My mother continues to be the most fascinating human in the media-watching world. She loves a genre show. She hates all the elements that make it a genre show. She wants endless recommendations. She’ll ignore the recommendations in favor of rewatching old faves. She binges an entire multi-season show in two days. She can’t tell me if she actually liked the show she just inhaled in record time. She is a television superhero, and I cannot clock her to save my life.
#me: so you started Santa Clarita?#her: finished it#me: …did…you like..it?#her: it was very weird#(she watched it in the blink of an eye and literally all she said was to text me ‘eat the foot. eat the foot. eat the goddamn foot!’#she’ll binge grey’s while sassing everything about the hospital. she watched all of supernatural while chastising its fight scenes.#me: but like. that’s really how buffy was. and charmed. and so many shows you love#her: yeah and it was stupid then too!#girl! what? what is happening?? she’s so funny#I’m about to move back in with the parents while they FINALLY fix my house#and I’m once again ready to be deeply entertained by this in real time#I do have to point out this is the woman who watched bly. paused it. WHILE JAMIE WAS IN THE LAKE. so she could make a sandwich#a sibling just sent a pic of the TV where AE is acting her heart out mid-swim#‘mom decided she was hungry at this exact moment.’#baffling. a baffling woman. and yet half my love of stories very blatantly comes from her. it is so fucking funny

1. would caro and john be into the tv show, the x-files? would they buy tapes of the episodes and talk about their own conspiracies and guess about the outcomes of the episodes.
2. also your comic has help peak my interest for the supernatural and conspiracy theories. what are some stories or theories that you’ve learned about that you have found the most interesting? and were you a believer before starting your comics or has your interest grown as you’ve continued with your comics.
3.lastly, i’m trying to buy more secondhand items and become the diy punk that i’ve aspired to be since high school (too afraid since i was a closeted trans man and living with an unaccepting family), any tips?
i, like john, try to stay away from modern tech as much as i can. i’m able to stay off my phone for the most part and rarely use my computer but i’ve been looking around and audiobooks on cassette are kinda expensive around me so i like to narrate book as i read them in paperback. i was wondering if canonically john uses resources such as the library and what his favorite books and movies are. i love horror and am just now getting into sci-fi and i love watching movies on my vcr + tv combo and i sometimes use a blu-ray player for more rare or expensive (at least in vhs format) movies.
sorry for the long winded paragraph, i’m unfortunately unable to escape my strict household (despite being an adult) until i find a job and am able to save every cent. i also tend to isolate myself so i have no friends to help me out. sorry to vent to you about this but i just wanted to end this by saying your comic and characters inspire me and give me hope that i’ll be okay once i’m free.
YES. John is obsessed with x-files. every once in a while you can see he has the iconic 'i want to believe' poster in his younger years on his walls. He still has it as an adult. both caro and john like watching those together, they also enjoy the twilight zone, charmed, Buffy (they they agree the corny movie from '92 is the best) and those old Bruce Campbell shows noones heard of, re: Brisco County Jr. I think as kids they theorize, and as adults they talk about everything everyone gets wrong, now that they know how these things really work. John can always guess WhoDunnit.
Ive always been interested in the idea of the supernatural. im a big skeptic though, ill be honest there, even though ive had many 'experiences' myself. i kinda like the idea of the unbelievable. definitely making the comics has peaked my interest in things i wasn't too keenly aware of before, like cryptids. im fascinated by the concept of Missing 411, and missing people who reappear somewhere else, but Liminal Spaces hold my heart specifically. ive always been keenly aware of the off feeling in those places before i even knew what that meant. i love scouring the internet for images of things like abandoned hotels that give me a weird kind of uneasy, most of the things people tag as Liminal aren't really that, so its a scavenger hunt to find something that fits my idea of it. coming up with the lore of my stories has been an adventure. my interest has definitely grown, more in places and phenomenon than in ghosts specifically.
there are so mnay things you can do to diy punk stuff, in my opinion thats the best and most rewarding way. it sounds to me that you need to start small and slow for your safety, so let me reassure you right here anon, that punk is a set of ideals, and not just fashion. youre still punk no matter what youre wearing. a jacket or vest is always a good place to start, you can literally buy ANYTHING at the thift store that strikes your fancy. this is a canvas you will be adding too for as long as its yours. once you have your canvas, its time to create, and there is literally no wrong way to do this. you can use paint markers, embroidery, bleach, ect. dont have money for spikes and studs? you can use soda can tabs and bend them, metal lighter caps, hell even staples and safety pins always look cool. you can make your own badges by bending metal soda or beer caps around a soda tab with a safety pin through it and then paint whatever you want on the cap. dental floss is what you usually see when punks have the white stitching on their pants and jackets, its durable and doesn't break, since crust and gutter punks need tough clothes that last. if you're worried about your family, i would personalize it first in small secret ways that are just for you, such as a message beneath your collar as seen here on my friends jacket. and here, and here! he hides patches on the inside as well! Im including a pic of john hiding a patch on caros varsity jacket as well. i will post my jackets one day, my camera is broken but i figured id share his since he hides things more than i do!
John absolutely uses the library, its a fantastic resource for SO many things, depending on where you're located. He would also probably use a digital reader later, because many of them you can get library cards on and borrow books that way. he is not a strong reader so he mostly reads books that may be under his age level, like goosebumps, but who cares, do what you enjoy. movie wise hes very obsessed with cosmic horror (hence the UFO tattoo) his favorites are Alien, The Thing, Killer Klowns from Outer Space and the Blob from the 80s. both he and Caro love the original Evil Dead franchise, horror comedy like American Werewolf in London, lost boys, etc.
Thank you, Anon, for the long winded paragraph. You asked some really fun questions for me to answer, i love nothing more than to talk about my characters, it was a really nice little break from editing a new podcast episode. I am so so sorry about your situation, and i am sending you all the best and all the love and strength that you can come out of this free and on the other side and live as yourself. If my comics and characters stories can provide a tiny bit of hope that its going to be ok, than ive succeeded at what i set out to do. wishing you all the best. and look into your library, they may have resources to help you with this as well.

