and next to us often, there sat this one guy who we were also friends ("frenemies") with, he always acted completely done with everything and thought us two were well annoying and cringe because he was quite grumpy (yet he liked to chat with us) so my best friend and i dubbed him "Sirius" and they called me "Claire" due to the whimsy energy that always winded him up. he didn't have a clue what we were on about so just went along with it. hehe <3

Miguel is a man who notices details, all the more so when those details are related to you. He noticed how you looked at yourself in the mirror from time to time, how you sometimes stood on your tiptoes when you were sitting to make your thighs look less large, how some days, even when it was hot, you wore a sweater covering you completely.

You were used to wearing baggy clothes, oversized sweaters and t-shirts, baggy pants, nothing that showed too much of your curves.

He'd noticed how you'd changed your diet lately, and how the portions you allowed yourself were... far too small for a normal meal.

You were depriving yourself of your favorite snacks, and even when Miguel offered you some, you begrudgingly refused. He could see the pain in your eyes, and he couldn't understand.

Then one day, standing in front of the mirror in your underwear, you started to cry. Miguel came running straight to you, taking you in his arms as you wept silently, little jolts shaking your body.

He stroked your back and hair gently, letting the sobs take their place as you sniffled against his shoulder.

"Hey hey hey," his voice was low, as if he felt that a word or a gesture a little too strong could break you into a thousand pieces, "nena, what's wrong?" he asked, stepping back.

He wiped your tear-streaked cheeks, your eyes were reddened and your lips bulged with heartache.

"I hate my body."

His heart cracked, and he came to take you in his arms again. So that was the reason for all this, for your restrictions, for all these choices that were doing you more harm than good. He couldn't understand how you could think such a thing, because he worshipped you like the goddess or god or deity you truly were.

"I wish I just looked different," you murmured against him.

"Why?" he asked, pulling away from you again to cup your face.

"Because, I look ugly, I feel ugly..." you sighed, your brow furrowing as hot tears rolled down your cheeks.

His lips were parted, he couldn't understand how it was possible for you to feel this way, to think this way about yourself. He found you so beautiful that the very thought of you thinking that way seemed almost impossible.

"I'm not pretty enough to be with you. There are so many prettier girls and boys than me-" you began, but he cut you off, not even letting you finish your sentence.

"Don't ever say that again," he said, his tone serious and almost warning.

He looked at you, sorry and almost angry. Because he was wondering who he was going to have to correct (annihilate) for having succeeded in making you think you weren't beautiful.

"Come here," he said, lifting you with ease to rest you on the sink while you were still wiping your cheeks. "Listen to me: Your body is not the reason I love you. I've fallen in love with your soul, your qualities and your flaws... even if I'm still trying to find the flaws."

You blew out a quick laugh from your nose, a tear running down your cheek as he brushed it away.

"It doesn't make you a failure, or undesirable, or ugly not to have the body of a celebrity on the cover of a magazine." he said softly as he kissed your cheek, his hand gently caressing your thigh. "Why should you worry about gaining weight?"

"Because it makes me ugly." you murmured, but he gripped your chin between his fingers so your eyes observed the truth in his.

"No, it doesn't make you ugly," he assured. "Even if you do gain weight, for me it's a given, because it always gives me more of you."

Your chin trembled slightly, and you bit the inside of your cheek.

"No matter how long it takes, I'll make you love yourself," he confirmed. "I don't care what you look like, I'll still love you."

You smiled, tears still gently flowing, Miguel coming to place both his hands on your cheeks to clear them. You let out a little laugh:

"Even if I was a worm?" you joked.

He smiled, sighing softly.

"Yes, even if you were a worm." he laughed, kissing your forehead before hugging you again.

"Lucky worm." you whispered, wrapping your arms around his back.

"Lucky me." he whispered against your hair, stroking it gently.

Lancelot is about three seconds from imploding.

About fifteen minutes prior, Lance had arrived at the annual Britannian Dusk Festival, an occasion which was put into place after his Uncle Meliodas and Aunt Elizabeth took the thrones.

