I don't expect or need Daniel to front up to media, but I do hope CAA or someone in Daniel's team with decent paddock media connections fucking says something, or prompts the media to ask the right questions. At this point I'll even take a Nick Thimm twitter thread a la post-McL era.

hi bestieee, could you do some movie night Haley headcanons? im a Haley girl and recently watched Legally Blonde, I think she would like that movie too so, it could be something fun to think about :) <3
movie night with haley || headcanons
curling up with haley and watching a movie? count me in! <3
warnings: x farmer, nothing else really!! <33
requested by: @idk-i-want-mcl-content , thank you so much for the request! this is such a fun request, and really cute!! this is a fantastic prompt for haley, i love it sm!! <33
Tumblr media
• Haley loves watching movies with you, it's one of her favorite past times! Her love for photography definitely pushes this forward, loving movies that have beautiful cinematography. However, she does love to relax with some cheese-y movies from time to time! She doesn't really mind, as long as she's curled up with you!
• The only movie genre Haley actually hates is sci-fi. It's too much for her, she hates that there's so much established stuff that she feels like she's missing out on most of it. She also despises reboots or adaptations. They never seem like they're actually trying to tell an original story, it's always missing some aspect of passion. She will absolutely dread watching any movie like that, but she'd begrudging watch it for you. Don't expect her to pay attention, her eyes would pretty much entirely on you.
• She loves analyzing movies and their beautiful cinematography. Wes Anderson movies are incredibly interesting to her, with such unique vibes and bright colors. It's absolutely fantastic to her, and she cannot get enough. Sometimes she'll ask you to pause it for a moment so that she can snap a picture on her phone for later inspiration. Please, ask her what she thinks about it, because she probably won't tell you unless you ask. She'll explain in a soft tone, sounding incredibly passionate about it. It's nice to hear her talking about something she loves, you adore that voice.
• However, if she's stressed, she's going to relax with movies like Legally Blonde or Clueless. She enjoys the cheesiness of them, but she has to admit, it's definitely well written. If you tease her about her choices, she'll retaliate with something equally embarrassing, but she'll say it with a smile. She really does love you, and she definitely shows it through teasing. And she'll hit you with a roast ten times better than yours.
• Most nights, she asks you if you'd like to watch a movie and then she'll break out a list of movies that she enjoys, she thinks you'd enjoy, or that you've both never seen before. She'll put one on, and rest her head on your shoulder. Most often than not, she'll intertwine hands with you and squeeze it occasionally. She loves that she has someone to share these experiences with now, she doesn't have to everything by herself. She has the best company in the world. Movie nights with Haley mean a lot to her, and she loves spending time with you like this.

MCL's Headcanons requests OPEN !
Hiii ! MCL is coming to an end (and MCL New Gen is coming, isn't that exciting ?) so in the name of the good old days I wanted to go and write some headcanons about our dear LI (also because I need to do something else rather than writing essays for uni but that's a whooole other story). I remember enjoying writing about MCL back in the days (I even wrote a fic that's how much I enjoyed it I guess) so why not do it again with another format ! Feel free to send me your requests and I'll do my best to answer it !
Little disclaimer before tho :
I won't write about topics such as abuse, self-harm,etc... (the world is already negative enough, we don't do that here guys). Nothing against a little angst ofc but let's keep it entertaining as the goal is not to make anyone feel down after reading these headcanons. This is a safe space so let's keep it that way ;)
The more specific the better ! That way there's no misunderstanding and your request will be properly completed (no harm in being a little vague but hence the result might be too) + specify about which opus you're referring to (High School, Uni, Love Life, etc...)
I will write trying to stick to the characters as they are in the game but you know, I do have my own opinions and perceptions of them so I hope you don't mind if I allow myself to let it slip here and there.
NSFW's okay (no shame in spicing things up, right ?) but it'll resonate with the first point : I won't write about abusive scenarios or anything as such so as long as you're not requesting about things like that, everything's fine ! However I'd rather if it doesn't become the main content of this blog so please keep that in mind.
No need to send your request multiple times, don't worry one is enough
And just a little reminder that this is entirely for entertainment (no pressure, see ?)
Just so you guys know, I have a soft spot for wholesome/fluff headcanons but I also love angst (and that's a nice contradiction) but that make sense since I am a Nath's girl I guess ?
I might do some prompts in the future so if you have some ideas, please don't hesitate to share them. In the meantime, I'll try to find a list of nice prompts :)
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them and I think that all there is to say !
Byeee