Just imagine for a moment that instead of a Steve, Eddie somehow ended up with a Stiles as his bestfriend…
The roles would be kinda reversed because Stiles Stilinski is the nerd while Eddie Munson would be the clueless one half the time who’s just there to look cute. But the best part would be the bickering! Let me give you some examples✨
“A bat Stiles? Really? What the fuck are you gonna do with a bat?” “Uhh bash their brains in duh? What’d you bring Mr. Bats are lame dude…” “I brought a wooden uhm spike thing to…stab them in the heart.” “A wooden stake? You…brought a wooden stake?” “Yeah? It’s what that girl uses on that show to kill all the evil shit so figured it would work for us.” “The girl on the show?…tell me Eddie was this girl blonde and in high school?” “Yeah! You’ve seen-” “she’s a vampire slayer you fucking idiot! It’s literally the name of the show! Buffy the Vampire Slayer!” “So? Vampires…Werewolves…not a big difference they both try to kill you!” “We are so fucked….”
“So this…Vecna…person…thing…can like kill you from inside your mind and you won’t even realize he’s doing it?…that sounds like Freddy Krueger.” “He’s nothing like Freddy…this dude doesn’t need you to be asleep to kill you Eddie he just gets inside of your mind and fucks around until he just squashes you like a bug.” “Yeah he sounds like Krueger…” “Did you…not listen to anything I just said? Freddy needs you asleep this dude doesn’t care if you’re asleep or awake.” “I mean that’s just one difference but everything else is exactly like Freddy…” “I don’t have time to argue with you about how unlike Freddy Krueger this Vecna dude is…so just get in the jeep and let’s go make sure Wayne is still alive.” “Why wouldn’t Wayne be alive?” “This dude feeds off negative memories and having you as a child I’m sure he’s full of negative shit.” “Fuck off your dad is the one we should check on.” “You are such an asshole I am a joy to be around…I already called him and he’s fine.”
“What are you wearing?” “Uh clothes? Why are you dressed in all black?” “Eddie we are spying on a pack of possible Werewolves and you’re dressed for a fucking house party!” “Well yeah you said they were gonna be throwing a rager and I should fit in?” “Fit into the background not fit in like you’re one of them you idiot!” “You should really specify where you want me to fit in when telling me how to dress you jackass now we don’t even look like we are going to the same party.” “We aren’t going to the party! We are going to be…where are you going?” “Inside…it’s easier to spy on people when you can actually see them.” “We can’t go in there what if they turn?” “It’s not a full moon.” “So? If they get mad they can rip you to shreds with their claws and strength…what are you gonna do then huh? Charm them to death with your mediocre good looks and 90’s style grunge outfit?” “Mediocre? Fuck off Stiles.” “Sorry that was rude you’re…a handsome dude but seriously you can’t go-” “I’m just gonna see if any of them give off wolf vibes and be right back…” “yeah go do a vibe check on a potential pack of wolves…smart thinking.” “Thanks…now just stay here I’ll be back.” “That’s the worst thing to say you know that right? You just pretty much signed your own death certificate with that phrase.” “You watch too many movies…it’ll be fine.”

hi sorry if i come off as a hater lmao it's just i hate xander and you seem to like him, could you explain why? I know he has some positive qualities and can be a decent friend but i've always perceived him as a Nice Guy (tm) and often just a misogynistic creep (maybe i need a rewatch where i try to have more compassion idk)
I don't think you come off as a hater, everyone has a right to dislike any characters they want!
Yes, Xander is one of my favorite characters and I have a deep affection for him! I do agree he can be very misogynistic and also creepy (more so creepy in the first couple of seasons, his crush on Buffy often made me very uncomfortable) I'm not going to say I "forgive" his misogynistic actions, but I guess I see it more as a problem with the show as a whole. You know, the time period and such and such. BTVS is a very strange show because it was progressive and groundbreaking in some ways and also very flawed in other ways. It's got some of the most realistic and well written female characters I've ever seen in a show, and yet its constantly undermines them with misogynistic jabs. i don't know, its weird but I digress. The point is I can kinda look past those two specific flaws because I see them more as functions of the show itself.
I like Xander because he's the "everyman" of the series. He's the very unspecial normal guy and idk I just really like that. I’m not trying to reduce the other scoobs to just their practical talents, but Buffy is the slayer, Giles brings the smarts and has his watched role, and Willow has her magic and before that her hacker skills. But all Xander has is himself, all he can give to the team is himself and he does it every single time without question. And like he knows this, everyone knows this about him. If all he can do with himself is physically throw his body in the line of danger to try and help someone else, he's going to do it. How many times does Xander run into the fight only to get punched out. And it's like yeah, its probably stupid and self-destructive, he's never going to be able to face off with the demons they fight because he's just a regular human. But he tries anyway and I love that. I don't know, it's just very admirable to always try, even if you feel like those around you are stronger or better then you. I guess i personally struggle with this, feeling like other are better then me or have more to offer or are more talented. It's nice to see a character whos in a similar situation yet still gives it his all every time. I think he's really relatable because of that and I feel for him.
I really love his loyalty. I know that his dislike for Angel in the earlier seasons stems from his crush on Buffy (which is ew) but also I think a part of it is because he feels protective of her as a friend. Like when Angel turned evil and they were debating what to do, Xander was like "maybe we should just kill him" and everyone acted like he was a huge dick for saying that, but I had to agree. Angel was trying very hard to kill Buffy, to kill all of them, and Xander was trying to prioritize their safety. Oh also there is a part of the season one finale (I think it was that episode... i could be mistaken) where Willow and others get kidnapped because of Buffy and Xander gets so mad he says "If they hurt Willow I'll kill you" which i know is kind of harsh, but like I think it really shows his loyalty and priorities. At this point, he did have a crush on Buffy, but he'd known Willow for much longer and his friendship to her was more important. So like idk, when we see him at his most angry or cruel its always on behalf of his friends.
I also just love that he's goofy and funny and cute. He has a certain charm that so based around the fact that he's slightly pathetic and lame. Just look into his big brown puppy dog eyes and tell me you don't like him just a little bit... he's literally a big loyal slightly stupid dog, come on now. He's always got sleeves that are just a bit too long that they flop over his hands, his shoes are untied his hairs a floppy mess and he has a giant smile and a weird cracky voice that goes up a pitch when he's nervous and he's always trying so hard to get everyone to laugh. I love him :) I can't help it, I just really love him

⭐ Name: Sandra, but you can tell me Sandy 😉.
⭐Age: I feel like I'm 15 years old, I stopped counting at 19 and my friends say that I act like I'm 5 years old XD hahaha ... Nah! I just turned 23 years old this August n_n.
💔 Occupation: Being a universitary girl XD ... Yes! It's so fun! (sarcasm).
🩷 Some things that I love it: Read (I read all kinds of books and about my favorite ships on Ao3! 🤭), cook desserts, listen to music while I do other activities like my homework or when I read, Greek mythology (The love between us will never die! 💗).