Lance isn't usually one to go to these types of things, but he's started to realize that he, annoyingly, can't even say no to Tristan no matter how much he wants to. And the silverette had insisted he come along. And so, as soon as he'd stepped into the middle of town, a nephilim was immediately there with him.

"Oh, Lance, you made it! Come along, there's so much to show you!!" And then he'd grabbed one of Lance's hands and ran off, pulling him along behind him.

And ever since then, all he can think about is the hand in his. How it's both soft and calloused at the same time. How it holds onto his firmly, squeezing every so often as if to remind him of it's existence. And as Tristan talks and talks and talks about the festival and the booths and everything around them, Lance doesn't hear a single word of it.

He swallows as the tingling of bells reaches his ears and he looks up from the sight of their hands embracing to Tristan's face, red eyes locking with heterochromatic green and blue ones. And that's when he realizes that he never heard any bells. What he heard was Tristan laughing.

"Not like you to get so zoned out, Lance. It's kind of fun to see." Tristan says softly, a knowing look in his eyes and a slight pink to his cheeks.

He looks down at their hands and moves his own hand in order to line their fingers up and then lock them together. Lance's already pink cheeks darken, his eyes widening slightly.

"If I knew just holding your hand would make you react this way, I would've done it a lot sooner." Tristan says cheekily.

He stares at the prince for a few seconds, mouth opening and closing as he tries and fails to make his brain form words. So, instead, he just scoffs and looks to the side. "Whatever. They got any good food around here? Not the sweet crap you're always eating."

Tristan grins brightly. "Of course! I know just the booth!" And he goes right back to dragging Lance along with him throughout the crowds of people. And if Lance lets an affectionate smile form on his lips, then that's nobody's business but his own.

i remember you making a post of best dressed man and you had included GD in it saying how could the thread be completed without him something like that and i was like gd? Because i haven't really seen the guy from back in the yrs, wtv i have seen is wtv clips ppl post on twitter and IF i come across it (kind of rare cause my circle mostly revolves around jm). I'm not particularly interested in k-pop or idols so i don't really try to deep dive there, very satisfied with having obsession with jimin only so what i was saying is that some time ago i saw someone making a thread on twitter about GD's photoshoots and t had great engagement with over 100k+ likes and damnn the thread reminded me why you included him in your that post of best dressed man.

Okay personally i won't say if he's good dressed or not because I'm again not much into that stuff BUT the experiments he did with his photoshoots were crazy like i haven't seen anyone do even 10% of what he did with those photoshoots. There was this one particular shoot of him with a woman and again damnn honestly. He was doing all that those many years ago. I get the hype he'd have around him and i know he's like one of the most popular from his times and most popular from his grp.

If BTS members ever do even ONE of his photoshoots from that thread ig the fandom would be GAGGING and idk they'd make the member some queer icon (They might have made taehyung one because of him posting gay movies and all that). Honestly? Hands down the craziest photoshoots i have seen and all of them actually. The clothes and all were very different experimenting and idk it could be big for me because I'm not much into all these stuff so haven't really checked many but yeah like seeing BTS's shoots and even other groups on my tl like none of them are doing it like the old generation ig.

Also wondering that if GD has done like that with a female why are these Kpopies be gagging and even shipping with even two idols (for this particular situation I'd say "idols of opp gender") ?? Should these things be not Regular and Normal? Or is it because it's rare to have these interactions in last 2-3 generations hence this state? I have seen few clips of old generation male/female idols having fun during shows n all unlike recent ones where ppl are just sitting there in the fear that someone might ship you with xyz idol there if you even smile lol. I'd never forget that one time i went ahead and watched a lizkook video on yt because i kept getting it recommended to me so i thought that if i watch it once I'll stop getting recommended again n again plus i was new in the fandom (tho i kinda knew how 'shipping' in geneal works in those edits, wasn't aware of the crazies of kpop shiping tho), i kid u not the whole video i was waiting for that one interaction because of which the video was made or because of which ppl are shipping. Why i brought the shipping in btw the photoshoot was because i can't grasp if any of the idol Today did that kind of shoot how everyone will react(or anyone has done it and I'm just under a rock?). Sorry for talking about two different topics in one ask and make it long but i kida those were interconnected for this conversation tho my og intention was to talk about GD's photoshoot but another thought popped up in my mind.

