Seeing people say such terrible things about transmascs is so hard especially when 90% of my mutuals hate “transandrobros” im too scared to stand up against ppl like that one post who think they can just talk about killing us en masse. Whisper Me A Love Song Episode 2 Review - A Date Between An Unmutual Love

It’s hilarious and cute how Yori is so down bad for this girl she just met. Actually, she’s not down bad. She’s down horrendous and has gay panics as strong as Uenoyama from Given. While it feels as if YoriHima (is that their ship name?) is fast-paced, I feel like it’s a slow-burn romance?

It’s nice that this episode is mainly used as a way for Yori and Himari to get to know each other. They learn more about each other like how Himari learns Yori likes cat merchandise, likes Russian Blue the most out of all the cat breeds, dresses stylishly and is actually not that much of an expert in guitars as she uses her father’s hand-me-down guitar. For Yori, she learns that Himari has a cat named Marota, likes to dress up for important dates, and really likes pasta to the point that Yori gets jealous over it. Yes, she thinks pasta is a love rival. The part where they get pair straps is cute!

I just can’t help but to feel a bit bad for Yori as she’s falling for Himari and her straightforwardness but Himari’s love isn’t the same. When will it become the same? It makes me wonder if this is going to take the entire season or if there will be a halfway point where their feelings are mutual and they start dating.

Now, the reveal that Aki has or had a crush on Yori is a bit interesting in terms of tension. She’s rather supportive of Yori and Himari getting together, meaning that she already knew her love for Yori would be unreciprocated. I just hope Aki won’t be a snake later on. I got my eye on you, Aki. You better not be a thorn on their side.

I honestly can’t wait to see how this will progress. Will Himari accept Yori’s confession or will it get delayed? What will happen next week?

Backstory: (To be updated!) He's an odd one, to put it mildly. No one really knows who or what he is (or why). He haunted by The Horrors(tm) that he never talks about because if he tries, he spirals into an unending, torturous mental abyss of madness and discord, but it's fine! Really! He's chipper and eager to go play detective at any given moment, really - having fallen in love with the old detective show persona(s) and thusly adopted one himself. Which sometimes gets others hurt if they're of the 'living' variety, especially. He's unintentionally a bit cold when it comes to the well-being of others, and tends to be rather theatrical and performative in his "caring" for others without realizing it, mistaking it often for genuine caring. I'm gonna apologize in advance for the profuse swearing but this is the only place I feel safe enough to vent and also long Covid is still messing with my moods so please just let me go off here.

But I'm fucking sick of people preaching 'liberal use of the block button' and that we don't need to justify to anyone why we block or unfollow them etc etc but who throw a fucking tantrum and act like a goddamn victim when they are ones who are blocked.

I removed a mutual as my follower and unfollowed, unfollowed! not even blocked! them because they basically gave me the cold shoulder for months while partying with other mutuals. It was getting to the point where opening up the app was giving me anxiety. So I decided to quietly unmutual us, thinking they wouldn't even notice, and go about my business.

I was literally blocked the next day and this person got all 'I have no idea what I did wrong. No idea why they unfollowed me,' blah blah making me look like the bad guy.

For fuck's sake. I'm not even mad they froze me out. No one owes me interaction, but at the same time the gall to be fucking 'surprised' and get all 'sad' when someone unfollows you when you blatantly ignore them is a little too much for me. 'Wanting your cake and eating it too' much?

You just can't fucking win.

➤   Well hey! My name is Emory; I’m 29 (they or he please!). Thanks for coming to read this! I’ll try to keep it as brief as I can. This is a highly selective, low-activity multi-muse blog for a couple OC’s of mine. Completely created, developed and loved by me! :)

➤   I work a full-time job and often struggle with my mental health – I may take a long time to respond both ooc and ic. I apologize in advance. It’s not because I don’t want to write or talk with you, I promise! I’m quite forgetful and am timeblind as well so don’t be afraid to nudge me if I haven’t gotten back to you in a few days time; but on the same breath, please don’t hound me for responses. I often have low social energy; it's nothing personal.

