I truly must apologize for being so late in responding to your lovely message! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 I wanted to wait until I had enough energy but then I was tired all the time, but I have recovered a bit now and am trying to catch up on everything!

and thank you also for the well wishes!! luckily it seems like everything has mostly resolved itself now, but it was def a stressful few weeks. not to get too far into it but I actually had a follow-up appointment with a specialist recently just to make sure all was well and he was looking at my lab results from a month or so prior and he was like "damn okay so your levels were like very high and I am surprised you were not doing worse" lmao but it seems that things have stabilized now 💖

also you are soooooo sweet 😭🥰😭🥰 thank you so so much!! shit is tough out there but I try to do what I can to create and nurture spaces for joy ☺️

Happy belated Halloween!! I hope you had a spooky holiday!! And to answer your question…Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. And I know that as soon as I’ve got more money to spend on silly things in the future, I’ll be going so hard on decorating. I’m talking pumpkin string lights. The weird demented baby decorations that crop up at the Halloween Store every year. The twelve foot skeleton in the yard. That would stay up year round and be dressed up in accordance to the season lol. It would 100% start to get very tacky but I do not care. 💛

Andromeda!! Her last name, Shaw, is from Old Irish, so I ran with the idea of her being a redhead, and loved giving her a nice string nose? I'm hella partial to those 😅💖 Also an "I'm watching you" scowl cause she's like that 🤣.

Halina!! My lovely lil Polish girl!! Left is my first drawing of her, and the right is my more realistic-leaning portrait? Gave her a cute speckling of moles, and also some dark hair since I realized I don't have too many OCs w that? Sweetheart surviving the apocalypse 👌💖

She's a fun character to be figuring out, esp. since she's so hopeful and ripe for shattering to bits 😈 (before fixing of course).

BRIGID. I've gotten hella attached to her?? Partially due to the research I've done for her and partially cause she's a bundle of fun tropes 💕💖💕

So in researching the Melungeon people, and since she'd be from Georgia, I got to enjoy combining all sorts of faces for her including Eastern Cherokee, Black, and Scottish features? She's got lovely 3A/3B curls that I adored (and struggled with) drawing and a cute lil gap between her canine and incisor?

Andromeda approached him, placing a gentle hand on his back. She simply watched him, her eyes full of concern. Tears suddenly stung his eyes, and he looked away.

“Thank you,” he murmured after a while, still looking away from her. “For all your help. With all the risks you took on my word alone. Thank you for being on my side, Meda.”

“Darling, I’m always on your side,” she said softly. Sirius gripped her shoulder, and they both stared out of the window in silence.

🫀 - how easily do they cry? what makes them cry without fail?

i've got this sneaking suspicion that eddie is some kind of water sign, so i think he tears up pretty regularly

he'll cry while reading, or watching sad, sappy movies that come on while wayne snores on the couch

when his uncle finally wakes, he makes up some story about how he didn't want to change the channel and bother him, wiping his nose on his shirtsleeve and blaming allergies

he cries sometimes thinking about his childhood, but those are angry tears, thinking about what he'd lost—what his dad had taken from him

growing up, he cried a lot from stress, especially when things were unfair or he felt like his teachers were picking on him.

definitely he got bullied for it and it's one of the reasons he puts on such a tough exterior now

🚫 - what's something genuinely weird about them? like, not something considered quirky yet cute- something genuinely weird that puts other people off at first

this man is gross. it can not be understated how gross

showers when he feels like it, which is more often than you might think, but forgets to wear deodorant on the regular. has no idea what the point of conditioner is

tries to cover up the smell of weed and BO with cheap cologne he keeps in his glove box

will literally eat anything. straight out of the garbage, off someone else's plate, off the floor. if it looks clean and he's hungry, he's going for it

eats in bed, spills all the time. does not bother to wash his sheets—just sleeps wherever there isn't a wet spot

he doesn't own a hairbrush. he used to, but it's kind of gotten lost somewhere in his room

genuinely though, if you ever took the time to pamper him? he would be an absolute goner for the rest of his life