⭐Saint Seiya (or Knights of the Zodiac). I found this beautiful serie when I was 7 years old. My favorite is the original serie, although I also like the Lost Canvas a lot and Episode G (because Aioria is the protagonist). Soul of Gold gives me mixed feelings. From Omega and Next Dimension, better don't ask me; my mind lives in denial. My favorite characters are the Golden Saints, especially Aioros and Aioria, being Aioria my super favorite.
Thanks to Saint Seiya I developed a great love for the stars 💫 and I have many scientific books on the subject, as well as books of myths and legends about the constellations ✨.
💥 I'm a Marvel Girl. I love those tormented superheroes and antiheroes. I basically grew up watching Marvel since Iron Man came out in 2008 and I immersed myself fully in the world of the comics, I have a lot of comics and books on my bookshelf 🤭. My favorites are: Iron Man ♥️, Captain America, Spider-Man, Loki, the X-Men, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, in all their presentations and with all their charms and defects!.
🍿Series: Friends, Full House, The big bang theory, How I met your mother and How I met your father, Modern Family, Mom, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel... I love it K-Dramas like Goblin: The lonely and great God, Crash landing on you, Tale of the Nine Tailed 😋, I have also watched many animes like Sailor Moon, Ouran High School Host Club, Toradora, Code Geass, Inuyasha, Kaleido Star, Shaman King, Attack on Titan... it's a long list and I don't remember everything at this moment 🤔. Miraculous Ladybug (I know it's for kids, but ... there is Chat Noir 🖤).
🐉In my House of the Dragon era 🖤: Like many people, I was also terribly disappointed with the horrible ending of Game of Thrones, but I really loved Fire and Blood when I read it in 2020... so I decided to give the serie a chance when I saw the first trailer... and I don't regret it! 🥳. I liked Daemon and Rhaenyra so much in the book and absolutely loved them in the TV Show! (Matt and Emma are incredible! ❣️). Another character that I loved in the book and the one I always wanted to know more about was Jacaerys Velaryon and I must say that I am very pleased with the choice of Harry Collett 😍 (oh yeah baby! 🔥).
I really hope that the directors and writers do justice to this wonderful crown prince! 🥰, because for me he is already one of my favorite characters of all time! ❣️.
🎥 Favorite Movies: Troy 2004 (did I mention I'm a Greek mythology lover?), the Star Wars saga 💫 (1-6 only), The Great Gatsby, A Walk to Remember, Harry Potter 🪄 (books and movies), The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Hobbit trilogy, The Hunger Games saga ❣️(books and movies), The Twilight saga 😊 (books and movies).
I love Studio Ghibli movies with all my heart 💗 since my dad bought me the movie of Kiki Delivery Service when I was a 6-year-old little girl.
I love everything Disney and Pixar does 💗😘. (think of the happiest things, It's the same as having wings! 🎶)
🎧 Music: I have a very varied taste in music, some would say strange 😅, but if I like the rhythm and lyrics of the song I will surely add it to my playlist (mainly I like rock), AC / DC, Queen, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Within Temptation, Imagine Dragons, Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran, Lana del Rey, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. I enjoy classical music too 🩷.
⭐ Something more about me: I am an inveterate dreamer and extremely perfectionist. I express myself better by writing than talking 😚.
I haven't drawn anything in almost 5 years and when I did I used to draw with traditional media (watercolor, charcoal, colored pencils, gouche and acrylic paints 🖌️).
But since October (from last year), when I saw Harry Collett as Prince Jacaerys, I felt a desire to draw that I hadn't felt in a long time ❣️.
This is my first time trying to draw in digital media, I hope you like what you see! 😘 (YouTube tutorials don't fail me now! 😭). I spent the whole summer practicing🥺.
P.S: Sorry if exist some error, the english is not my firts lenguage.

The Buffy Re-watch: S2E6 (part 1)
Halloween
I have never gone pumpkin picking. Halloween isn't a big thing for me, not even as a kid.
Vampire videoing Buffy, should have checked your batteries before you left home.
Buffy is resourceful.
Other vampire just slinking off into the night before he can get caught.
Angel on a date. He is trying.
So Cordy is back dating Devon now?
Cordy and Angel do get on, and get better later when the spin-off happens.
Awww, Angel looks like a sad puppy when Buffy leaves.
Halloween is a no go for vampires? That doesn't ring true for every Halloween episode.
Larry is an asshole. His behaviour is him trying to overcompensate for the fact the he is closeted gay guy trying to avoid suspicion from the other people around him. It's the 90s, and let's face it, it wasn't great to be gay in high school. After he comes out he is a lot nicer to people because he doesn't have to keep up the pretence that he is some macho, woman loving dude. It's called character growth and I am here for it.
Xander, there is nothing good about getting beaten up. If your ego is so fragile that you won't let your friend, who is a girl, help you then that's a you problem and you need to fix it. Also, Larry was talking trash about Buffy, she definitely gets to bust in and scare him off.
'She's not his type.' Yeah, Cordelia is so not Angel's type, right now. But put them in a new show, give Angel a personality and Cordelia some character development where she dedicates her life to helping others, and in a few years she will be.
'It would be wrong' let's steal from Giles anyway. Also, how many times does this phrase get repeated by Buffy throughout the show?
Cross referencing is not a hobby, Giles.
Buffy panicking to distract Giles, so she has to resort to telling him that Jenny called him a babe. She probably didn't in front of students. Then you have Willow shaking her head in slight disappointment that Buffy had to do that. I love it though. At least Giles buys it and made him happy.
Cordy really has no idea Angel is a vampire. When does she actually believe them?
Yes, the point of Halloween is the free candy.
Ethan seems so charming. Makes for a good bad guy, yet he only appears in 4 episodes: this one, 'The Dark Age' in two episodes time, 'Band Candy' in season 3, and 'A New Man' in season 4.
Spike being smart by analysing how Buffy fights so he can be better prepared for later. He likes her too. This is just amping up his obsession over her.
Part 2 tomorrow.

20 Questions for Fic Writers!
Tagged by @m-b-w, thank you!
Questions are answered under the cut!
1) How many works do you have on AO3?
58 works
2) What's your total AO3 word count?
693,141 words
3) What fandoms do you write for?
Right now, only Star Trek; while my focus tends to be on TOS, AOS, and SNW, I'm open to writing for other trek series and will when the inspiration strikes! Previously, I've written a fair amount for MST3K and Anne with an E.
