Oh it’s not them @medifairy. We clearly see the actors in other pictures. It’s brilliant mise en abyme/ Easter egg/ meta. You are correct that this could just be a form of parody, a clever pun, but even in its parodic form, by clearly putting the actor into a mock Kylo costume, it still acknowledges the fact that yes Kylo and Rey are a thing (and not one sided or villainous crush, because the actors portray clear star crossed lovers). Major.

Even as foreshadowing, which is not even sure, this is no cause to fret about the fate of our pairing...

I also forgot to mention, or specify, that Anakin and Padmé actually don’t attend this scene. They are supposed to watch the play but arrive late. Another picture shows the actress holding the actor Pieta style into her arms after she killed him, and very much aware of the two empty seats that were meant for Anakin and Padmé. So they never actually watched that scene. It’s even better in terms of symbolism. First, because the tragic couple, that is still very much in love at that point, doesn’t get to witness a tragic ending that sort of mirrors their own (they are THE original star crossed lovers of the saga after all!), and if this is supposed to be about Kylo and Rey symbolically speaking the fact that the resident Skywalkers missed on the show might mean that this may never happen that way. No show. Parody then of the audience’s expectations about these two. Remember a lot of people want Kylo to be killed by Rey... that’s what this play gives the audience...

OMG in Star Wars adventures #12, where Anakin and Padmé attend a play that is very Star-crossed lovers packed, am I the only one who sees Kylo Ren ‘s costume there??? And even Rey’s? Doesn’t it look like when they met up on Takodana? Anidala, star crossed lovers…. Star Wars team, I see you !!!!