I have a great article for you which will shed some light on G-Dragon and its impact. I referenced it in my analysis of Jimin's portfolio, but it's worth reading it in entirety.

It tackles the concept of masculinity and its various shapes in different GD works, including his photoshoots and what was achieved through that. If I remember correctly, the thesis was that as much as GD was pushing boundaries, he always kept things in balance through specific acts that ultimately helped him stay in a safe zone as well. Basically his act worked for everyone.

i've never considered Igor to be close to snape gang/their age but you've put the idea in my brain and now im obsessed please tell me everything!! (if you want to ofc :)

I am more than happy to yap about this!!! I'll take any excuse to yap about them so thank you for asking!!

So we obviously only see Igor in GoF and we see he knows Severus, he has some weird tension with him from their DE days and that's what most of this is built on. That and when Igor greets Dumbledore he calls him "my dear fellow" and speaks of Hogwarts as if he'd been there before, calling it "dear old Hogwarts" andsays how good it is to be there, it feels very familiar. The theory I usually work with is that he was an exchange student for a year from Durmstrang, we know this is a thing, a Durmstang student has spent time at Hogwarts before and Bill Weasley was invited on an exchange trip to Brazil but couldn't afford it. But even if we ignore the exchange student stuff, he's a Death Eater which is like networking central for Snape's gang.

But going back to Igor and Sev, we don't know the extent of their history before GoF, we know that Igor gave Severus's name at his trial but he was already known as a spy to the Ministry so there would understandably be some tension there. I like to think that something happened between them that ended badly at Hogwarts but Severus thought he would never see Igor again and didn't bother trying to fix it. That was until one of them walks into a DE meeting and the other is there and Sev is like fuuuuuck and Igor is already thinking of ways to either get him in bed or kill him, or both. They spend the whole year of GoF bickering like a divorced couple and Viktor Krum is their weird child who (in the books) looks like a blend of them which is irrelevant rn but so funny to me and had to mention it. They're stuffed into cupboards, they're arguing at the Yule Ball in the snow when Igor tries to reach for Sev's waist in that deleted scene but Sev is like nuh uh bitch. Then there's just a lot of glaring like all the time.

As for the other members of Snape's gang, we know Charity worked at Hogwarts as a Muggle Studies teacher and right before she's killed she begs to Severus because he's a familiar face, so I like to think there's something there, maybe an old friendship that drifted ap because we know Sev kinda keeps to himself as a professor. It's not unreasonable to imagine she was also working there at the time of GoF too, same for Aurora Sinistra who we know has worked at Hogwarts for a while before Harry's first year AND WAS AT THE YULE BALL AND DANCED WITH BARTY DISGUISED AS MOODY!!!! Which I'm obviously so chill and normal about. Anyway, so Aurora at least has met Igor and knew him for the extent of that year at least, that's like a solid 9 months, and it's not too far of a stretch to say Charity could have too.

Then characters like Avery Jr, Wilkes and Mulciber (in whatever way you imagine them, I use Edmund, Wilhelm and Bruce respectively but you will rarely see me talk about the last two) were also Death Eaters like Igor and attended Hogwarts and were friends with Sev, so they would also know Igor probably from DE meetings at a minimum but if we're going with Igor being an exchange student, that's a whole year of school being in the same circle.

And if we're getting a little canon with it, Evan was in Snape's gang too!!! I don't particularly see him being besties with Igor, but my version of Igor would probably annoy Evan so much anyway and he already has a Barty so he doesn't need another nuisance.

I can't take credit for most of these theories though, some of it comes from @futurequibblerjournalist and some from bits of canon that the fandom have kinda woven together. At the end of the day, I find it quite fun to have all these links to characters knowing each other, especially when it comes back to bite them in the ass later!!!

Bittersweet Band AU

This I use inspired by a playlist I found on Spotify under the same name.