4) Top 5 fics by kudos?
Imagining Something Worthwhile - AWAE Oddly Unexpected, Oddly Charming - AWAE Hush - AWAE Heaven Help The Fool Who Falls In Love - AWAE An Endless Stream of Tomorrows - TOS
(lmao, can you tell I was writing AWAE fic as the show was airing? I think that was the only fandom I've written for while a fandom was at it's peak popularity)
5) Do you respond to comments?
Not always and I do feel bad about that. I try my best when the comment is especially sweet or lengthy, but I've got about 10 unread comments in my inbox right now that I haven't replied to because too much time has passed and it feels like it's too late
6) What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
with trembling hands, my SNW Spock/Pike fic that has a sad ending. Super happy with how angsty that fic ends tbh I really wanted to write a fic for Spock/Pike that tackled how Pike would end their relationship as the radiation stuff was quickly approaching
7) What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I've posted so many fluffy oneshots that it's kinda hard to choose. An Endless Stream of Tomorrows is definitely high on that list
8) Do you get hate on fics?
Not really. The closest I get in the trek fandom are comments correcting me on some lore in my fics. Which, sure, is sometimes nice and useful, but sometimes I don't really need a "um, actually--" on a 1000 word fluff fic
9) Do you write smut?
Yes, and I'm finally at the point where I really 1) enjoy writing smut and 2) think I'm getting good at it
10) Do you write crossovers?
I have one, and I so RARELY get to talk about it because it was written for me and like two friends. Night Shift is my crossover fic: it's Spike from BTVS X Gambit from X-Men (and apparently it has 21 kudos??? who are you people reading this crack ship???). Anyway, Gambit and Spike hook up and through a series of misunderstandings, they end up on a roadtrip/fleeing a murder scene together. Spike thinks Gambit is a demon, and Gambit has no idea Spike is a vampire. I'm realizing I haven't reread this fic since I posted it, which is WILD because this is such a self-indulgent fic, so I'm going to go read that now
11) Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not to my knowledge
12) Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope, but people are free to do so! Just credit the original work :)
13) Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yep! Between You and Me (AWAE) was such an interesting project to work on! There was a group of about 13 of us, and we all had a week to read the previous chapter and write our own chapters to continue the story. I'd love to do something like that again
14) What's your all-time favorite ship?
Spike/Buffy, but funnily enough, I don't have a strong drive to read fic for them. I'm satisfied with how the show handles their relationship arc and haven't really had to resort to reading fic because of that
15) What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
I don't post wips that I don't intend to finish. I've got a few wips in my docs that may never be finished of course, but on AO3 my only wip rn is Place Your Hand In Mine, my AOS academy-era mckirk fic, and I fully intend to finish that one; other fics (trektober, zines fics, etc) just got in the way
16) What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue and smut
17) What are your writing weaknesses?
Still trying to be a more concise writer; I'd love to be able to say more with less words
18) Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?
I haven't taken a language course in 5+ years. I think if I had to I could write some simple French dialogue, but not without doing a lot of studying to make sure I was saying what I meant
19) First fandom you wrote for?
On AO3, X-Men. IRL? when I was 12 the only person I knew who wrote fic was writing Youtuber fanfic, so I tried that out for a short stint before immediately shifting to Doctor Who
20) Favorite fic you've ever written?
what remains unsaid. I don't think it's my best fic, but it does hit all the beats for what I often look for in fic, so it's doing everything that I want in a story. What really draws me to some of the TOS Movies is how they deal with themes of parenthood and Jim never really fitting into the role of father and being very aware that he doesn't fit that role. I just really love that he's shown as having faults, like yeah, he wasn't a father to David and he knows that. This fic is in a 5+1 Things format exploring Jim's relationship (or lack of) to David. It's not a ship fic; it was just a chance for me to explore those themes and really dive into Jim's head.
TAGGING: @antspaul @ladywaffles @diabeticjedi @gunstreet @borbtrek and anyone else who would like to do it, feel free to say I tagged you!

A list of pretty good actually teen/YA supernatural shows that I have personally seen and think are not That bad.
If I think of more I’ll add them to the list.
Pretty Please give me Campy Supernatural recommendations.
Zombies (I’m actually terrified of zombies so a lot are too scary for me)
Z nation (very campy the middle seasons are my favorite)
iZombie (only the first season)
Vampires (i wanted to be one when I was ten)
The vampire diaries (i don’t really recommend ALL of TVD it gets super frustratingly boring for me at least)
The Originals (the edgier spin off I did not like it but it’s worth mentioning)
Legacies (the only one of the three I actually recommend wholeheartedly. It’s campy it’s stupid and it’s fun also there’s a musical episode!)
My babysitter is a vampire (absolute classic but not as classic as-)
Buffy the vampire slayer (it had an awkward implied sex scene that made me laugh also has a musical episode)
What we do in the shadows (older skewed but absolutely hilarious)
True blood (be warned if you haven’t seen it. Confederate vampires abound 🤢, other than that though it’s pretty alright)
Werewolves (give me recommendations please)
Wolf Blood (absolute favorite of all time, its on Amazon prime and peacock and I Highly recommend)
Teen wolf (classic)
TVD and it’s spin-offs also count but If you want Werewolf content The Originals is probably your best bet tbh
Wolf pack (buffy cameo in the first episode, im hooked)
Miscellaneous (witches, ghosts, otherwise spooky)
Wednesday
Julie and the phantoms (girl accidentally summons ghosts by playing an old cd in her garage. Drama ensues. every episode has at least one song)
Binny and the ghost ( girl meets ghost boy and they fall in love, very cute. German Disney channel, is not on Disney plus the only way I know to watch it is piracy)
H2O: just add water (mermaids… need i say more)
Cursed (Arthurian but with a twist)
The imperfects (a group of 20somethings underwent experimental treatment for a condition that eventually causes them to develop supernatural powers that turn them into “monsters” lovingly called a “coming of rage” by its fans)
Dirk gently’s holistic detective agency (Elijah wood and Samuel Barnett are very lucky at solving crimes. Contains my poor meow meow Bart (love her) and also my girl crush Amanda. It’s weird and campy and I wish it had gotten more seasons)
The Witcher (I really liked season one and two!)
Charmed (the original AND the reboot are both very fun, it’s about witches)
Once upon a time (long and not paced very well but it’s fun at times, I had a crush on Peter Pan when I was a kid and his season is the best so there’s that.)
