I walk in the room nothing is felt but the eyes focused on the way my hips sway like the palm trees on a tropical island. Not a word is spoken but I know its intentions, its strong urges, its lustful desires. Its eyes feel on me like a pair of hands reading Braille. My ears can hear its howling thoughts as if they were projected on a microphone. I can feel its ideas reaching for a hug then a kiss  I watch as it licks it’s lips like a windshield wiper. I read its expectations of me on its mouth… I close my eyes, but in the blankness i see my expectations of myself as if i were looking through a window. I walk in the room, nothing is felt, but my presence. Not a word is spoken but it knows of my royalty. It watches me as a child watches his favorite super hero. My ears are filled with the golden silence of the room. I can feel it eager to read my story just as an art enthusiast yearns to learn about the meaning of a new work of art. It studies me like the college student cramming for finals & it knows that i am a crown held high into the heavens, but most importantly it knows that I just am.

Me Vs. Society: Scene Two

Society: You can do anything as long as you work hard. We'll always have you back through every step of the way.

Me: *dreams of going to a music school and eventually becoming part of a band*

Society: Guess what?

Me: What?

Society: You're never going to get anywhere in life! You are poor and ugly and no one will ever want you. No one likes freaks.

The real struggle of my life.

Me: Am I required to wear pants when I drive? Is that public indecency? I mean, nobody is gonna see my legs in this big van anyways...

Sensible Me: Stop being a lazy ass and go put on your shorts.

I tried to socialize and then I remembered how much it made me hate people.

Me Vs. Society: Scene One

Society: Come one come all, for you are all welcome and accepted into this wonderful place we're we all love each other!

Me: *covered in band merch, tattoos, and piercings* Cool!

Society: Just kidding.

Me: What?

Society: We're placing you with a bunch of people that will judge you and look at you as an alien! Congratulations!

Me: But we're all supposed to be accepted—

Society: No, that's a big lie fed to everyone! You silly child. You know nothing of the business world.

Wearing something black on my wrist tomorrow, but I don't know if anyone at my school will catch the signifigance.

I should become a gluten-free vegan because being this size and feeling gross all of the time is not okay.