Below is going to be my headcanons and personal alterations to their AU. All I know is the following: Finn is the lead singer Alphonse is the Bassist Seth does Guitar Charlie Drums

The following are my thoughts and my thoughts alone. I don't tune into YurriVoice streams (im sorry!) so if the man himself has said anything about the guy's singing habits- they're not taken into account here. My b.

Finn isn't the only one that sings

Even though he is the main man for vocals, Al and Charlie are always ready to offer up their voice for a few songs. Seth on the other hand, I think he'd be apprehensive as hell.

Seth thinks he fucking sucks at singing but he's the best. If it wasn't for shitting on himself, management would force Finn out of the job. But no one can convince him otherwise. To Seth, the only singing he can do is background vocals if anything.

Seth and Finn started the band

Seth and Finn met in college. Well, let me rephrase that- Finn was in college, while Seth was the cute boy at the local bar who just so happened to play sets when he wasn't bartending.

Seth always stole the show. Mans was radiating main character energy. Magic shit going on.

Finn introduces himself and the pair somehow became good friends. Slowly Seth introduces Alphonse and Charlie to Finn, they all find out they have talent (woah) and after fucking around for a few months in Al's garage, they decide to go indie.

That is until they have a single that goes mainstream and they follow the success from there

Bittersweet isn't the band's name + fictional fan service (?)

I personally have no idea what the band's name would be but it defo wouldn't be bittersweet (to me). Instead, bittersweet is Al and Seth's ship name created by the fans (much like the main series but Yurri made the name instead and... yknow). All the ships created in this AU have names like this one instead of smashing the pair's names together (no I'm not jealous of the RWBY fandom- you are!)

Below is my indulgence of this idea

Finn and Al: Lavender Floss

Seth and Finn: Black Dahlia

Finn and Charlie: Heathens (a reference to when the two ask for pineapple pizza, Al, Seth, and the greater fandom haven't let this atrocity go)

Seth and Al: Bittersweet (ofc)

Seth and Charlie: Thrifting Queens

Al and Charlie: Bad habits

Little dose everyone know the band's own manager is at the center of a harem *cough cough* yeah bitches. Y'all walked into my trap card- Y/N is canon in this AU.

Conflict (if i were to write further into this AU)

Derek/ dark gang shit would still happen in this AU. Along with all of Al and Seth's shared fucked up shit. However, the dynamic would be somewhat like the beginning of Bittersweet- Seth and Al have tension between them but they act like mostly nothing is wrong. They don't wanna talk about it and Finn and Charlie won't bring it up out of fear for fucking up what the band has going on. To put it simply- the water is under the bridge, but the bridge is rickety and held together with duck tape and chewing gum but no one wants to bring up how crappy it is since it gets the job done.

While this is going on in the background, the public sees Seth and Al's chemistry and think that they are besties (or maybe more wink wink nudge nudge). This would eventually turn into some kind of big fight, one that Finn hasn't seen out of Al and Seth while Charlie has only seen this like... once ...a long time ago

Have it all be framed as shit no one talks about with Y/n because the band's relationship with them is mostly business. Hell- have shit that even other members don’t talk about happen!

Have people from everyone's past come up and like try to bear their fangs into what stakes the band has, whether the actual profit or like social stuff (Ex: an old EX of Finn or Al’s, maybe Charlie’s family ykno?)

Regardless of what conflict you make, the important part is that nothing should be addressed until it absolutely has to be addressed. Regardless of who brings it up first.

The main plot and side plots that I've thought on

There can be conflict in a plot, hence why this is seperate

So the main plot overall is going to be the band growing from indie into the main stream (maybe a tour arc too?)

Side plots would include, but are not limited to

Fandom meddling (This includes shipping, and the fans poking, and prodding into the band. Members even spoiling stuff before the band even announces it)

People from each member's pasts come back to “lay their claim” on any and all profit the band makes (as stated before)

Corporate meddling, whether it be Y/n themselves, or someone upper or lower down the ladder

The looming anxiety that every one of them if not any one of them can, and will be replaced if the band is not doing consecutively well

Social stunts (hooking up with other celebrities, in person or radio interviews, the tour in general)

Being stuck in different locations for varying moments in time

Each boy's relationship with a Y/N and each other

The sudden realization that the boys can do almost anything they want (with varying consequences to their actions) +how far you're willing to push that.