The 100 (Technically sci-fi but I’ve heard it gets supernatural at some point so when I get there I’ll probably move it, it’s kinda stupid but it’s campy and FULL absolutely brimming with hot men and lesbians and it Still got probably too many seasons)
Dead Boy Detectives (if you can’t tell I like mystery shows. GHOSTS! Ghost boys solve mysteries with their psychic friend! Has a lot of queer rep and tbh I think it’s handled better than a lot of stuff recently Especially Edwin, Jenny was a little less so but i did love that there were No homophobes I mean a few were implied but they don’t get any platform. VERY cute and very emotional at times I would rank it up there with The Imperfects as one of my Favorite modern supernatural shows. It’s a Netflix original as well so its chances of getting a second season are low but I adored it, it’s set up for at least one more season but you know how Netflix is.)

One Girl in All the World: a super spoilery review
There’s a non-spoiler review on my insta but here I’m planning to go all out. I wanna share my thoughts on all the things that were going through my mind while I was reading, but because there were too many, I’m just gonna talk about some.
In Every Generation was exactly what I wanted the canon to be. Picking up after the show’s been off the air for a while (a long while), not focusing on what happened to the majority of main characters (but briefly hinting at that), and telling the story of a slayer (or the slayer).
And One Girl continues this tradition, putting Frankie against a new Big Bad.
Here come the spoilers so go on ahead if you’ve read the book.
The story
It feels like season 2, where Frankie already has her slayer routine down, has her Scoobies in check and training, and a demon to swoon after. I guess, for a slayer, this would be what passes for normal life. First of all, this all fits in well with Buffy s2. It definitely gives off the same vibe and, what I like most, the Big Bad is not ancient evil like the Countess, but something more personal – a slayer. Or rather a band of slayers with Vi, which makes it personal for Hailey, and Aspen as their leader, which makes it personal for Frankie (because she’s Grim’s evil ex although he himself may or may not be evil, so…). And the fact that Buffy’s disappeared makes it personal for everyone else.
Of course, you don’t trust the sappy “I want to give the power back” from Aspen. You buy it from Vi, but we know her. Vi isn’t evil but she’s traumatized which I love as a concept because we never got to see the real impact of surviving the first with no slayer power to back you up. And those girls went through hell. Just getting the power doesn’t make you strong and doesn’t make you a hero.
But Aspen wasn’t there, and she’s the other side of that coin - when you get the power you might want more. I think I called it right away through all of the hints at her personality. Which are brilliantly done, I can almost see how it could have happened in the show, somewhere mid-season. So Aspen is the evil slayer who recruited a bunch of others, including Vi, for her cause that is seemingly humanitarian but really just a power grab. I actually see Kennedy trying to pull something like that and not just because she’s irritating, but because she’s too power-hungry. Alas, it’s not her. It’s Aspen, who skillfully invents just enough propaganda to brainwash a bunch of slayers who weren’t in s7 and are nowhere near Buffy’s inner circle.
Speaking of Buffy, she’s alive (which no one tells Dawn, which IS classic Willow to be fair), and imprisoned in another dimension. This is a good balance between where we need her to be – not in this story, and where we can’t in good faith put her – in the ground (again! Third time’s a charm). And this is very fair, since Buffy has no place in this particular story. No matter, at what point she shows up, she will immediately draw all attention to herself. She is a great motivation and role model for Frankie, and in a way, it would’ve made every bit of sense to me even if she was dead. Yeah, I love Buffy and don’t go all you’re betraying the icon for a new kid. But as long as Buffy’s alive, it would be hard to let her go and follow another slayer.
And the inevitable question of who she ends up with? It shouldn’t really be resolved. That’s it on Buffy because see? She’s already taking up too much time, and this isn’t even her story.
So Frankie’s up against slayers which is scary and unfair and seems impossible.
To make things worse, she’s up against an army of familiar demons. And here is one of the things I love: every book tries to namedrop the demons we know: Fyarls, M’Fashniks, hellhounds, etc. Most do it randomly and aggressively and you feel slightly irritated. This one gives you a damn good reason with the beacon and doesn’t really focus on the demons as much as their impact. And the “greatest hits” comment is very well deserved.
The swim team tho… that really made me laugh out loud and with joy. It’s like every easter egg is done in a very loving manner. I love that, and while it doesn’t hit at nostalgia (because I just finished a rewatch and because I watched the show 8 times in 3 years), it does tie in to the history of Sunnydale.
Frankie and her Scoobies are up to the challenge though, and with a little help from their friends and adults, they defeat demons with blunt force and slayers with smarts. Which really sums up Frankie and establishes her as her own slayer with her own approach. She has the “I’m not Buffy” moment and I love her for owning that. And once again, this follows the show in a smooth manner. Something similar, mind you, already drove Faith to evil, so could we stop comparing slayers?
The story is wholesome like a tv season, so you feel like you’re still watching the show. And its ending leaves so many stories to be told. I am really not ready for this to be just a three-book story.
The Characters
Always my favorite part.
Are we the grownups?
I watched Stranger Things just last year and the thing I loved most is that it feels like a ya show, but it has several arcs for several groups of characters with different ages thus avoiding the absent parent issue that used to be a staple for ya.
This same thing happens in both IEG and OGIATW. Only the adults are actually involved where it matters. We know these adults and we know how it used to be only their thing. Yeah, they had Giles also, but he was still very much a watcher, an authority. And Willow and Oz, they feel much more like how we feel now. Relatable. They still don’t know what they’re doing (because who ever does?) and they have to combine parenting with the supernatural stuff. They wonder how Joyce and Giles managed (they drank). This hits close to home whether or not you have kids. And immediately you can put yourself in Willow and Oz’s shoes.
How mature are any of us anyway?
There’s their relationship as well, that’s brought up again in this book. The fragile co-parenting thing on top of their past. It’s lovely how this gets resolved and then Sarafina shows up to both complicate and uncomplicate things. Again, like in the show, life is happening and it feels cozy.
The kids are alright
The only issue I have with this book is there’s not enough room for everything that I wanna know. I wanna spend more time with these characters, hang out with them between patrols more and I understand that that’s simply impossible in just one book. But some side stories would sure be nice. Tell them in comics because I don’t see much fan art and I want to see fan art. I think I’m most impressed by their non-toxic dynamic. Buffy, Willow, and Xander managed to be terrible to each other and never address them. We still love them, (except for Xander) but we call this out daily. Frankie, Hailey, and Jake are not that at all. They are supportive and open, and that helps them. That’s why when Frankie’s with Jake before the final battle, getting their kindergarten magic, it seems natural and honest. If they ever turn on each other, there better be a damn good reason.
