand, after all.

One of Niccole's habits is betting, too. This one Ballister finds ridiculous. Anyone who's willing to bet against this woman is surely stupid.

"Well, we're a bit harder to take down than that, Nic. But I'm glad to know you believe in us"

He sits down, and takes a small sip of the glass in front of him, tasting it for some second, making sure that it feels okay. Niccole's mostly kind, but you can never really trust people.

"Oh, baby. Anyone who loses a limb and gets up from that is someone who doesn't go down easily" Laughing, she lifts up her skirt, beaming at the wolf whistles that some people give her, allowing everyone around them to take a peek at her prosthetic leg, a beautiful, glittery, pink, piece of art that Ballister made for her. Then, she turns around and starts chatting with Nimona in a language Ballister doesn't understand, spitting words quickly, pouring in some more orders.

The bar's not full, but the tables around them produce a never ending background noise of voices and laughs.

After pouring another glass for another customer, she wips her hands in her skirt, tying and untying her long, brown hair in a low, loose ponytail, and rests her elbows on the wood surface that divides them, finally ready to get down to what she really cares about: gossip. Nimona turns into a bird, and hides himself on Niccole's hair. They're awfully close to each other, both always happy to cause chaos.

"So, baby..." she started, licking her lips. "Tell me"

"About what, Nic?"

"Oh, don't play with me, boy. You disappear and close your doors for two whole weeks. Not even the girls managed to get a word out of you. What were you up to, you rascal? Any important situations going on with the shelter?"

She looks worried, for a second. Ballister squirms uncomfortably on his seat. There was a big, unbelievable situation, actually. A blonde, six feet tall situation.

Trying to get Ambrosius to actually speak to him with clarity, convincing Nimona to let him sleep in, taking care of Ambrosius's wounds, making sure that Nimona actually didn't kill him, cleaning out the spare room on the cabin and scrambling together to make it comfortable, adapting to the sight of fucking Ambrosius Goldenloin everyday... It all took two weeks, and the room is still too unpleasant, Nimona still seems to be on the edge of murder everytime Ambrosius's around her, and Ballister still isn't really sure of how he feels about this whole thing.

"I had a guest over" is all he can come up with, shrugging. It wasn't unheard of, for him to take in guests before they were delivered to the shelter.

"Oh, really?" Niccole arches an eyebrow, and screams for one of her employees to come out and cover her. She jumps over the bar, her long, colorful skirt, turning into a blur, and she sits down in the stool next to him with the agility of a cat. She's fully invested on this, now. "And why didn't you tell, baby? I would've gotten you some food. The others would've done something, too"

Ballister is aware, now, of the fact that he manages his emotions very poorly, but he wasn't that self aware a year and some months ago, when he crashed in this town. Alcohol seemed like a good coping mechanism, back when he moved in. He's generally doesn't get easily drunk, but when he does, he gets loud, talkative.

So, half the town has heard a lot of things about his past. And Ambrosius. A lot about Ambrosius, actually. A lot. Specially the arm chopping situation.

"He's not a shelter guest, Nic" he tries to explain, looking at the door to avoid her green eyes. He can't help but blush with embarrassment at the fact that he's been avoiding her for two weeks to take care of his arm chopping ex. "He's more of a... personal friend, I think. He's supposed to join me here, actually"

Her whole face lights up, and she shrieks, hugging him, giggling. When she lets go, she throws her arms up in the air. Nimona gets out of her hair and flies out of a window, probably too exhausted to keep dealing with people.

The errand was a specially tiring one. They went in a shopping spree with Ambrosius, because Ballister's heart couldn't handle seeing him wearing his clothes anymore.

Ballister fought bravely in the Institute. He was top of his class. He went days without rest, without sleep. He worked out untile he passed out. He ran miles until his legs gave up. He's still sure that there's not a single activity more energy consuming than going out on a Goldenloin shopping spree.

Niccole doesn't allow him to bask in memories, shaking him by the shoulders.

"Finally!" She exclaims, talking to the roof. "Thank you, goddesses! I knew it, baby! I'm so glad you're getting over that golden dick boy! You're moving on!"

He stutters, blushing even more, trying to explain to her that the golden boy and his new roommate are exactly the same person. She doesn't let him, cackling with childish glee.

"You're way too good for that asshole, love! Goddess, wasn't I interested in girls only, I would've asked you out myself so, so long ago" Gasping loudly, she starts fumbling with her hair, fixing her shirt. "Oh, my, he's coming, you say? Should've told me before! I look so bad, in these rags. I would've cooked something for your new lover, honey!"

"He's more of an unwanted and unexpected addition to my household, Nic..."

