Episode 3 Amanda's behavior

Okay, I didn't play Amanda's or Thomas's route this episode and I'm not entirely done with this episode yet (I'm on Jason's + Devon's route), BUT THIS IS SO CHILDISH??

Why wouldn't an adult woman come to our "Welcome Party" just because it's at our house? Just because we didn't want to have it at the park? Like I get that she started this tradition, but isn't the party about getting to know each other and making the new employee feel welcome? It doesn't really matter, where it's held...

Isn't the new employee allowed to have a different opinion? Come on Amanda...

Hello, What do you think about the narrative in CDM New Gen? I feel empty of everything in these three chapters, not lore, narrative, or interactions. The extended scenes are more about seeing the thoughts of Sucrette and not interactions with the crush and grounding up the friendship and the relationship.

I understand what you mean, because there isn't an epic main plot like in Eldarya for example. New Gen is supposed to be very much like High School Life, light-hearted slice of life sit-com-like episodes. At this time in HSL we were scared of a possible ghost in the school basement and chasing a dog. This is a slightly more adult version of course, but should probably not expect anything more dramatic.

I do agree with the special scenes though, because we're not really flirting yet, so at this point they're mostly about Ysaline's feelings so they could be a hit or miss. I really liked the first special scene with Jason for example but the one in episode 4 could easily be skipped imo. I'm expecting the scenes to get more interesting as the game progresses.

I do love a slow-burn but I'm also a greedy bish and want to romance and manhandle the crushes right now 😩 I live a life of contradictions.

Pretty much gonna repost what I've discussed on the forum because I'm too lazy XD.

Also, I've created my own Tumblr account for my OC: @pinkpetalwhispers. It's still a work in progress.

While the episode was rather short, it was cute and wholesome. It was sweet of the company to organize a welcome party for the newest member of their team. I wonder if something like that is done in real life…

The outfit with the kimono was my favorite of the two, but I would've preferred it with a lighter color skirt rather than the dark purple. And, I'm not too keen on the boots.

In my personal opinion, I think it would've been best to have the party outside at the park. I wouldn't feel comfortable having them at my house because we aren't fully acquainted with our co-workers yet.

Although, I didn't like how many Amanda got an attitude over it. It is the MC's party after all, so she should be allowed to pick the setting of the party. It seemed really petty of her to be honest.

I decided to play through this episode with Thomas and the scenes with him were really cute. (Side tangent, motorcycles are actually terrifying to me but movies and TV shows always make them look so cool.) I especially liked the scene in the mall where Candy shared her sorbet with him and the flower crown scene in the park made me all giddy. I do like the slow burn/friendship adjacent moments with her crush; I'm glad that they're here so that the romance doesn't feel so rushed.

I hope that there are more in the next episode.

And apparently, from what I've gathered on the forum, many players have mentioned that Roy is apparently in a relationship with Brune. I do not know how serious the relationship was until I do a replay later. I do hope that for the sake of the Roy fans that they aren't trying to ruin what Roy and Brune have.

Thoughts on MCL NG EP.3 pt.1 (?) BC I'm fkn late✨

To summarize, I have 2 accounts for now: my Brazilian account, and my US account.

For the Brazilian account, I'm aiming for Jason, but since he only appears once in a while I'm trying to get the illustrations with the others that match my outfit (most of the time is Roy bc I don't have enough affinity with my boss 😭😭😭 I hope he doesn't fire me)

For the US account I'm aiming for Amanda, because wow.

But istg this woman is pissing me off on my Brazilian account!!!!!!!! Since I have to do the party at Candy's house to get the illustration with Roy/Devon, I couldn't choose the option to do it at the park and little princess just decided NOT TO SHOW UP?!??!??!! A wise woman once said: "Bitch?! You better be joking!!!" I know it's against the tradition to do at a place other than the park, but like?! How old are youuuuu? And why did the others not show up?????

Anywayyys, that being said. I'm still aiming for her on my other account because I'm gay and because she danced with me and I'm weak 🥹 but if she's still annoying, Thomas is my other option!

Anyways 2, it's interesting to see "both" sides of the story. That is, if you decide to go for Amanda and if you decide not to.

Anyways 3, omgggg I love Elenda so much, guys!!!!! She's an icon ✨ I loved how she responded to Devon at Candy's house kkkkkkkkk

For the ones who are just as late as I am, contextualizing her comment: there was a really awkward moment of silence BC no one knew what to talk about and to solve the situation Elenda showed her cards game that she uses to break the ice. Seeing her game Devon says something like "Are we not past that age (of playing the game) yet?"

tbh i wish jason's scene had come later in the episode cause i lost a lot of interest afterwards, it wasnt the most interesting thing and on top of that i couldnt get amanda's illustration cause it was the other outfit 😭 (PLEASE beemov give them the same damn outfit im not gonna waste more aps)

also, excuse me, roy is with brune???? what is this im not doing his route but i hope they break up soon wtf 😩 (i love the detail that brune's mom is spanish tho 💋🇪🇸)

anyway bit of a boring episode ig but its just the third one, im just hoping for some DRAMA down the road 🤭

Episode 3 Devon's route opinion

(spoiler alert) I know a lot of people don't like Candy dating her boss, but out of every Love Interest I like him the best - personality wise at least. However, the whole "scene" for the illustration in episode 3 made me lowkey uncomfortable??? Two other people (coworkers!!) were there during the entire (sensual) massage... and she kept "whispering" how perfect the massage was...
