i got my copy of the paper mario ttyd remake yesterday in the mail and iām very excited about it.
#i havenāt gotten to play it yet bc me and my gf are finishing up the Borderlands post game content#i havenāt played borderlands in forever and so far i am like wow this is such a game that doesnāt have a lot of good women in it#they mostly all have their bazongas out#and have Blatantly Written By a Man disease#but the tone of the game is weird in a way where iām not sure if iām supposed to care about the characters at all or even care about the#story that much. i remember when i played it as a child i didnāt get attached to any of the characters but i at least felt like the story#mattered when i was a kid. but the tone of the game has so much like. Joke tones to it that i canāt tell if the story is supposed to be like#meaningful or impactful djsjs#itās an old ass game at this point though so it might just be a product of the time it was made in#weāre also still on the first one so i donāt know if the tone or the writing changes in quality in the sequels#iāve played some of the other ones too before but it all blends together to me bc itās been so long. i know thereās a second girl you get#to play thatās like Lilith 2 in terms of powers i think. and i know of handsome jack and the other guy who is him but is not him