"Oh, I call my girl that, too. Don't worry about a thing, dear. I'm just happy that you're finally meeting new people. We should organize a party, tell me his name so I can- "

The door opens, and all of the sudden, the sounds in the tavern dies down. Meditrina is a small, secluded town, where everyone knows everyone. Foreigners are quite common, since they're really close to a big city, but they usually stick to the main trail and the few hotels around it.

So it's understandable, that everyone stares suspiciously at the cloaked figure that comes in the Arcoiris Tavern, a place not even the locals frequent, known for being a house to various criminals and outlaws. They stare at the golden hair peeking under the fabric, at he way the man covered by it is hunched over himself, aiding himself with a simple-looking cane. Ballister goes stiff as a plank.

"That's him" he whispers to Niccole, gulping. Ambrosius looks good, with his new clothes. Well, he always looks good, it's just refreshing to see him in something tht actually fits him for the first time in what feels like forever. "That's my guest"

She blinks once, twice, and awaits for the "mysterious man" to approach them. Ambrosius walks in quickly, making a beeline for Ballister once he spots him. It's dark outside now, and his face is light up only by the lanterns perched everywhere. He's still unbelievably handsome, unfortunately. And so stupidly stubborn. He's late only because he refused to go home without buying a new pair of golden earrings, and now there's a pretty pair of teardrops hanging from his ears, catching and reflecting the low lights around them.

"Oh, Bal, sorry, I'm late. I didn't really understand the directions you gave me..." He starts, looking actually apologetic. He's already forgiven. For everything. "I didn't mean to-"

"Don't worry about it, really" Ballister cuts in. Ambrosius apologizes a lot, lately. It's a but tiring. "Look, she's the friend I told you about. Owns the bar"

Ambrosius smiles at Niccole as soon as he's introduced to her. It's the practiced, charming one. She responds with her best grin. The one she gave Ballister when he started coming in, almost a year ago. He offers her a hand, and she shakes it excitedly. Everyone in the bar is staring, eager to get some new gossip.

"I'm so happy to meet you!" Says the woman, breaking the handshake to hug Ambrosius, as if they're long lost friends. "I'm Niccole, Niccole Oakes, by the way. Feel free to ask me for anything. Ballister's friends are mine, too"

Ballister can't stop the next words that are said after that. He can't stop catastrophe.

"Oh, well" chuckles Ambrosius, looking put out by the fact that they're still hugging, but managing to keep his nerves out of his voice. "Pleasure to meet you. I'm Ambrosius, Ambrosius Goldenloin"

He can't stop the chaos that the tavern turns in after that, either.

8. "did your oc get any souvenirs for others? if so, what did they buy and for whom?"

allen: oh, he's so excited about getting souvenirs for everyone! he will definitely get something for avery (maybe something flower-related?), he will get a souvenir for angel too (probably the same handkerchief that silver got for lilia), maybe he should buy something for bunny as well? ah, he probably should get a souvenir for riley too, right. he can already feel others judging him for not buying anything for him. fine, fine, he will do it, not because he cares about him, he just doesn't want others to think of him as a bad cousin. riley will be satisfied with anything as long as it's from allen and he knows it, but for some reason the older boy takes A LOT of time searching for a souvenir that riley would like.. he ends up going with one of the wooden dolls they saw.

seth: oh, okay, okay, he has a whole list in his head! he should get something for minnie, for real!jay, for vance, for riley, for ace, for cater, for kalim- wait, he doesn't have that much money. b-but he wants to buy souvenirs for everyone! and then he realizes that he doesn't know their preferences that well and he's not good at decision-making. he spends way too much time trying to figure out what to buy, rollo ends up feeling bad for him and offers his help.

14. "if they end up dancing with someone, who would they choose as their partner?"

seth: m-maybe rollo will agree to dance with him? he knows that his pickup lines weren't so good today and rollo probably thinks he's weird, but.. maybe he still has a chance? seth is dumb, but he's not stupid and he can see that rollo is also interested in him. also this guy looks so tired, he just wants to see him smile for once!

merrill: sure, he would love to dance with someone, but everyone here is so.. boring. like, he can't see anyone who would be "his type"! AND NO, HE WON'T DANCE WITH IDIA. but he still has to choose a partner.. okay, he'll go with hayden. hey, he's doing him a favor, no one wants to dance with this guy except allen and it's obvious that he hates him.

hayden: he has to dance with allen because he's his boyfriend, right? but he doesn't want to.. maybe he can distract him so that he can go and dance with rollo? what- WHAT DO YOU MEAN SETH ALSO WANTS TO DANCE WITH HIM?? that's not fair, why would he even choose rollo as his partner, that doesn't sound like him at all! uh.. maybe he can ask rollo to say no to him? he can come up with a reason later. or maybe he should just make seth look stupid in front of him?

