#hmm#the first three stories say ‘continue on next page’ at the end#and the last one says ‘continued next month’#but the stories are in the completely wrong order#I’m not sure how that happens#I assume that those statements on the last panel were added to the stories for them being reprinted in Famous Funnies#because the first panel of each story explains where the last one left off#which I don’t need because I just read them a second before getting to that one#so was presumably there for the initial audience of newspaper readers#meaning that before these stories were reprinted in these comic books in batches of four#they were printed on their own either daily or on Sundays#so there would not have been a ‘continued on next page’#maybe whoever put the comic strips together for the reprint didn’t read the stories themselves#eastern color printing company#jane arden#my posts#comic panels