Okay, I'm done with my ramblings. I'm never gonna write about this AU but I think it's really fun to think about.

Ellie is one of the best friends of Allisa (Will's wife, will is -was?- one of Sebastian's besties), they knew each other from much before they dated (obviously because she and Seb were constantly in the same palaces/events because of their respective friends, there's even a photo of Seb ad margarita in 2014 and she's there 🤣) the thing is that in June 2018 we found out they were dating, I mean we weren't sure but they traveled in couples to north Carolina, then the next month in July 4th they celebrated together at Will's apartment and then she and Seb were together at will and allisa wedding that same month and days after someone caught them in a restaurant kissing. Seb traveled to Greece to shoot Monday in August, just days before his birthday, then he'd comeback to LA in Sep/Oct(?) to shoot "endings, Beginnings", after he filmed his part, he went to NYC and he was papped with Ellie in NYC in mid October, now, I don't know in which moment it happened but it was definitely before Brazil when some "fans" "discovered" (sorry, but 5 days later I'm still questioning how real those screen shots were😬) that she had said some questionable stuff years before dating Seb, for example calling a kid ugly (which lol, everyone has done that sorry) and supposedly writing the n word. now, the weird thing is that some "fans" talked with a friend of Ellie 😬 (those were the only very clear screenshots so I believe those were real) and she told them that Ellie would go to Brazil with Seb because they were going on vacation after the comic con he had to attend. personally I didn't believe it at first but then Ellie showed up in Brazil 😐, this friend of Ellie sent them a screenshot of a conversation with Ellie and the friend had asked Ellie of she was going to Australia for Christmas and she answered no because she'd be with Seb in Brazil or something like that and then shit exploded. while Seb and Ellie were in Brazil, someone took the Tumblr shit to Twitter (the n word thing) and it became something big, Sebs tag was full of people calling him out (surprise!!! calling him out for something he didn't do 🥱) and at the end, he ended up leaving Brazil after the comic con was over but he left the country alone, not Ellie in sight. I must say, Ellie denied what she was being accused of, she even said she'd take legal action against the people who started that but then she went private and eliminate all of us who were following her, she's been private since then. that same year, she went to Australia alongside will and allisa, I always thought Seb was meant to be in that trip but nope, he was photographed in Soho NYC December 24 🤭

Sorry, my bad, I misunderstood you! :) I just didn't want you to think I was one of those people who hate on the female character because their poor little meow meow, who (surprise!) happens to be a male presenting white dude, can obviously do no wrong lmao. Like, I love Ten dearly, but he was a selfish bitch with how he treated Martha and I think this is a good part of why I love Donna so much: cause she put him in his place, kept him grounded, called him out on his bs while still showing him the compassion he needed without babyfying him. I personally, even though I ship them, am glad they didn't end up together, but whether or not their relationship was more than besties is I think up for interpretation (I mean, Tennant himself seems to ship them so it's not that far-fetched).

But, I feel like a lot of Donna lovers or TenDonna shippers seem to forget that although Donna was so good for him, it doesn't mean it was her job to fix him to begin with. I think that's what a lot of fans hold against Martha: that she wasn't what he needed. But bro, let's be real: a good-looking, nice, charismatic alien shows up in his cool spaceship that also travels in time, and asks you to come with him.... are you gonna say no? Like, fr? Martha didn't know about everything he'd just been through, he kept it all to himself. And then made her feel guilty because she didn't understand everything like Rose did. Ten didn't try to hide it from Donna, either. In their first episode he admitted to the Empress of the Racnoss who he was, knowing that it would lead to certain revelations, and then he apparently told Donna about Gallifrey in between Partners in Crime and Fires of Pompeii because at the end of Pompeii Donna seemed to know about it. So that means he literally told her off-screen.