allen: of course, he wants to dance with hayden! that would be so romantic, haha.. wait, where is he? where did hayden go? they already have to choose their dance partners, why is he still not here? allen thought that hayden would be excited about it too.. oh, what about nemis? she's such a sweet girl and allen would love to dance with her!

roland: meditrina is not here, huh.. roland doesn't think that anyone would agree to dance with him. his reputation is not that good and both nrc and rsa students hate him. but he's okay with it! he's okay with just watching everyone dance! he just wants them to have fun, he's too scared of ruining everything for them.. h-huh? what do you mean, neige wants to dance with him?? uh.. s-sure, if he's okay with that.

fake!jay: he is so confused, no, HE IS PANICKING. he has no idea what to do, who should he choose?? he did think of dancing with one person, but they're not here, so.. and what if no one wants to dance with him? honestly, he wouldn't mind dancing with allen, but he already chose nemis. oh no, he has to choose someone right now, he's about to lose it- did chenya just ask him to dance?

15. "did they expect rollo to turn out to be this kind of person? are they shocked? are they not surprised at all?"

allen: honestly, he didn't pay much attention to rollo because he was too focused on hayden and nemis. but now.. yeah, maybe he should've been more cautious. he's surprised that he didn't realize there was something wrong with rollo before, like, just look at this guy! it's obvious he's not sane at all! allen doesn't care what rollo does to him, he just wants to protect the people who are dear to him.

19. "what did your oc say when rollo asked them about their opinion on magic? did they agree with him? do they also think that magic is too dangerous and magic users are too reckless? or do they think that magic is actually good and they don't understand why he hates magic so much?"

seth: of course, seth loves magic! he thinks that magic is very fun and you can do so many cool things with it!.. but he decided to lie. he said the exact opposite thing. he told rollo that he actually hates magic and that he's very scared of it, he doesn't understand it at all and honestly, he just wants to go home. it hurts him to say these words because even though he didn't care about magic users (especially nrc students) at first, he made a lot of friends and they're very precious to him. but he just really wants rollo to like him and he knows that rollo hates magic, like, he can feel it. hey, it's not like his friends will be mad at him for saying this! ivy lies to her crushes all the time! rollo freezes for a second and seth is afraid that he saw right through him, but.. "i see. i'm glad that we share the same opinion. don't worry, i'm sure that you will get a break from magic users very soon." rollo says he has to go somewhere and seth is relieved, but he doesn't know that his crush thinks that him lying about magic is already the first sign of him being corrupted by other students.

The royal family line is an ancient one, with so many offshoots and branches that if there is a sudden call for someone with royal blood to take the throne there will be dozens of cousins that could come crawling out of the woodwork. 

The main royal family, thankfully, don’t seem to have any intentions of going anywhere, and are well liked by the people of the country and the country itself.

The Basileus

The Basileus of Hesperia took the throne 21 years  ago and has ruled decently. He has not been known for great charity, but he  has in turn not been known for any great cruelty. In his younger days he was seen about the Basileus often on special occasions, walking amongst the  people. However, since the death of the Basilinna ten years ago, he has  withdrawn from most of public life. Public occasions are now mostly attended  by The Crown Prince or The Elder Princess.

The Crown Prince is relatively well liked by the people of the land, and will come to almost any occasion he’s invited to, if possible. He is not always in touch with the common folk, but he smiles wonderfully, has a handsome face, and gives out money like it’s nothing, so that usually goes down well. It is generally accepted rumour that he is not terribly interested in the politics of the land, and has been known to sneak  away from diplomatic meetings to go to the theatre instead. (To this end, his bodyguard also serves as captor when he really must stay.) He shares his late mother’s love of stories, but would rather be told a tale than read one.  

The Elder Princess

The Elder Princess is not quite as interested in appearing at public events as her brother, and common folk are less likely to have stories about the time their uncle went drinking with royalty involving her, but she is liked well enough. Being as she is not heir, people just do not care as much. Much of the management of the libraries and theatres that her mother started she now cares for, and her skill at solving problems is renowned.

The Younger Princess is a cheerful girl, who attends as many public events as she’s able, usually with a scowl when she’s held back from joining in with people due to her youthfulness. It was only two years ago that her title was changed from Younger Prince as it was proclaimed she had made a decision about her gender, and that it had been ratified by law and magic.

Dorm Exchange Program

This was something funny we were talking about but now I wanna write it out.

LUMI would probably go to Savanaclaw. Just imagine seeing a white haired girl with glasses and ice powers in SAVANACLAW. If any of the beastmen even try to mess with her, she just freezes their feet to the floor because she's currently worried about her snowgies melting. Pretends not to see Iris making Leona's life a living hell. Because her body temperature is extra cold, she doesn't feel the heat as much, but she feels out of place with all of these jocks.