Frankie
This girl is fantastic. I already covered her slayer side and her skill. But I’m yet to talk about who she is. Which is something she herself is trying to figure out, and like most teens, she compares herself to others. Like most teens, she looks at herself through a magnifying glass and finds herself lacking. But she learns to appreciate it and sticks to her own style. That’s so useful coming from a teen character who isn’t confident. Gaining that confidence without relying just on superpowers (because so what if she’s a slayer, who isn’t?) is what Frankie does flawlessly.
There’s also first love (in her case it’s really more hormones than in Buffy’s). Still, all the similarities are done in such a hilarious way when everyone around her says “No, no, no!” (except Hailey who’s all “Go for it!”). I love how it dawns on Willow that she used to be that same support group for Buffy. But Frankie did indeed, inherit the main Slayer gene with going for the dark broody type who may or may not be evil. And there’s something both mature in the fact that she understands this ambiguity right away, and her incredibly immature teen-crush attitude.
While many may say that it was the same for Buffy, I can’t agree. Buffy was more independent by that point, her life was entirely different, and she continued to grow in that relationship. Also, 200 years vs 2000 is a considerable difference. But you know what, we aren’t talking about that, and not ever in comparison to real life.
Back to Frankie and her hot demons. She has her own way of dealing with relationship issues, and that’s a damn straightforward one. I admire that, and to me, this is one of the things that modern teens probably do better than we used to. There are fewer games and assumptions. Still, even with that, a teen is a teen, so she isn’t wise beyond her years and she will make mistakes.
Hailey
The dynamic between sisters, especially conflicted, is something I had no doubt Kendare Blake could manage. After Three Dark Crowns and (earning redemption for Kat of all people), that is a given. Hailey is the “powerless” one of the bunch. But she works hard and she is a very formidable opponent even for demons. She has a lot going on too, with the new relationship that seems to be going well prior to meeting the parent. And that’s a timeless issue, I mean when was it ever not an issue? Expectations are absolutely always in the way and she ends up in this annoying limbo where she wants to know what Sig is thinking but he doesn’t let her. And like so many of us, she takes the only exit we know – push ‘till you get the answer. Is that right or not? I mean, who really knows?
Now there’s an irreparable strain on her and Sig, and Sarafina might go away but the issues won’t.
See, High school is still hell doesn’t matter whether you’re actually in class.
Jake
Jake also has things to sort out. First of all, with his wolf: he wants to get the level of control Oz has, but is he doing it for the right reasons? This can be a metaphor for a lot of things, especially in your teens. But he’s trying to grow up faster and become more of use. While no one actually knows how it would work for him. I honestly even forgot that he was born a werewolf, and we haven’t seen that yet. But I love that with this book Buffy lore is getting richer.
The other thing for Jake is his feelings for Sam (who’s still wondering why Spike didn’t let him join the D&D campaign). Sam is Jake’s friend, we already met him, and here has his first encounter with the demonic creatures. He is gonna have a tough choice to make and had it been a show, imagine the drama. But so far it seems like their relationship is gonna go fine, they both like each other and have things to discuss and figure out. I keep saying it feels like season 2, and it does because of these little things. That’s why I want more time with these characters, they have their own sectors of life that are so exciting.
Spike (neither a kid nor an adult really)
I was thinking of throwing him in with the adults but come on, it’s Spike. If you missed him for what he was in the show, then don’t sleep on this series. It’s literally the same character: he’s not an overly romanticized love interest, he is still recalling the good old days when he ate people, he attends a poetry club (which is both funny and perfect for him), he’s irresponsible when it comes to his day job (rebel). And you can bet he will try to look cool when there’s a chance of seeing Buffy again.
Not to compare but the things that irritated me in Big Bad and Bloody Fool for Love (neither book is bad but I prefer both vampires closer to canon) are averted here. You instantly recognize the Spike you know. And his Watchering… well let’s just say we could argue whether his statement from the first book is true and Wesley was the worst. I mean both got rogue slayers on their hands, and he is still learning how to be the good Watcher with Frankie. But no one is perfect and he’s at least getting closer.
Personally, I think Robin Wood would’ve been the perfect Watcher. Much better than Andrew.
To sum it up:
The story continues to metaphorize teen experiences.
It works well for both old and new Buffy fans, and for every generation.
Every character we know feels absolutely true to who they should be by now.
Lore gets expanded and some theories even bring more sense to the go show.
New Scoobies are established and going strong.
There are hints at future character arcs and a strong idea of what’s at the core of the next book.
As far as expansions on the canon go, this one is perfect in every sense.

Hi Monica! Love that you have the same name as one of my favorite sitcom characters :) I was curious how you'd rank the BtVS seasons and the AtS seasons from the one you love most to the one like you like least? For BtVS, I think I'd go S2, S3, S1, S4, S6, S5, S7 (so validating that you and one of your anons dislike season 5 too!) For AtS: S1, S2, S3, S5 and S4. Those are just my preferences, but obviously even the seasons I'm less enamored with have a few great episodes!
Hi! A lot of my anons like Friends! It's a very popular show, haha.
BtVS:
Season 2: To me, this is the best season. It has the best villain, not because Angelus is like super deep and interesting but because the conflict between him and Buffy and how Buffy is transformed is so good. Angelus made BtVS what it is. The season also has so many amazing episodes, the characters and ships are great, and even the filler episodes have their charm.
Season 3: I think this season is quite overrated tbh. I don't find Faith interesting and The Mayor is fun but not a compelling villain. Thematically, it's much weaker than season 2. Still, it has lots of standout episodes. It's just kind of shallow? Imo. Also, doesn't feel very cohesive.
Season 1: Love this season. Lots of great episodes, so charming and fun. In a way, I think it's deeper than most of season 3.
Season 6: It has lots of ups and downs, but it does have some strong episodes and themes. It's not boring anyway.
Season 4: It has some great episodes, but it's poorly executed. It's hard to embrace the new setting and it's hard to connect with the characters who feel like strangers to me.
Season 5: In theory, it should be a great season, but it's so boring and depressing most of the time. The characters don't get along much, Glory is annoying, the stuff with Riley is blah. I can't even remember most of the episodes because they just run together.
Season 7: Truly a shit season, but it doesn't start off bad.
Our ranking is the same except you prefer season 4 to season 6!
