A. Woodpecker (Opportunity) - The Fool

The Woodpecker is a unique and hard-working bird whom moves to the rythem of his own drum beat. This little character can often be found persuing prey in the tree tops, using his inginuity to capture delicious bugs. His appearance is a reminder to find greater success in life, and he indicates finding a support structure which can carry you closer to your coveted dreams. The woodpecker isn't afraid to take risks, or seize on opportunities he finds, and he invites you to do the same- new doors are opening to you at this time, jump in head first and see where this exciting time of opportunity may lead you.

The Woodpecker card is seen here coupled with the tarot card 'the fool'. The fool is a major arcana card which holds similar energy to the Woodpecker. This is the card of the non-conformist and rebel, he seeks deeper meaning and new direction in his suspended yet dynamic position. He also tells us to avoid allowing ourselves to be the victem. In this position, the Hanged man may represent gaining a new perspective on romance, love and even self-worth. He can assist us with breaking down barriers and lifting stagnation. It is time to be rid of uncirtainty, and seek true clarity and authenticity in your life. Perhaps it is time to see things from a new perspective in your love life in specific, or, alternately it may be time to shower YOURSELF with love and generosity- allowing the practice of self care and self love to alter your perspective.

C. Gecko (sensuality) - High Priestess

The changable and colorful gecko is a symbol of bold action, ferocity, passion and sensuality. The Gecko is also one whom teaches us to explore our true natures and colorful sides in full, as well as to proudly display them for others to see. Geckos attract the eye of their mate with their heart pounding displays of beauty, movement and sound. This little lizard is, in fact a messanger for living authentically and thriving in times of uncirtainty or adversity. His presence in the reading suggests trusting in our heart, embracing intimacy in our lives and living with purpose and connection daily. In doing so, we can effortlessly attract the right vibe and the right tribe, always.
