its funny how the episodes point is literally to show that she isn’t a heartless monster and actually feels remorse for her actions but people are like NO!!!! SHES MANIPULATING EVERYONE. EVERY SINGLE ACTION SHE COMMITS HAS MALICIOUS ULTERIOR MOTIVES BEHIND THEM! like… no…. did we watch the same episode… you guys are blinded by hatred of a fictional character so badly you cannot consume the media as intended. i’m not excusing her actions or saying she DIDN’T fuck up badly but oh my god. you lot are missing the point of how the her entire arc is headed (in point of giving taco redemption) SHE LITERALLY DIEEEDDDD BECAUSE OF THE SHEER INTENSITY OF HER EMOTIONS AND PEOPLE ARE SAYING SHE DIDNT CAAAREEEE

ALSO also THERES LITERALLY SYMBOLISM WITH THE CRACK SHE HAD!!!!! -hand gesture- you know. avoiding all of her problems and deflecting them. in terms of the events of leading up to the manner it got inflicted. her outer facade beginning to collapse. she kept on suffering from it which literally caused her to shatter. but after she got regenerated she doesn’t have it anymore. literally a metaphor for growth and healing!!! hear me out on this one

HIGH INANIMATE INSANITY S2 E16 SPOILERS

Please don’t read this if you haven’t caught up yet I’m begging you.

With both of those out of the way here’s a tier list based on how likely I think the cast’s chances of dying next ep are. Explanations below!

Red:

Cobs is pretty obvious, Mephone and/or the finalists up and kill him.

3GS just has a lot of death flags to die to Cobs or X. It just doesn’t look like anything will end well for them :(

4 and Taco have been predicted to die for a while, what can I say? It’d be a way to raise the stakes for sure.

On that note I just feel like LB is gonna be both a gut punch to fans and a way of giving Baseball and the other three main Bright Lights more drama.

And the finalists just seem like one or both of them will die in the climax, but if it is just one, I’m not sure if it’d be first or second place…

Now for Orange Juice, which I think needs more explanation:

Baseball is similar to Lightbulb, but just to give Knife and SC more stress, and the lowest moment take away the closest the other contestants have as a leader, but it just seems less likely than the others.

Same w/ Mepad, good way of giving 4 and Taco more angst but he might have more direct plot instead.

The other three Bright Lights left the Hotel and are directly looking for answers, if LB doesn’t die, then at least one of them will.

Mic and Ballon are for Taco/Knife and Suitcase respectively, bc these are just two characters the writers kinda like tormenting.

Candle and Silver are the only III contestants so high bc the Inner Flame, gotta get rid of the OP chars first ofc.

A Box death would be hilarious and get played straight by everyone except Trophy. That or they use the inanimate status to reveal he’s a god and the only one 4 didn’t make bc why not.

And Pepper is just here bc the old s1 plans.

First three are all s2 contestants, which means they’ll prob have more screen time, Soap’s first bc she seems like she’ll be given more than the others. Don’t ask why Cheesy is behind Salt and Bomb it was an oversight

Salt and Bomb are potential victims but it would probably go to someone the audience is more attracted to.

It could go that the III contestants get mass axed by X to keep it to s2 but it could also go the other way and have deaths focused on 1 and 2.

Green:

Hahaha no way the 2nd fav (only to Lightbulb to give a sense of scale) is dying.

Same w/ Bot the crew loves them too much to do that, they’ll prob just react to Nickel + any other deaths next pt.

I’m gonna be honest, when I made this I could’ve sworn it was confirmed that Cherries was 12 but now I can’t find it… that was kinda the whole reason why I put them here…💀

The shimmers and Baxter aren’t dying. That’s that.

Marsh and Apple are out of sight, out of mind. And if the souls do go to PM, it wouldn’t be as bad for them.

Starfruit also isn’t dying, he’s just here for the fan service.

Paper is prob going to get a role where he tries to learn to work w/o his husband OJ. They aren’t offing him unless they do an entire cast massacre for the climax.

HEY II fandom can y'all stop comparing Silvers inner flame to "evil" alters from a system, it's really fuckin weird.

The only character in II with DID/OSDD canonically is Paper. Yinyang are two souls in one body, and Silvers inner flame is not an "evil" alter, hell, he was barely evil. His inner flame is more likely his own subconscious acting without thinking, and the reason he'd refer to himself I'm 3rd person was to show that he wasn't in full control of his actions. Inner flame was switching between first and third person anyway.

Regardless, saying Inner flame, or even Yinyang, have 'evil alters' when they don't even have DID/OSDD canonically is. Very fuckin weird, especially since I'm seeing mostly singlets make this comparison.

Latest post is so real i physically cannot imteract with the fandom beyond fnaart because my favoyrite character gets so violently mischaracterised and villanised it's painful like Yeah he did that shit but have you looked deeper why are you making him the antichrist

This goes a million times more for any women god forbid a woman do things in this economy but i think that's a general osc and fandom thing not that it makea it any better

HONESTLY its for almost any character at this point

ive seen people mischaracterize characters i dont even gaf about so badly to the point where i question if they watched the show with system problems

its mostly women too for some damn reason , women in the osc get treated so horribly its actually unbelievable . Like for example marshmallow for example , in fanon shes this sweet delicate butterfly sweetheart who wouldnt hurt a soul – meanwhile in canon shes actually very rude and kinda selfish

Another example is a recent one , taco

ive seen her get the absolute worst treatment in the ii community i dont even know how to describe it , and this episode literally shows us that shes not a cold manipulative heartless monster who only used others to win . she has genuine feelings and has genuine regret and guilt for what she did

this goes for a bunch of other chatacters too and i could go on and on about how horribly mischaracterized most of them are , usually to appeal to the audience on how people want them to be like or taking what morraly grey thing they did and blowing it way out of proportion

so in other words : the osc has the most agonizing media literacy [ none ]

What does oj feel about Trophy?

so for context oj has bad problems with toxic masculinity. he feels like he HAS to provide and be strong and push himself to work as hard as possible to be a Respectable Average Man. on that note he has a horrible obsession with the concept of being "normal". but basically trophy would piss him off because he's such a shitty version of a Masculine Man, while oj wants to be the "right" kind of Masculine Man. also doesn't help that trophy is self absorbed, demands to be served by others (considering oj is the manager he HAS to serve him in a way which pisses him offfff), and loves to start fights. one of the most unpleasant residents