MEDITRINA goes from Pomefiore to Diasomnia. She immediately misses Pomefiore because while it's a tightly run ship, she's more comfortable there than in the chaos that is Diasomnia. It's full of powerful people but also insane people that probably backflip off of the stairs. She changes her signature purple flower in her hair to a green one but it feels awkward to her. Tries to fight Sebek at least once. Cries to Blanca about how Diasomnia is driving her up the wall and she wants to go back under Vil's strict regime.

GALE goes from Pomefiore to Ignihyde. It's the best thing because he's going to a technology based dorm. He...sucks at technology. Imagine him touching something and automatically a bunch of the Ignihyde students are running towards him and screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOO DON'T TOUCH THAT, GET AWAY!!" He's with Titus and they're both being the greatest homies, but Titus sometimes pretends he doesn't know Gale. Gale sometimes bangs his fist against Idia's door and says, "HEYYYY WHERE CAN A GUY WATCH SOME MOVIES AROUND HERE?" Poor Idia, he doesn't even know that Gale voices a main character of one of his favorite anime, so he's just terrified of Gale. At least he's better than Iris.

IGNIS is taken from Scarabia to Heartslabyul. Poor boy goes from a relatively free spirited dorm to a strict dorm. He can no longer do cartwheels in the garden because it's against some rule. Luckily, he is in the same dorm as Blanca now so if he ever gets collared, he just proudly goes up to Blanca and says, "I tried to eat a cake." Plays with the hedgehogs a lot. Definitely helps Trey out with the cooking and surprises Trey with how good of a cook he really is.

IRIS, oh the poor girl is suffering with her new dorm. From Ignihyde with all her inventions to Savanaclaw with the jocks. Luckily she's there with Lumi, but it's so hot, and she is dying from this weather. Is that Leona lounging around? Okay, she's going to step on his tail on purpose now. What's he going to do, tell her off? Follows Ruggie around until Ruggie shows her how to steal stuff and the first thing she has to steal is Leona's wallet. She does that easily and then goes to Lumi to ask her to blow some wind in her face. Lumi accidentally freezes her and Leona is roaring with laughter in the background.

NAVIN goes from Pomefiore to Heartslabyul with Ignis but he's definitely not allowed in there as a theater student. Riddle's hair turns white from the sheer thought of Navin existing in Heartslabyul. Tries to go inside but Riddle himself is at the gates keeping them shut with his own hands. Navin's just trying to get to bed, he even studied the rules! Only, he skipped over the rule that says, "Theater shall not partake during the hours of 3 am to 10 pm." With curfew and everything, Navin is not allowed to be in Heartslabyul. He decides to hang onto Blanca as she walks in.

BLANCA goes to Heartslabyul too, which is amusing because she goes to the dorm that her brother's in and she's slightly more chaotic than him. There are less beheadings during her time there, mainly because of her Unique Magic. Probably more loved but she DEFINITELY bribes the others into giving her stuff so that she takes away their collar. "Oh, you want me to take away your collar? Okay, well, there's this plushie I really want-" Riddle tries to talk to her about these guys but she's just laughing as she pats his head. The little brother-big sister dynamic is endearing if it wasn't for Riddle's face going tomato red at the constant vision of rulebreakers no longer with collars.

COLETTE is finally taken to Pomefiore, where Vil is like "FINALLY" because she definitely needs a new skincare routine. Her ears are groomed properly and Epel is saved because Vil is focusing on her for a while. She looks great in the Pomefiore dorm uniform, literally stunning. But in her mind, she secretly asks how Navin, Gale, and Meditrina can even deal with Vil, up until she gets a call from Meditrina, screaming about Diasomnia. She also sees on Magicam from Lumi in the girls' group chat that Iris has now done multiple pranks on Leona and the other Savanaclaw students. At least she can learn how to make some poisons?

TITUS goes from Savanaclaw to Ignihyde, which is better since he's a hacker. Definitely trolls with the others and hacks into their computers just to go :D :D :D :D :D over and over again. None of them find out who it is, until Idia decides to get to the bottom of this and tracks the IP Address back to Titus, but Idia thinks that it's impossible since Titus comes from the dorm with the muscleheads. However, he has a feeling that Savanaclaw is currently on fire, but he's not going to say anything.

ASTRO finally gives Riddle a break from Heartslabyul and cartwheels to Octavinelle. Azul probably takes advantage of him as an idol and has him perform in Mostro Lounge. He gladly does so, but also destroys tables while he's at it. He looks extraordinarily good in the Mostro Lounge uniform and when someone takes pictures of him to post on Magical Twitter, the media is having a field day at the "limited edition concert" at Mostro Lounge. Azul is definitely cackling at the offers coming in from outsiders so that they can see Astro.