Recognizing Common Types of Knee Injuries in Children
Tumblr media
Children are naturally energetic and love to engage in various physical activities like running, jumping, and playing sports. However, this high level of activity can make them more susceptible to knee injuries. As a Pediatric orthopedic surgeon and knee specialist, I frequently treat young patients who have sustained knee injuries. Knowing the types of common knee injuries can help parents recognize symptoms early and seek timely care. Below are five common types of knee injuries in children.
1. Knee Fracture:
Direct impact from a fall or accident can result in a knee fracture, especially involving the patella (kneecap). These fractures in youngsters may be caused by contact during sports, falls from a bike, or accidents on the playground. Severe pain, bruising, swelling, and trouble moving the knee are some of the symptoms. Treatment options vary from casting to surgery, depending on the severity, but children usually recover well with the right care.
2. Ligament Injuries
Sports like basketball and football sometimes include sudden movements, twists, or direction changes, all of which can result in ligament injury. The medial collateral ligament (MCL) and anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) are the ligaments that sustain injuries the most. Knee pain, swelling, instability, and occasionally a popping feeling are among the symptoms. While some mild ligament injuries may heal with rest and rehabilitation, severe ligament tears may require surgical repair.
3. Dislocation of the Knee
When the knee’s bones are pushed out of position, usually as a result of trauma or high-impact injuries, knee dislocation takes place. This is a dangerous injury that frequently harms the knee’s ligaments, blood vessels, and nerves. Knee dislocations should be treated right away because waiting can result in long-term problems. A noticeable deformity, extreme pain, and a restriction in knee movement are among the symptoms. Treatment options include surgery, physical therapy, and bracing, depending on the severity of the damage.
4. Meniscus Tears
The meniscus is a C-shaped piece of cartilage that acts as a cushion between the thigh and shin bones. In children, meniscus tears are commonly caused by Twisting or rotating actions, especially in sports. Signs include knee pain, swelling, and difficulty moving the knee, particularly when squatting or twisting. Medical treatment can cure some meniscus tears, but surgery may be necessary to repair bigger or more complicated injuries.
5.Tears in the Tendon
Falls and rapid motions that put excessive strain on the knee can cause tendon rips, especially in the kneecap or quadriceps tendons. A youngster may suffer from extreme pain, swelling, and an inability to straighten their leg if these tendons are damaged, as they are essential for knee extension. Complete tendon tears typically require surgical repair, although lesser rips can frequently be treated with rest and physical therapy.
Conclusion
Children’s knee injuries can range in severity, and full recovery depends on early diagnosis and appropriate treatment. My goal as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon is to make sure kids recover fully and may safely resume their normal activities. Strength training, safety clothing, and appropriate sports methods are essential for preventing injuries. Seeking prompt expert care for your child’s knee injury can significantly enhance recovery results. For the best care Visit the Pune-based Dr. Sameer Desai Clinic. Making ensuring you’re happy and receiving the best care possible is our main priority.

