Meet Ataraxia, the Artifice of Stagnation! After much wrestling with the design I've got something that works for her!

Ataraxia is, essentially, the real BBEG of the campaign we were in. An ancient supercomputer with the power to challenge gods, powered by masses of undead celestial creatures, fused into a mass she deemed more suitable for her purpose. She was created and used, theoretically, in order to protect humanity from vengeful gods. Her purpose was to ensure their safety. However, Ataraxia's idea of safety got very out of hand, and she tried to get full control over every single mortal, considering their free will a bit too risky for their own well-being.

Her body is meant to evoke both, some eldritch horror and the good ol' biblically accurate angel stuff. I went for a more organic look on her mecha parts, almost like the parts of an insect or even spiky conches, as if they were grown from the celestials' remains instead of being simple forged metal. I hope y'all enjoy it, mecha body horror isn't exactly my focus, but I love her all the same- (also, Urion/The Onirist is there, held gently like hamburger : ) )

ANOTHER REF!! this is CLEVER GIRL, an OC inspired by Sagen Hawkes Escape: Triassic Hall video. I love this video and its concept so much. Basically, CLEVERs used to be an upcoming game developer working on Escape: Triassic Hall, but ended up having a heart attack and passing away right before the game's release. Now she's bound to the game's code and torments people so her forgotten game can finally see the spotlight. And, maybe, her spirit would finally be set free in the process. Think Smile Dog but way less insidious.

Her monitor (head) is supposed to be an iMac ripoff, and the "slime" on her right arm is actually just a bizarre ectoplasm substance. This ectoplasm is also in her wires and in the fluid in her legs. The weird colors around the black part of her screen is just an error on her screen. She can be drawn without it. Somewhat inspired by the sanitized ink from Splatoon 2.

Replaying AC6 (its like my 8th run at this point) and I'm only now beginning to wonder why lots of the AC designs you see from characters dont have a more reliable weapon in their right hand.

The only ones that come to mind that do are Rusty, Nightfall, and Iguazu (using kinetic weapons specifically) while many others opt for a more explosive option in their right hand and their main weapon in the left hand.

Some examples of that are Sulla and Volta, both opting for an explosive in the right hand and a more aggressive close-range weapon in the off hand. (Not to mention poor Ziyi who only has small grenade launchers in either hand)

Having learned a bit more about the community and older games I suspect its because many AC vets found it was better to play the game by holding the controller upside down like this

and thus would select a reliable primary for their left hand. So this strikes me as a subtle nod to the series' past, as well as a statement on the character/AC and their design theories/preferences.