VALKYRIE is punching the air because she's not in NRC.

ONYX goes from Ignihyde to Octavinelle. Poor guy doesn't have any idea what's going on. He's doing his best, at least he can work in the kitchen at twice the speed as the others. He pretends he doesn't know Astro, but Astro is like "HEYYYYYY" with him. Would definitely milk the fact that he's a cyborg under water for all its worth in order to get out of working under Azul. Loathes talking with new people so he is not going to become a waiter.

PERSONALITY: He, like his friend Gale, is very much approachable and excitable. However, unlike him, he does not really like to tease people he has just met, he avoids it. He likes making new friends and prefers people that can keep up with him, but he's friends with people that are more quiet than he is. He's very much oblivious; when he got called "pretty boy" when he was young, he thought it was an insult and he was sad for the entire day. His eyes are red and he usually wears earrings that are the same color as his eyes. Sometimes he can be found with a bandage on his face, but he'll never say where he's gotten the injury from. He likes wearing a red jacket whenever he isn't in uniform or sometimes even over the uniform. He does not care much about his fashion sense, but he does know the basics of color scheme, leading to him usually looking nice.

In Mulan, Mushu is shown as a tiny dragon with hardly any fire power; Ignis is not short at all but he avoids using his fire powers because his unique magic is severely delicate and can be turned on even if he isn't thinking about it, he is much more powerful than he thinks.

He's the one that brought the entire group together, he is also the one that adds new people in it, like Navin.

He does not like being ignored because when he was little, all he wanted to do was talk to someone regarding the things that he liked but instead he was seen as special because of his face and how abnormally attractive he was; every time he wanted to talk, he got cut off and since then he's hated being ignored. he doesn't like the winter because it causes his body temperature to go down, thus his powers weaken. his hands are sensitive so when they get cold, it's like they're ice cubes.

He can actually control when he looks like a human and a dragon, although he'll turn into one that's the size of a dog and curl up with anyone in his vicinity that is comfortable.

The Prankster Cooks: Trey + Ignis

Cooking buddies that will definitely do their best to prank others. Like Trey’s oyster sauce prank, Ignis is the one that’ll go “you know, you should’ve told them about the salt thing, it’s better than sugar” and go along with Trey’s tiny pranks. But Trey has to keep him on a tight leash or else he’d go around on a rampage. 

The Small Apple and the Tall Flames: Epel + Ignis

He knows that Epel is hiding something behind that pretty face so he brings him onto his podcast to hear about him. Afterwards, they become close friends, Ignis making sure that he’s never treated the way he does not want to. Epel trusts him a lot too since both of them are treated in ways they do not want to be. 

The Animal Shifters: Jack + Ignis

Jack’s Unique Magic turns him into a wolf but Ignis does not need that as his Unique Magic, he was born with that ability. Both of them tend to hang around each other when they are in their animal form. They are so different too, Ignis is much louder than Jack but they truly love each other’s company. 

The Dragon Boys: Malleus + Ignis

Malleus is seen as scary by most people, but Ignis quickly striked up a conversation with him when he was with Gale, casually saying that they both had something in common and that they were bad with technology. It was a bad conversation starter, but hey, they were talking, weren’t they? Ignis loves hanging around him because he’s so much fun to be around, even though his tone is almost always monotone. Malleus is grateful for someone like him because it makes him seem less scary.

Lumi: She likes to help. It seems like she doesn’t, but she’s not the type of person to rub her intelligence in other people’s faces. In fact, she uses it so that it can contribute to whatever the other person needs. 

Meditrina: She celebrates others. She knows what it feels like to have something big just pass by someone’s nose, so she never wants someone to feel like they could’ve done better. They deserve to have even the smallest achievements praised and that’s what she exactly what she does. 

Gale: He listens to others. He doesn’t like it when someone doesn’t listen to him so he refuses to be that person for someone else. Whether it’s something simple or mundane or even eccentric, he is listening and even asking questions if possible.��

Ignis: He has a good sense of humor. He makes himself laugh most of the time and that causes other people to laugh. Sometimes he’ll make jokes that make other people laugh and he isn’t even trying. It surprises him pleasantly. He can make jokes to cheer someone up if they’re feeling down and won’t show it openly. 

Iris: She isn’t afraid to stand up for herself or others. If she ever hears that someone’s taking advantage of her friends, she’s going to personally go up to them. She’s already dealt with having to be seen as inferior in comparison to others, so seeing that happening to more people is something she will not stand for. She’ll even teach them to defend themselves if they cannot. 

