The Pokemon phenomenon is still going strong and the craziest thing to me is how social and friendly it is - the biggest example of that I heard when I was leaving work on Friday - a teen girl was walking past the store playing the game, a vehicle full of other teens slowed down and someone yelled "hope you're having fun playing Pokemon, bitch!" The original girl looked up from her phone and yelled "I am!" Both sides of the exchange were so angry that I kinda want the backstory there, but it's almost better without it. I also kind of want to be exhibit that kind of confusingly friendly anger with people I don't like - "I recognize that you have found a hobby you like and I hope you're enjoying participating in it, bitch!"