AtS:
Season 2: Absolute masterpiece up until, and including, Epiphany. Watching Angel's dizzying downward spiral for the first time was the most thrilling and satisfying experience I've had as a viewer, like, ever, and I'd give anything to feel that high again. I felt that shit in my soul. No show has ever topped it for me. Angel was so relatable, there was no one I understood better. Too bad the writers massively fucked it all up with the abrupt shift in tone after Epiphany. That's when season 3 unofficially starts to me.
Season 1: So many amazing episodes, especially the flashback episodes or the episodes that dealt with Angel's past, plus IWRY and the Faith episodes, of course. I love Wesley and Cordelia's relationship, and Doyle was great too.
Season 4: An absolute mess, but conceptually and thematically so interesting. It has so many brilliant episodes and arcs. It's really a masterpiece with a side of shit soap opera. Honestly, it's pretty much tied with season 1 to me. It's cohesive and accomplishes a lot more than season 1 even though it's maybe less rewatchable.
Season 5: Doesn't feel like an Angel season at all. Give me back Tim Minear, and get rid of the BtVS writers and Spike and Andrew, please. Still, Wesley's arc and Illyria are genial and Not Fade Away is the best finale I've watched. Shout-out to Origin as well - I love that episode to bits.
Season 3: The Darla, Dark!Wesley and teenage Connor arcs are great, amazing even, but everything else is crap. Angel's a moron half the time, Cordelia isn't Cordelia and some episodes are yikes.
I see our Angel ranking is very different! We only have season 5 in common. Are you a Cangel fan? Or a big Cordelia fan? Since you like season 3, and season 4 not as much?
Thanks for the ask!

Meet the writer
rules: use this picrew to make yourself and answer the questions!
tagged by: @ladyniniane on my other blog, but this is my writing blog so I prefer to post here. Thank you for tagging me ! That picrew is fun !
Three fun facts about me:
I love fashion history and I try to study it on my own.
My favourite tv show is Buffy the vampire slayer; Charmed is a close second.
I have been working on a historical Stucky fic, going from 1918 to maybe 2030, for two years and a half. It's hard. I have so. many. charts. So many history books in pdf. I've read so much meta.
continent where I live: Europe
how i spend my time:
Mostly reading and messaging my friends ! I'm doing historical research for my Stucky fic, that's taking a lot of time. I like knitting, doing embroidery. I like watching history documentaries. And I love tv shows a lot !
are you published?:
One of my critiques was published in a magazine when I was a teenager, but it was for a contest so it doesn't really count. I used to dream of having a novel published, but now I prefer to work on my fics, get back into writing, and enjoy it. I don't want or need the validation of publishers anymore. I just want to write good fics, and even silly fics, and make ao3 readers happy.
introvert or extrovert:
Maybe both ? I really need to be with people, I'm a chatty, social creature, but after a while I get overwhelmed (anxiety hello) and I need some time alone. I could never live without social interactions.
favorite meal:
Food is love. Food is life. Choosing is hard. I guess I love brunch ! And tea time ! I love french food, italian food ! Pastries ! I like food that is made with love, care, and good ingredients.
I'm tagging @willesgaywrath <3

not the same anon, but OMG I'd love to know your thoughts on Buffy! But please keep in mind that the show only significantly improves from episode 2x13 onwards (with seasons 2, 3 and 5 being the best ones, at least imo). I find season 1 to be underrated in many ways, but it's certainly not BtVS at its best.
Buffy initial thoughts then!
I thought I'd be more turned off by the 90s of it all but I just keep in mind that the show is now 25 years old, and since like BtVS I too am a child of 1997, I'm not going as hard on it. In a way it really reminds me of that Charmed vibe, and I love Charmed with all its dated-ness. Sarah Michelle Gellar is stellar and I thought she'd have been older during the first season but she was only 20 which is fine. Some of the actors playing high schoolers were deffo 30 but not the main ones as far as I can tell.
Interesting that you say there's a significant improvement after 2x13, I'll keep an eye out. I thought it'd be harder for the show to keep my attention in these very early episodes but no, I'm liking it so far. Only on episode 5 (or already, depending on your perspective) but it's all good so far. Obviously many things are dated but I'm lenient due to the 1997 of it all. Sometimes it's easy to guess what will happen as TV in general was more formulaic in the 90s but I'm seeing already how the show does play with tropes and does the unexpected in fun ways. It surprised me in the very first scene!
Idk if I should do like character impressions, let me know haha. I'm glad to see Charisma Carpenter, or as I know her Kendall from Veronica Mars. I know this will be shocking to all who follow me, but I have a soft spot for mean girls. And great to see Alyson Hannigan, of course, but I was well aware she was a major part of this show.
There are a few things I know about the series already, inevitably since it's a huge pop culture icon and I have been around from its start, but I'm happy to go into with at least somewhat fresh eyes. I guess liking season 1 just fine means that I'll really enjoy "BtVS at its best" haha. I'm sure it will take a while to get through the whole series but I'll keep you periodically updated, if you'd like. I also have no idea whether I'll wanna watch the spinoff, for now I'm staying with the main show.
#luckily it's not like i wanna fastforward through s1 to get to the supposedly best bits#season 1 is fun! i'm viewing it for what it is#buffy asks#anon

Buffy season 1 reflection!!!!!!!!!
My feelings on Buffy so far are very complicated because I find it crazy entertaining but there are so many things in the show that I just KNOW are terrible. I really enjoy the character dynamics its probably my favorite thing about the show. I find it endlessly funny that Giles has to hang out with a group of teenagers, and (when xander isn't making it weird) the main group is super cute and funny together. Also really like the setting, highschool shenanigans are always fun and idk it just seems like it would have been very cool to be a teen in the 90s. Also I like monster of the week stuff with a more overarching plot, you can kind of just enjoy things as they come and have the security that it's pretty much always gonna be resolved by the end of the episode. FOR WHAT I DONT LIKE. well "Buffy Speak" is annoying. like I'm getting more used to it and even able to find it charming at some points but BOY when i started the show it was almost making it unwatchable. i can see myself liking it by the end of the series but for now lets just be a little annoyed with it. Other thing that really gets me is the buffy/xander/willow love... line? idk i think i could stand it if xander didn't pine over buffy and wasn't weird to girls because he's very weird to girls. Somehow buffy manages to be like girlboss feminism win while also being the most sexist show every created. and maybe that was just like the era but yeah i don't enjoy watching male characters I'm supposed to like perv out over women.
