why doesnt CyN have wings…?

I like to balance my AU's and oc's with a sort of Trade system.

They lose one Huge advantage their species has, in exchange for a much more unique advantage against others.

Essentially, they lost flight in exchange for something else that helps them during combat.

The Ping Upgrade.

So what about V and J, are they on the CyN ‘i like you’ list?

V is neutral / mild dislike(due to betrayal)

Meanwhile J and Tessa are on the Mild Like end of the scale. They literally work for IT

can CyN do the callback ping, and if so, does it absolutely OBLITERATE N?

It can callback ping, but it works a Bit differently. One of the things that is changed is that it's Ping is on FXCKING CRACK.

It can entirely immobilize hosts with it for approximately 10 seconds. Side effect of having fused cores.

He's a fuckton more skittish.

ok so, how i handle their responses is seperate for the two components.

Short answer? Yes.

Long answer?

Cyn is, The Solver doesn't entirely like uzi because it feels she's trying to take N from it.

But N isn't, his reaction to seeing ANY uzi is so viceral that their shared body violently shivers and emits a distorted screaming sound, he's basically begging for uzi to run.

So about CyN, are they on copper-9 and if so how’d they end up there?

Cyn(Solver Possessed) Used Tessa and J to get there, after sending N, V, And another J to the planet.

Obv in a seperate landing pod.

THEY are currently still on Copper 9.

There's some good news for tessa fans in the au, she's Probably alive!! I can't publically confirm or deny it yet.

& Small tidbits of CyN behavior, straight from the notes.

When it walks, it uses it's large forepaws to keep ballance, by walking / standing on the backside of the hands. Kinda like a gorilla.

It crawls like an animal when "hunting", using all six limbs and sticking as close to the ground/surface it is crawling on, as it can get.

what are CyN's hunting tactics? /nfta

Ok so, not 100% canon YET bc concidering tweaking it but current idea is that they are both a Persistence Hunter, and a Ambush Predator.

How would this work? Well. They use fear to trick their prey into either backing themselves into a corner, or tiring themselves out.

It is a very patient and slow creature, and likely would crawl along the ground or walls.

Much like a spider, they will inevitably vanish into the darkness, and once their prey sits down to rest, they ambush them.

Pinning them to the ground with the larger paws. You know what happens with the smaller paws already though.

if someone were to attempt to cuddle the monstrosity (affectionate) that is CyN, how would it react??

Canon wise well-

Cyn would be absolutely confused, enough to actually let N Speak or respond.

N would be calm and actually very slightly comforted (god knows he needs it), staying there for a moment before clicking out of it and immidiately trying to get you to get the hell away from them.

They have a good reason for that, it would probably eat you alive in a matter of seconds if you hadn't confused it.