Navin: He knows exactly what compliments to give people. They’re not small like, “That was amazing!” They’re super specific to what that person wants. He’s an actor so he studies people constantly, granting him the knowledge he needs to give others the compliments that they deserve and want. 

Blanca: She’s adaptable and unpredictable, in a good way. She isn’t the type of person that has mood swings constantly, but her personality sometimes changes depending on the situation and how well she can adapt to it. 

Colette: She’s dependable. She’s the one girl that doesn’t care if you can’t pay her back for anything, she just wants you to be happy and she’ll do anything to make sure it happens. If you need her there with you, she’s there. You need a favor? She’s got you. 

Titus: He lives for himself and not other people. He’s no kind of people pleaser and because of that, he never worries about what people think of him, thus making him more likable since his personality is all his and never copies anyone else!

[ What's a childhood memory they cherish most? ] 

Lumi: The memory she cherishes most would be when she was playing in the snow that she made with Allen. They used to play with a bunch of figurines and dolls that she had created with her magic and make stories all the time. Of course, he had to wear warm clothes but the time they had together was the best for her.

Meditrina: The times she and her childhood friend had together. She definitely liked him at one point, even though she never wanted to admit it to herself, and vice versa. What she liked most was their casual banter back and forth. She’s still in contact with him and they’ve moved on from that. 

Gale: Having his friends on Earth celebrate his birthday in school. They brought him presents and one of them even brought him an entire cake with a hidden lighter. They even sang to him, as embarrassed as he was. It was the best birthday he’s ever had and he remembers it fondly even now as he learns magic. 

Ignis: His last winter performance in fifth grade! He audtioned to be an MC and he got the role. He did not have to dance the first dance, but he was allowed to do the second one and that’s where his love of dancing started. He even got a solo part where other people were brought in at his cue, it was the most fun he’d had in ages. 

Iris: Her third grade teacher, seeing that she hardly had any friends, bought boxes of pizza so that she could invite some people and she could bond with them. It never worked, but the thought of her teacher doing everything in her power to help Iris always made her feel warm inside. 

Navin: Singing with his favorite cousin. They were very close when they were younger and his parents would take him to his cousin’s place so that they were able to play together. Most of the time, they brought out her karaoke machine and they’d sing until his parents told him that it was time to go home. He misses her a lot.

Blanca: The first time she defeated her teacher in swordfighting when she was 8. She was better than everyone else in her class, even the older kids, but never the teacher. When she finally made him fall, sword at his neck, she felt a rush of adrenaline go through her and she was even referred to a competition. She ended up winning it, but it was nothing compared to the victory over her old teacher.

Colette: Her mother taking her, for the first time ever, to an amusement park. She enjoyed the rides and the food there, it was all such a different experience, full of adrenaline and very likely grease. She won a panda from the place though, she still has it. 

Titus: When he was taken in by his first family. He was fed and given so many things that he’d never had before, and for the first time in a long time, he could finally sleep somewhere that wasn’t deathly cold or deathly hot. It was comfortable and felt familiar.

Astro: He is more giggly than usual. He's MUCH more flirty with them than he usually is. There's a fine line between charming and flirty, yet for this person, he's literally into the flirty zone. But also, he's constantly writing love songs, that's a key way to figure out if he has a crush or not. He shows his affection by constantly being around them and probably slightly pushing the affection.

Valkyrie: Oh dear, this girl. It is so hard to tell if she has fallen for someone because she buries that emotion into her work to the point where her crush will not think of her first if they hear that someone has a crush on them. She shows her affection by speaking a lot more around them with the occasional filler word. That's a way to figure out if she has a crush.

Onyx: If he's around Valkyrie and Iris, he's going to revert to him being shy again. The second his crush walks by, his face is in his hands, he doesn't want to see them. He does NOT show his affection and in fact, he's blunt whenever they talk to him. It doesn't mean his face is not burning as he fiddles with his hands.

Lumi: She appreciates it when she accidentally takes a nap while working and someone puts something over her. She also appreciates new books, even if she already has them. It's not easy to get on her good side, but not hard either. You just have to have a good vibe and she'll determine if you're good, since she will study your body language.

Meditrina: She appreciates being bought food ingredients. She also loves being brought plants, tiny insignificant gifts like smooth rocks (she has a collection), and stuff like mood rings. It's easy to get on her good side, but also easy to get on her bad side. She likes everyone, until her instincts tell her something about someone, even if they have never spoken. She will harbor a hatred for that person. But if her instincts say you're okay, she automatically likes you. Her gut is never wrong, it's eerie.

