In 2022: My Chemical Romance performed their 27th show of the 2022-2023 Swarm tour in Elmont, New York, USA. At this show an unreleased song (titled "Everybody Hates the Eagles" on the paper setlist) was performed for the second time ever, with new lyrics. Gerard Way wore an inside out grey t-shirt with green camo print mini shorts and a clear plastic eye mask, and "GET IN THE CHAIR" was written on the drums. (🖤)

i saw them at elmont and it wasn't a particularly interesting outfit either, but i understand where you're coming from. i would have loved to see catgirl gerard or somethin real crazy.

i'm gonna narrow it down to songs i've listened to in the past few days that i have not posted about already

everybody hates the eagles by mcr (the elmont one) because HOOOOO it fucks

this ancient snippet of an unreleased song from a small UK artist which i will probably never hear in its entirety but am still very much enamored with all these years later. no title for it

contact high by architecture in helsinki because WOW that chorus is catchy!! it's like uhh pop but leaning into synth? with hint of owl city. very similar to turn the lights down by bso (of "sh bby is ok" fame)

matt bellamy's best live screams - this is a song in itself. but many of the screams are from stockholm syndrome which i can only describe as what it must feel like to run so hard you taste blood then leap off a precipice into open air

leviathan by leathermout. i fucking LOVE. this SONG. i want to be hearing it ALL THE TIME. i love everything about it. extremely unholy