I'll be honest I don't really have any headcanons off the top of my head. I have to think really hard about those I like but usually I can point at a preexisting one and go "haha yes I like this one" without thinking of it myself =v=

I think my biggest hc rn - and it's kind of controversial bc ik ppl have different opinions on it - is that deku is just flat out gay. like that's his sexuality, he only likes men. I used to hc him as bi and I campaigned pretty hard for it, and regarding fandom ships I still don't mind shipping him with girls. (tbh with fandom ships, I kind of just disregard a character's sexuality hc entirely bc I'm a multishipper who thinks crack ships are fucking great.)

but vibe wise, as well as putting canon into perspective, he just feels so gay to me. he screams comphet. he's got some vague internalized homophobia where he's totally supportive if u're gay, but HE'S not gay. and there's no way he can be even though he very well could be. like just think about it. he was really only so shy and nervous around girls bc he's literally never interacted with one casually before high school. and after he got close to 1A and could, you know, talk to women, he lost any deeper attraction in them. literally what happened with him and ochako. that's just how I feel anyway, but he won't admit his natural drift towards men (bkg) and his emotional hangups on men (bkg). he hangs out with men (bkg) way too much for him to have any serious interest in women imo

anyway this is just my take, you can hc deku as whatever sexuality you want!!! I still think bi deku has so much flavor like yass be the disaster bi u were meant to be!!! but gay deku just speaks more to me nowadays, I guess

ok upon thinking long and hard, I have come up with these silly hcs as well:

they are both bad at verbalizing their feelings. dk is overall horrible with emotions that pertain to himself so he just doesn't dwell on his very obvious crush on bkg. he just thinks that it's normal to be obsessed with another man. like lol hes been doing it since he was a baby. it's not anything more. he is NOT gay. straight men can appreciate everything about another man and more! just bestie things! and bkg has accepted in his heart that he is gay for dk but u are NOT going to hear him say it. sorry but that man does not know how to even start a convo about this. he'd probably want to, but knows he'd fuck it up and dk would miss the point. he'd probably just tell dk to fight him and then make out somewhere down the line bc it's easier and less embarrassing to him. little does he know, HE'S embarrassing and I hate him.

so u know the whole "bkg is an early bird and dk is a night owl" hc? and how it's technically canonically wrong? yeah. I'm obsessed with how wrong it is. bkg going to bed early and waking up late is so real of him. he just really fucking loves to sleep, and dk is the exact opposite. man goes to bed late and wakes up at 5 in the morning. he gets like 3 hours of sleep maximum and he's functioning perfectly. god I wish I were him

this is one I just thought of right now but it's like. part of the fandom bible that bkg can cook and dk cannot. however. I think dk can cook ok - fine enough to sustain himself - but bake REALLY WELL. bkg can cook bc he's "a natural" who can easily figure out exactly how to cook and spice foods. he doesnt need to follow a recipe to a T, he can just figure it out himself. dk can bake bc I'd imagine baking, with their meticulous recipe requirements, are easier to comprehend for him. he takes a shitton of notes on the daily, u can't tell me he'll eagerly read and jot down shit so his pastries turn out well. he'd prefer following step by step than winging it. does this make sense. words are hard

I always like drawing bkdk pretty close in height. ik lots of bkdks like a height difference but I prefer when rivals are pretty equal, and that includes how tall they are

dk's hands are coarser than bkg's, except around the palms, where bkg canonically has thick skin (so I'd assume there's some callouses there)

I like to think that bkg is good at basically anything, considering how he's a perfectionist. give him something to do and one week to do it, and he'll have a new skill under his belt. but there's a few things he can't do that trip him up so bad and make him so angry. like to me he definitely doesn't know how to whistle or roll his Rs. he just physically cannot. they're such pointless abilities but he hates how he can't do them. especially bc dk can definitely do both

dk keeps calling bkg "kacchan" bc it reminds him of a simpler time :') it makes him feel more connected to bkg than he initially is, and tacitly tells the class that he knows bkg best. also bc bkg never told him to stop so like ... why should he stop now. lol. and ALSO bc he's waiting to see how far he can go before bkg snaps. little does he know, bkg never snaps about "kacchan" bc that's dk's name for him. it reminds him that dk is always there, always calling out for him. and recently, it's a reassurance that he's still here, against all odds
