working in a lab as my pandemic job has had some effects I honestly didn't expect such as 1) whenever I get blood work done, I know what tests they're doing bc of the test tubes they have lined up and 2) I'm watching a TV show and had the reaction of "oh hey those containers they're using for tissue samples are the same ones we used for pap smears, neat"