Understanding MCL Injuries: Causes, Symptoms, and Recovery
Tumblr media
The medial collateral ligament (MCL) is a critical structure in the knee that helps stabilize the joint, particularly during side-to-side movements. Injuries to the MCL are common among athletes and active individuals, often resulting from sudden impacts or twisting motions. This blog post will delve into the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for MCL injuries, offering insights for those looking to prevent or recover from this common knee issue.
What is an MCL Injury?
The MCL is located on the inner side of the knee and connects the thigh bone (femur) to the shinbone (tibia). An MCL injury typically occurs when the knee is subjected to force from the outside, pushing it inward. This can happen during sports that involve sudden changes in direction, like soccer, football, or skiing.
Causes of MCL Injuries
MCL injuries are often the result of:
Direct impact to the outside of the knee: Common in contact sports, where collisions or tackles can place excessive force on the knee.
Sudden changes in direction: Sports like basketball, soccer, or skiing can lead to MCL injuries due to the quick pivots and turns involved.
Overuse or repetitive stress: Activities that consistently strain the knee joint can weaken the MCL over time, making it more susceptible to injury.
Symptoms of an MCL Injury
An MCL injury can vary in severity, ranging from a mild sprain to a complete tear. Common symptoms include:
Pain on the inside of the knee: The most common symptom, often occurring immediately after the injury.
Swelling and tenderness: The knee may become swollen and tender to the touch, particularly along the inner side.
Instability: Depending on the severity of the injury, you may feel like your knee is unstable or "giving way" during movement.
Limited range of motion: Flexing or extending the knee may be painful or difficult, particularly in more severe injuries.
Diagnosing MCL Injuries
If you suspect an MCL injury, it’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis. They will typically perform a physical examination to assess the knee’s stability and may order imaging tests, such as an MRI, to determine the extent of the damage.
Treatment Options for MCL Injuries
Treatment for an MCL injury depends on the severity of the injury:
Rest and Ice: Mild MCL injuries (Grade 1) can often be managed with rest, ice, and over-the-counter pain relievers. Avoiding activities that stress the knee is crucial during recovery.
Physical Therapy: Rehabilitation exercises can help restore strength and flexibility to the knee, ensuring a smooth return to normal activity. Physical therapy is often recommended for moderate (Grade 2) injuries.
Bracing: A knee brace may be used to provide additional support and prevent further injury while the MCL heals.
Surgery: Severe MCL injuries (Grade 3), involving complete tears, may require surgical intervention, particularly if other structures in the knee are also damaged.
Recovery and Prevention
Recovery from an MCL injury can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on the severity. Following your healthcare provider’s recommendations and participating in a structured rehabilitation program can help ensure a full recovery.
To prevent future MCL injuries:
Strengthen the muscles around the knee: Exercises that target the quadriceps, hamstrings, and hip muscles can provide better support and stability.
Warm-up before activities: Proper warm-up routines can prepare the muscles and ligaments for the physical demands of sports and exercise.
Wear appropriate footwear: Shoes that provide good support and are suitable for your activity can reduce the risk of knee injuries.
Conclusion
MCL injuries, while common, can be effectively managed with prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Whether you’re an athlete or someone who enjoys an active lifestyle, understanding the causes, symptoms, and treatment options for MCL injuries can help you stay on top of your knee health. Remember, prevention is key, so take the necessary steps to protect your knees and maintain your mobility.

When it comes to technology, Erza knows the basic. She is decent at handling any type of gadgets as long as they are simple and intuitive. If the machine is complex, she tends to give up on it. But if she really has to learn it for her own benefit, then she will do her best to study it. If she does attempt it, it takes a while for her to get the hang of it.
In regards to MCL (Mobile Communication Lacrima), Erza had one of the earliest versions. She hadn't fully utilized it, but she knew how to do the basic function of calling and texting. Though there are plenty of instances when she'd call the wrong person, or accidentally call someone unprompted.
She doesn't feel the need to be up to date with the latest technology. But with how rough she is with the usage of her MCL during missions, she tends to break them a lot. She ends up buying the latest model with the best features (even though she fails to utilize them). She also doesn't really care about the brand. She'll just follow suggestions on what the best one is. She had been through all the series until the latest one, and the one she currently has is the pink Nebula model.

Court rejects wine supplier’s attempt to dismiss wine distributor’s lawsuit for improper termination and reasonable compensation finding termination for lack of prompt payment and the improper credit require factual determination.
A Michigan Federal Court has ruled that the motion to dismiss stage is no place to test the merits of claims that a wine supplier’s termination of a distribution agreement with a wine distributor.  Cana Distributors, a Michigan based wholesaler of wine, sued PortoVino, a supplier of wine (link to complaint), alleging that PortoVino’s termination of their distribution agreement violated MCL…
