This is one of those things that's worked its way squarely into my vocabulary. (For context, Gerard was talking about how nice it was to be wearing a white shirt, because in a black shirt you get hotter.) (For personal context, Dad and I were DYING because I, like everyone else at this show, looked like I had raided a Hot Topic on the way in, and Dad, like four other dads who lovingly accompanied their daughters to this show, was wearing a white shirt and jeans. And which one of us ended up dressed like Gerard?)
