It's a Swap AU with Kel as Sunny, Hero as Mari. You know EXACTLY where I'm going with this.

This AU is VERY freeform btw... So a lot of things will be going how I think they'd go if it was those characters in those situations... the swaps arent exactly accurate either...

The headspace starts with Hero. But it looks like real life. Like home. It was perfect. Everything was the same and perfect. He meets with his friends, Sunny, Aubrey, and Basil. They tell him they were goinf to meet up with Mari at Sunny's house and head to the park. It all seemed okay!

You go to Mari and it all seemed normal, though... Kel was missing. There was no Kel. Not even a mention of him. Odd, right?

The battle mechanics also change! Instead of having to fight, you have to run! Not sure how... but you have to do several things to be able to keep running. That's how you win

Then you go the park, and it was similar to the event at Basil's house. Something is... wrong. Someone was playing at the park. Someone the gang didn't... recognize. Except... Mari. Mari, was about to say a name but! Everything cuts back to the room. Hero has to keep running. If he stops running or is too slow, game over. He runs until we wake up toooooooo!

Kel! To Kel... That's right!

What I'm going for in this AU is that Kel... he's trying to be like Hero. He wants to be like him and be the perfect brother to he the perfect son he once was to make up for killing him. He pents up his old personality inside to be like Hero. It's... bad.

And he runs away from his problems! That's what the battle mechanics are based off of! You gave me that idea actually... Kel will keeo running and running and running because if he stops to linger on emotions it'll catch up to him and he'll havr to face them and he can't.