Iris: Ah, the local Ignihyde tsundere. She appreciates being brought food when it's late at night and she's working, as well as new tools. She also appreciates it when people listen to her ramble about things she's currently learning or projects she's working on. It's hard to get on her good side because she's been betrayed so much by her ex-friends. To get on her good side, you have to prove that you're not going to be a traitor. This can take up to weeks for her to trust you, please be patient with her.

Colette: Titus uses the pet names "princess, honey, love of my life, my jewel" and genuinely, each time it makes her heart race. Princess, 8/10, she's flustered but not fully. Honey, 3/10, she's just smiling a lot. Love of my life, 100000000/10, she's hiding her face in her hands and her face is burning. My jewel, 7/10, loves the pet name a lot.

Titus: Colette uses the pet names "my love, light of my life, lovely, pretty boy", all of them vary in his flustered state. My love is a classic, however, it does not fail to make him pink in the face, 9/10. Light of my life? 8/10, his ears are pink and he's scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. PERSONALITY: She does seem very stoic at first and unapproachable, but for the most part, that's just her resting face. In reality, she loves hanging out with her friends a lot because she doesn't have to care about keeping up her reputation. She loves figuring out complicated things and can usually be found borrowing tons of heavy books from the library. While she seems cold, after a while, she tends to warm up to people and help them out with their homework, occasionally taking it from them with a mumble that it's fine, she likes working anyways. She can also sometimes scare people because she studies them and tells them things that they never told her.

APPEARANCE: She is 5'2.5" with pale skin and white long hair that reaches down her back. Her hair is wavy and the top of her head can always be found braided like a headband. The first people she met were Ace and Deuce and her impression of them was that Ace was too loud and arrogant and Deuce was definitely hiding something, a certain aspect in his personality.

In the movie Frozen, Elsa's power allowed her to create many things out of crystals but it wasn't until she let her emotions get the best of her that she created a tundra and a blizzard. Lumi plans to one day make things out of crystals, but for now, she needs to use her emotions in order to use Snow Queen.

The person she's liked right away was surprisingly Kalim because she could feel that he wasn't hiding much even though she almost lost her composure at realizing he had 30 siblings.

She likes hanging around Meditrina because she gets to learn about medicine with her and help her as well. Iris at first had the same personality as her but after getting to know her better, she realized that she was just hiding chaos and rage underneath her monotone expression. 

She does not like banana because she doesn't like the smell after trying to make a potion when she was younger and her entire place smelled like it for weeks; she was desperate to get it out.

Floyd calls her Burūgiru as a nickname because the bluegill fish is obviously tall and flat and she’s not tall, but her voice can sometimes be considered flat; Jade has constantly told him not to call her that but he can’t help and snicker slightly at it too.

The Intellectual and the Rule Follower: Riddle + Lumi

She can't stand him because she thinks that's he's way too uptight with his rules and that's why no one ever comes out of his dorm looking sane or actually intelligent; this is the only time that he actually pities Ace and Deuce. He does not like her because she is a massive rulebreaker and he knows that if she was in his dorm, she would definitely not be let off the hook but in the meantime, they just don't talk to each other but they won't shy away from the smallest of glares.

The Pure Prince and the Ice Queen: Kalim + Lumi

She genuinely likes him because of his energy and she likes to hear him talk about his life (no, it's not her fascination with the psychology behind oldest children, don't even look at Meditrina). He's also a sweetheart and they get along well together.

The Internally Struggling Servant and the Observant Girl: Jamil + Lumi

He can tolerate her because she doesn't have the energy Kalim has and also that she acknowledges his intelligence and skills, something that he says he doesn't like but from his behavior, she sees that he does and they actually get along.

The Secretly Terrifying Ones: Jade + Lumi

Two peas in a pod, both of them make sure that Azul and Floyd don't get too out of hand. She loves how they can talk about random topics, he talks about creepy things and she teaches him obscure things. one time, Azul and Floyd walked in on her explaining to Jade (very excitedly, which is out of the norm for her) about ancient medieval torture in the human world; they both pointedly avoided them for the next week and did not do anything to make them mad. Since she's from the snowy mountains and he's part of the mountain lovers club, she has joined him many times in his club.

16. What would they consider quality time?

Quality time would just be hanging out with each other. They're so stable in their relationship that they think just being around each other is quality time. Usually, it can range from anything between doing their own things while being with each other to actual picnics. They like to be with each other while doing their own things though, that definitely qualifies as quality time for them.

24. What do your characters think about marriage? Are they for or against it?

Oh boy, Colette got asked about this once and she couldn't look Titus in the eye for a week. She has actually thought about it and designed her own dress, but do NOT tell anybody. She can't really see herself with anyone but Titus, yet the idea of actually marrying him makes her want to scream and run for the hills. Not in a bad way, but it makes her flustered. However, she'd literally be willing to pay for everything at her wedding, she's got it, anything for him. Titus has thought about it before but he turned so red on that day. The package trio were all like, "Oh ???" He can't see himself with anyone but her and he just loves how he still, after all these years, gets butterflies in his stomach just by looking at her. They are both for it, although they won't tell each other that. Anyone looking at their relationship would say that they'd definitely get married at some point.