➤   Artemis (formerly Eros) is absolutely NOT on good terms with the Greek gods, nor does he have any interest in interacting with them (we might, but he’ll be very unhappy about it). It’s very likely he will become hostile towards them if they somehow find his shop (as they are directly responsible for everything bad that happened to him). He won’t attack them, and he won't ask them to leave immediately, but he will ask them never to return afterwards and likely be very curt with them. He plays this off as though he simply dislikes deities, which isn’t too unlikely given he’s a demon! *If your muse is a Greek (or Roman) deity, they will not recognize him, as he has been twisted beyond recognition and taken on an entirely new identity. ➤   I’m not follow for follow, so that means I only follow those that I’m interested in writing with. I also read everyone’s rules and character information before following/interacting, and expect the same from others. I won’t follow those without a rules page or a finished (or mostly at least) character info page; I like to know who I’m writing with!

➤  If I follow you first and you don’t follow back within a month or two, or similarly if we’ve been mutuals for a long time and we’ve never interacted and I don’t see it happening (ie if I keep trying especially, and you never answer me ooc or ic for like months / everything falls flat) I’ll likely unfollow just to keep my dash clean. You are always free to refollow and reach out if you decide you actually do want to interact (as I don't believe in any kinda 'permanently unmutualed' thing so feel free to come a and go as you please) BUT if I keep softblocking and you keep coming back without ever putting the effort into interacting with me, I'll probably just hardblock to prevent this. Nothing personal at all and it doesn't mean I dislike you; but I'm here to write and have fun, and to maybe make some friends! Please try to show interest if you are in fact interested.

➤   I'm not comfortable with interacting with H.ogwarts L.egacy // HP blogs (on any of my blogs), so it's highly unlikely I'll be RPing with anyone who runs one + probably won't follow via @.bcneheaded. ➤  Quality over quantity! But of course, please don’t give me a sentence in return for a couple paragraphs. On a similar note, I have the tendency to ramble. So please don’t feel the need to match my length if I’ve gone off and made the thread quite long. I’ll be happy with just about anything you give in return!

➤   Ships will be based on chemistry, and are possible here. Though given the nature of the muse(s), it may be a very long game, or a difficult thing to do. Discussion for pre-established relationships of any sort are super welcome and encouraged.

➤   I love continuing ask memes as threads and I definitely encourage you to do so if you’d like to (though it’s not necessary) as it’s a great way to break the ice and start something in general. I'll usually put it on a new text post with a banner on it (ie. "answered"), so feel free to reblog that directly if you want, or make a new one. I’ll like the post to let you know I’ve seen it, so if I don’t, don’t be afraid to ask to see if I have or not; we all know tumblr’s a little (a lot) funky, so I may have missed it!

➤ I generally don’t support callout culture, nor will I participate it in. You can certainly do what you want on your blog but I do ask that you please tag any callouts and/or drama. If you won’t or frequently don’t, then that’s alright, but please do know that I likely won’t be interacting with you or your blog and will probably unfollow– no hard feelings. I just don’t want it on my dash. If there's someone you believe is a genuinely harmful individual running about that you see me interacting with, please let me know! But I will look into it and decide for myself as to what I will do about it.

➤  NSFW content of sexual nature is very unlikely to appear on this blog as I don’t often participate in those kinds of threads (Artemis, the main character here is a sexless entity. he's literally made of tar. so.. yep!) But if I do for some reason in any capacity, it will be put under a read more and tagged as “ ( nsft ) ” and will only be done with people I’m close with or have discussed it with beforehand. NSFW themes may be more likely to appear in terms of DARK themes, as these muses are all horror related. (torture, existentialism, death, demonic imagery, etc.) But these will be tagged as such. The catchall tag will be “ ( horror tw ) ”.

➤  Speaking of nsfw content... there is NOTHING wrong with having a preference for nsfw writing. However, since I cannot participate in that kind of writing due to the nature of my muse - if the only thing you reblog or post about is nsfw content, I'll probably just softblock you.