Character Thoughts
Buffy- shes so awesome like honestly!! i like that she lives this very bad ass life and like we the viewer know how cool she is because we see her do all these bad ass things, but to the rest of the school shes just kinda like this weirdo kid who hangs out in the library. it kind of makes her an honorary fail girl in my opinion. And just her whole attitude of wanting to be a normal teenage girl so when it comes time to slay monsters shes like "ugh. guess its monster slaying time! whatever!" and acts bad ass as hell but doesn't really care. also its just awesome that she is physically super strong. like she will just randomly be punching through walls and doing sick backflips. ugh i love it
Giles- I. LOVE. GILES. im a Giles fangirl all the way like what else is there even to say about it. When he comes on screen I'm just like instantly smiling. funniest character ever invented. And again i just love that he has to hang out with teenagers all the time and sometimes they just like bully him for being old and lame and into books and he's constantly getting beat up and thrown around. yeah i don't even have much to say he's just awesome
Willow - Literally the blueprints for dorky nerdy girls everywhere like what else is there to say. we all know she is literally BEYOND iconic. Shes so cute and smart and charming and like honestly its like. how many girl in media really DO get to just be dorky like its pretty rare i feel like that's why its like. she was the blueprint man.
Xander - ... yes my complicated feelings yes yes. he's soooooo annoying and fail but... you know i like when guys are fail guys.. BUT HES ALMOST TOO FAIL. of course like i already said i hate the way he acts to women and when buffy rejected him and he acted super pissy and like "ugh whatever you only don't like me because you like that chad Angel ugh nice guys always finish last" I literally wanted him dead. so beyond cringe with that kind of behavior. BUT when he's like being sweet and goofy then I'm like.. aw hi funny guy from the 90s lol! and i do think his relationship with willow CAN be super cute cuz idk i just like the whole childhood friends vibe and i like that they have a relationship outside of their time with buffy and its nice to get little glimpses of them together just being buddies. I think the whole situation would be 100% better if xander was pining for willow instead of Buffy and willow was the oblivious one. I am not against their relationship at all i just hate to see willow be the one pinning for him cuz its like girl. you can literally do better okay. you are awesome. whatever. sorry for being a halfway Xander apologist
Cordelia- literal girlboss. every time shes on the screen its a treat. I just love the vibe where she is like?? friends with the main characters kind of? but also just bullies the shit out of them and is so mean in every interaction. see the thing is if they were't friends at all she just wouldn't talk to them or they wouldn't talk to her. but they always end up talking so there is obviously some kind of relationship there. but its just like one where she calls them losers and they are like "alright. well see you next week cordelia" If you are a hater and think shes mean get out of my face shes literally awesome and funny. also in the final when she drove her car thought the school doors... SO . GIRLBOSS. i am very excited to see where her character goes cuz i got the feeling at some point shes gonna turn into some kinda supernatural monster. i just feel it.
Angel - eh lowkey who cares. I am never one to be interested in the mysterious brooding guys its just not my thing. He reminds me of Edward from twilight both in face and attitude and because he's a vampire of course lol
Episodes
Honestly they were all kind of of equal quality. Nothing was so horrible I couldn't stand it they were all just good. One that kind of stood out as a favorite was "I robot, you jane", it was nice to have something more willow focused and it was very funny to see what people thought of the internet back then. Willow kind of online dating a guy was enough to make everyone freak the fuck out. And i really really love the way the demon robot looked. the idea of a demon existing on the web was just a cool idea in general. idk just a cool way of combining the supernatural with tech stuff
idk just look at this guy and tell me this isn't awesome
.... okay then... see yall in season 2!!!

Writers : TV/film/book.
If you don’t care about your characters…
I don’t care about your plot.
The only way I can get invested in plot is for me to be invested in characterization and the representation and development of both through those characters.
You can tell the most entertaining or interesting story in the Universe. If it’s not through your characters… I won’t be paying any attention. Plot-heavy material is not the only way to telling a great story. You can do so in other ways. Character-heavy material is beloved for a reason. It’s because people can see both themselves and those that they love in it and can learn from it and grow with it. With the characters that they love to watch. If you make it all about plot, you’ll fail in capturing a worthwhile audience that will be loyal.
90’s/2000’s cult classics like Xena, Buffy, Charmed, Star Trek, X Files etc… they’re timeless because they tell a great story over and over again. The story never gets tiring because there’s so many ways of seeing it and it really all depends on who the observer of it is. These stories last well after they’ve “finished” because there’s always more story to tell with them. And it’s all because of the characters and what they represent and how they develop and that of which can relate to or resonate with them - aka your audience.
When a show is plot-driven and plot-heavy, the story is always very specific and therefore not as dimensional as it could be. And your characters won’t be as dynamic as they could be. There’s nothing wrong with telling a specific niche story of course, but making it all about the plot ultimately makes it go stale very quickly. Use your characters and your watch-base to tell a great story that lasts longer that can be relatable and resonant for a wide range of people that ultimately come back time and time again because they love to see themselves, their loved ones and their experience within your story and characters.

Aha sounds coolio! I’ve never been in Croatia or Hungary but my sis in law is Bulgarian 😅 however I never visited Bulgaria apart from my brother and my niece.
Italy is very nice!! But Spain holds a special place in my heart! Sometimes I feel like I’ve been born in the wrong country lol 🤣🤣
Do you have your family in Croatia or Hungary?
I know, it’s your comfort thing for the night. I remember from ur post 😉
Buffy is alright I’ve seen it a long time ago and ER only a few episodes 😅
I hope your meds kick in soon Miley and you can get some rest. Appts can be very exhausting and sometimes the only thing u can manage to do on the day so it’s important you recharge ur body a bit 🩵
Oh yes haha my posts about 90's shows.
I've also started watching Beverly hills 90210.
And I'm mad cause they took charmed off of prime. 🙃🙃🙃
And the thing about born in the wrong country, YES. ABSOLUTELY FEEL THAT.
No I don't have family there, I'm going there for concerts but also have a days or 2 in between, and since I wanted to know how Croatia was anyway, this will be a good preview for me to know if it's a country I really wanna go on holiday too.
I don't do many things besides going to concerts for yungblud, because I also know most fans that always go, and I have never felt more accepted with my disabilities nor safe anywhere else. And I get to see a bit of the world in an organized way.
Altho fun fact. I don't know my full heritage from my real fathers side and I hear alot that I look eastern European, mainly Bulgarian. One of my best friends who is Bulgarian has said before I look more Bulgarian than she does 😂 so who knows 🤷🏻♀️
I think I'm starting to feel the meds but not fully yet, I hope you are feeling sleepy maybe? You deserve some good rest aswell! 💙💙