2 .What was their first date like? If they haven’t been on a date yet, how would it go?

Very likely, it would have to have been a coffee date. One of her hobbies is taste testing coffee. Lumi was actually nervous the whole time and in her brain, she was like, "What if this is all a bet like in the romance movies Gale has showed me? What if he doesn't like me?" Thanks, Gale, now Miles has a nervous Lumi on his hands. But genuinely, this girl probably slammed Ignis's door opened and took all his romance manga to study how first dates go. No, Lumi, you cannot study how a date will go. It was very sweet though, she'll go back and that's when, in private, she becomes so red since she's been bottling it up to not lose face in front of him.

19. It’s raining, did either of your OCs bring an umbrella? If so, who, and do they share it?

Unsurprisingly, it's Meditrina that brought the umbrella. Ignis had seen the rain and immediately froze because he forgot his so he's standing there hoping someone will take pity on him. Thankfully, it's his own girlfriend and she does share it. She doesn't stop teasing him about it though. He's the one holding it and he secretly wants to give her his jacket but the girl has somehow made the flower in her hair grow so that nothing would get on her head and she's got a big jacket to cover her. Someday, he will be able to save her and give her his own jacket.

28. Are they affectionate in public? Is it too much?

No, they're not that affectionate in public, especially in front of their friends. But there are times where Meditrina needs to calm down so she just hugs him tightly AND if he's talking to someone, he doesn't stop talking to them, he just hugs her back too. Sometimes, he'll be the one to do that when he's upset and he hugs her from behind. The most they do is pinkie holding or he sneaks his hand into her pocket to hold her hand. The first time it happened, her face was burning and her first instinct was actually to step away. Yes, the affection was too much for her, public or not.

The oldest of three, already set for a fate. As the oldest, she’s the one that’s had to be a role model, the third parent, and at the same time, follow the expectations set out for her from a young age. She was so much stronger than anyone gave her credit and it’s because of that that she was able to have her own identity. She didn’t think anything was wrong with the way she was raised, it just made her better than everyone else. Her mother once said, “You don’t want to be like the mediocre kids, right?” No, she didn’t. If it cost her getting friends, if it cost her being normal, if it cost her her childhood, it would be fine, right? It had to be fine. She’d be grateful for this in the future. Remember, perfect girls keep their heads up, never get angry, follow the family rules, and most importantly, they do as their parents say. 

All her life was about serving the family, how her gifts would especially be useful. She was their little experiment. When she was five, they had already seen someone that they could get her engaged to. She got told this at fourteen and she was horrified. But of course, she hid it. She was perfection in every way, paving the way for her sisters. She carried them through the metaphorical dangers that they never had to see; however, she was the one that had to suffer through the horrors without being told what was in front of her. Her parents never told her because they never went through it. She was the “brave” one that would lead the family at some point. This is why when they discovered her powers of growing plants and healing with her food, she was set to work immediately. She was the other mother to her siblings, soon getting a deep hatred for her parents and herself. Why was she so weak? No, why was she so mad at them? Every time she saw her mother, she’d get a warm hug. Every time she saw her father, it was a smile. Yet the logical part of her whispered about how she missed her childhood due to them wanting her to live up to their expectations. Her only hope was that someday, she’d be pulled away from the repetitive and overwhelming hell in her home. No, not home. House. It was nothing more than a house. Remember what perfect girls do. No, it’s not her home anymore, she shouldn’t have to listen. But she doesn’t have an escape just yet. She’ll have to fake it.

When she was able to go to Night Raven College, she took the chance immediately. The way she convinced her parents to let her go was that she would go to school and become a fine woman and like they always wished, she would get married to whoever they deemed suitable. Her parents reluctantly agreed and she was too quick to get out of the house. Her younger sister was fourteen at the time, going to another school. Meditrina felt bad about leaving her behind, but her sister said that if anyone deserved leaving, it was her. The youngest sister was in fits and Meditrina had to tell her that she’d be back. “When?” She had asked. 

“When I no longer have to hide. When I am no longer their puppet.”

Meditrina is seen as the calm one, even as the mom friend in the group, but that is only because that’s how she has been raised. The rage she has held down is waiting to explode. The day that happens is the day she’ll regret holding back her words from her parents. But maybe her friends will keep her from overblotting. They just don’t realize she isn’t as strong as they say she is, she is constantly on the verge of overblot and generally, losing her mind entirely.
