I’m rewatching a lot of mcsm gameplay for the first time in years but I don’t think I ever watched season 2. I’m about to watch episode 1 rn but now I’m scared, everyone talks about season 2 so ominously😭 what trauma am I about to give myself?!

Why is episode 2 script so much shorter than the first one? Genuinely. Like I've been doing a thing for fun but for that I need to collect a bunch of data on all the dialogue, and episode 2 has so much less. Why? Does anyone know why?

Since people are actually being pretty positive toward Minecraft Story Mode after all these years and it’s kind of making a resurgence, and since mcsm is no longer really around to play like it used to be—I thought I’d share how to still “play it.” Remember when mscm was on Netflix and then got taken off? Well, the entire Netflix version of mcsm is ON YOUTUBE!! And still interactive!!

Only downsides to this are that it only includes episodes 1-5 (season 1), it doesn’t include all the gameplay features (you can only choose options, no button mashing or anything), and there are less dialogue options at times. However, it is essentially the same as the real game overall, and completely the same as the Netflix version (some of the visuals and emotions and such are actually improved on the Netflix version compared to the original)

aw hell nah we got jesse mcsm headcanons before gta 6

i dont really have set in reasons as to why i made each jesse have these personality traits other than going off of what the streamers i watch chose and the associated personality that they gave every jesse

as ive been remarking every mcsm blog i have in fact been watching rtgame mcsm… his 2024 playthrough had asshole jesse and i just cant get it out of my head. asshole jesse is such a personality… so i gave red suspenders that vibe. i got a comment on one of my blogs that suggested kwite’s stream/playthrough and after watching it i just like. i appreciate kwite’s genuine enjoyment of the game (but he’s definitely like acknowledging of mcsm’s flaws) and gave green suspenders jesse more or less how he played his jesse. i havent seen a single playthrough with yellow suspenders jesse at all, but i think he would be very kind. he just has that vibe <3

also if youre curious here’s how i think they made most of the important decisions in the game���

red: consistently chooses petra over lukas, picks ellegard’s armor, chooses not to help romeo at the end of season 2, is stern with radar, scornful of ivor & associated order, but then endears to ivor and finds him tolerable, is combat-efficient

*in instances where he does mess up, he tries to play it off

*toward the end of s1 and even moreso in s2, he loosens up and is a bit less prickly, but still has a deadpan delivery and pessimistic outlook.

green: chooses petra at first, but endears to lukas in the dirt hut and begins to pick him, chooses petra only in the PAMA episode, (panicked and picked whoever was closest), helps romeo, is a bit strict with radar but more in a mentor way, distrusts ivor consistently until he joins them for the portal arc, where he endears to him, is regretful over the order’s disband, picked magnus’s armor, good enough at combat but definitely misses often

yellow: chooses petra most of the time, picks lukas during PAMA arc, helps romeo, always tries to be on the good side of all characters, is kind to radar and treats him like a brother, tries to see the good in everyone and gives ivor (and the order) a second chance, picked magnus’s armor, (but did go with olivia to ellegard initially,) tries to minimize combat as much as possible but can hold his own well enough

Aiden is the BEST villain in MCSM.

1. AIDEN IS FUCKING HILARIOUS. The amount of shitty jokes, and how UNGODLY PETTY he is makes him so fucking hilarious. His whiny voice when Jesse doesn't answer in episode 5 season 1 if he leaves him there is PURE. GOLD.

2. "When you say it like that, it almost makes me feel bad" HE IS MENACING AT TIMES. AND HIS DRAMATIC ENTERANCE??? OMFG!

3. He is a MENACE. HE TWEAKED OUT OVER A FUCKING ENCHANTED FLINT AND STEEL. HE CAUSED TERRORISM OVER HIS JEALOUSY. FUCKING BATSHIR CRAZY.

4. He's BETTER. IVOR WASN'T A HUGE VILLAIN, HE WAS A NEUTRAL CHARACTER, BOTH BAD AND GOOD. Cassie, did NOT hold up. She's a good villain, but her plan just blew up in her face. Hadrain, I just hate him, but he did have a good plan. Admin, HE GOT DEFEATED BY HIS OWN COCKINESS. YOUR TELLING ME HE COULD OF KILLED JESSE'S GANG, BUT PUT THEM IN PRISON??? THE GARY/MARY SUE WHO ESCAPED A TENTACLE MONSTER IN PRISON??? Deserved.

I just love the fact he's a redeemed villain, AND the fact he could of been a more major role in season 3 from the letter in season 2 episode 5 if you stay behind. I wish we saw more of him redeemed because he's just an interesting character to explore with an interesting concept.

1: petra and jesse find some weird shit in a cave but its okay because she’s like “i know a guy”

2: turns out its not okay! jesse gets followed home by an ancient being and has to play its fun games, like “let your intern fucking die”

3: everyone gets sent to jail because jesse doesnt take shit from ancient beings. After tortured intern goes emo, jesse becomes a victim of identity theft and places all of their trust in a mad woman

4: How The Fuck Do We Get Out Of This Cave: featuring the clumsiest ninja to have ever lived

5: jesse’s whole town is in shambles and they have to kill god to fix it

I will never understand how the mcsm fandom is so hateful towards Axel man

The Lukas fans who say they hate Axel because he's "mean" to Lukas? Like, from Axel's perspective, Lukas is a part of the squad of bullies that are extremely hostile towards himself, Jesse, and Olivia. Not only that, but he's the leader of them? I don't think Axel is in the wrong at all for being put off by Lukas' presence in the first episode. Lukas obviously isn't anything like the other Ocelots, but Axel doesn't know that, or certainly hasn't been around Lukas long enough to realize it. He had his moments in episode 1 that were a bit off for him, like the whole

Axel: "He called me stupid."

Lukas: "No I didn't."

Axel: "But you wanted to."

Like yeah that was silly on Axel's part, but considering the mess they just got out of, and how scattered all their minds must feel? Again, I don't blame him too much for it.

Not only this, but Axel stops being mean to him like right after episode 2??

And then there's the people who hate on him because he's a big guy. He's a literal block character, but because he's bigger people just resort to being fatphobic towards him?? Like bro what

He was so wrong for playing finders keepers with that elixir though I can't defend him on that ☠️

Yeah Stampy, Lizzie, Stacy, Dan and Captain Sparklez were in mcsm, it was great I love that, probably one of my favourite episodes.

(Even if I am still a bit salty at the fact they sidelined Stacy for pretty much the whole episode)

But can we all give BigB some appreciation for being in season 2 as well, yeah I know he didn’t have as big of a role but he was still there and I think we sometimes forget that.
